Abstract

This study describes the effect of learning styles on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students in Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The type of research used is field research with an ex post facto (survey) method, taking the research setting at Sokaraja Tengah Elementary School in Banyumas. The research sample used probability sampling with cluster sampling technique focused on 123 fourth-grade students. Data collection used a learning style questionnaire and critical thinking ability test. The data analysis technique used was Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric statistics because the data was not normally distributed. The Kruskal-Wallis result using a significance level of 0.05 and an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.004 < 0.05 indicates that there is a significant difference in critical thinking skills between students with different learning styles. Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of learning style on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students in mathematics in Sokaraja Tengah Village, Banyumas.

Abstract

Pembelajaran ibadah sholat bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) di kelas inklusi memerlukan metode yang adaptif dan aplikatif agar peserta didik mampu memahami serta mempraktikkan ibadah secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran ibadah sholat bagi ABK di kelas inklusi SMP Qaryah Thayyibah Purwokerto serta menganalisis keberhasilannya. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun proses analisis data dilaksanakan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi diterapkan secara bertahap sesuai jenjang kelas, mulai dari tahap pengenalan, pendalaman, hingga pembiasaan ibadah sholat. Pembelajaran didukung oleh penggunaan media visual, praktik langsung, serta buku penghubung sebagai sarana pemantauan pembiasaan sholat di rumah. Implementasi metode demonstrasi menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan ABK dalam praktik sholat berjamaah, kemampuan mengikuti urutan gerakan sholat, serta konsistensi pelaksanaan ibadah. Pembelajaran ibadah sholat melalui metode demonstrasi tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan keterampilan praktik, tetapi juga pada pembentukan kebiasaan dan sikap religius secara berkelanjutan dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif.

Abstract

Communities in Lampung province, Indonesia, are at the forefront of climate change impacts. Hence, this study aims to determine the climatic vulnerability of Lampung local communities. The study encompasses multifaceted aspects of climate exposure and its impact on the local communities of three resorts (Kuala Penet, Susukan Baru, Cabang). The analysis consists of examining historical climate patterns and how they correspond to the community's climate vulnerability. The analysis covers historical climate data from the period of 2004 to 2024, which includes the daily temperature (maximum, minimum, and average value) and daily precipitation. Furthermore, interviews and Focus Group Discsussions are conducted to obtain information from the communities. The data is then interpreted by using the DPSIR framework. It reveals that inland and coastal communities differ regarding these aspects: risk exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capabilities. When it comes to exposure, inland agricultural communities face risks from drought, soil degradation, and unpredictable rainfall. Meanwhile, coastal communities are affected by rising temperatures, rising sea levels, tidal floods, coastal erosion, and the depletion of fish stocks. Sensitivity is measured by means of livelihood, socioeconomic status, and access to healthcare. Marginalized groups, particularly the poor and elderly, face compounded risks due to limited healthcare access and displacement threats, with the most vulnerable being the coastal communities of Cabang Resort. Furthermore, when it comes to adaptive capabilities, both terrestrial and coastal communities in Lampung have very limited capacities to anticipate most of the climate change impacts. Strengthening climate resilience will require targeted interventions, including improvement of infrastructure, access to healthcare and disaster readiness programs.

Abstract

Background: Housing is a crucial aspect of broiler chicken farming, as comfortable housing conditions significantly impact livestock productivity and profitability. One widely used type of housing is the closed house housing system, designed to limit biological contact between the chickens and the external environment, thereby reducing stress. This housing system offers advantages such as controlled air circulation via automatic panels, protecting the chickens from extreme temperature changes outside the cage, increasing livestock productivity, reducing the risk of disease entry, and facilitating temperature and humidity regulation within the cage. Purpose: determine the production performance of broiler chickens in closed house cages at the Setiris Village farm, Maro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency. Methods: The study was conducted in a closed house in Setiris Village, Maro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, with a capacity of 21,000 Ross strain chickens. This study used an observational method with a farm performance recording approach, analyzed quantitatively and descriptively. The study was conducted based on direct observation of broiler production performance under actual field conditions without any special treatment. Results: Feed consumption increased with age, with an average of 971 g/bird/week, body weight gain reaching 600 g/bird/week, and an average feed conversion ratio (FCR) of 1.36, indicating optimal feed efficiency. The mortality rate was 2.2%, still within normal limits, and the Performance Index (PI) was 544.55, which is considered very good. Based on these results, the production performance of broiler chickens raised in closed-house cages is considered very good. Conclusion: These results indicate that the management of maintenance, feed, and closed house cage systems has been effective and supports optimal growth of broiler chickens in tropical climate conditions.

Abstract

Desa Menggala merupakan masyarakat tani dengan kepemilikan lahan yang tidak merata dengan topografi yang beragam. Sumber air khususnya untuk pertanian ada dari irigasi, dari sumber-sumber air diperbukitan dan air hujan. Oleh karena pada musim kemarau tidak banyak masyarakat tani melakukan usahatani padahal disekitar permukiman ada potensi air walaupun terbatas, maka untuk itu perlu diberikan bantuan pengetahuan tentang irigasi yang efisien untuk bisa memanfaatkan air yang terbatas pada musim kemarau. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan irigasi tetes kepada masyarakat di Desa Menggala terutama kelompok tani dan pemuda termasuk Mahasiswa yang KKN dilokasi ini. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan tahapan sosialisasi awal, persiapan materi penyuluhan, pelaksanaan penyuluhan dan evaluasi. Pengabdian ini telah berhasil memberi pengetahuan dan menyuluhkan 15 Peserta perwakilan kelompok tani, kelompok wanita tani, remaja masjid dan mahasiswa KKN Unram yang ada, penyuluhan telah memberi wawasan penggunaan irigasi tetes, peserta telah mengetahui jenis-jenis irigasi tetes ada serta manfaatnya dalam efisien air irigasi tanaman. Masyarakat tani sangat berharap ada kegiatan lanjutan di masa mendatang yang melakukan uji irigasi tetes di lahan masyarakat sebagai contoh.

Abstract

Chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) is a key proxy for assessing phytoplankton biomass and trophic status of coastal waters. This study analyzes spatiotemporal Chl-a dynamics across three Areas of Interest (AOIs) in the Mahakam Delta coastal waters, East Kalimantan, Indonesia: Delta Mahakam (DM), Muara Badak-Marangkayu (MB), and Muara Jawa-Samboja (MJ). Monthly Chl-a data from the Copernicus Marine Ocean Color V6 (CMEMS) product were processed through Google Earth Engine from 2014 to 2024. DM recorded the highest mean Chl-a (5.30 ± 1.02 mg/m³), followed by MJ (3.01 ± 0.83 mg/m³) and MB (1.76 ± 0.60 mg/m³). Under OECD classification, DM was dominantly mesotrophic, MB oligotrophic, and MJ showed the only statistically significant increasing trend (R² = 0.518, p = 0.013). Chl-a peaked during the rainy season (October–March), driven by monsoonal riverine nutrient pulses. HYCOM surface currents confirmed that monsoon reversals modulate coastal phytoplankton distribution. These findings provide baseline data for coastal ecosystem monitoring and marine spatial planning in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

This study investigates the paradox of traditional, NU-affiliated pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) that continue to use conventional banking services amidst the massive expansion of Islamic banking. Using Pierre Bourdieu’s sociological framework of practice, this article aims to deconstruct the social logic behind this choice, which is often dismissed as inconsistent. Through a qualitative case study method, this research finds that this choice is not an anomaly but a coherent "practical logic" (nalar praktis). This logic manifests in two simultaneous forms. First, a pragmatism driven by a habitus that prioritizes efficiency, community accommodation, and ease of access. This choice is also a rational adaptation to a banking arena dominated by conventional infrastructure. Second, a symbolic resistance emerging from a critical habitus that is skeptical of Islamic banks, often viewing them as "merely different in terminology". This resistance also serves as a strategy to protect symbolic capital (marwah, or dignity), which is legitimized by the flexibility of NU’s fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), which permits such transactions for the sake of public good (maslahah). In conclusion, this choice is a rational-social strategy, not an inconsistency. The implication is that Islamic banks must shift from label-based marketing to a relational approach built on trust.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level limbah udang terfermentasi dengan Probio – FM dalam ransum ternak sapi. Limbah udang terfermentasi dipergunakan sebagai pengganti konsentrat dengan level 0; 10; 20 and 30 % dari total konsentrat yang digunakan. Perbandingan hijauan dan konsentrat dalam ransum adalah 60:40. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati terdiri dari ransum masuk (nutrient feed intake) dan pertambahan bobot badan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap nutrient feed intake dan pertambahan bobot badan). Pemasukan tertinggi adalah 3.765 kg ekor-1 hari-1) dan pertambahan bobot badan (829.4 g ekor-1 hari-1) dapat dicapai dengan pemberian 10 % fermentasi limbah udang. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggantian 10% konsentrat dengan limbah udang terfermentasi memberikan produksi tertinggi terhadap zat makanan masuk dan pertambahan bobot badan ternak sapi Kata Kunci : limbah udang terfermentasi, sapi, masukan makanan feed intake), pertambahan bobot badan

Abstract

Asam organik adalah asam yang berasal dari bahan-bahan organik sehingga pemakaiannya relatif tidak berbahaya bagi ternak, pekerja kandang dan lingkungan sekitar. Suplementasi ransum dengan senyawa asam organik tidak hanya menurunkan pH saluran pencernaan tetapi juga berpengaruh positif terhadap kecernaan protein dan penurunan kadar bakteri pathogen.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi asam organik dalam ransum mengandung Bungkil Inti Sawit (BIS) terhadap konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein, protein efisiensi ratio (PER), dan retensi Nitrogen pada ayam broiler. Sebanyak 160 ekor DOC Strain Cobb digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah R0 (Ransum dasar), R1 (Ransum dasar + Asam Organik 0,5%, R2 (Ransum dasar + BIS 15%), R3 (Ransum + BIS 15% + Asam Organik 0,5 %). Peubah yang diamati yaitu konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein, PER dan retensi Nitrogen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam (ANOVA), jika berpengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Suplementasi asam organik dalam ransum yang mengandung BIS berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein, dan PER, tetapi tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap retensi nitrogen. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa suplementasi asam organik dalam ransum mengandung BIS mampu meningkatkan konsumsi ransum, konsumsi protein, dan PER namun belum mampu meningkatkan retensi Nitrogen
