Abstract

This study analyzes the phenomenology of cryptocurrency digital assets from the perspective of taxation and sharia law in Indonesia. Cryptocurrency, as a digital innovation based on blockchain technology, has received significant attention both as an alternative investment and a means of transaction. However, its existence poses regulatory challenges, especially in terms of taxation and compliance with sharia principles. This study uses a normative legal method with a legislative and conceptual approach to understand how tax regulations and sharia law regulate cryptocurrency transactions in Indonesia. Data were obtained through literature studies, analysis of relevant legal documents, fatwas, and Qanuns, and interviews with legal and sharia experts. The results of the study show that the Indonesian government has begun to regulate taxes on cryptocurrency transactions through several policies, although there are still challenges in their implementation, such as assessing transaction values and accurate reporting. From a sharia perspective, views on cryptocurrency vary. Some scholars accept cryptocurrency as halal, while others consider it haram due to speculative reasons and the lack of clear underlying assets. In Aceh, as a province with full implementation of sharia law, regulations related to sharia financial transactions are more complex. This study recommends harmonization between tax regulations and sharia law to create legal certainty and justice for all parties involved. The government is expected to strengthen regulations and supervision of cryptocurrency transactions and conduct socialization and education to the public regarding tax obligations and sharia principles related to cryptocurrency. With a comprehensive and integrative approach, it is hoped that a cryptocurrency regulatory system can be created that is fair, efficient, and in accordance with positive and sharia legal values in Indonesia.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency is an investment commodity that can generate returns and already has a license to trade in exchange. This study aims to examine the prospects of digital cryptocurrency assets more deeply by summarising the results of literature studies in various countries. In each of the continents scattered in the world, some countries support the existence of cryptocurrency as an investment asset and a means of payment. As a result of this study, it is known that many countries whose governments make strict regulations on support for legality and allow cryptocurrency transactions include: European Union members, namely Germany and Italy, and non-member countries of the European Union, such as Gibraltar. Furthermore, in the Americas, there are Canada and Venezuela. In East Asia and the Asia Pacific, Australia and Japan support the existence of cryptocurrency. Meanwhile, in Southeast Asian countries, there are contradictions between several countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, that reject cryptocurrency transactions because they are considered threats to money laundering and the problem of terrorism. However, Singapore and Thailand will protect cryptocurrency investors in their countries and ensure legal regulations for cryptocurrency transactions as investment assets and legal means of payment transactions. Investments in digital currencies or cryptocurrencies are increasingly prevalent worldwide and are supported by significant price increases. Of course, this is a prospect that cryptocurrency transactions can meet the expectations of all users in the world by making regulations regarding the legality of cryptocurrency, so that the transaction model can be integrated between users, both as an asset and a substitute for international payment currencies.

Abstract

Currently, the government continues to strive to build and develop the rural economy through community empowerment programs to increase productivity, business diversity, and regional potential, as well as improve the economy and welfare of rural communities. One of the government's programs is to provide a budget for funds in the field of community empowerment, which will be used to support the capital for establishing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDEs). This follows the objectives of BUMDEs, namely optimising the management of village assets and existing village potentials to support the village economy and improve the welfare of rural communities. But unfortunately, until now, the role and function of BUMDEs have not been effective or felt by the community. This is due to the inability and lack of professionalism of BUMDEs' management human resources, and the lack of integration of businesses managed by BUMDEs with existing village potentials, so that it seems as if BUMDEs stands only as a formality without supporting the economic potential of the village community. This study aims to create a strategic concept in BUMDEs management so that it runs more effectively and on target to support the village economy through the development of human resource knowledge in BUMDEs management, integrated with the economic potential of the village community. So, BUMDEs and Basic Pontesial village are integrated into a business institution that supports the village economy for the welfare of the village community. This solution can help village communities strengthen their economy and provide a view of knowledge and open insights to BUMDEs managers so that they can develop BUMDEs into a business that synergises with the community. This study uses primary data from questionnaires and interviews aimed at BUMDEs management employees to see the extent of their abilities, expertise, and knowledge to evaluate and innovate in the business. In analysing the data, this study uses the Maslahah Scorecard measurement method, which refers explicitly to performance measurements oriented towards the welfare of the people (society). The output of this study is the publication of a reputable national journal and a reference book of research results certified by an ISBN with an initial TKT level of TKT 1. A Final TKT Target of TKT 3, namely this study, will focus on the Integration of Basic Village Potential in BUMDEs Managers in North Aceh Regency, Lhokseumawe City and Bireun Regency.

Abstract

Sharia cooperatives have two backgrounds of establishment and activities that are almost as strong, namely as microfinance institutions and as Islamic financial institutions. Judging from the principles that exist in cooperatives, there is nothing that conflicts with Islamic law. This institution is in accordance with Islamic values. However, it is necessary to improve and monitor the cooperative system, namely, to avoid Riba, Maysir, Ghoror, Batil. Islamic cooperatives do not have a striking system difference with conventional cooperatives. Therefore, the legal umbrella used by sharia cooperatives generally uses the legal umbrella for conventional cooperatives, namely Law No. 25 of 1992 concerning cooperatives. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research and in collecting data using observation interviews and documentation methods, there are data analysis techniques used, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the Muhammadiyah Surya Mandiri Syariah Cooperative helps the Lhoksuemawe community in making savings and loans.

Abstract

International strategic management is a comprehensive and ongoing process of management planning aimed at developing and implementing strategies that enable businesses to compete effectively in an international environment. The process of developing an international strategy is of course often referred to as "strategic planning". Strategic planning is usually the responsibility of senior management at company headquarters and in the company's domestic and international operating branches. Most large companies also have population planners who provide technical assistance to top management in formulating strategy. For example, five Disney planners first collected the demographic and economic data policy makers needed, and then used that data to select France as the location for Euro Disney. International strategic management leads to the formulation of various international strategies. It is a comprehensive framework for achieving the company's fundamental goals. Conceptually, there are many similarities between developing strategic capabilities in one country and developing competitive strategies in many countries. According to Hill and Jones (2012), international strategic management is “the process of establishing, developing, and implementing corporate strategic actions aimed at gaining competitive advantage in global markets”. Method Descriptive qualitative method is a research method used to gain a deep understanding of phenomena through description, interpretation and analysis of qualitative data.
