Abstract

Traffic accidents kill nearly 1.2 million people worldwide and injure around 6 million people every year. The highest number of traffic accident victims based on age is in the productive age group, especially in the 16-30 year age range. One of the effective efforts to reduce the number of teenage deaths caused by traffic accidents is by using motorbike helmets. There is a lack of information and publicity efforts that it is very important to use a motorbike helmet, especially because head injuries are the quickest cause of death. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of health promotion regarding the risk of head injury on the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents in using motorbike helmets at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency. The design of this research is a pre-experimental one group pre-post test design. The sample studied was 25 people selected using purposive sampling technique. It is known that the average attitude before the intervention was 31.64 and after the intervention 33.16. From the statistical results on attitudes, the t value was 3.42 and P value = 0.002 < α (0.05). It was concluded that there was an influence of health promotion regarding the risk of head injury on teenagers' attitudes towards using motorbike helmets at SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency. Thus, it is hoped that health services and schools will further increase promotive efforts in publicizing safe riding to students. Keywords: Health Promotion, Attitude, Head Injuries, Motorcycle Helmets

The sample for the research was 140 students selected using the total sampling technique. Tests and questionnaires were used to get the data. This research utilized the Pearson Product Moment to examine the data and tested the hypothesis. The results were consulted in a t-table with a significance level of ?=5%, and the t-test method was applied. Findings from the eighth grade PFS indicated a relationship between students' reading anxiety and comprehension. Strong correlation (0.668) was found for SMPN 3 Bukittinggi. Based on the strong correlation threshold of 0.60-0.799, the researcher determined that rxy = 0.668 with N 138 was statistically significant. It indicates that whereas ha was accepted, ho was refused. When the research's mean, ho, was rejected and ha was approved, the Pearson product moment formula was used to compare it to the R-table. The results showed that rxy (0.668) > rtable (0.167). In summary, the findings indicated a favorable relationship between eighth-grade SMPN 3 Bukittinggi students' reading comprehension and their reading anxiety.

Abstract

This research is important because it sees the phenomenon that there are still many religious issues related to women's specific problems that have not been completely answered. Women's limited knowledge regarding women-specific issues leads to violations of Islamic teachings, both related to menstruation, junub, and household responsibilities. Balanced explanations and information regarding women's problems are often not obtained from male missionaries, and sometimes it even seems that there are subjective nuances that position women as objects of blame. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, research informants were congregations and active female preachers. Determining the informants using the next key informant using the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation studies and observation. This article explains that congregations need female missionaries to be able to discuss and share information regarding specific issues regarding women, the figure of a female missionary that the congregation wants includes having substantive competence and methodological competence. Female missionaries have quite high opportunities as evidenced by the community's enthusiastic acceptance of tabligh, while female missionaries face busy household duties, the place where tabligh is carried out is far from their domicile, and physical strength is not possible.

Abstract

The varying perspectives held by Indonesian society often lead to conflicts between religious groups, particularly when one group believes that safety and truth are exclusive to its membership. It is possible to address this issue by deeply studying Islam and adopting a moderation and tolerance mindset. The Islamic concept of moderation is known as rahmatan lil alamin. Islam's spiritual underpinnings ensure global peace, harmony, and fraternity among all peoples. A shallow understanding of religion causes people to act towards extremes, believing that they are right and others are wrong. The results of this research show that kalam science can be a means of contributing to a person's actions and behaviour in understanding and realising the sense of diversity that is khilafiah, and give birth to a moderate attitude so that Kalam Science can present a context and paradigm for religious moderation, and not be quick to place blame on others. This is because a person with a deeper understanding of religion (theology) is more knowledgeable of societal inequalities in both the religious and social domains.
