Abstract

This study aims to examine the promotional strategies implemented through social media content on Instagram @evodis.aroma to enhance consumer purchase interest. Beyond this, the research seeks to identify the range and diversity of content types used by the @evodis.aroma Instagram account to attract its audience and drive engagement. By employing a descriptive qualitative research method, utilizing in-depth interviews as a primary data collection technique, this study offers a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the promotional tactics and content strategies deployed. The findings of this research reveal that Instagram @evodis.aroma utilizes a targeted promotional approach, strategically crafted to boost consumer interest and purchasing intent. This strategy is manifested through a variety of key elements and structured phases in the account’s content management, such as visually appealing posts, interactive stories, and informative product highlights. The analysis process of the strategy used by Instagram @evodis.aroma is conducted using the AIDA model (Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action) as the main guideline.

Abstract

This study examines the scope of communication in conflict management within the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Vocational School at IPB University. Conflicts often arise in student organizations due to differing perspectives and work priorities. Effective organizational communication is essential for maintaining stability and achieving common goals. This study aims to analyze the organizational communication flow and communication strategies used by BEM SV IPB in conflict management. A qualitative method was employed, with data gathered through in-depth interviews with informants who are members of BEM SV IPB. The findings indicate that the Vocational School’s Student Executive Board at IPB University uses an open communication approach involving various structural levels in conflict management, from departmental/office daily board members to the general chairperson of BEM SV IPB. This approach allows conflicts to be resolved at the lowest level first, thus maintaining organizational effectiveness and strengthening the role of field coordinators. The organizational communication strategies implemented by BEM SV IPB in conflict management include regular meetings, formal and informal communication, as well as evaluations or feedback. This strategy is effective in easing tensions, maintaining relationships, and fostering a collaborative organizational communication culture. This study provides guidance and benefits for other student organizations in conflict management to enhance cooperation within the organization or group.

Abstract

AbstractPublic communication is the process of delivering information to the public directly or using the media carried out by individuals, organizations, and institutions. The Bogor Regency DPRD has a legislative function that regulates the life of the community and the state. This function is closely related to Public Information Disclosure (KIP) which must be considered by public relations staff. Information dissemination is carried out to achieve good governance in serving the community. This research analyzes the public relations communication strategy on the use of new media in the Bogor Regency DPRD. The subject was chosen because the Bogor Regency DPRD carries out its duties as a public body. The research theory uses Suprapto's communication strategy theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to describe the experiences and perspectives of the interview results. The results showed that Suprapto's communication strategy theory had not been fully implemented in information dissemination. The missing aspects are not determining specific target audiences, compiling messages that can be published and should not be published, limited use of new media, informative message methods, and mechanical and sociological barriers.Keywords: Communication Strategy, Public Relations, New Media   AbstraksiKomunikasi publik merupakan proses penyampaian informasi kepada publik secara langsung maupun menggunakan media yang dilakukan oleh individu, organisasi, maupun lembaga. DPRD Kabupaten Bogor memiliki fungsi legislasi yang mengatur kehidupan masyarakat dan negara. Fungsi tersebut berkaitan erat dengan Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (KIP) yang harus diperhatikan oleh staf humas. Penyebaran informasi dilakukan untuk mencapai good governement dalam melayani masyarakat. Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi komunikasi humas pada penggunaan new media di DPRD Kabupaten Bogor. Subjek dipilih karena DPRD Kabupaten Bogor menjalankan tugasnya sebagai badan publik. Teori penelitian menggunakan teori strategi komunikasi Suprapto. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman dan perspektif hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan belum sepenuhnya teori strategi komunikasi Suptapto diimplementasikan dalam penyebaran informasi. Aspek yang tidak ada tersebut yaitu tidak menentukan target khalayak spesifik, menyusun pesan yang boleh dipublikasikan dan tidak boleh dipublikasikan, penggunaan new media yang terbatas, metode pesan informatif, serta  hambatan mekanis dan sosiologis.Kata Kunci: Strategi Komunikasi, Hubungan Masyarakat, Media Baru

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of the Sulang-Sulang Pahompu culture in the film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap through John Fiske’s semiotic approach. The film is significant as it presents the life of the Batak community, rich with traditional values and unique kinship relations. Sulang-Sulang Pahompu, a traditional ritual that emphasizes respect for ancestors and family unity, is depicted through various visual and narrative elements within the film. This research applies Fiske's semiotic analysis method, focusing on three primary codes: social, technical, and ideological, to understand how this ritual is represented and interpreted within the Batak cultural context. The findings reveal that Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap successfully represents Batak cultural symbols by portraying intergenerational conflicts that balance modernization with reverence for ancestral traditions. The film serves not only as entertainment but also as an educational tool that introduces and reinforces Batak cultural identity, encouraging viewers to appreciate and understand local culture. The implications of this study show that film, as a popular medium, can play a significant role in preserving and introducing traditional culture to a broader audience in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi pembuatan konten yang diterapkan oleh akun Instagram @Amorphotoworks dalam mempertahankan konsistensi dan kualitas branding di industri fotografi dan videografi pernikahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis jenis konten video yang diproduksi serta strategi yang digunakan untuk menjaga konsistensi branding dan meningkatkan kepuasan konsumen. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pemilik dan tim media sosial serta observasi langsung pada akun Instagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Amorphotoworks menerapkan beberapa strategi utama: penggunaan teknik sinematik yang konsisten, riset audiens yang rutin,perencanaan konten bulanan, dan evaluasi performa untuk beradaptasi dengan tren tanpa mengorbankan identitas merek. Selain itu, proses pembuatan konten mengikuti arahan dan kualitas kontrol yang terstruktur untuk memastikan keselarasan dengan nilai-nilai merek. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman strategi konten di Instagram untuk penguatan konsistensi branding, dan memiliki implikasi bagi bisnis yangingin mempertahankan citra branding visual secara optimal di saluran digital.

Abstract

The development of information technology has presented challenges for non-profit organizations such as Youth Ranger Indonesia (YRI) in information dissemination activities, especially for its target audience, namely youth. As an organization that focuses on youth empowerment, YRI requires an effective communication strategy to reach the audience and ensure that the message delivered can be received properly and correctly. This study aims to determine the media and communication strategies used by YRI Public Relations (PR). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with primary data obtained from in-depth interviews with YRI PR, while secondary data is obtained from literature and YRI social media documentation. The communication strategy described refers to the 4 Step of Public Relations (RACE) theory, namely research, action, communication and evaluation from Cutlip, Center and Broom. The results of the study show that YRI uses digital media such as WhatsApp, Gmail and Instagram. The communication strategy used by YRI is in accordance with the RACE theory, and has been proven to help YRI PR carry out information dissemination activities more effectively. This research is expected to be a reference for YRI Public Relations in developing more effective information dissemination strategies, to strengthen YRI's role in efforts to increase youth potential.

Abstract

Communication patterns within organizations greatly affect the motivation for employees' work. The research aims to identify and analyze the communication patterns used on nadhif engineering's CV and the effects on employee job motivation. The background of the problem emerged from the observation that employee's work motivation in the company was still low, although companies have implemented various performance improvement programs. The method used is a qualitative approach, with deep interviews and participative observations of employees of various stages. Studies have shown that open, transparent, and participative communication contributes significantly to increased job motivation. Employees feel more appreciated and involved when they are given the opportunity to communicate ideas and feedback. Additionally, management's support in the form of awards and recognition for the contributions of employees has also proven to increase work morale. The study concluded that effective pattern of communication management could be a key strategy in boozing employee job motivation on nadhif engineering, which in turn would contribute to an overall increase in company productivity

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of organizational communication in improving employee performance in the Corporate and Government Division of Trans TV. The main problem discussed in this research is how the form of internal communication applied by the division and the role of communication in encouraging employee performance. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study method, this research used in-depth interviews with a number of employees and secondary data analysis. The results show that organizational communication consisting of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal communication has been implemented by Trans TV's Corporate and Government Division. The vertical communication applied uses The Equalitarian Style approach. Horizontal communication that is applied plays a role in facilitating coordination between coworkers, supported by strategic workspaces, while diagonal communication accelerates cross-division decision making. This form of communication creates a comfortable work environment, strengthens relationships, and encourages employee performance and can reduce conflict, increase a sense of community, and maintain employee motivation. It can be concluded that organizational communication in the Corporate and Government Division of Trans TV plays a role in encouraging employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti pola komunikasi kelompok dalam Komunitas UMKM Naik Kelas Kota Bogor, yang berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk mendorong kapabilitas pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). UMKM memegang peran penting dalam perekonomian nasional, namun seringkali menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam aspek manajemen, pemasaran, dan pengembangan kapasitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi kelompok yang diterapkan dalam Komunitas UMKM Naik Kelas Kota Bogor dalam mendorong kapabilitas bisnis anggotanya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pola komunikasi kelompok seperti pola lingkaran dan pola roda memainkan peran signifikan dalam proses berbagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman antaranggota. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pola komunikasi kelompok yang tepat dalam komunitas dapat mendorong kapabilitas bisnis UMKM, dengan meningkatkan sinergi, inovasi, dan akses terhadap pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi komunikasi Forum Generasi Berencana Kota Bogor, dengan fokus pada pelaksanaan program Implementasi Nyata Generasi Berencana Cegah Stunting di Kota Bogor pada periode 2023. Tujuan utamanya adalah menganalisis alur dan strategi Generasi Berencana Kota Bogor dalam melakukan komunikasi organisasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan anggota Generasi Berencana dan sumber sekunder, termasuk literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Generasi Berencana memiliki alur komunikasi internal dan eksternal yang terstruktur, yang melibatkan pemangku kepentingan utama seperti sekolah dan lembaga pemerintah daerah, untuk memastikan program tersebut secara efektif menjangkau remaja sebagai sasaran. Temuan ini menyoroti keberhasilan program dalam melibatkan remaja melalui bahasa informal, alat interaktif, dan kegiatan yang disesuaikan dengan audiens. Komunikasi dan koordinasi yang efektif antara anggota Generasi Berencana dan dengan mitra eksternal sangat penting untuk mencapai tujuan program. Studi ini menggarisbawahi potensi strategi komunikasi yang terorganisasi dalam meningkatkan intervensi kesehatan masyarakat.
