Abstract

Although marijuana is banned from use in healthcare in Indonesia, medical developments show its potential benefits. This research will examine Islamic views on the legalization of medical cannabis in the context of Indonesian positive law. This research will examine the regulation, legality, and implications of the use of medical cannabis in Indonesia, focusing on legal, religious, and health aspects. Given the gap between medical needs and existing regulations, this research aims to fill the knowledge gap regarding the regulation of medical cannabis in Indonesia. This research shows that regulations related to medical cannabis are contained in Law No. 35 of 2009. From a positive legal perspective, cannabis is recognized as having health benefits that are proven to help various diseases, as recorded in history. However, in the view of Islamic law, marijuana is considered haram, including for use as medicine, except in emergency conditions or for the sake of benefit. Some scholars allow the use of haram objects for treatment if there is no halal alternative available; however, if there is a halal option, it should be used. Therefore, further research on medical marijuana is needed to ascertain its benefits and conditions of use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara manajemen kinerja dan efektivitas proses pengadilan di Pengadilan Negeri Bale Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan sistem peradilan Indonesia dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai dan efisiensi proses hukum, yang berdampak pada kepercayaan masyarakat. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 15 partisipan (hakim, pegawai, dan pihak terkait), observasi partisipatif, serta analisis dokumen resmi. Data dianalisis secara tematik dengan bantuan perangkat lunak NVivo untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan hubungan antarkonsep. Temuan penelitian mengungkap tiga tema utama: (1) pemahaman tugas yang baik oleh pegawai berkorelasi positif dengan percepatan penyelesaian perkara, (2) beban kerja dan stres yang tinggi menghambat kinerja hakim dan pegawai, serta (3) komunikasi antarpihak yang tidak efektif menyebabkan penundaan proses pengadilan. Hasil ini memperkuat teori manajemen kinerja sektor publik dengan menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi kompetensi SDM dan sistem komunikasi merupakan faktor kritis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengadilan. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengadilan untuk mengadopsi sistem manajemen kinerja berbasis teknologi, program pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan kebijakan penyeimbang beban kerja. Kontribusi studi ini tidak hanya mengisi celah literatur tentang manajemen pengadilan di Indonesia tetapi juga memberikan kerangka acuan bagi reformasi peradilan yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

About 40% of approved drugs and nearly 90% of drug candidates have low aqueous solubility which limits their bioavailability resulting in suboptimal pharmacological activity. According to the Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS), drugs with low solubility and high permeability are categorized as BCS Class II, where the dissolution rate becomes a key factor in gastrointestinal absorption. One approach to increasing its solubility is the formation of an amorphous state, which lowers lattice energy and enhances dissolution. However, the amorphous form tends to be unstable and prone to recrystallization. Mesoporous silica has been developed as a drug delivery system capable of maintaining the stability of the amorphous form through molecular interactions with silanol groups and the nano-confinement effect that suppresses crystal growth. With a high surface area and tunable pore structure, mesoporous silica enhances the dissolution rate and bioavailability of BCS Class II drugs, ultimately contributing to improved pharmacological activity. This review summarizes the development of mesoporous silica formulations in drug delivery systems for BCS Class II drugs to enhance their pharmacological efficacy.

Abstract

This study analyzes the practice of nepotism in the relationship between Musa and Harun in the Qur’an from an Islamic kinship perspective supported by divine legitimacy. The main focus of this study is to analyze key verses in the Qur’an related to nepotism (the granting of power in kinship) in the story of Musa and Harun. Through qualitative methods and maudhu’i (thematic) interpretation with a content analysis approach to explore the thoughts of exegetes (mufassir) regarding the relationship between Musa and Harun both in lineage, religion, da’wah and leadership. The results chapter of this study discusses in depth three main indicators of nepotism in the story of Musa and Harun in the Qur’an. First, the intention or purpose underlying Musa’ request to give Aaron a position. Second, Harun’s superiority or capability as a candidate proposed by Musa to Allah SWT. Third, divine legitimacy or conformity with sharia values (justice). The results of this study indicate that the granting of power in kinship (nepotism) found in the story of Musa and Harun is positive because it is based on the goal of the welfare of the people and the excellence of Aaron which Allah recorded in the Qur’an especially in the field of fashahah and the granting of this position is not only in accordance with the value of justice but also received direct approval from Allah SWT. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic leadership and become a reference for further studies in the field of politics or Islamic leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of mandatory reporting services at the Class II Amuntai Correctional Center and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its effectiveness. The research is motivated by the strategic role of correctional centers in the social reintegration process and the importance of humane and professional services. This descriptive qualitative research employed in-depth interviews and direct observation involving correctional officers and clients. The findings reveal that service quality is relatively good, especially in terms of staff professionalism, friendliness, and access to information. However, challenges such as limited human resources, inadequate infrastructure, and suboptimal waiting times remain. In conclusion, despite structural limitations, service quality is maintained due to the competence and work ethics of the officers. These findings are crucial as a basis for policy-making to improve correctional service quality in the future.

Abstract

Kegiatan berjamaah dalam Islam tidak hanya bernilai ibadah, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai fondasi untuk memperkuat ukhuwah, kedisiplinan, dan interaksi sosial umat. Namun, perkembangan gaya hidup individualistis telah menyebabkan penurunan partisipasi di masjid, melemahkan perannya sebagai pusat spiritual dan sosial. Kondisi ini mendorong perlunya strategi komunikasi persuasif yang efektif. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini bertujuan menganalisis upaya komunikasi persuasif Majelis Taklim (MT) Al-Ukhuwah dalam meningkatkan kesadaran berkegiatan secara berjamaah di Masjid Al-Barokah. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis tematik berbasis kerangka McGuire’s Persuasion Matrix serta divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi data dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengurus MT Al-Ukhuwah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran jamaah melalui beberapa elemen persuasif kunci. Kredibilitas pengurus dan ustadz menjadi faktor utama yang membangun kepercayaan. Konstruksi pesan dakwah yang relevan dengan kebutuhan jamaah mendorong partisipasi aktif. Variasi saluran komunikasi, dari mimbar hingga kegiatan sosial, efektif menjangkau ranah kognitif, afektif, dan perilaku. Integrasi tujuan spiritual dan sosial ini terbukti berhasil membangun solidaritas dan kesadaran kolektif. Berdasarkan kerangka teori McGuire, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi dakwah persuasif yang relevan, kredibel, dan partisipatif merupakan instrumen efektif untuk meningkatkan partisipasi jamaah, memperkuat kohesi sosial, dan membangun kepercayaan institusional dalam komunitas keagamaan.

Abstract

Students' competitiveness can be increased through various ways such as studying effectively, developing social and emotional skills, and participating in extracurricular activities. The emphasis on increasing students' competitiveness is expected to help them to become successful and competent individuals in their future lives. This research aims to examine the influence of teacher performance on student competitiveness in State Junior High Schools (SMPN) in Cilegon City, with achievement motivation, student achievement and student absorption as intervening variables. The approach used is quantitative with a survey type, collecting data through questionnaires from 546 teachers at State Middle Schools in Cilegon City. The sampling technique was proportional stratified random sampling, with a sample size of 85 based on the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10%. Data analysis was carried out using inferential statistics using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26 approach. The results of the research show that teacher performance (X) from the results of the multiple linear regression test can be seen that the t-count (t-stat) value for the teacher performance variable is 5.165, where this value is greater than the t table, namely 1.66412 with a significance level of 0.05 (α = 5%) and degree of freedom (df) = 80. These results indicate that directly the teacher performance variable has a significant influence on competitiveness (Z) of 0.442. Meanwhile, the statistical test value on the Sobel test is 2,428 and the p-value or Sig value. is 0.015, where the p-value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (α= 5%), so it can be concluded that the variable absorption capacity (Y3) is significantly able to mediate the teacher performance variable (X) on competitiveness (Z). The conclusion of this research is that teacher performance directly has a significant influence on student competitiveness, and teacher performance has an influence on competitiveness with absorptive capacity as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Industrialization has long been regarded as a key driver of economic transformation in developing countries, including Indonesia, where agriculture remains the backbone of many regional economies. In West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, the challenge of enhancing community welfare requires innovative policy strategies, one of which is agricultural-based industrialization. This study aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of agricultural-based industrialization policy on community welfare in NTB Province. The research focuses on communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure as key determinants of policy implementation success. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 69 respondents. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, as well as t-tests and F-tests. The results indicate that all four variables have a positive and significant effect on policy implementation. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.740 suggests that 74% of the variance in policy implementation can be explained by the independent variables. These findings imply that effective policy planning and execution, supported by clear communication, adequate resources, competent implementers, and a well-structured bureaucracy, significantly contribute to improving community welfare in the NTB region

Abstract

Pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik problem solving pada peserta didik, dan ada tidaknya efektifitas layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik problem solving dalam mengurangi ketidak hadiran tanpa keterangan (alpa) pada peserta didik kelas VII SMP negeri 1 Wanasari Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian pre-experimetal dengan desain pre-test and post-test one group. Populasi penelitian 92, sampel penelitian 24. Alat pengumpulan data berupa: angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas digunakan rumus korelasi product moment dari Pearson dan Uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Spearman Brown. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase dan Statistik Uji-t (Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design). Pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik problem solving dapat mengurangi ketidakhadiran tanpa keterangan, oleh karena itu diharapkan dapat guru pembimbing dapat lebih meningkatkan pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik problem solving di sekolah.

Abstract

The work of journalists on the battlefield is a tough duty with all the consequences and the threat of death that can occur at any time. This also happen to the journalist in the war between Russia and Ukraine. The case of two journalist of Fox News who were killed outside the capital city Kiev because the vehicle they were traveling in was shot in the city of Horenka. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the rights of journalists on the battlefield, especially in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, can be protected by the existence of International Humanitarian Law (IHL). The method used is doctrinal and hermeneutic with data collection techniques, namely document studies and "analyze" or "interpret" prescription texts and legal constructions on the secondary data. The results of this study prove that there are still many violations of the existence of IHL, especially in the 1949 Geneva Conventions in terms of legal protection for journalists on the battlefield.
