Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi terhadap program boarding school terutama dalam membentuk karakter religius peserta didik di MA Negeri Temanggung. Program Boarding school merupakan sistem pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pembelajaran akademik, dengan peserta didik mendapatkan pengawasan dan pembinaan karakter selama 24 jam. Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan datanya berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program boarding school di MA Negeri Temanggung telah dilaksanakan melalui berbagai kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan seperti kajian kitab, hafalan Al-Qur’an, salat berjamaah , serta kegiatan keagamaan harian lainnya. Implementasi program ini didukung oleh lingkungan yang kondusif, peran aktif guru dan pengasuh, serta sistem pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kendala seperti kurangnya kedisiplinan sebagian peserta didik dan keterbatasan fasilitas asrama. Secara keseluruhan, boarding school berkontribusi positif dalam pembentukan karakter religius terhadap peserta didik, ditandai dengan meningkatnya kepatuhan dalam menjalankan ibadah, sikap tanggung jawab, serta nilai-nilai moral yang diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century necessitates the cultivation of capabilities that integrate cognitive abilities, social skills, and character development. In the context of accelerating globalisation, local wisdom values are progressively marginalised, despite their crucial influence on the formation of students' identity, social empathy, and tolerance. This project seeks to create and evaluate the efficacy of a Social Studies (IPS) learning model grounded in local knowledge, referred to as the Social Cognition Construction Model Based on Local knowledge. The study utilised a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, adhering to the phases of the Borg & Gall development model, which include needs analysis, model design, expert validation, limited trials, and extensive implementation. Data were gathered by observation, questionnaires, and tests, then analysed employing both descriptive quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The findings demonstrate that the Social Cognition Construction Model Based on Local Wisdom is both valid and practicable, as per evaluations from experts and practitioners. Both the limited and extended trials evidenced the model’s efficacy in improving five critical dimensions of learning: cognitive abilities (from 54.64 to 77.16), learning observation / observation of student engagement (from 89.25 to 96.00), learning motivation (from 79.06 to 94.12), social attitudes (from 64.64 to 92.02), and nurturant effect (from 81.20 to 92.65). In conclusion, the Social Cognition Construction Model Based on Local Wisdom significantly enhances Social Studies learning outcomes and promotes the development of student character that values local traditions, cultivates social empathy, and encourages harmonious social interactions.

Abstract

This paper aims to promote the implementation of the concept of strengthening moderate Islam through democratic learning in Islamic elementary schools. The ease of internet access and remote communication, as the effect of globalization in the field of technology, can be used to gain any information needed, including the Islamic knowledge that can be freely learned without teachers. A literature study was employed to describe the data related to the internalization of moderate Islam and democratic learning. The findings demonstrate that moderate Islam (tawasuth) is a life principle that upholds justice in social life. The values of moderate Islam can be internalized in the school curriculum as a reinforcement starting from the elementary school level through implementing democratic learning. This application can be carried out through various methods such as discussion, question and answer, group work, and simulation. The implementation of democratic learning encourages communicative relationships between teachers and students, fosters friendship, and enhances the value of ‘ukhuwah’ (good relations). Furthermore, these methods emphasize student-centered learning. This study also illustrates that democratic learning provides a wide array of opportunities for students to creatively and critically express their ideas and thoughts in their own learning styles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan khususnya di tingkat kelompok bermain dengan fokus pada kepala sekolah sebagai pelaksana utama supervisi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melibatkan kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai subjek penelitian melalui teknik wawancara mendalam dan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi klinis yang dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui tiga tahap pertemuan awal, observasi kelas, dan pertemuan balikan berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru dan kualitas pembelajaran. Solusi yang diterapkan antara lain pendekatan kolaboratif, pelatihan penggunaan rubrik, serta umpan balik konstruktif. Temuan penelitian menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelatihan intensif bagi kepala sekolah, program supervisi yang terjadwal, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dampak positif supervisi klinis. Dengan demikian, supervisi klinis tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai alat monitoring, tetapi juga sebagai strategi pengembangan profesional guru yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar dapat mengetahui penerapan fungsi manajemen kepala TK Pelangi Nusantara 09, untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat implementasi fungsi manajemen untuk meningkatkan mutu. Jenis pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis kualitatif deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen pendukung. Sumber data diperoleh dari beberapa informan yaitu kepala sekolah, guru TK A, guru TK B, dan staf tata usaha TK Pelangi Nusantara 09 Kabupaten Wonosobo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Penerapan empat fungsi manajemen kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di TK Pelangi Nusantara 09 Kabupaten Wonosobo meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Dalam penerapan empat fungsi manajemen tersebut, kepala sekolah sudah melakukan berbagai kegiatan yang selaras dengan standar mutu pendidikan anak usia dini. 2). Hal pendukung dalam implementasi fungsi-fungsi manajemen kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah adanya kerjasama dan koordinasi yang baik, lingkungan yang kondusif, pendekatan pendidikan holistik berbasis karakter, serta fasilitas sarana prasarana yang baik. Sedangkan hal yang menjadi kendala adalah keterbatasan kemampuan sumber daya manusia dalam menangani anak berkebutuhan khusus, keterbatasan anggaran, serta pengelolaan waktu.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of social conflict-based learning in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills in social studies (IPS) subjects. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Bandung using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 34 eighth-grade students. The research instrument was a critical thinking test that measured students’ ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize social issues. Pre-test results showed that 29 students demonstrated good critical thinking skills, while 5 students were categorized as very good, with an average score of 74.94. After the implementation of the social conflict-based learning model, the post-test results indicated a significant improvement: 33 students reached the very good category, and only one student remained in the good category, with the average score rising to 84.41. These findings suggest that learning based on social conflict is effective in fostering students’ critical thinking skills, encouraging them to engage with social issues in a more reflective and analytical manner.

Abstract

Children are great imitators who always imitate people around them. As they are precious gifts from God, it is an obligation to look after and educate them in a proper manner with Islamic values such as giving behavior education to the children. Abdullah Nashih Ulwan said that behavior education is very important for children. Educators, including parents and society, are responsible for developing it. The behavior education which should be developed includes three domains; they are physical education, intellectual education, and spiritual education as well.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the processed food sector in Pekalongan Regency to utilize e-commerce as a strategy to expand their market reach. The main issues identified include low digital literacy and suboptimal use of digital platforms for product marketing. Through an action-based learning approach, the program was implemented through structured training and mentoring activities focused on social media utilization, marketplace registration, and the creation of digital promotional content. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ skills in managing social media accounts, registering on marketplaces, and producing engaging promotional materials. The long-term outcomes of the program include increased sales volume, higher income, and sustainable digital business practices among MSMEs. Additionally, the program produced scientific publications, video documentation, and a replicable training module. This community service initiative contributes to strengthening the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital economy era.

Abstract

The objective of This investigation is to investigate the influence of financial inclusion and financial literacy on the sustainability of businesses, with business savings serving as a mediating factor and financial literacy acting as a moderator. The study involved 150 culinary MSMEs in Central Java and utilized a quantitative method with the SmartPLS 3.0 analytical tool. The findings suggest that financial literacy and financial inclusion significant direct influences on business sustainability. Additionally, Financial literacy significantly influences business savings, highlighting its important role in shaping the financial behaviors of MSMEs. On the other hand, business savings do not show a statistically significant direct impact on business sustainability, and their mediating role receives only partial support. The moderating effect of financial literacy on the connection between business savings and business sustainability is significant but in a negative direction. These results suggest that while financial literacy is generally advantageous, it can change the role of savings if not integrated with effective financial planning. This research provides a theoretical contribution to the comprehension of financial behavior models in MSMEs and supports the achievement of SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through inclusive financial empowerment.

Abstract

This research explores the role of supervisors, particularly school principals, in improving student learning outcomes through continuous improvement. The study emphasizes the integral role of school principals in educational institutions. The research investigates the three key phases of supervision: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Effective supervision commences with comprehensive planning at the start of the academic year, involving all teachers and school staff. The core of supervised programs lies in their implementation, during which the principal observes teaching, classroom conditions, and student engagement. Subsequently, the evaluation stage involves an analysis of planning and implementation, enabling the identification of strategies and solutions to address issues and achieve continuous improvement. The qualitative methods employed in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation at sekolah menengah pertama katolik (SMPK) Kolese St. Yusup 2 Malang. The results demonstrate that the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of supervision at SMPK Kolese St. Yusup 2 Malang have successfully adopted a continuous improvement approach. This is evidenced by improvements in teacher effectiveness, social and personality competencies, and student learning outcomes, with notable achievements at local, regional, and national levels. The findings underscore the transformative potential of school principals as agents of change in academic supervision activities.
