Abstract

This research aims to describe the characteristics of the learning module by using the Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model with the aid of Augmented Reality on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium, to describe the feasibility of the learning module using the Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model with the aid of Augmented Reality on the dynamics material rotation and equilibrium of rigid bodies and describe students' perceptions of the readability of learning modules using the Augmented Reality-assisted Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model on the material of rotational dynamics and rigid body equilibrium. This research method is a Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D development method modified into 3D, namely define, design and development. The resulting product is a printed learning module using the Self Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model assisted by Augmented Reality video playback made using the Unity 3D application. This module aims to train high school students critical thinking skills. The data samples used in this study were physics teachers and class XI students from three schools. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, review sheets of learning implementation plan documents, the teacher needs questionnaires, student needs questionnaires, expert team validation questionnaires, and student perceptions questionnaires. Assessment of the validation test questionnaire and students' perceptions were interpreted with a Likert scale. Product validation was carried out by 3 expert validators who were reviewed from 6 aspects, namely content, presentation, critical thinking indicators, language, SOLE model stages, and media. The results obtained from this study indicate that the developed module is included in the very decent category with an average score percentage of 85.96% and students' perceptions of the developed module are in the very good category with an average score percentage of 90.01%.

Abstract

The problem that students often face in their learning is a misunderstanding in studying physics. The reason is because educators only teach physics abstractly through the classroom, without laboratory experiments (practice) or the use of other media aids, such as using ICT-based learning media. The research method used by researchers is research and development (R&D). R&D is a research model for the purpose of producing products and product feasibility tests. This research was conducted through five different stages of the ADDIE development model. Development, implementation and evaluation are not carried out because the purpose of this study is only to develop modules. This module is not directly applicable to classroom learning. The population used in the study was 153 students and 4 physics teachers from 3 high schools in Bengkulu City. The results of the needs analysis are valid and reliable, teachers and students of 3 high schools in Bengkulu City strongly agree with the development of E-modules for parabolic motion materials.

Abstract

The results of interviews with several students and show that there are still many students who have difficulty in understanding concepts in dynamic fluids. Therefore, researchers conduct research that aims to develop digital teaching materials, namely e-modules using the Canva application on the subject of dynamic fluids. This research was carried out using the Research & Development method. The design validity stage involves 3 subjects (two expert judges and one practitioner) involved to assess the feasibility of the material, the design of e-modules, the feasibility of Indonesian language and the feasibility of good and correct media. Feasibility assessment by experts using validation sheets. The trial phase involved 102 students from three schools, namely SMAN 4 Kota Bengkulu, SMAN 5 Kota Bengkulu, and SMAN 9 Kota Bengkulu. Assessment of the attractiveness of the e-module using descriptive analysis assisted by Microsoft Office Excel 2007. The results showed that the feasibility score by the three experts with an average percentage in the content aspect was 92.70%, in the presentation aspect of 91.67%, in the aspect of 98.33, in the media aspect of 97.91%. The response of students with an average percentage of SMAN 4 Bengkulu City 82.22% is in the very good category, SMAN 5 Bengkulu City with an average percentage of 85.01% is in the very good category, SMAN 7 Bengkulu City with an average percentage of 89.65% is in the very good category. So it can be concluded that the e-module using the Canva application produced in this study is considered suitable for use in dynamic fluid learning.

The scope of this research is all classes. The type of research is Research and Development approach with the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection used lifting, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is by using quantitative descriptive techniques using a Likert scale to describe trends. The research results show that at the analysis stage, learning media that is interesting, interactive, inspiring, fun, challenging, and encouraging independent learning is needed. At the design stage, Android-based AR media was created. In the development stage, media expert assessment is given very feasible criteria. Criteria subject matter expert is very worthy. Practicality tests by teachers as media users show efficient criteria. Limited scale trials obtained significant differences between the control class (quite independent) and the experimental class (independent) with student responses, strongly agreeing. In the implementation stage, significant differences were obtained between the control class (independent) and the experimental class (very independent) with student responses, strongly agreeing. The evaluation stage ensures that the media is suitable and effective for use. The conclusion is that the developed Android-based augmented reality (AR) media can increase learning independence, is suitable for use, practical in use, and effective in increasing the learning independence of class XI vocational school students in Rejang Lebong district.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media which can improve student learning achievement in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering subject and describe the effectiveness of developing Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media in improving student learning achievement in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering subject. In this research, R&D (Research and Development) design was used with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were class XI students majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering at Rejang Lebong State Vocational School. The data collection technique used is qualitative, namely collecting data by conducting observations, questionnaires and quantitatively by collecting pretest data before learning takes place and post-test after learning using learning media. Data analysis used average values and t-test. The validation instrument for material and media experts in research is the Likert scale. The results of the scale trial carried out on 60 students, consisting of 30 students (XI TITL2) in the control class and 30 students (XI TITL1) in the experimental class at SMKN 1 Rejang Lebong with the results of the post-test t test analysis showing sig (2-tailed) is 0.000, meaning the sig (2-tailed) is smaller than <0.05, meaning there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. The conclusions of this research are: (1) The Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media developed is suitable for improving student learning achievement in the class XI Electrical Power Installation Engineering subject. (2) Development of Electrical Control Techniques Simulator-based learning media is effective in improving student learning achievement.

Abstract

This activity aims to train lecturers in managing TPACK-based learning through the PEKERTI (Basic Instruction Technique Skills Improvement) Batch 2 2023 program. The activity was carried out in March 2023 at Bengkulu University, with a total of 39 participants in the training who were lecturers from different tertiary institutions. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with 4 answer choices. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. PEKERTI participant response analysisrelated to training activitiescarried out on the data obtained in the form of a percentage. Percentages are obtained based on modified Likert Scale calculations. The results showed that more than 50% of the respondents were in the Strongly Agree category based on the guidelines in table 4 of the Likert scale interpretation. As for the disagree and strongly agree categories, the number is 0 respondents. This means that the respondents who were the sample in this study only gave answers that strongly agreed and agreed to the 19 positive statements submitted in the questionnaire developed with reference to PEKERTI batch 2 activities in 2023 at the University of Bengkulu. So, it can be concluded that the TPACK-based learning management training in Pekerti Batch 2 at the University of Bengkulu received a positive response from the participants.
