Abstract

Corruption is one of Indonesia’s biggest problems. Various efforts have been made not only in enforcement of corruption cases, but also in various preventive efforts. Kebumen Regency is one of the poorest districts in Central Java with a high rate of corruption among other city districts in Central Java. Several large-scale corruption cases also involved the Kebumen district government. Various attempts have been made, but anti-corruption attitudes must be encouraged. One of them is through various educational networks. The anti-corruption character strengthening program for students is the basic provision for the nation's next generation to not only eradicate corruption collectively but also have high integrity. This program is carried out at SDN Tlogodepok, Kebumen Regency where through this program an anti-corruption character will be formed for students as an anti-corruption fortress from an early age. This program will be implemented in several methods: (1) lectures and outreach, (2) anti-corruption games, (3) anti-corruption learning assistance, (4) initiation of honesty stalls, (5) formation of anti-corruption student cadres, and (6) establishment of an integrity zone at SDN Tlogodepok

Abstract

The number of domestic violence from year to year continues to increase. Many studies show that the increasing trend is motivated by many factors, one of which is the economy. This study aims to analyze the provision of legal aid for victims of domestic violence. This research is one of the community services programs in collaboration with the Center for Legal Aid, Faculty of Law, Universitas Negeri Semarang. This study shows that access to legal aid for victims of domestic violence has not been evenly distributed. This is due to several factors, ranging from not being exposed to cases of domestic violence, to the lack of information on legal aid for victims.

Abstract

Corruption is one of the challenges for Indonesia, not only the issue of law enforcement, but also the problem of the impact and influence of corruption itself on society. The rise of corrupt behavior even down to the lowest layers in society makes law enforcement against corruption more severely difficult. Moreover, with the many cases of corruption and law enforcement that are dominated by political influence generates distrust in the community. On the other hand, the development of the region after regional autonomy actually makes corruption spread to almost all regions in Indonesia. There are many cases of regional heads caught in corruption, even down to the district and village level. This article examines the patterns of criminal acts of corruption involving local government officials as well as the factors underlying the rampant corruption in the regions. This article uses a qualitative method with a sociological juridical approach. The facts in the form of cases that occur are analyzed based on laws and regulations and applicable legal theory. Law enforcement against corruption in the regions in general is influenced by three important factors, namely the substance of laws and regulations, the resources of law enforcement officials as well as the infrastructure and supra structure, and the culture of the community. Keywords: Corruption, Local Officials, Causes.

Abstract

The four principles of freedom (four freedoms) include freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion and belief, freedom from want, and freedom from fear, are basic principles recognized by countries and translated into many more specific forms of human rights fulfillment human. The fulfillment and protection of human rights is one indicator of the progress of a country. The scope of fulfilling human rights that covers a very broad field, from education, health, to law enforcement, is a challenge. The UN Security Council 2017 Universal Periodical Review (UPR) session provides recommendations for strengthening human rights in Indonesia, including the ratification of international human rights instruments, the continued cooperation of UN human rights, the abolition of the death penalty, matters related to sexual orientation and efforts to protect tolerance and diversity. The Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence (Kontras) 2017 records 84 cases of violence and human rights violations that occurred. The issue of interpreting different human rights standards is one of the causes of this high problem in Indonesia. Many different interpretations are caused by the running of different political systems of state administration, causing the implementation of human rights fulfillment to be different. This paper looks at and compares the practices of human rights enforcement covering the four principles of freedom in Indonesia. This paper will compare the implementation of human rights standards and norms in national domestic practices based on international human rights principles and norms.

Abstract

Abstract. International human rights declarations urge the development of feminism in the world. Feminism whose essence is fighting for women's rights has so far been neglected by the community, so that a new spirit is sought so that women can again feel. This study aims to review unfairness actions that have been scattered in society between men and women. Justice is expressed in daily life in order to eradicate acts of gender discrimination. Indonesia as a legal state that always obeys the law and upholds the principles of justice and certainty is a reflection of an existing feminist movement. The role of women must be considered important by the progress of a nation, however in Indonesia there are still many issues of gender equality that occur, such as the absence of women's own beliefs in matters of occupying good power. The problem of sexual crimes that have been wiping out in all public relations has led to increasingly ineffective emancipation of women in Indonesia. This emancipation is a form or manifestation of the feminist movement that can benefit both men and women. The feminism movement can encourage relations in a harmonious society to maintain a stable condition. Keywords: Emancipation, Trust, Justice, Women, Crime Abstrak.

Abstract

Child labor in many cases tends to experience various acts of crime and violence, even in the violation of their human rights, such as human trafficking and exploitation. Child labor has been regulated in various laws and regulations, including the Manpower Act. This paper examines three important key issues, namely: first, the legal protection of child labor in Indonesia based on labor and human rights laws, second, an analysis of the child labor protection rules applicable in Indonesia, and third, the emergence of child labor (child labor) in Indonesia. This research is normative legal research, where the study is literature. However, field data on this study were obtained from various related previous research results, both print and online sources. This research emphasized that the prohibition of working or employing children has been regulated in the Manpower Act which is closely related to efforts to protect children’s rights, which are also guaranteed protection in Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights (Human Rights Act). The principle of child protection not only stipulated on Human Rights Act, but also Indonesian Manpower Act and Indonesia Child Protection Act. However, weaknesses of Manpower Act do not expressly prohibit child labor. In certain occupations, child labor is still permitted on various conditions. But in fact, these requirements are very difficult to control so that many children’s rights are violated.
