Abstract

This study analyzes the legal application in a corporate corruption case involving the director of PT ADI INTI MANDIRI, as outlined in the Central Jakarta District Court Decision No. 49/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024. The case arose from irregularities in the procurement of a monitoring system for Indonesian migrant workers under the Directorate of Overseas Employment, resulting in significant state losses. This analysis demonstrates that corporations can be held criminally liable for the actions of their executives, particularly in cases involving collusion and procurement manipulation mechanisms. In the court decision, the defendant was sentenced to imprisonment, fines, and restitution. This study employs a normative juridical research method to examine the ruling and relevant regulations. It highlights the importance of robust internal control systems to prevent abuses of authority within corporations. The findings reveal that strict law enforcement, supported by collaboration between the government, private sector, and civil society, is essential to prevent corrupt practices and establish a transparent and accountable business environment in Indonesia.

Abstract

A transmitter as the main element in the hadith transmission has special conditions. It relates to considerations in determining the hadith qualifications. One of the conditions playing a central role is the transmitter's uprightness ('adalah). The article aims to reveal that the transmitter's uprightness intersects with ethical philosophy. As a prescriptive science, ethics is a branch of philosophy that considers an action critically with certain moral parameters. Through a qualitative study using the moral philosophy approach from the perspective of Agus Dewantara, the transmitter's uprightness conception correlates with ethical values. As A result, the transmitter's uprightness has two ethical dimensions. First, the ethical-theological dimension correlates with subjective moral order including: a transmitter must have a Muslim identity and implement religious provisions. Second, the ethical-sociological dimension correlates with an objective moral order meaning that a transmitter must be mukallaf and always maintain self-image (muru'ah).

Abstract

The research and design of the Kaganga Script Revisualization as Lampung Identity or Had Lampung is an attempt to provide aesthetic value to the conventional letter system. The aesthetic aspects that were given derived from Lampung cultural traditions, icons, and other visual idioms, such as ornaments on tapis cloth, carvings, traditional clothing accessories, and the stylization of Lampung's unique flora and fauna. The research method of the Kaganga script re-visualization is using Creative Thinking Process approach of Bryan Lawson, who applies steps in solving visual communication problems through several stages; (1) initial understanding (2) preparation (3) incubation (4) information (5) verification. Data analysis is done by considering several aesthetics factors; legibility, readability and unity. From several design or prototype alternatives that have been tested, the new Kaganga script using the Jungian (ship) motif was selected. This design uses Lampung traditional idioms to stylize the original script, which are the stylization of the Jung / Ship motif and the motif of Gold Thread Embroidery. Furthermore, this design can be continued on to the public testing and introduce it to Lampung public after it has been digitized.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to estimate the unit cost of diabetic wound care services in primary healthcare facilities (FKTPs) using the Time-Driven Activity-Based Costing (TDABC) method and to quantify the potential cost savings from reallocating cases from secondary (FKRTL) to primary care facilities. Methods: A micro-costing analysis was conducted across 40 FKTPs in Indonesia using a standardized five-step TDABC framework, covering personnel, facility, medical supplies, and overhead costs. Descriptive and nonparametric statistical methods, including the trimmed mean, geometric mean, and interquartile range, were applied to derive cost estimates, and simulations with 15% and 35% case shifting from FKRTL to FKTP were performed. Non-parametric methods (Kruskal–Wallis and Mann–Whitney U) were applied because the cost data were not normally distributed. Results: The estimated unit cost per diabetic wound-care visit ranged from IDR 67,121 (best-case scenario) to IDR 77,189 (realistic scenario). Cost-shifting simulations projected potential savings of up to IDR 28.15 billion in the 35% scenario. Conclusion: Strengthening diabetic wound-care services at the primary care level may enhance system-wide efficiency and reduce avoidable expenditures within the National Health Insurance (JKN) scheme, supporting the adoption of more cost-effective service delivery models in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Program (PIP), as regulated in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 10 of 2020, is a strategic government policy designed to address various challenges in the education sector, including the lack of socialization to parents, mistargeting of aid recipients, a still-centralized determination process, and limited supporting human resources. This study aims to examine the implementation of PIP and the factors influencing it at MAN 3 Balangan, Lampihong District, Balangan Regency, employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique involving 12 informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of PIP at MAN 3 Balangan has not been fully optimal, as indicated by weaknesses in actor interests, program benefits, determination structure, technical implementers, and inter-stakeholder coordination. Supporting factors include the availability of facilities, utilization of technology, well-organized administration, and adequate infrastructure, while inhibiting factors consist of limited information, restricted school authority, insufficient socialization, low participation, and uneven understanding among program managers. Therefore, it is recommended that the Ministry of Religious Affairs strengthen socialization, supervision, and coordination, while also encouraging active involvement of school principals, program managers, teachers, parents, and students to enhance the effectiveness of PIP implementation.

Abstract

Social conflict is an inevitable aspect of community life, which, if not properly managed, can result in social, economic, and psychological losses. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the compromise approach as an intervention model for resolving social conflicts in Kumbe Village, Rasanae Timur District, Bima City. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method, involving informants from community leaders, village officials, police officers, mediators, conflict actors, and affected residents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, with validity ensured through triangulation and member checking. The findings indicate that the Head of Kumbe Village consistently applied two conflict resolution styles: accommodation and compromise. The accommodation style is characterized by cooperation, openness to input, providing space for other parties, and maintaining harmony, which fosters a peaceful atmosphere and reduces tension. The compromise style is implemented through a give-and-take principle, emphasis on common ground, temporary resolutions in urgent situations, and practical decision-making, allowing conflicts to be resolved quickly, fairly, and acceptably to all parties. This study confirms that the compromise approach serves as an effective intervention model for managing social conflicts at the village level.
