Abstract

Adanya pandemi covid-19 mengharuskan lembaga pendidikan melakukan pembelajaran secara daring sehingga pergerakan anak menjadi terbatas yang berdampak negatif pada kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Salah satu cara untuk menstimulasi kemampuan motorik kasar anak yakni menggunakan permainan tradisional mattewa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan permainan tradisional mattewa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 5-6 tahun selama masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Galung Lombok Kecamatan Tinambung Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan berupa sampel jenuh yang diambil dari keseluruhan jumlah populasi berjumlah 10 anak dengan usia 5-6 tahun yang berlokasi di Desa Galung Lombok Kecamatan Tinambung Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi kemampuan motorik kasar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan berupa statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata kemampuan motorik kasar antara sebelum diberikan perlakuan (sebesar 16,9) dengan setelah diberikan perlakuan (sebesar 41,2) permainan tradisional mattewa. Jumlah peningkatannya sebesar 24,3. Hal ini berarti penerapan permainan tradisional mattewa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak usia 5-6 tahun selama masa pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Galung Lombok Kecamatan Tinambung Kabupaten Polewali Mandar.

Abstract

Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum requires psychological strength from teachers, including self-efficacy. The application of coaching after the Merdeka Curriculum training can increase teachers' self-efficacy. This study aims to prove that teachers' self-efficacy can be improved using coaching. This research is an experimental study with a sample of 34 early childhood education teachers from 59 'Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) kindergartens in Makassar City. The sample was selected based on certain criteria (purposive sampling). Data was collected using questionnaires. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results showed that there was a difference in the self-efficacy of early childhood education teachers after the treatment of learning based on the Merdeka Curriculum and the provision of coaching. There was an increase in self-efficacy scores before and after the provision of learning training using the Merdeka Curriculum. The increase in teachers' self-efficacy after receiving training and coaching indicates that coaching effectively prepares teachers to face changes in teaching practices, especially in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penerapan discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang diselesaikan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas X MM SMK Negeri Puspo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik meliputi pemberian stimulus, identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, pembuktian (verifikasi), dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari penerapan discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran diperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan rata-rata hasil belajar dari 73,28 ke 80,16 dan ketuntasan belajar dari 62,5 % ke 87,5%.

Abstract

The choice of a major in college is a complex academic decision influenced by various factors such as academic achievement, interest, and external motivation. This study explores the relationship between high school learning achievement and interest in choosing a Biology Education major at the State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar. This study uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method, involving 77 students of the 2017 intake as samples. Data were collected through documentation of report card grades and a questionnaire on interest in choosing a major, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including the Pearson correlation test. The results showed no significant relationship between learning achievement in high school and interest in choosing a Biology Education major (significance value = 0.424; p > 0.05). Additional analysis based on gender and school origin also showed no significant differences. These findings indicate that the choice of major is not entirely based on previous academic achievement but can be influenced by other factors such as social influence, family expectations, and career prospects. In addition, around 37.66% of students who choose this major have a low level of interest, which has the potential to affect their motivation and academic success in college. The implications of this study highlight the need for a re-evaluation of the freshman selection process as well as the importance of academic counseling services to ensure students have a better understanding of their academic options.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate students’ ability to comprehend narrative text. This study was conducted at one school in Riau Island province. The name of the school is deliberately anonymous considering the research ethics. Eighty students were recruited and participated in this study while 28 of them were selected as the sample using purposive sampling. To attain data, five sets of narrative text questions were employed. Each set comprises eight questions that indicate reading components; factual information, main ideas, meaning of certain words, references, generic structure, language features, and social functions. Data were calculated by using Microsoft Excel 2016. The findings show that the mean score of their ability in comprehending components of reading was 47% while comprehending narrative texts at 53% so their total at 50% and categorized into medium level. The finding of research also showed that the lowest ability for students was in answering questions about finding the meaning of certain words at 43%. It is suggested that students must do more practice in reading, then they should learn more about the eight components of reading comprehension of narrative texts such as factual information, main ideas, vocabulary, references, inferences, generic structure, language features, and social functions. Then learn reading strategies such as schema, skimming and scanning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perkembangan perkembangan motorik halus melalui permainan paper clay pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di Desa Madello, Kecamatan Balusu, Kabupaten Barru. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 77 orang anak yang berusia 4-5 tahun di Desa Madello, Kecamatan Balusu, Kabupaten Barru. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 7 anak usia 4-5 tahun yang bertempat tinggal di sekitar rumah peneliti di Desa Madello yang terpilih menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun mengalami peningkatan, yang dilihat dari adanya kenaikan dari nilai rata-rata sebelum permainan paper clay (sebesar 16,71) ke nilai rata-rata setelah permainan paper clay (sebesar 33,14) dengan peningkatan sebesar 16,43. Hasil temuan dapat dijadikan bahan edukasi bagi orangtua dan pendidik untuk menggunakan permainan paper clay dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk menstimulasi perkembangan motorik halus anak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in cognitive development before and after being given a game of snakes and ladders to group B students at RA Perwadina Tokka, Alehanue Village, Sinjai Regency. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study was group B which consisted of 21 children consisting of 12 girls and 9 boys. The sample in this study was 10 children consisting of 5 girls and 5 boys. This research instrument uses observation and documentation guidelines. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results showed that there was an increase in cognitive development in group B children in RA Perwanida Tokka as evidenced by the value after playing the Snakes and Ladders Game which was 21.1 higher before playing the Snakes and Ladders Game which was 13.9 with a difference of 7.2. It can be concluded that there is an increase in cognitive development through Snakes and Ladders Games for students. The research implies that the use of Snakes and Ladders Games can be used to improve cognitive development in students. Therefore this research can be used as a consideration and reference for the community, especially parents and educators at RA Perwanida Tokka, Alehanuae Village to improve cognitive development through the Snakes and Ladders Game.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan permainan tradisional jekka ka™daro dalam meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Lemosusu Kelurahan Limboro Kecamatan Limboro Kabupaten Polewali Mandar selama masa pandemi covid-19. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh atau sensus dengan populasi berjumlah 10 anak yang berusia 5-6 tahun yang bertempat tinggal di Lemosusu Kelurahan Limboro Kecamatan Limboro Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan nilai rata-rata perkembangan motorik kasar dari sebelum perlakuan (pre-test) ke setelah perlakuan (post-test) permainan tradisional jekka ka™daro yakni sebesar 28,8. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional jekka ka™daro dapat membantu meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Lemosusu Kelurahan Limboro Kecamatan Limboro Kabupaten Polewali Mandar selama masa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

Sincere behavior in children is a fundamental aspect of character development that will influence their attitudes and actions in the future. Therefore, early stimulation is crucial in instilling the value of sincerity. This descriptive quantitative study aims to foster sincere behavior through modern play methods based on illustrated paper media in children aged 5-6 years at Buah Hati Kindergarten, involving 17 children. The research instruments include illustrated paper media and observation sheets to assess the achievement of sincere behavior in children. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to broadcast the results of the treatment. The results showed that the average score of children's sincere behavior was 3.1, which means it is in the good category. This means using modern games based on illustrated paper media can encourage children to show a sincere attitude in the good category in interacting and doing activities. These findings indicate that a visual media-based play approach can be a recommended strategy in instilling sincere values, thus contributing to the formation of positive character in early childhood.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a STEAM practicum module in the Early Childhood Islamic Education study program. The type of research used in this study is research & development (R&D) to find new knowledge or develop a product. The product produced in this study is the STEAM practicum module. Data analysis uses quantitative techniques. The results of the study include a STEAM-based practicum module in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) which was developed through the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The conclusion of the development of thematic practicum modules in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) which was developed through the 4D model has succeeded in producing a valid practicum module.
