Abstract

Land is a place that is usually used to build a foundation or building that supports all the loads of the structure or construction that stands on it, both building construction and road construction. If it is used for roads, it is important to check the soil so that the road construction that is built can last a long time. In some areas, the soil needs to be researched because the soil conditions in the area contain a lot of clay so it is necessary to check the shear strength of the soil. To increase the shear strength of the soil, it is necessary to conduct research using several methods, including using pensi shell ash as an additional material. The pencil material used is passed filter no. 200, with the percentage of pensi shell ash in the soil content of 0%, 6%, 8% and 10%. The tests carried out consisted of testing the physical properties and mechanical properties of the soil. Testing of the physical properties of the soil includes the sieve no. 200 test, the specific gravity (gs) test, the Atterberg limit test. Meanwhile, testing of mechanical properties includes soil density, optimum moisture content, cohesion and internal shear angle. The results showed that the addition of pensi shell ash to the original soil with a treatment period of 3 days, the addition of 6% pensi shell ash had a cohesion value (c) of 13.12 kN/m² and a shear angle of 5.46⁰, and for the addition of 8% pensi shell ash, the cohesion value (c) is 27.05 kN/m² and the shear angle is 1.66⁰ and for the addition of 10% pensi shell ash, the cohesion value (c) is 12.5 kN/m² and the shear angle is 8.66⁰. The highest value for shear strength was obtained at the addition of 10% pensi shell ash. Keywords: Clay, Pensi shell ash, inner shear angle.

Abstract

The aim of this scoping review is to provide an overview of scoping reviews in the literature on the topic of fluid science education through bibliometric analysis. The data search was carried out based on the Scopus database, then limitations were carried out based on certain criteria to obtain 146 documents. Publications on this topic have increased, especially in 2019-2023*. Then the author with the most citations was published in an international journal indexed by Scopus with quartile 1. Based on visualization using VOSviewer, 4 clusters were obtained and based on research in the last 2 years, both static and dynamic fluids are often associated with teachers, senior high schools, teaching, student learning, online learning. This research is the basis for further research related to the topic of fluids in science education. For example, fluid topics are rarely studied at the university level.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze research trends related to the topic of Gamification from 2019 to 2023* through bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database. Based on the criteria, 56 articles were obtained from 326 documents. These articles have been translated from international journals indexed by Scopus. The selection references were then managed using reference management software, namely Mendeley. After working on the database, this research classifies and visualizes it using VOSviewer software. The results indicate that Gamification research is gradually increasing every year. The United States, China and Japan contribute the most research globally. Visualizing gamification research trends for 2019-2023* reveal six clusters. The results of this research can support researchers regarding Gamification research trends worldwide and provide direction for further research. Overall, these reflections provide an excellent reference point for further research on Gamification.

Abstract

Motorbikes are an alternative transportation for the majority of lower middle class Indonesians, because motorbikes have affordable prices, low maintenance costs, and are fuel efficient. The increasingly rapid use of motorbikes also increases the speed of criminal acts, namely motorbike theft, because apart from user error, the built-in security system of motorbikes can still be hacked, which can trigger theft. To overcome this, a security system was added with tools that can monitor and control remotely. This system utilizes RFID to recognize registered IDs. To turn it on, you can only use the ID that has been registered. Then the ESP 32 which is connected to Mifi is the brain that processes the motorbike and will send notifications and locations using the GPS module to the user via telegram. If the ID used is not registered and you tap 3 times/the motorbike is indicated to be stolen, a danger notification will be sent to the user via telegram. Users can also send commands back to the motorbike remotely via telegram. The results of this research show that the efficient RFID distance is 1-3 cm because there is no error (0%), and GPS accuracy has an average error of 3.3 meters, as well as suitability for use of the Telegram application.

Abstract

This study aims: To find out, analyze, discuss and explain financial performance appraisal using the Economic Value Added method for food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period. This research uses a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The samples used were six food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Calculation results of Economic Value Added for food and beverage companies, there are three companies that produce Economic Value Added or (EVA > 0) during 2020 to 2022, it is stated positive, meaning that there has been additional economic value for the company so that financial performance is declared good. used is secondary data obtained from www.idnfinancial.co.id. The data analysis method used in this study is the panel regression model. Data processing uses the SPSS 22 application. From this study, the results show that the Economic Value Adeed Method has a positive effect on the company's financial performance.

Abstract

One of the causes of students' low conceptual understanding is the lack of instructional materials with a composition that aids students in understanding concepts independently or during classroom learning. The aim of this research is to produce a character-based learning module, particularly emphasizing the virtues of honesty, valuing others' opinions, and caring, through a valid, practical, and effective generative learning model to enhance students' conceptual understanding. This study follows a research and development approach. The development design employs the ADDIE model, tested with 29 eleventh-grade science students at SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Data collection involved validation sheets for the learning module, observations of lesson plan implementation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The data were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show: (1) the developed character-based learning module with an average score of 2.9 is declared valid, (2) the module, assessed through lesson plan implementation and student response questionnaires, is considered practical, and (3) the developed character-based learning module is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding, yielding an N-gain of 0.65 categorized as moderate, with a noticeable difference in students' character achievement before and after the learning process. In conclusion, this study affirms that the character-based learning module with a generative learning model is deemed suitable for enhancing students' conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Low science process skills contribute to a lack of learner autonomy among students. This research aims to develop teaching materials on elasticity and Hooke's law oriented towards learner autonomy to enhance science process skills suitable for the learning process. The study follows the ADDIE development model (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). The research subjects were 32 students from class XI MPA 1 at SMA Negeri 6 Banjarmasin. Data were collected through validation sheets, observation sheets on the implementation of lesson plans, observation sheets on science process skills, and learning outcome tests. Quantitative data analysis methods were employed. The results indicate that: 1) the teaching materials are highly valid according to validator assessments, 2) the materials are highly practical based on lesson plan implementation, 3) the effectiveness of the teaching materials is moderate, and 4) students' science process skills are categorized as good based on student activity sheets. In conclusion, learner-autonomy-oriented teaching materials are suitable for training science process skills in the topics of elasticity and Hooke's law.

Abstract

Information Technology Integration in the physics learning process has not happened optimally. Therefore, a study was conducted, which aims to describe the feasibility of physics teaching materials based on blended-learning with Schoology in subject matter impulses and momentum. This research is research and development using the ADDIE model. The trial subjects in this study were 28 students of class XI in one of the Vocational Schools in the city of Banjarmasin. The instruments used were media validation sheets, lesson plan implementation sheets, and learning outcome tests. Data is then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the study state that the learning materials developed 1) was valid, sourced from the results of the validation sheet, 2) was practical, based on the lesson plan implementation sheet, and 3) was effective in improving learning outcomes, seen from the results of the N-gain test. It can be concluded that physics teaching materials based on blended learning with Schoology that are developed are feasible to use in subject matter impulses and momentum. Teaching materials integrated with Schoology can be used as an alternative learning solution to improve the quality of blended learning.

Abstract

The development of electronic teaching materials continues to be carried out, so that there are many articles that examine this matter. Comprehensive information regarding its development is carried out by reviewing electronic teaching materials research documents using bibliometric analysis. Data mining was carried out on May 1, 2023 by searching the Scopus database using the keywords "electronic AND teaching AND materials" OR "electronic AND learning AND materials with the term "science AND education" OR "science AND learning". The software used are VOSviewer and Microsoft Office Excel. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the authors with the most citations were Al-Azzam, N.; Elsalem, L.; Friday, A.A.; Obeidat, N. One of the most productive affiliates is Jordan University of Science and Technology, which comes from the most productive country, namely the United States. In addition, the most productive publication is BMC Medical Education with Q1 category. Trends in the development of electronic teaching materials are associated with Covid-19, social media, games, major clinical studies, software, adults, problem solving, PBL in 2020 – now.

Abstract

The study aims to describe the validity and practicality of E-MET. This research is research and development with the ADDIE model. The E-MET validator for this e-module consists of two people, consisting of academics and practising experts. The validation results using the E-MET validation sheet show that the validity of the e-module on renewable energy material has good criteria. The practicality of the developed E-MET is reviewed based on benefits, usability, and time efficiency as measured through a student response questionnaire. Then the study results show that the practicality of e-modules on renewable energy materials has good criteria. The research was conducted in class XI SMAN 3 Kota Ternate. Therefore, E-MET can be used for physics learning on renewable energy materials.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas dan kepraktisan E-MET. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE. Validator E-MET ini e-modul berjumlah dua orang, terdiri dari ahli akademisi dan ahli praktisi. Hasil validasi menggunakan lembar validasi E-MET menunjukkan bahwa validitas e-modul pada materi energi terbarukan memiliki kriteria baik. Kepraktisan E-MET yang dikembangkan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek manfaat, kegunaan, dan efisiensi waktu yang diukur melalui angket respon peserta didik. Kemudian hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepraktisan e-modul pada materi energi terbarukan memiliki kriteria baik. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI SMAN 3 Kota Ternate. Oleh karena itu, E-MET dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran fisika pada materi energi terbarukan.
