Abstract

In addition to marketing products through social media and having an entrepreneurial spirit, sellers or students or entrepreneurs must choose a business that is contemporary and can compete in the social media market such as the Es Jellygar (Fresh Jelly) beverage product business. This research aims to train the spirit of entrepreneurship among students in developing and marketing Ice Jellygar beverage products. This research is an R&D research, the development model used is the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The data analysis method used in this study was carried out through product acceptance tests on consumers. The result of this research is the development of Es Jellygar beverage products, which go through four stages of development: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The Define stage focuses on finding reference recipes, the Design Stage creates prototypes or product designs, the Develop Stage involves evaluation by experts and prototype testing, and the Disseminate Stage is about introducing products to the public through exhibitions and consumer testing. Marketing products through social media and having an entrepreneurial spirit, sellers or students or entrepreneurs must choose businesses that are contemporary and can compete in the social media market such as the Es Jellygar (Fresh Jelly) beverage product business.  So it can be concluded that this business can be an opportunity for entrepreneurs or students as an easy side business, and can compete in the sales field.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media which can improve student learning achievement in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering subject and describe the effectiveness of developing Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media in improving student learning achievement in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering subject. In this research, R&D (Research and Development) design was used with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were class XI students majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering at Rejang Lebong State Vocational School. The data collection technique used is qualitative, namely collecting data by conducting observations, questionnaires and quantitatively by collecting pretest data before learning takes place and post-test after learning using learning media. Data analysis used average values and t-test. The validation instrument for material and media experts in research is the Likert scale. The results of the scale trial carried out on 60 students, consisting of 30 students (XI TITL2) in the control class and 30 students (XI TITL1) in the experimental class at SMKN 1 Rejang Lebong with the results of the post-test t test analysis showing sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, meaning the sig (2-tailed) is smaller than <0.05, meaning there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. The conclusions of this research are: (1) The Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media developed is suitable for improving student learning achievement in the class XI Electrical Power Installation Engineering subject. (2) Development of Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media is effective in improving student learning achievement.

Abstract

The study aims to ascertain three things: (1) the difference in learning achievement in history between students using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model and students using the Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model; (2) the impact of high and low discipline on learning achievement; and (3) the possibility of an interaction between cooperative learning models and discipline on history learning achievement. This study employed experimental research as its research methodology. The 2023–2024 academic year saw the conducting of this study at SMAN 11 North Bengkulu and SMAN 13 North Bengkulu. The XI social studies classes made up the study's population. Two groups were chosen at random to serve as research samples: one was the treatment group, which I taught using Jigsaw-style instruction, and the other used Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) instruction. This study employed a 2x2 factorial ANOVA research design. The application of Jigsaw and Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) has an impact on student learning achievement. High and low discipline have an impact on history learning achievement. Cooperative learning models and discipline have an impact on history learning achievement. These are the study's findings.

Abstract

Current development requires lecturers to improve their abilities and skills in using technology in learning. Skills improvement can be done, including through training activities. This activity aims to train Lecturers of the Nutrition Department of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau in conducting project-based class management using Trello. The activity was carried out in July 2023 at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau with a total of 15 workshop participants who were Lecturers from the Nutrition Department, Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with 4 answer choices. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Analysis of the participants' response to the trainingrelated to the training activities that have been carried outseen from the data obtained which is processed into the form of a percentage. Percentages are obtained based on modified Likert Scale calculations. The results showed that 100% of the training participants were categorized as strongly agreeing with the statements which represented a positive response to the workshop activities. So, it can be concluded that all participants considered this workshop positive and from this workshop the Lecturer of the Department of Nutrition at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Riau gained a better understanding of how and what Lecturers should do in managing project-based classes using trello.

Abstract

The initial observation results indicate that students are less active in the learning process and easily give up when faced with tasks deemed difficult. This study aims to describe the feasibility of physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR), describe students' responses and describe students' learning motivation after the implementation of physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR). This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model. Sampling was done using purposive sampling techniques consisting of students from the Eleventh-grade science 3 class at Public High School 7 in Kota Bengkulu. The instruments used were observation sheets, teacher interview sheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest and posttest student learning motivation questionnaires, with data collection techniques including interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data were analyzed using quantitative data analysis. The research results show that the feasibility test criteria for physics e-books were obtained with a very good category. Students also responded very well to the developed physics e-books. Based on the analysis of student learning motivation questionnaires using the Gain value, it was found that students experienced an increase in learning motivation after using the developed physics e-books. Therefore, it can be concluded that physics e-books aided by flipbooks and augmented reality (AR) are highly suitable for use as learning media and can enhance students' learning motivation, especially in dynamic fluid materials

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is located in three rings of active plates and surrounded by various active mountains that make Indonesia prone to earthquakes. When the earthquake occurred, there were still many people who were late in getting information to carry out the early evacuation process. This research aims to provide solutions to people who are late in receiving earthquake information by developing a microcontroller-based earthquake early warning system alarm with MPU6050 accelerometer sensors and NodeMCU ESP8266 to minimize possible losses. This research uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model, to develop an Arduino uno-based earthquake alarm from previous research. This research uses a literature study system for analysis of earthquake problems when an earthquake occurs. The results of this study are in the form of a tool equipped with an Arduino Uno microcontroller system, where the earthquake warning system is run according to the system design. The tools developed were validated by three expert lecturers using validation questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively to determine the feasibility of Arduino-based earthquake early warning tools using the Likert scale. Based on the average results of validation tests by experts, 91% of earthquake early warning tools developed are in the very decent category. Based on the trials carried out, the tool can provide warnings to the public directly
