Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran PATRAFU (Papan Transformasi Fungsi) guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi transformasi fungsi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri atas tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian adalah 26 siswa kelas XI MA Fatahillah. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media PATRAFU memperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 100% dari ahli media dan 75% dari ahli materi, yang termasuk dalam kategori layak. Skor rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 93,73% menunjukkan bahwa media ini diterima dengan sangat baik. Pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat dari 26,06% (pretest) menjadi 70,34% (posttest). Hasil analisis gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,6 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Meskipun ketuntasan belajar klasikal belum sepenuhnya tercapai (hanya 73,08% siswa mencapai ketuntasan minimal sedang), penggunaan media PATRAFU menunjukkan potensi positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa secara visual dan interaktif. Media ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran khususnya pada materi transformasi fungsi.

Abstract

this research examines the students' first-hand experience with multicultural cross-cultural engagement at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL). This dissertation examines the value of such multicultural educative experiences for the students in relation to their English language skills acquisition. English language and culture learners achieve Communication Competence. This study adopted the qualitative case study approach, classroom adjacencies, and in-depth, one-on-one interviews with students and teachers for data collection. The study purposely sampled six students and cross multicultural engagement, intra, and extra school activities. Authentic experiences and reflections were the objectives of the study, and data was collected over one month. It has been shown that students who routinely partake in cross-cultural interaction have better English vocabulary, speaking fluency and overall confidence when using English in everyday scenarios. The participation of teachers was central in enriching these experiences by incorporating cultural elements of the lessons as well as promoting cooperative learning of students with different cultural backgrounds. The research provides evidence on the relevance of multicultural interfacing and its relation to cross cultural interaction in enhancing learners’ language proficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing ICT-based flipped learning on the improvement of students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that received ICT-based flipped learning treatment and a control group that participated in traditional learning. The research instruments included a HOTS test (pretest and posttest), a student perception questionnaire, and an observation sheet of learning activities. The findings revealed that the average HOTS score of the experimental group increased from 62.40 to 88.72, with a gain score of 70%, while the control group’s score increased from 61.90 to 75.72 with a gain score of 36.24%. An independent t-test indicated a significant difference between the two groups (p < 0.05), with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.85), demonstrating that ICT-based flipped learning effectively enhances students’ higher-order thinking skills. Furthermore, the questionnaire results showed a highly positive student perception with an average score of 85.14% (categorized as excellent), where 89% of students reported being more active and independent, and 87% stated that they found it easier to understand the material through videos and the LMS. Observational data also indicated high learning participation, with an average score of 4.30 out of 5, reflecting improved activeness, collaboration, and learning readiness. Overall, ICT-based flipped learning was proven effective not only in improving cognitive learning outcomes (HOTS) but also in fostering students’ activeness, independence, and collaboration—key competencies of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

The present inquiry investigates the Petik Laut ritual, a foundational tradition of local wisdom among the coastal communities of Probolinggo, East Java. This ceremony, which expresses gratitude for marine abundance and maritime safety, reflects a profound ecological and spiritual nexus between the community and the sea. This article seeks to explore the ecopedagogical values embedded in the ritual and its strategic relevance to ecological education and climate resilience. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach with an ethnographic method, the investigation gathered data through participant observation and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and local fishermen. The findings reveal that Petik Laut serves as a vital informal educational medium, fostering ecological awareness through sea-cleaning initiatives and environmentally conscious Larung Sesaji (offering) practices. Furthermore, the ritual strengthens social solidarity and environmental ethics, while climate adaptation is manifested through the traditional scheduling of ceremonies based on seasonal weather patterns. The current analysis concludes that preserving Petik Laut provides a robust foundation for culture-based ecological education, offering a localized model for strengthening adaptive resilience against contemporary environmental challenge

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of culturally responsive STEM learning integrated with an ethnomathematics approach to enhance students’ computational thinking skills. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method and was conducted at SMA Zainul Hasan Genggong, involving 30 tenth-grade students (class X-A) and one mathematics teacher. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. The findings indicate that incorporating local cultural elements such as Madurese batik motifs, bamboo weaving, and traditional culinary units created meaningful and contextual learning experiences. Students showed clear progress in key components of computational thinking, including breaking down cultural tasks into smaller mathematical components, identifying geometric and symmetrical patterns in cultural artefacts, and developing structured steps to address practical problems. Both teachers and students responded positively, highlighting increased engagement, motivation, and collaboration during group projects. The teacher reported that students became more active, creative, and critical, while students expressed that learning felt more relevant and enjoyable. Word Cloud visualisation revealed dominant keywords such as culture, mathematics, patterns, symmetry, problem-solving, and collaboration, reflecting the strong connection between cultural contexts and STEM education. Bibliometric analysis further confirmed the interrelation between STEM, computational thinking, and contextual learning. These findings suggest that culturally rooted STEM learning not only enhances conceptual mastery but also fosters systematic, reflective, and creative thinking, positioning it as an effective strategy for addressing the challenges of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Perkembangan artificial intelligence (AI), khususnya teknologi AI auto-chat seperti ChatGPT, telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pola pembelajaran mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi, termasuk pada mata kuliah akuntansi. Kehadiran AI auto-chat memberikan kemudahan akses informasi, bantuan penyelesaian tugas, serta efisiensi waktu belajar. Namun, di sisi lain, pemanfaatan AI yang tidak terkontrol berpotensi menurunkan kualitas pembelajaran, terutama apabila mahasiswa menjadi terlalu bergantung pada teknologi tersebut dan mengurangi proses berpikir kritis serta pemahaman konseptual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi kemudahan (perceived ease of use) dan persepsi kemanfaatan (perceived usefulness) penggunaan AI auto-chat terhadap penurunan kualitas pembelajaran akuntansi pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei eksplanatori. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan skala Likert lima poin kepada sekitar 60 mahasiswa yang telah menggunakan AI auto-chat dalam kegiatan pembelajaran akuntansi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi kemanfaatan penggunaan AI auto-chat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penurunan kualitas pembelajaran akuntansi. Selain itu, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan AI auto-chat juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap penurunan kualitas pembelajaran. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin mudah dan bermanfaat AI auto-chat dirasakan oleh mahasiswa, semakin besar kecenderungan terjadinya ketergantungan dalam proses belajar, yang dapat berdampak pada menurunnya kualitas pemahaman dan keterlibatan akademik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan AI auto-chat secara pedagogis dan etis oleh institusi pendidikan dan dosen agar teknologi ini dapat mendukung pembelajaran tanpa mengurangi kualitas akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the industrial world demands that accounting students possess dual competencies in the form of sharp analytical skills and technological mastery. However, the reality of education shows that the integration of practical learning with software proficiency is often suboptimal. This study aims to empirically analyze the effect of hands-on practice methods and mastery of accounting computer software on students' analytical skills in the digital era. Using a quantitative approach with a survey design, data were collected from 65 accounting students through purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that partially, the hands-on practice method had no significant effect on analytical skills (p=0.128; t=1.543), while mastery of accounting software proved to have a positive and significant effect (p=0.001; t=3.502). However, simultaneously, both variables had a significant effect (F=18.846; p=0.000). The main conclusion of this study confirms that in the modern educational ecosystem, technological mastery is a more dominant determinant factor than manual practice in improving analytical skills. Therefore, a curriculum reorientation that integrates software-based case simulations is necessary to produce adaptive accountants. ABSTRAK Transformasi digital dalam dunia industri menuntut mahasiswa akuntansi untuk memiliki kompetensi ganda berupa keterampilan analitis yang tajam dan penguasaan teknologi, namun realitas pendidikan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pembelajaran praktik dengan kemahiran perangkat lunak sering kali belum berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh metode praktik langsung dan penguasaan software komputer akuntansi terhadap keterampilan analisis mahasiswa di era digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei, data dikumpulkan dari 65 mahasiswa akuntansi melalui teknik purposive sampling dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan temuan bahwa secara parsial, metode praktik langsung tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan analisis (p=0,128; t=1,543), sedangkan penguasaan software akuntansi terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan (p=0,001; t=3,502). Kendati demikian, secara simultan kedua variabel memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan (F=18,846; p=0,000). Simpulan utama studi ini menegaskan bahwa dalam ekosistem pendidikan modern, penguasaan teknologi menjadi faktor determinan yang lebih dominan dibandingkan praktik manual dalam meningkatkan daya analisis, sehingga diperlukan reorientasi kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan simulasi kasus berbasis software untuk mencetak akuntan yang adaptif.

Abstract

Student academic achievement is an important indicator of educational success, which is influenced by various factors. This study aims to analyze and examine three internal factors, namely time management, learning style, and learning motivation, on the Grade Point Average (GPA) of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jakarta State University. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 66 respondents selected using simple random sampling. Primary data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The analysis results produced a significant model and were able to explain 57.6% of the variation in GPA (Adj.R²: 0.576). Time management was the most dominant predictor of GPA (=0.429), followed by learning motivation (= 0.370), so that both had a positive and significant effect on student GPA. Meanwhile, learning style with a value of (=-0.039) did not contribute positively to GPA. This indicates that the better the time management and the higher the learning motivation of students, the higher their GPA will be. ABSTRAK Prestasi akademik mahasiswa merupakan indikator penting dalam keberhasilan pendidikan, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menguji tiga faktor internal yaitu manajemen waktu, gaya belajar, dan motivasi belajar terhadap Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 66 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert dan dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis menghasilkan model yang signifikan dan mampu menjelaskan 57.6% variasi IPK (Adj.R²: 0.576). Manajemen waktu merupakan prediktor IPK paling dominan (=0.429) disusul dengan motivasi belajar sebesar (= 0.370), sehingga keduanya berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap IPK mahasiswa. Sedangkan gaya belajar dengan nilai (=-0.039) tidak memberi kontribusi positif terhadap IPK. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin baik pengelolaan waktu, serta semakin tinggi motivasi belajar mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula IPK yang diperoleh.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) di sekolah dasar umumnya masih berfokus pada tes tertulis dan tugas proyek sehingga kurang memberikan ruang bagi keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model evaluasi berbasis game digital Wordwall jenis anagram sebagai alternatif evaluasi yang lebih interaktif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap tokoh-tokoh Pandawa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Pegandon Kendal dengan subjek 56 siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan proses dan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran SBdP, dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen evaluasi berupa lima item anagram yang dikerjakan secara individu melalui perangkat digital berupa telepon pintar dengan menggunakan platform Wordwall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperkuat memori siswa terhadap nama tokoh Pandawa, serta menghasilkan performa pengerjaan yang cepat dan akurat pada sebagian besar siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa game digital berbasis anagram Wordwall dapat menjadi alternatif evaluasi yang efektif dalam pembelajaran SBdP, khususnya pada materi budaya dan pewayangan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative learning evaluation model through the use of an educational game called Unjumble in an online learning context. Preliminary observations and interviews indicated that the evaluation methods previously used were predominantly conventional and lacked student engagement. To address this issue, Unjumble was designed and implemented within a Project Based Learning (PjBL) framework, where students completed evaluation tasks as part of a structured learning project. The study involved 34 junior high school students at SMP N 1 Pengadegan and employed a descriptive quantitative approach. The effectiveness of Unjumble was examined in terms of efficiency and practicality, which were measured through task completion time, student performance scores, and questionnaire responses from students and teachers. The findings indicate that Unjumble can support more interactive and manageable online evaluation activities, although the results are limited by the small sample size and the absence of a control group. This study suggests that game based evaluation tools integrated with PjBL have potential to support the goals of the independent curriculum, particularly in promoting creative and engaging assessment practices, while acknowledging the need for further large scale and comparative studies.
