Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the causes and effects of political conflict in al-Faris al-Jamil's novel based on Maurice Duverger's theory. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data in this study were obtained through the novel "al Faris al Jamil" by Ali Ahmad Baltsir. Data were collected by three techniques. Namely the listening technique and note-taking technique. The data that has been obtained must go through the validation stage. The validation process is carried out by increasing research persistence, triangulation and discussion with experts. The data analysis used by the researcher is the analysis of the Miles and Hubarman model. Namely, the presentation, reduction and formulation of data conclusions. The results of the study show that: First, the form of political conflict in this novel is the circulation of weapons, there are many wars and the use of political strategies. Second: Political conflict is caused by 2 factors: personal factors and group factors. Third: This social conflict can cause effects, both positive and negativeالملخصهدفت هذه الدراسة إلى وصف ما في رواية الفارس الجميل لعلي أحمد باكثير من الصراع السياسي. واعتمد الباحثنون في النظر إلى صور الصراع السياسي في هذه الرواية على نظرية موريس دوفيرجير. وبالتالي ارتكز الباحثون في وصف الصراع السياسي وكل ما يتعلق به من العوامل والأسباب. أما منهج البحث فاختار الباحثون منهج البحث الكيفي. وأما مصادر البيانات فهو رواية "الفارس الجميل" لعلي أحمد باكثير فحسب. وجمع الباحثون البيانات من خلال ثلاث خطوات، وهي القراءة وتسجيل ما لها تعلق بالموضوع من الصراع السياسي والترجمة. ثم تم صديق البيانات بواسطة زيادة المثابرة والتثليث والمناقشة مع الخبراء. وأما تحليل البيانات فتكون من ثلاث خطوات وهي التخفيض والعرض والاستنتاج. ولهذه الدراسة نتائج هامة حول الصراع السياسي وهي أولا، انتشار الأسلحة وحدوث كثير من المعركة واستعمال استراتيجية السياسة. ثانيا، تتفرع الأسباب المؤدية إلى الصراع السياسي إلى فرعين: الأسباب الفردية والأسباب الجماعية. ثالثا، وللصراع السياسي آثار إيجابية كانت أم سلبية. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menggambarkan sebab dan pengaruh konflik politik novel al-Faris al-Jamil berdasarkan teori Maurice Duverger. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui novel “al Faris al Jamil” karya Ali Ahmad Baltsir. Data dikumpulkan dengan tiga teknik. Yaitu teknik simak dan teknik catat. Data yang telah diperoleh harus melalui tahapan  validasi. Proses validasi dilakukan dengan peningkatan ketekunan penelitian, triangulasi dan diskusi bersama para ahli. Analisis data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu analisis model Miles dan Hubarman. Yaitu, penyajian, reduksi dan perumusan kesimpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, bentuk konflik politik dalam novel ini yaitu beredarnya senjata, banyak terjadi peperangan dan penggunaan strategi politik. Kedua: Konflik politik disebabkan karena 2 faktor: faktor pribadi dan faktor golongan. Ketiga: Konflik sosial ini dapat menyebabkan pengaruh, baik yang bersifat positif maupun negatif.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the prevailing view in Libyan society towards women assuming the position of judge, focusing on the opinions and evidence of jurists on this subject, discussing their different points of view, and comparing this with legal legislation in Libya and Islamic jurisprudence. The problem of the research lies in the fact that Libyan society adheres strongly to its traditions and customs, and the problem also arises in the different opinions of jurists on the ruling on women assuming the judiciary in Islam, which prompted the researcher to study the reasons for this difference and divergence in opinions. The researcher relied in his study on a set of research methods: he used the descriptive approach to provide a picture of the issue, and he also used the analytical method to study the data, and used the comparative method to compare different jurisprudential opinions with each other, as well as compare them with legal legislation, in order to reach conclusions about the reasons for the difference. The researcher reached several main conclusions, the most important of which is that the prevailing traditions in Libya reject women taking over the judiciary because of the prevailing culture. In contrast, Libyan law provides that women may hold the judiciary absolutely. In Islamic jurisprudence, jurists have differed in four main directions: the public prohibits women from taking over the judiciary absolutely, while some Shafi'is believe that this is permissible in necessity. As for the Ahnafs, they allow her to judge in matters in which she testifies, while Ibn Jarir al-Tabari and those with him believe that it is permissible for her to assume the judiciary absolutely.

Abstract

Tashrif Ishtilahi learning at Muhammadiyah Senior High School has become monotonous for students. The teacher implemented a "fun learning" strategy supported by a snakes and ladders game as instructional media to address this issue. This study aims to: describe the use of the snakes and ladders media in Tashrif Ishtilahi instruction, and examine classroom learning activities involving this media. This research adopts a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations and interviews were conducted to explore the classroom activities utilizing the Snakes and Ladders media, while interviews specifically captured teachers' responses to these learning activities. Documentation was used to gather visual data during the implementation process. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's model, which involves three stages: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. To ensure data validity, source triangulation was applied. The study yielded two main findings: the snakes and ladders media was designed using Canva, printed on A3 paper, and equipped with four tokens and one die to accommodate group play; and the gameplay resembled that of a conventional snakes and ladders game, with students required to correctly pronounce Tashrif Ishtilahi forms before moving to the next square.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the smartphone game Sakura School Simulator on language acquisition in 7-year-old girls in Wajak village, Wajak sub-district, Malang district, East Java. It also investigates the understanding of language development in children, including the biological and social aspects that influence the process. The purpose of this study is to understand the extent to which the Sakura School Simulator game can influence language skills in 7-year-old children, with a focus on the use of English. The method used in this study was based on a descriptive qualitative approach and included observation of children playing the Sakura School Simulator game by listening and taking notes. The results showed that children who played the Sakura School Simulator game actively used various English terms in the game, understood instructions in English, and were able to use various game features and options in English. However, the study also warned about the potential negative effects of overusing the game, such as addiction, lack of socialization, and lack of politeness in language use. In conclusion, the use of Sakura school simulator can contribute to language acquisition, especially English in children aged 7 years, but supervision is needed to ensure a positive and effective play experience in children's language development. Keywords: Sakura School Simulator, Language Acquisition, 7 Year Olds

Abstract

Syair yang memuat tentang ungkapan duka secara berlebihan dengan kata-kata yang menyayat hati disebut ritsa’ atau syair ratapan, corak syair tersebut mendominasi dalam syair Al Khansa. Dimensi psikologis tersebut dapat mempengaruhi tema, pemilihan kata, dan gaya bahasa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bentuk-bentuk bahasa sastra yang digunakan oleh Al Khansa dan latar belakang kehidupannya yang membuat Al Khansa mengabadikan peristiwa yang telah ia alami dalam syair-syairnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis yang mengambil data dari sejarah sosok penyair Al Khansa. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari pemilihan topik dan rumusan masalah, akumulasi data, analisis data, interpretasi data, dan yang terakhir penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Bentuk-bentuk bahasa syair yang dipilih oleh Al Khansa adalah kata-kata yang menunjukkan kesedihan, ratapan, dan balas dendam. (2) Hal yang melatarbelakangi Al Khansa dalam karya sastranya adalah kematian kedua saudaranya dalam peperangan yang mempengaruhi keadaan jiwa dan batinnya dalam menciptakan syairnya. Ratapan kesedihan dari keluarga yang ditinggalkan akibat meninggalnya dua saudaranya dalam peperangan tertuang dalam syair. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model penulisan karya sastra dipengaruhi oleh dimensi-dimensi internal penciptanya, diantaranya kondisi psikologis yang dialami oleh sastrawan

Abstract

This study encourages the disclosure of cultural values contained in the book al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik which is used in learning maharah kalam at the middle school level. Teaching cultural-based maharah kalam is important in learning Arabic. Cultural values contained in textbooks must be adapted to the way they are taught to students. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method at Dar el-Iman Junior High School, Padang, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out using in-depth observations, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique was based on Miles and Huberman's theory which encompassed data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The data obtained were validated with data triangulation techniques and data sources. This study showed that the cultural values adopted from the book al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik in Junior High School of Dar el-Iman are associated with what students have done every day, such as saying greetings when they first meet, not shaking hands between men and women, getting used to good pronunciation of sentences, and etc. It is necessary to test the effectiveness of the use of al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik textbook in improving students' maharah kalam, to become a reference for teachers in choosing the right maharah kalam textbook.

Abstract

This study aims to work on an ASP (Arabic for Specific Purposes) model designed by Arabic-speaking tour guides. As the background, the increase in the number of tourists coming from the Middle East from year to year shows that Indonesian tourism is in high demand, but it seems that the tourism industry in Indonesia does not expect the number of tourists coming from the Middle East to increase because both the government and the private sector are doing more promotion. Arabic language teaching especially in the realm of tourism becomes the center of this study. This research uses a qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques subsume interviews, observations, and documentation from the implementation of ASP training in Jogjakarta. This study has found that the ASP Model for tourism is student-centered learning with practical-based learning strategies considering needs analysis and prior information. ASP model is prepared for students at an advanced level. Students are also familiar with the basics of tourist guidance and interpretation skills in tourism. The foregoing is underlined by a notion that the teaching of ASP for tourism is inseparable from fluency of speech and comfortable statements.

Abstract

Acquiring Arabic as a second language is a complex process influenced by various factors. In this literature review, we explore the factors that affect the acquisition of Arabic as a second language from a psycholinguistic perspective. We highlight three main factors, namely motivation, language factors, and social factors. Strong and sustained motivation plays a crucial role in motivating learners to diligently and consistently learn Arabic. A good understanding of the differences between the first language and Arabic is also found to be a significant factor, as this understanding helps learners overcome difficulties and develop a better grasp of the Arabic language. Additionally, social factors, such as interaction with native speakers and a supportive learning environment, provide valuable opportunities for learners to actively practice Arabic. This research has important implications for understanding Arabic as a second language. By understanding the factors that influence the acquisition of Arabic, more effective learning approaches can be developed. We provide suggestions to enhance learner motivation, consider first language factors in language learning, encourage social interaction, and integrate cultural contexts into Arabic language learning. The relevance of this research lies in its contribution to our understanding of the acquisition of Arabic as a second language and providing guidance to educators and learners in developing optimal learning strategies. Thus, it is expected that this article will provide valuable insights and contribute to the field of Arabic language acquisition as a second language from a psycholinguistic perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the common Imla errors in Arabic writing and the development of Imla textbooks based on constructivist theory. This research used the qualitative method and R&D method in terms of Brog and Gall. The results of this research and development are Spelling errors with a total of 403 errors, consisting of writing errors in hamzah qath'i and washl, alif, and lam, ta' marbuthah, hamzah in the middle and at the end of words, long sounds, connecting hijaiyyah letters, connecting words. developed is a book for teaching Imla' based on constructivism theory, and the learning process focuses on exploration, clarification, and application activities. The validity of Imla's textbook is the result of expert validation. The overall quality of the book is "very good". The results of this study indicate that constructivist theory is suitable for teaching Imla' to beginners by presenting exploration at the beginning of learning, clarification in core activities, and application at the end of learning.

Abstract

The preparation of Arabic teaching materials based on moderation values has been the focus of this research. The analytic philosophy approach is a foundation for detailing and integrating moderation values into teaching materials. This study aims to identify analytic philosophy's urgency in developing moderation value-based Arabic teaching materials. The analysis method used involves a qualitative approach, which analyzes the content of teaching materials developed using the principles of analytic philosophy. This analysis involves differentiating concepts, language rigor, and understanding cultural contexts. The results showed that analytic philosophy significantly enriched Arabic teaching materials by considering the diversity of students' moderation values. The learning steps applied include careful differentiation of concepts, rigor in the use of language, and continuous reflection and improvement. This research contributes to developing Arabic pedagogy responsive to students' values and culture, creating a framework combining analytic philosophy with moderation values in Arabic teaching approaches.
