Abstract

This study is to determine the influence of leadership style, motivation, and career development on turnover intention of PT. X. The object of this research is the employees of PT X. Quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. Data collection was carried out in 2019 at PT X.A statistical analysis of the data used was a multiple linear regression test. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study was all 95 employees from various divisions at PT X. Sampling was carried out offline at PT X. The results of the study show that Leadership Style, Work Motivation, and Career Development have a negative and significant effect on Turnover Intention. The results of this study indicate that companies need to pay serious attention to the leadership practices implemented by managers or supervisors. An effective, communicative, and supportive leadership style can create a conducive work environment and increase employee engagement with the organization. Therefore, the management of PT X needs to develop a leadership training program that focuses on improving communication skills, employee empowerment, and team-oriented leadership. The results of this study contribute to the growing literature on turnover intention by confirming that a holistic approach, including leadership, psychological (motivational), and structural (career development) aspects, is more effective in explaining employee turnover intention than examining only one factor in isolation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of non-financial rewards on employee motivation using a Reflective-Formative Hierarchical Component Model (HCM) approach. Non-financial rewards have become increasingly important in modern human resource management as organizations recognize that financial compensation alone is insufficient to sustain long-term employee motivation. This research addresses a critical gap in the literature by conceptualizing non-financial rewards as a multidimensional higher-order construct comprising Recognition and Appreciation, Career Development Opportunity, Work Flexibility, and Supportive Work Environment. Data were collected from 162 active employees in Indonesia through an online self-administered questionnaire using purposive sampling. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with a Two-Stage Approach was employed to analyze the data. The results indicate that Non-Financial Rewards have a positive and significant influence on Employee Motivation (β = 0.611; t = 15.070; p = 0.000), with a large effect size (f² = 0.597). Recognition and Appreciation (weight = 0.601; p = 0.000) and Supportive Work Environment (weight = 0.338; p = 0.012) significantly contribute to the formation of Non-Financial Rewards, while Career Development Opportunity does not (weight = 0.246; p = 0.097). Work Flexibility was excluded from the model due to poor internal consistency (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.189). The model explains 37.4% of the variance in employee motivation (R² = 0.374) and demonstrates predictive relevance (Q²predict = 0.141–0.246). This study contributes to the Self-Determination Theory literature by empirically demonstrating how non-financial rewards collectively fulfill the basic psychological needs of autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The findings provide practical implications for organizations in designing effective non-financial reward systems.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction and their impact on customer loyalty toward the Uniqlo brand. The study is motivated by the increasingly competitive fashion industry, which requires companies not only to provide high-quality products but also to deliver superior services that enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty. This research employed a quantitative explanatory approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents using a consecutive sampling technique and analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis. The findings reveal that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (β = 0.633; p < 0.001), while service quality also has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.331; p = 0.001). Simultaneously, both variables explain 82.1% of the variance in customer satisfaction (R² = 0.821). Furthermore, customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (β = 0.815; p < 0.001), explaining 66.4% of the variance in customer loyalty (R² = 0.664). Customer satisfaction also mediates the relationship between product quality, service quality, and customer loyalty. The study concludes that strengthening customer loyalty requires companies to consistently maintain product and service quality in order to create customer satisfaction. Therefore, Uniqlo is recommended to strengthen product value communication, improve employees' product knowledge, and continuously enhance the overall shopping experience to sustain customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non-Performing Loans (NPL) on Return on Assets (ROA) in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the financial statements of banks that experienced losses during the 2022–2025 period. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique based on predetermined criteria, resulting in 20 observation samples. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS through descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has a positive and significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). The Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has a positive but insignificant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Meanwhile, Non-Performing Loans (NPL) have a negative and significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). These findings indicate that the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) can improve banking profitability, while a high level of non-performing loans reduces profitability. Therefore, banks are expected to implement Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their operational activities, particularly in credit analysis, to reduce the level of non-performing loans and improve financial performance.
