Abstract

This research aims to explore and examine the role of Acehnese women throughout history, in the political, social, and cultural spheres, by positioning them as active subjects who contribute to the dynamics of society. This research is important because the history of Aceh shows the presence of prominent female figures, such as sultanahs, female scholars, and warriors, who made significant contributions to the sustainability of Acehnese society's identity and social structure. This research uses a qualitative method with a historical-interpretive approach that seeks to understand the traces of women's roles thru narrative analysis, archival documents, literature, and oral testimonies. Data was obtained thru in-depth literature studies of historical manuscripts, local chronicles, colonial archives, and semi-structured interviews with historians, academics, and community figures in Aceh who understand the role of women in local history. The research sample involved 12 key informants who were purposefully selected due to their involvement in historical studies or because of a strong oral tradition heritage in their environment. Data analysis was conducted by reducing information, presenting narratives, and thematic interpretations, resulting in a comprehensive picture of women's position in the historical trajectory of Aceh. The research findings indicate that Acehnese women are not only present in the domestic sphere but also play a significant role in political leadership, the fight against colonialism, and the transmission of cultural and religious values. This finding confirms that the history of Aceh cannot be fully understood without presenting the narrative of women as agents of change. This research contributes to enriching Indonesian historiography with a gender perspective and opens space for a more inclusive and equitable reinterpretation of history regarding women's contributions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the legal regulation of diversion and identify obstacles and solutions in implementing diversion in the juvenile criminal justice system at the investigation level. The research method used is empirical juridical, with interviews as a primary data source and literature studies as a secondary data source. The results of the study show that crimes involving children in 2023 and 2024 in Majalengka are quite diverse, with the highest case being sexual intercourse, with a total of 20 cases. Obstacles in implementing diversion include requests for compensation that are difficult to fulfill, lack of understanding by law enforcement officials, and low public support. The proposed solutions include ongoing training for law enforcement officials and education to the public about the importance of diversion.

Abstract

An important requirement is a Sailing Approval Letter (SPB) as a condition in seaworthy shipping or whether or not a ship can sail. Ships that are incomplete or absent the letter have violated the law or can be said to be a criminal offense in the shipping sector; the problem is how to enforce the law against ships that are not seaworthy and what the obstacles are at Cirebon II Port. The method used is an empirical juridical approach, looking at the law applicable in the community and people's behavior, especially in the field of shipping, in accordance with existing rules. This type of qualitative research, analytical descriptive, looks at the facts in the field. Data is taken from in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders. This study found that law enforcement was not optimal because only the ship was detained while the captain and ship owner were not. The obstacle was due to PPNS's limited personnel; the captain fled, and the ship was unknown to its owner. PPNS in enforcing shipping laws must be sufficient, and the infrastructure facilities must be fulfilled; in addition, data collection on shipping ship owners and strict sanctions are needed for skippers and shipping ship owners.

Abstract

Background. Illegal buildings along the Sukalila River in Cirebon city, mostly MSME-based businesses, pose complex legal, environmental, and social problems. Disputes between local governments that have the authority to arrange space with communities that have illegal buildings often arise from inconsistencies between the provisions for erecting buildings on the river and the community's need to make a living. Purpose. This research aims to analyze the form of illegal building dispute resolution that is not only in accordance with the law but also fair to affected communities. Method. The research method is used for empirical juridical or sociological research through regulatory studies, document analysis, and practical field studies on the management of watersheds or river equivalents. Results. This research shows that fair settlement needs to integrate the principles of procedural, distributive, and restorative justice. Mediation mechanisms, participatory dialogue, objective data collection, and the inclusion of new relocations are effective steps to reduce conflicts. In addition, it once again prohibits the existence of illegal buildings and is intended to promote beautiful urban development. Conclusion. This study concludes that a collaborative, empowerment-based dispute-resolution model is the key to achieving social justice and sustainable management of the Sukalila River.

Abstract

This research is a development research (R&D) motivated by the low numeracy skills of students in understanding data presentation materials. The purpose of the research is to develop learning media in the form of E-Comic based on Computational Thinking (CT) to improve the numeracy skills of seventh grade students. The development model used is ADDIE, which includes five systematic stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the research were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Kota Madiun. Data were collected using validation sheet instruments, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the E-Comic media obtained validation from media experts with an average percentage of 90%, categorized as very valid. In terms of practicality, this media was considered very practical with an achievement of 89.38% in limited trials and 86.42% in field trials. The effectiveness of the media was analyzed using the N-Gain score, which showed an increase in learning outcomes of 76.18% in limited trials and 77.20% in field trials, both in the high category. The implementation of CT principles in learning through E-Comics has been proven to guide students to think systematically, logically, and creatively in understanding and presenting data. Therefore, this CT-based E-Comic learning medium is valid, practical, effective, and relevant for mathematics learning, particularly data presentation, and is in line with the needs of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business model of Epu-Epu enterprises and identify opportunities for business model innovation in developing this local product in Buton Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to understand the phenomenon of business model innovation in Epu-Epu businesses. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving ten informants consisting of six MSME actors or traders, three consumers, and one local government representative. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results show that the business model of Epu-Epu enterprises in Buton Regency remains relatively simple, with production, management, and marketing systems that are not yet optimally structured. Analysis using the Business Model Canvas framework indicates opportunities for innovation through product diversification and improved packaging quality. In addition, the use of digital marketing, expansion of distribution networks, and collaboration with local governments and other MSME actors are important strategies to enhance product competitiveness. These findings suggest that Business Model Canvas–based innovation can support the development and sustainability of local MSME products such as Epu-Epu.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation and negotiation process of the Islamic Religious Education (ISE) right-to-learn policy in Christian-based schools with a majority of Muslim students, through a case study of SMK Kristen Nusantara Kudus. Religious moderation is understood as a dynamic social process, shaped through the interaction of daily practices, symbolic constructions, and power relations within the school environment. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis with the principal, Islamic Religious Education (ISE) teachers, and Muslim students. The results show that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (ISE) not only represents administrative compliance with regulations but also serves as an institutional strategy for managing diversity while maintaining institutional identity. Interview data revealed that formally the school has fulfilled institutional justice by providing Muslim teachers, worship facilities, and learning arrangements. However, at the practical level, all participants revealed that at the beginning of each lesson, and in every formal activity such as prayer ceremonies, there are two prayers, one in Islamic and one in Christian, indicating the existence of symbolic and emotional boundaries in social interactions. Islamic Religious Education (ISE) teachers also negotiate pedagogical practices of caution in delivering material, by avoiding sensitive and potentially conflict-inducing material. This includes students' self-discipline during Christian prayer, as well as their feelings of gradually becoming accustomed to the presence of symbols of Christian identity.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to find out what part young people play in the growth of Sriwijaya Village in Aceh Tamiang Regency. The study method used is descriptive qualitative, and interviews and written records were used to collect data. Data analysis uses techniques for reducing the amount of data, showing the data, and checking and confirming the findings. The study's results are: 1) The young people of Sriwijaya Village are active, getting other people in the community to take part in planning for the village's future and making decisions about it. 2) The young people of Sriwijaya Village are a source of motivation. This is clear from the fact that they are active in youth groups that encourage other people to work together and help keep the village safe. The young people of Sriwijaya Village are creative and come up with new ideas. For example, they have started online conversation groups about planning for village development and organize sports events for positive youth activities in planning for regional development. 4) The young people of Sriwijaya Village are a driving force. First, they figure out what the problems are in Sriwijaya Village, and then they plan activities to fix them, like leadership training and activities. Lastly, the young people of Sriwijaya Village do a lot to help the village grow. Because Sriwijaya Village's future growth or decline will depend a lot on how well today's kids deal with things.
