Abstract

This research was conducted due to the fact that many futsal players at SMAN 4 Luwu still have inconsistent shooting accuracy. Therefore, this study focuses on target training aimed at improving the shooting accuracy of the futsal players at SMAN 4 Luwu. The researcher employed a quasi-experimental method. Data collection was carried out by administering pre-tests and post-tests. The population in this study consisted of 40 individuals, with a sample size of 20. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling and then divided into two groups: ten individuals trained using small goals, and ten using used tires.The research results show that the t-count value in experimental group 1 (used tires) is 0.035 and in experimental group 2 (small goals) is 0.017, both of which are higher than the 5% significance level (0.05), (0.035 > 0.05) & (0.017 > 0.05). Therefore, the accuracy of futsal goal shots by SMAN 4 Luwu players is influenced by training using small target goals and used tires. The mean score of experimental group 1 with small goals is higher than that of experimental group 2 with used tires (14.80 > 14.50). It can be concluded that for SMAN 4 Luwu futsal players, training with small goals is more effective than with used tires.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the impact of digital transformation on Accounting Information Systems (AIS) on the efficiency and accuracy of corporate financial reporting. The background to this study is the phenomenon that many medium-sized companies in Indonesia still face obstacles in implementing digital systems optimally. Using a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 125 respondents, consisting of accounting staff, finance managers, and IT staff directly involved in the reporting process. Data analysis was performed using SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results showed that digital transformation had a positive and significant effect on Mediasi (intervening) (path coefficient = 0.452) and reporting accuracy (path coefficient = 0.318). Furthermore, efficiency was also found to mediate the effect of digital transformation on reporting accuracy. These findings confirm the important role of digital transformation in improving the overall quality of financial information.

Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating the adsorption performance of regenerated molecular sieves repurposed as moisture adsorbents for compressed oxygen gas. The spent adsorbents are collected from a Phase Technology Freezing Point analyzer after saturation is achieved through repeated operational cycles. Two thermal regeneration methods are  investigated, namely (1) staged heating in a furnace at 350 °C for 2 hours followed by a 30-minute vacuum treatment, and (2) staged heating in a gas chromatography (GC) oven at 350 °C with a dry-nitrogen purge for an hour, followed by another 1 hour without purging and a 30-minute vacuum duration. Furthermore, the physical characteristics after regeneration are assessed using the UOP Method 422 for particle size distribution (PSD) through micromesh sieving. Moisture adsorption performance is evaluated according to ASTM D1142 using a dew-point measurement with compressed oxygen at operating pressures and flow rates of 30–50 psi and 0.5–1.0 L/min, respectively. The results indicate that regenerated molecular sieves retain approximately 80–90% of the adsorption capacity of new material, which demonstrates that the GC-oven regeneration method exhibits slightly superior performance compared to furnace regeneration. These finding prove that appropriate thermal regeneration enables effective reuse of spent molecular sieves, providing a technically viable and economically favorable strategy for moisture removal in oxygen-drying applications while reducing laboratory waste.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi saat ini sangat pesat, komputer alat yang dirancang untuk membantu dan mempermudah tugas manusia, juga terus mengalami perkembangan besar, baik dari sisi perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi ini mendorong berbagai perusahaan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kerja melalui sistem yang terkomputerisasi. PT. Semestaindo merupakan entitas yang bergerak di sektor barang konsumen, khususnya dalam penjualan produk makanan ringan seperti snack dan biskuit. Dalam kegiatan operasionalnya, proses pengelolaan inventaris gudang masih dilakukan secara manual, yang sering menyebabkan berbagai masalah, seperti ketidakcocokan data persediaan, keterlambatan dalam penyusunan laporan, dan rendahnya efisiensi kerja. Keadaan ini dapat berdampak langsung pada kelancaran operasional perusahaan serta proses pengambilan keputusan oleh manajemen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menerapkan sistem informasi pengelolaan inventaris gudang yang mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan stok barang. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD), karena metode ini menekankan pada kecepatan dalam proses pengembangan, keterlibatan aktif pengguna, serta fleksibilitas dalam menyesuaikan kebutuhan sistem. Tahapan penelitian meliputi perencanaan kebutuhan, desain sistem, pembangunan aplikasi, dan tahap implementasi. Sistem yang dikembangkan bersifat web-based dengan fitur utama seperti pengelolaan data produk, transaksi barang masuk dan keluar, pemantauan stok secara real-time, serta pelaporan persediaan secara otomatis. Hasil pengujian fungsional menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur pada sistem berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna yang telah ditentukan pada tahap Perencanaan Kebutuhan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan validasi pengguna selama tahap implementasi, sistem informasi pengelolaan persediaan yang dibangun dengan metode RAD membantu menjadikan pengelolaan stok gudang lebih terstruktur, mempermudah proses rekonsiliasi data, serta menyediakan informasi yang diperlukan dalam proses pengambilan keputusan manajerial.

Abstract

The Political Party Information System (SIPOL) application functions as a supporting tool to facilitate decision-making, ensure data organization, enable data collection, storage, distribution, and provide access to information. The involvement of Information Technology (IT) through the SIPOL Management Information System (MIS) in the verification process of political parties reflects the digitalization of electoral stages, producing adaptive and modern verification of party documents toward efficiency and effectiveness. The writing method employed combines a qualitative descriptive approach, based on experiences and observations during the 2024 General Election, with a quantitative descriptive statistical approach to determine the extent of SIPOL’s role in effectively and efficiently verifying political parties. The findings indicate that the SIPOL application plays a strong and dominant role in realizing organizational integration and coordination, knowledge and learning management, risk management and compliance, as well as supporting decision-making. Abstract

Local own-source revenue (PAD) represents a core component of regional fiscal capacity and an essential indicator of subnational fiscal sustainability. This study examines the potential, revenue structure, and performance of local taxes in strengthening the local fiscal capacity of Kotabaru Regency. The analysis is based on secondary data on local tax revenues for the 2020–2024 period obtained from the Regional Revenue Agency of Kotabaru Regency. The empirical approach combines an assessment of tax composition and sectoral contributions, an evaluation of revenue target achievement, and trend and medium-term projection analysis using a logarithmic specification. The findings reveal that the local tax revenue structure in Kotabaru Regency is highly concentrated in Street Lighting Tax, Non-Metal and Rock Mineral Tax, and the Land and Building Rights Acquisition Duty (BPHTB), indicating a strong sectoral dependence on energy and extractive activities. While aggregate tax performance appears relatively strong, with average realizations exceeding annual targets, considerable heterogeneity is observed across tax instruments. Service-based and locally embedded taxes exhibit comparatively weak performance, pointing to untapped local tax capacity. The logarithmic trend estimates suggest a deceleration in revenue growth, consistent with diminishing returns in mature tax bases. These results imply that future fiscal strengthening should prioritize potential-based revenue planning, administrative efficiency and compliance enhancement, and diversification of the local tax base to improve regional fiscal resilience.

Abstract

Doxorubicin is a corner-stone anthracycline chemotherapeutic whose clinical utility is constrained by dose-limiting nephrotoxicity, and no approved pharmacological prevention currently exists. Phyllanthus niruri L. (Family Phyllanthaceae) — locally known in Indonesia as meniran — is a phytotherapeutic herb whose constituents (phyllanthin, hypophyllanthin, quercetin, rutin, gallic acid, and corilagin) target oxidative-stress and inflammatory pathways implicated in doxorubicin renal injury. We applied a tiered translational design: (i) network-pharmacology discovery using SwissTargetPrediction, TCMSP, GeneCards, and OMIM intersected six P. niruri active compounds with 842 nephrotoxicity-associated genes, identifying six hub targets (TNF, IL6, NFKB1, CASP3, BAX, BCL2) and four enriched KEGG pathways (TNF signaling, MAPK, PI3K-Akt, Apoptosis); (ii) in vitro validation in HK-2 human proximal tubular cells exposed to doxorubicin (2 µM, 24 h) with or without standardised P. niruri 70% ethanolic extract (25, 50, 100 µg/mL); and (iii) in vivo validation in 48 male Sprague-Dawley rats (eight per arm) given a single intraperitoneal dose of doxorubicin (15 mg/kg) and oral P. niruri at 100, 200, or 400 mg/kg/day for 14 days. P. niruri produced a dose-dependent rescue of HK-2 viability (84.6% at 100 µg/mL versus 41.8% in doxorubicin-only controls; p < 0.001) and reduced serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, urinary KIM-1, and NGAL by 55–70% at the 400 mg/kg dose with concordant restoration of glutathione and superoxide dismutase. Network-pharmacology hub targets showed transcriptionally coherent modulation. The findings support standardised P. niruri ethanolic extract as a mechanism-anchored herbal candidate for adjunctive prevention of doxorubicin-induced kidney injury, warranting clinical translation.

Abstract

Introduction: Low-field MRI (LF-MRI) widens neuroimaging access in resource-limited settings but suffers low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), reduced resolution and artefacts. We developed and validated a deep-learning framework for image normalisation and noise reduction to elevate 0.35T brain MRI toward high-field quality, and tested whether it improves clinically significant lesion detection. Methods: In a multicentre retrospective diagnostic-accuracy study (STARD 2015), 450 adults underwent non-contrast 0.35T brain MRI (T1W, T2W, FLAIR) across three private tertiary centres in Palembang, Indonesia. Images were enhanced with a CycleGAN incorporating Vision-Transformer blocks. Three blinded neuroradiologists scored a 5-point Likert scale and recorded lesion presence; paired 1.5T MRI was the reference standard. Sensitivity, specificity, AUC and likelihood ratios were computed with 95% CIs; tests compared by McNemar and DeLong; agreement by Fleiss kappa. Results: AI enhancement improved all quality metrics (e.g., T1W PSNR 22.15 to 28.45 dB; SSIM 0.71 to 0.89; all p<0.001). For lesion detection, AI-enhanced LF-MRI achieved sensitivity 93.9% (95% CI 89.4–96.6), specificity 91.1% (87.1–94.0) and AUC 0.94 (0.91–0.97) versus 78.3%, 81.1% and 0.81 for original images (DeLong p<0.001; McNemar p<0.001). LR+ rose to 10.56 and LR− fell to 0.067. Inter-reader agreement was almost perfect (Fleiss kappa 0.78–0.85). Conclusion: A CycleGAN-with-transformer framework substantially improved objective quality and diagnostic performance of 0.35T brain MRI toward high-field standards with almost-perfect reader agreement. Pending prospective and external validation, AI enhancement is a low-cost route to more equitable neuroimaging.

Abstract

Introduction: Reliable preoperative discrimination of malignant from benign soft-tissue tumours (STTs) governs biopsy, surgical-margin and neoadjuvant decisions, yet conventional MRI interpretation is experience-dependent and biopsy is invasive and prone to sampling error. We aimed to develop and internally validate a machine-learning radiomics model from multiparametric MRI (mpMRI) for this task across multiple institutions. Methods: In this STARD 2015-compliant retrospective multi-institutional diagnostic-accuracy study, 215 patients (132 benign, 83 malignant) with histopathologically confirmed STTs imaged at three South Sumatran centres (2019–2023) were split 70:30 into training (n=150) and validation (n=65) cohorts. Radiomic features from T1W, T2W fat-suppressed and ADC maps underwent ICC-stability filtering and LASSO selection; SVM, Random Forest and XGBoost classifiers were compared against histopathology (reference standard) and blinded radiologist visual reads. Sensitivity, specificity, predictive values, likelihood ratios (95% CIs), ROC (DeLong), Cohen’s κ and multivariable logistic regression were computed. Results: A 14-feature signature was selected from 945 ICC-stable features. In internal validation, XGBoost achieved AUC 0.92 (95% CI 0.88–0.95), sensitivity 86.7% (70.3–94.7), specificity 91.4% (77.6–97.0), PPV 89.7%, NPV 88.9%, accuracy 89.2%, LR+ 10.1 and LR− 0.15. XGBoost exceeded SVM (AUC 0.84; DeLong p=0.012) and radiologist visual read (AUC 0.78; p<0.001; McNemar p=0.027). Inter-reader κ was 0.78 (0.63–0.94). The radiomics signature (adjusted OR 3.32, p<0.001) and lower ADC (OR 0.21, p<0.001) were independent malignancy predictors. Conclusion: An mpMRI XGBoost radiomics model provides accurate, non-invasive discrimination of malignant from benign STTs with high specificity and a clinically useful positive likelihood ratio, supporting its role as PACS-integrated decision support and as a triage tool in resource-variable settings.

Abstract

Background: Otomycosis is a superficial fungal infection of the external auditory canal that is disproportionately prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions, yet the comparative efficacy of topical agents in this climatic and mycological context has not been quantitatively synthesised. Objective: To compare complete-cure rates of topical antifungal and antiseptic agents for otomycosis using comparative studies from tropical and subtropical countries. Methods: Following a registered protocol (PROSPERO CRD420261456091) and PRISMA 2020, we identified comparative studies reporting complete cure or mycological eradication. Ten studies (1,970 ears; eight countries) were included. The pre-specified primary comparison, povidone-iodine versus clotrimazole, was pooled as a risk ratio (RR) using a random-effects model with the Hartung–Knapp–Sidik–Jonkman correction, a 95% prediction interval and a leave-one-out analysis. Risk of bias used RoB 2 and ROBINS-I; certainty used GRADE. Results: The random-effects pooled cure rate across 21 arms was 74.9% (95% CI 66.9–82.2; I² = 93%). For povidone-iodine versus clotrimazole (k = 4), the pooled RR was 0.86 (HKSJ 95% CI 0.53–1.39; prediction interval 0.29–2.58), indicating no significant difference while excluding neither agent's superiority. Between-study heterogeneity (I² = 79%) arose entirely from one non-randomised study; omitting it gave RR 0.95 (0.85–1.06) with I² = 0%. Certainty was low to very low. Conclusion: Topical azoles and low-cost antiseptics such as povidone-iodine achieve broadly similar, moderate cure rates for otomycosis in tropical settings, but the evidence is too imprecise to establish equivalence, and potential ototoxicity means agent choice should remain individualised.
