Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of learning for children with special needs during the COVID-19 pandemic at SLB Pembina Palembang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of online learning carried out at SLB Pembina Palembang took the form of assignments, WA groups, use of zoom, alternate schools, home visits, and development of worksheets. A number of obstacles are felt by teachers and students when implementing online learning including parents cannot be actively involved, inadequate facilities, limited teachers, limited learning resources, and low student motivation

Abstract

The role of education condemned to prepare people who are competitive and free of corruption. The purpose of this study describes the implementation of the religious character education program in MI, the result of the implementation of religious character education program in MI, and the inhibitory factor and supporting factors for the application of religious character education in MI. This study used a qualitative approach. The results of his research, 1) program conducted by Madrasah is, prayer kalicesadyj in Congregation, BTA, Tahfidz Qur'an, habituation of discipline, honest, responsibilities and posters anti-corruption, 2) results in terms of behavior fostering confidence, honest attitude, dare to perform, able to cooperate well, have social responsibility and care. 3) Self-supporting and social factors, constraints in the implementation of internal and external. Solution of the obstacles faced is the solution, establish good communication between the school with the parents, evaluate every program that has been done by involving teachers and parents/guardians, socializing the parents/guardians about the implementation of religious character education activities to be supported also when at home, in order to be carried out with maximum.

Abstract

Related to the government's efforts to implement the Education Policy Environment, namely by launching the Adiwiyata Program for schools, then MIN 1 and MIN 2 Palembang make Adiwiyata a target to measure efforts made by the school in achieving its mission as a cultured school living environment. This is because through the adiwiyata program there are clear indicators can be used to measure the efforts made, besides also getting used to The school properly documents all activities and programs held. Qualitative research approach with multi-site research types. The technique of collecting data is by observation, interviews and documentation. While. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, presentation and conclusion. The research results are: 1) Adiwiyata value at MIN 1 Palembang Example and MIN 2 Palembang model, namely respect for nature, responsibility, compassion and concern for nature, Gratitude, and Brotherhood among fellow Muslims. 2) The cultivation of adiwiyata values in the learning of MI Islamic Education is carried out in a way learning in class through material Fiqh, Akhah Akhlak, Qurdits, and SKI. The learning uses the method of direct application and also through the media infoccus. This makes it easier for teachers to instill adiwiyata values on PAI MI learning. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors for planting adiwiyata values in PAI learning. The supporting factor is the principal's policy requires the teacher to provide insight and advice about the environment, the existence of work the same as outside parties in optimizing the adiwiyata program, coordination and loyal collaboration between the employee, teacher, student and second stakeholder of the MIN. The inhibiting factors are infrastructure and funding.

Abstract

Theoretically, one of the dominant factors that influence the development of individual character are environmental factors which is a condition that allows the process of personal character development. Creating an conducive environment to the development of character Grikusumo Salaf Islamic School students is done by creating a tradition /habituation practical in everyday life in all their daily activities in relation to the quality of their religious or otherwise. Attempt the formation of character through this Salaf Islamic school in addition to the above character education can also be done simultaneously through the educational value of the following steps. First, apply a “modeling” or “exemplary” or “uswah hasanah”. Second, efforts to explain or clarify to students constantly about the value of good and evil has been done in the Girikusumo Salaf Islamic School. Third, implementing the SIS is based on character education. Character education is an important tool in the formation of student character. In practical guidance and counseling services in the schooling setting, character education is implemented through two ways, first directly through the services of guidance and counseling provided to students/ counselees, which are grouped into four components: (1) the component of basic service, (2) the component of responsive service, (3) the component of individual planning service, and (4) the components of the system support service. Loads of character education materials written in guidance and counseling services that include the areas of personal guidance, social guidance, learning guidance, career guidance, and character development. Second, indirectly, by example attitude and behavior of guidance and counseling teachers/counselors along with the cultivation of creative cultural, innovative, productive, collaborative, discipline, sense of belonging, and responsibility.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The influence of big book media on the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Hijriah III Palembang". This type of research is a quantitative Experimental Design One Group Pre-test Post-test (one class). The research sample used in this study was group B1 in Tk Hijriah III Palembang, totaling 10 children, namely 5 boys and 5 girls. The sampling technique was carried out using Simple Random Sampling or the children were called one by one to the front of the class to retell the story. The data collection method uses observation tests and documentation with data analysis using normality tests and homogeneity tests. The results of the study and discussion of the average pre-test score that did not use treatment was 51, while the typical post-test score utilizing the big book or treatment media was 79. There was an effect when not using the media and after using the big book media. The results obtained by testing the hypothesis using the T-test obtained 16.667 with a significant level of 5% so that it can be 2,262. Because = 16,667 > = 2,262. So the conclusion is that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the media on the speaking ability of children at Hijriah III Kindergarten in Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of YouTube media, the inhibiting and supporting factors, and their impact on students in thematic learning at fourth-grade at State Elementary School (SDN) 35 Prabumulih. This research method is mixed method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires which tested validity and reliability. Qualitative data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Quantitaive data is analyzed in the frequency distribution table. The results showed that the implementation of YouTube media in thematic learning at fourth-grade SDN 35 Prabumulih was carried out through preparation activities, presentation of material, questions and answers about videos that were displayed, and follow-up. The supporting factors are, YouTube easier for students to learn, a strong and stable signal, and the facilities and infrastructure presented by the school. While the inhibiting factors are the internet signal which is sometimes unstable, the availability of facilities and infrastructure is still limited and not functioning properly, and the extravagant of internet data usage. The use of YouTube media in thematic learning has a positive impact on the student learning process because it can offer a varied and fun learning atmosphere, and stipulate a better conceptual understanding related to knowledge (cognitive); remembering, conceiving, and applying.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of using video media on thematic learning outcomes in grade III elementary school and of course in the future it can be useful for various parties because the current curriculum is very demanding on the skills and abilities of educators because it improves the quality and quality of current education. This is the main focus of the government's attention. For this reason, using video media is one of the efforts to improve student learning outcomes whether later it is good for use in elementary schools and especially in grade III elementary schools. The research method used by the researcher is quantitative research with the help of SPSS 22. The results show that thematic learning outcomes in class III increase after using video learning media, which means that there is an effect of using video media on teaching and learning activities or thematic learning outcomes in class III, especially in SDIT Fathona Palembang and of course in the future can be applied.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media on student morale. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The subjects in this study were homeroom teachers of class V and students of class V. The approach used was a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the study are that at the State School Zero Empat Payaraman the use of social media is not exempt, because the impact of the use of social media in the school environment greatly affects all aspects, both aspects of achievement and enthusiasm for learning. With the use of social media in the school environment, students are only busy or focused on smartphones. The use of social media, of course, has a lot of impact on its users, both positive and negative impacts. There are many positive impacts of social media when it comes to children's education, one of which is that children can learn how to adapt, socialize with the public and manage friendship networks in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the management of the Adiwiyata program at the Al-Furqon Integrated Islamic Elementary School Palembang, 2) describe the improvement of the environmental care character of the students of the Al-Furqon Integrated Islamic Elementary School Palembang. This research is a qualitative research. The informants in this study were the Principal, Deputy Principal for Curriculum, Head of the Adiwiyata Team, teachers and students. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques and sources. Data analysis uses an interactive model that starts from data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that: 1) The management of the Adiwiyata program at SDIT Al-Furqon Palembang has been implemented well. The planning function is carried out by setting goals, formulating current conditions, identifying conveniences and obstacles, and developing plans. The organizing function is carried out by referring to plans and goals, determining the main tasks, dividing tasks to individuals, and allocating resources. The implementation function is carried out by implementing the four Adiwiyata components, namely environmentally friendly policies, environmentally friendly curriculum, participatory-based environmental activities and management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities. The supervisory function is carried out by setting standards, comparing implementation with standards and determining deviations and taking corrective actions. 2) Increasing the character of environmental care in students at SDIT Al-FurqonPalembang is seen through the attitude of students in preventing environmental damage, as well as repairing natural damage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the impact of using gadgets towards the character of students, especially elementary school students in the era of the covid 19 pandemic. The formation of this character can be shown by students to become better individuals. Elementary school age children are more vulnerable to being able to imitate what is seen in the digital world. Online learning through gadgets in the era of the covid-19 pandemic is one of the methods used by the government so that education and learning in Indonesia can be carried out. Students in everyday life always rely on gadgets. The use of gadgets during online learning has an impact, both positive and negative. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Based on the results of the study, the positive impacts of using gadgets are creative, independent, curious, and communicative friendly. The negative impacts include dishonesty, lack of discipline, lack of care, lack of responsibility, lack of religion, and unwillingness to work hard.
