Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji masalah proses pendidikan seni rupa di lingkungan pesantren, pembelajaran menggambar ilustrasi di Madrasah Aliyah Futuhiyyah 2 Mranggen Demak, dan siswa kelas XII IPA 2. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut. Pertama, pembelajaran seni rupa di lingkungan pesantren yang terfokus pada pembelajaran menggambar ilustrasi di Madrasah Aliyah Futuhiyyah 2 Mranggen Demak dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang dilaksanakan oleh guru bukan bidang kompetensinya. Kedua, pembelajaran tersebut menghasilkan 29 karya gambar ilustrasi, karya-karya gambar ilustrasi secara simbolis mengekspresikan kondisi lingkungan pesantren dengan dilandasi adanya nilai-nilai lingkungan pesantren yaitu: Pendalaman ilmu-ilmu agama, mondok, kepatuhan, keteladanan, kesalehan, kemandirian, kedisiplinan, kesederhanaan, toleransi, qana’ah, rendah hati, ketabahan, kesetiakawanan/tolong menolong, ketulusan, istiqomah, kemasyarakatan, dan kebersihan. Ketiga, ke 29 karya tersebut dianalisis menunjukkan adanya representasi nilai-nilai kepesantrenan. Pada pembelajaran ini guru menggunakan kurikulum 2013 tetapi proses pembelajarannya di landasi dengan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dikemukakan saran sebagai berikut. Pertama hendaknya sekolah menyediakan guru seni budaya yang sesuai dengan kompetensi dan kebutuhannya. Kedua, hendaknya guru menambah referensi media pembelajaran agar siswa tidak kesulitan dalam mengembangkan ide berkarya serta siswa lebih termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Ketiga, hendaknya sekolah memiliki ruang ketrampilan dan ruang pamer untuk menampilkan hasil karya siswa.

Abstract

The fine art market in Indonesia is experiencing a positive development, although it is still relatively small compared to developed countries. This increase is supported by the growing number of art exhibitions, art galleries, and museums in Indonesia, as well as the high public interest in fine art. Technology and social media have also played an important role in introducing Indonesian art to the international world, opening up more opportunities for Indonesian artists to be recognized more widely. However, there are a number of challenges faced in the development of the art market in Indonesia. One of the challenges is the lack of support from the government in developing art infrastructure. In addition, there is still a lack of public awareness of the importance of art and there are still many copyright violations in the art industry. The utilization of public spaces can create unique opportunities for artists to reach a wider audience, engage with communities more closely, and promote creativity and cultural diversity in public spaces. This exhibition managerial training activity uses participatory methods, provision of adequate resources, and appropriate utilization of information and communication technology. The aim is to strengthen community participation, improve access to and utilization of available resources, and have a significant and sustainable impact on the communities served. The training has improved artists' understanding of how to maximize art displays, and some booths have seen an increase in sales. This article notes that the training has positive potential on the art market manager, artists, and the community that participated in the training, as well as enriching the repertoire of fine arts in the area.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan sejak dini bagi siswa sekolah dasar sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap implementasi Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8, yakni “Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi”. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Cipining, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten, dengan melibatkan 30 siswa kelas VI sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif melalui ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi digital, dan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman literasi digital siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 58,7 dan posttest 83,2. Tingkat partisipasi dan antusiasme peserta juga sangat tinggi. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi literasi digital dan kewirausahaan dapat dilakukan secara aplikatif di tingkat sekolah dasar, serta mendukung pencapaian target SDGs 8 dalam konteks pendidikan dasar. Program ini direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan pendampingan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Lopang (Gymnopetalum cochinchinense) is a herbaceous plant traditionally consumed as a vegetable by communities in Riau Province, Indonesia. However, DNA barcode sequence data for this species remain limited. These findings underscore the importance of analyzing DNA barcode sequences of matK and trnL-trnF intergenic spacer (IGS) lopang from Riau. This study highlights the analysis of DNA barcode sequences matK and trnl-trnf intergenic spacer (IGS) in lopang from Riau province. This study applies sampling, DNA extraction, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), electrophoresis, sequencing, and bioinformatics data analysis using BioEdit 7, BLASTn (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool) to find sequence similarities with the GenBank database, Management and analyzed DNA sequences with MESQUITE, Multiple alignments using ClustalW and MEGA11 to create dendrograms. Fresh leaves were collected from Rokan Hulu Regency in Riau Province. The results showed that matK and trnL-trnF IGS DNA sequences of lopang measured 752 bp and 410 bp, respectively. BLASTn analysis revealed that lopang has 99.73% similarity with G. chinense based on the matK sequence and 99.76% similarity based on the trnL-trnF IGS sequence. The analysis revealed a variation of 13 nucleotides, 1 critical nucleotide and no indels in the matK sequence, while in the trnL-trnF IGS sequence there were 19 nucleotide variations, 1 critical nucleotides and 5 indels. As a final point, lopang from Riau is closely related to G. chinense. The findings of this research contribute to the molecular identification of this species and benefit science, such as providing an understanding of plant evolution, species identification, genetic analysis, and the development of molecular markers in the Cucurbitaceae family.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran PATRAFU (Papan Transformasi Fungsi) guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi transformasi fungsi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri atas tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian adalah 26 siswa kelas XI MA Fatahillah. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media PATRAFU memperoleh persentase kelayakan sebesar 100% dari ahli media dan 75% dari ahli materi, yang termasuk dalam kategori layak. Skor rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 93,73% menunjukkan bahwa media ini diterima dengan sangat baik. Pemahaman konsep siswa meningkat dari 26,06% (pretest) menjadi 70,34% (posttest). Hasil analisis gain ternormalisasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,6 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Meskipun ketuntasan belajar klasikal belum sepenuhnya tercapai (hanya 73,08% siswa mencapai ketuntasan minimal sedang), penggunaan media PATRAFU menunjukkan potensi positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa secara visual dan interaktif. Media ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran khususnya pada materi transformasi fungsi.

Abstract

this research examines the students' first-hand experience with multicultural cross-cultural engagement at Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur (SIKL). This dissertation examines the value of such multicultural educative experiences for the students in relation to their English language skills acquisition. English language and culture learners achieve Communication Competence. This study adopted the qualitative case study approach, classroom adjacencies, and in-depth, one-on-one interviews with students and teachers for data collection. The study purposely sampled six students and cross multicultural engagement, intra, and extra school activities. Authentic experiences and reflections were the objectives of the study, and data was collected over one month. It has been shown that students who routinely partake in cross-cultural interaction have better English vocabulary, speaking fluency and overall confidence when using English in everyday scenarios. The participation of teachers was central in enriching these experiences by incorporating cultural elements of the lessons as well as promoting cooperative learning of students with different cultural backgrounds. The research provides evidence on the relevance of multicultural interfacing and its relation to cross cultural interaction in enhancing learners’ language proficiency.

Abstract

The discussion this time is about guidance in Islamic education for children with special needs for the disabled. This needs to be discussed because every individual is obliged and has the right to get education, especially education related to Islam. The method used by the library is with a qualitative approach, we collect several literature studies by taking the form of books, scientific articles and theses as basic research materials. The role and characteristics and learning model must be applied, adjusted to the needs and curriculum of each educational institution, with the role of Islamic education in guiding students with special needs, that is, through Islamic education, efforts are made to instill Islamic values in order to prepare a generation of noble character. Characteristics of children with special needs for hearing impairment include not being able to properly define mental health and normal behavior, not being able to measure their own emotions and behavior and experiencing difficulties in carrying out socialization functions so that a relevant guidance model is needed to deal with these conditions. Therefore education is an absolute right for anyone, children with hearing impairments must also be given the same education as children in general, even though with different methods. These are the uses and benefits of SBL institutions that are able to provide services for disabled children.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing ICT-based flipped learning on the improvement of students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The research employed a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that received ICT-based flipped learning treatment and a control group that participated in traditional learning. The research instruments included a HOTS test (pretest and posttest), a student perception questionnaire, and an observation sheet of learning activities. The findings revealed that the average HOTS score of the experimental group increased from 62.40 to 88.72, with a gain score of 70%, while the control group’s score increased from 61.90 to 75.72 with a gain score of 36.24%. An independent t-test indicated a significant difference between the two groups (p < 0.05), with a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.85), demonstrating that ICT-based flipped learning effectively enhances students’ higher-order thinking skills. Furthermore, the questionnaire results showed a highly positive student perception with an average score of 85.14% (categorized as excellent), where 89% of students reported being more active and independent, and 87% stated that they found it easier to understand the material through videos and the LMS. Observational data also indicated high learning participation, with an average score of 4.30 out of 5, reflecting improved activeness, collaboration, and learning readiness. Overall, ICT-based flipped learning was proven effective not only in improving cognitive learning outcomes (HOTS) but also in fostering students’ activeness, independence, and collaboration—key competencies of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

Scabies is an infectious skin disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei infestation that is often found in vulnerable populations such as the elderly. In the elderly, clinical manifestations are often atypical and do not follow classic predilection patterns, which can cause delays in diagnosis and therapy. A 69-year-old woman presented with chronic itching of the perianal area since the last two months accompanied by skin thickening and rough surface. Physical examination showed papules confluent into erythematous plaques with lichenification in the perianal region. KOH skin scraping examination confirmed the presence of Sarcoptes scabiei mites. The patient was diagnosed with scabies with chronic lichen simplex due to repeated scratching. Therapy was given in the form of 5% permethrin cream, oral antihistamines (cetirizine), and topical corticosteroids to reduce inflammation, along with hygiene education and simultaneous treatment of family members. Scabies in the elderly may show atypical predilections, including the buttocks, face, or scalp areas. Decreased cellular immunity, physiological skin changes and comorbid factors influence susceptibility and clinical manifestations. Late diagnosis risks increasing the parasite burden and triggering complications. This case emphasizes the importance of clinical vigilance against atypical manifestations of scabies in the elderly. Early diagnosis, laboratory confirmation, and comprehensive management including patient and family education play an important role in preventing complications and recurrences

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan media game quiz sebagai alat evaluasi pembelajaran seni batik digital di SMP Negeri 4 Nganjuk. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan guru seni rupa dan siswa sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game quiz mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, memotivasi mereka untuk memahami materi, serta menyediakan alat evaluasi yang interaktif dan efisien. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan implementasi meliputi ketersediaan infrastruktur teknologi, kompetensi guru, dan antusiasme siswa. Namun, beberapa hambatan juga ditemukan, seperti kendala teknis, kesenjangan digital, dan keterbatasan waktu persiapan. Penelitian ini mendukung teori konstruktivisme dan teori teknologi pendidikan dengan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi, khususnya game quiz, dapat meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran seni rupa di era digital. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan infrastruktur, pelatihan guru, dan pengembangan media game quiz untuk berbagai mata pelajaran
