Abstract

Referring to the years of service of PT XYZ employees, most of them have worked for 14.1 years. This shows that employees have high loyalty to the company. However, specifically for 2021, there are fluctuating customer complaints, and the most increased complaints occurred in June and November. This is due to the high employee turnover, so knowledge about the company's operational processes is less controlled. Meanwhile, the recruitment of new employees begins in April, so they are still in the adjustment stage in June and November. Especially since the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been an increase in demand for spare parts. Thus, limited knowledge and high employee turnover will affect the frequency of customer complaints, especially regarding product quality. The level of employee loyalty and turnover is one indicator that shows the quality of these employees when working in a team. This descriptive study aims to provide an overview of the formation of a work team at PT XYZ using the OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument) approach or method. This activity is one of the stages of preparing the Balanced Scorecard as a strategic evaluation tool to measure the company's performance, especially from the perspective of growth and learning of the company's human resources. This study shows that the current dominant character with what employees expect is the same: a results-oriented company. However, the contemporary leadership style that employees expect is different, whereas the current leadership is more aggressive and focused on results. In contrast, what employees expect is leadership that is a mentor and facilitator who always provides guidance. The current condition of employees is also different from what is expected, where management is characterized by competitive, high-level, and results management, while what is expected is management characterized by teamwork, agreement/consensus, and participation. Different things are also found in the current company adhesive and what employees expect; where currently, the things that can unite the company are formal regulations and policies, while employees expect loyalty, commitment, and mutual trust as company glue. The emphasis of the company's current strategy on what employees expect is the same, namely emphasizing resilience and stability, efficiency and control, as well as smooth operation. The success criteria defined by the company today and what employees expect are the same, namely based on efficiency, reliable products and services, regular schedules, and low-cost production.

Abstract

Income is an important factor in a business activity. With a high income, the economic needs will be met properly. However, the difference in income in each farm is something that needs to be considered because the distribution of income is uneven. This study aims to analyze whether land area, farmer's age, education, capital, farming experience, selling price, fertilizer costs, seed costs, and labor affect the income of strawberry farmers in Serang Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency. This research includes quantitative research using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The sample used is a saturated sample (census) as many as 32 farmers. The data analysis technique use multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that (1) land area, capital, selling price, cost of seeds have a significant positive effect on strawberry farming income in Serang Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency; (2) labor has a significant negative effect on the income of strawberry farmers in Serang Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency; (3) farmer's age, education, farming experience, and fertilizer costs have no effect on the income of strawberry farmers in Serang Village, Karangreja District, Purbalingga Regency. However, this study has limitations such as (1) it consists of several types of strawberries so it is not specific to one type of strawberry. (2) there are differences in thoughts, assumptions and opinions expressed by respondents in answering the questionnaire. So that further research is needed for further research in order to maximize the results obtained. Keywords: Income, Farming, Strawberries, Produkction

Abstract

Pada awal tahun 2020, dunia telah digemparkan  dengan merebaknya sebuah virus yang berasal dari Wuhan, Tiongkok yang merupakan virus SARS-CoV 2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus 2) dimana penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus ini disebut dengan Covid-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019). Penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus biasanya bersifat ‘self limiting disease’ yang mengandalkan kekuatan tubuh, sehingga diperlukan sistem imun yang baik untuk mencegah terjadinya infeksi.  Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan sitem imun tubuh adalah mengkonsumsi makanan dengan antioksidan yang tinggi. Sebagai negara tropis, Indonesia memiliki 940 jenis tumbuhan berkhasiat obat yang sebagian besar digunakan secara turun menurun sebagai obat tradisional, salah satunya yaitu tumbuhan sungkai (Peronema canescens J).  Beberapa masyarakat daerah memanfaatkan daun sungkai sebagai obat demam, malaria, obat kumur pencegah sakit gigi, dan untuk menjaga kesehatan.Tujuan penelitian ini  adalah  untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder pada serbuk simplisia dan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol 96% daun sungkai dengan menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrihidrazil). Hasil penelitian  skrining fitokimia senyawa metabolit sekunder pada serbuk simplisia menunjukkan adanya kandungan alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, steroid dan triterpenoid. Uji antioksidan yang dibuat dengan variasi konsentrasi 10, 30, 50, dan 70 ppm menunjukkan hasil bahwa ekstrak etanol 96% daun sungkai memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 8,377 ppm.

Abstract

Introduction: Health promotion is more focused on maintaining and increasing the degree of well-being rather than returning health due to illness or accidents. The barrier is an obstacle or obstacle experienced by the pharmacist in carrying out health promotion, while self-efficacy, also known as self-confidence, is a good attitude that a person has when they are confident in their ability to form positive judgments about both themselves and their environment. Objective: The purpose of this study is to characterize the barriers to health promotion, as well as self-efficacy in doing so, and the relationship between the two. Methods: Using a cross-sectional design, this study's respondents were. After distributing questionnaires to 20 pharmacists, a purposive sample method was used to choose the participants. Results: In the Banjarbaru City FKTP, the majority of pharmacists—13 individuals, or 65%—have a high barrier to health promotion. Lack of time (70%) and the absence of uniform standards for pharmacists (65%) are major obstacles. The majority of pharmacists, or 12 individuals, also exhibit strong self-efficacy. When pharmacists who work at the Banjarbaru City FKTP promote health, there is a correlation between obstacles and self-efficacy. Conclusion: In order to undertake health promotion, there is a relationship between the barrier and self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of student discipline on learning achievement in fourth grade students of SD N Batursari 01 Mranggen in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This type of research is descriptive statistics. The population in this study were all fourth grade elementary school students, totaling 200 students. The research sample was selected by cluster sampling technique. The research data was collected using a questionnaire method given to 117 students from SD N Batursari 03 Mranggen, SD N Batursari 02 Mranggen, and SD N 01 Mranggen. The data obtained were tested using a simple regression test with the help of the SPSS for Windows version 16.0 . program The results of this study indicate that student discipline is classified as very high with an average of 79.38. The test results show that the student discipline variable has a significant effect on the student achievement variable, with the results of the calculation tcount = 2,513 meaning tcount > ttable (ttable = 1.9808). Thus, one of the reasons for the high and low learning achievement of students is the discipline of students by 52%, but it is also caused by other factors of 48%, both internal and external factors.

Abstract

Ketapang (Terminalia catappa Linn.) is a coastal tree with a fairly wide distribution area. The utilization of ketapang has not been carried out optimally. Ketapang is only used as a shade tree. For this reason, it is necessary to do a lot of research in exploring the various benefits of ketapang. One of the basic studies to determine the potential of ketapang is to estimate the transpiration of ketapang tree. The results of this study can be used as a basis for the use of ketapang as a tree that has the potential for sustainable environmental management. The purpose of this study was to determine the estimated transpiration of ketapang tree. This research is a qualitative survey research. This research uses purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study is ketapang tree that grows in the FKIP environment of Lancang Kuning University. The research data were analyzed by using the formula for the estimation of the amount of water from transpiration in one tree. The results showed that the estimated transpiration in ketapang tree averaged 17,330 ml within 24 hours. The ketapang tree has an important role in ecological functions, especially in maintaining the water cycle. It is necessary to conduct similar research on other tree species in order to obtain tree species that have the potential to be developed as trees with high ecological functions.

Abstract

Arabica coffee beans are one of the main varieties of coffee beans developed in Indonesia. In making decisions to determine quality Arabica coffee beans, an appropriate system is needed to analyze problems in solving and efficient and accurate data presentation. Therefore, a computer-based system or method is needed to facilitate the selection of the best Arabica coffee beans. This study uses the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. The SMART method is a decision-making method to solve the problem of choosing a multi-objective choice among several criteria, so that later it will be able to produce an effective and efficient analysis. The input criteria that are the priority in selecting the best Arabica coffee beans are aroma with a weight of 25, color with a weight of 25, taste with a weight of 25, dirt content with a weight of 15, and price with a weight of 10. Of the 25 alternatives tested in this system, Gayo Avatara Natural Arabica coffee beans were the best first alternative, followed by Aceh Gayo Wet Hull, Java Ijen Natural, Java Ijen Honey, and Kintamani Natural. This decision support system for selecting the best Arabica coffee beans provides speed, accuracy, and data accuracy in selecting the best Arabica coffee beans which will be used by coffee lovers to provide coffee with a delicious taste. So the results of the decision from 25 types of Arabica coffee, there are 11 types of Arabica coffee with a rating of "Very Good", 10 types of Arabica coffee with a rating of "Good", and 4 types of Arabica coffee with a rating of "Quite Good".

Abstract

This study specifically aims to describe the effectiveness of the Wattpad media in increasing reading interest in class XI students at SMK YPK Mabar Kec. Medan Deli. This research is a type of non-experimental quantitative research using the correlational method, namely research by assessing the relationship between two or more phenomena. The sample in this study was class XI SMK YPK Mabar as many as 20 students with simple random sampling technique. The instruments and techniques used to collect data in this study were non-test instruments consisting of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the overall score for the X variable (use of the Wattpad application) reaches 774 scores, while the Y variable (reading interest) reaches 869 scores. The correlation between the x variable and the y variable is 0.789 with a sufficient correlation interpretation because it is between 0.600 to 0.800. If rxy (calculated value) = 0.789 is significant by r table product moment with the number of N = 20 at a significant level of 5% = 0.444 and at a level of 1% = 0.561, it turns out that the value obtained through calculations is greater than rcount, namely 0.220 < 0.789 > 0.561. So it can be said that there is a significant relationship between the use of the Wattpad application on the reading interest of the YPK Mabar Vocational High School students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Hybrid Learning telah menjadi alternative dalam menghadapi kejenuhan berlajar pada musim pandemic yang telah menurun garfik penyebarannya. Namun tetap menjalankan kewaspadaan dan protocol kesehatan dalam penyebarannya. Sekolah yang menerapkan pembelajaran hybrid learning adalah SMA Budhi Luhur di kota Pekanbaru. SMA Budhi Luhur adalah salah satu sekolah tingkat Tas swasta adalah salah satu tempat lokasi mitra pengabdian dosen prodi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP UNILAK. Jarak lokasi dengan tempat tinggal tim pengabdi yang dekat dengan lokasi mitra menjadi dasar untuk pengabdian dilaksanakan pada lokasi tersebut. Mitra pengabdian tersebut mitra pengetahuan guru masih kurang dalam mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran hybrid learning yang diterapkan, khusunya identifikasi miskonsepsi siswa sebagai hasil belajar. Evaluasi belajar yang biasa dilakukan guru belum bisa mengungkap siswa yang paham konsep, tidak paham konsep atau miskonsepsi. Selain itu kurangnya pengetahuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital belajar untuk melakasanakan evaluasi hasil belajar.Oleh sebab itu guru merasa perlu untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi digital belajar google form untuk identifikasi miskonsepsi yang muncul dari hasil belajar hybrid learning. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh semua guru mata pelajaran yang berjumlah 9 orang. Pada tahap awal guru diperkenalkan dengan alat evaluasi google form, dengan melakukan presentasi materi. Kemudian guru melakukan pelatihan pendampingan pembuatan google form sebagai alat evaluasi belajar dan teknik CRI sebagai teknik identifikasi miskonsepsi. Kegiatan pendampingan memberikan pengetahuan guru dan keterampilan bagi guru untuk menggunakan teknologi digital berupa google form untuk identifikasi miskonsepsi dalam pembelajaran Hybrid Learning yang diterapkan sekolah. Diperoleh dari hasil evaluasi kegiatan bahwa guru mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan mengamalami penurunan tingkat miskonsepsi. Dengan demikian kegiatan ini dapat bermanfaat untuk meningkatakan kompetensi pendudkung bagi guru di SMA Budhi Luhur Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

One of the control techniques for the brown planthopper or BPH (Nilaparvata lugens Stal) is resistant varieties. This study aimed to determine the resistance level of several rice varieties (Oryza sativa Linnaeus) to the BPH of the Karawang Population. The study was located at the Entomology Laboratory, Center for Predicting Plant Pest Organisms (BBPOPT) Jatisari, Directorate General of Food Crops, Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia, from July to August 2022. The study was conducted in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with ten treatments and five replications. The treatment was in the form of different rice varieties (Pelita, Inpari-33, Inpari-47, Inpari-48, Ciherang, Cilamaya Muncul, Mapan, Situ Bagendit, M-400, IR-64). Parameters observed were spot area, spot area conversion, and determination of resistance. The results showed that the resistance of some of the tested rice varieties to BPH of the Karawang population was classified as moderate to moderately resistant. Inpari-47, Inpari-48, IR-64, M-400, Inpari-33, Cilamaya Muncul, and Situ Bagendit are moderately resistant, while Mapan, Ciherang, and Pelita have moderate resistance. The results of the honeydew test can be compared with other resistance test methods.
