Abstract

The development of technology in the digital era has a significant impact in various fields including home security. The existence of conventional door locks that are easily broken into and the risk of losing physical keys raises the need for a more sophisticated security system. This research aims to design an Internet of Things (IoT)-based home door security system that utilizes the Telegram application as a remote control medium. The system integrates a fingerprint sensor, keypad, and push button to open and close the door. Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) sensor and ESP32-CAM to detect motion and take pictures that are sent to Telegram. In addition, the system is equipped with an Uninterruptible Power supply (UPS) to ensure the device remains operational during a power outage. The results show that the electronic door lock system works well. The motion detection system is also able to accurately detect activity around the door and send images to Telegram with a fast response time. In addition, the use of UPS to keep the system functioning despite the interruption of electricity supply proved to be effective. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that this IoT-based home door security system is effective, easy to use, responsive, and continues to function despite a power outage

Abstract

Waste management is one of the common issues faced by many cities worldwide. Many people dispose of waste carelessly, failing to separate different types of waste, leading to piled-up and scattered garbage. This problem is caused by a lack of public awareness about environmental preservation and the absence of quick access between garbage bins and waste collectors, resulting in waste accumulation. Based on these issues, a smart trash bin based on the Internet of Things was designed using NodeMCU ESP32 as its microcontroller. The bin lid operates automatically using an infrared sensor as an object detector and is equipped with a DFPlayer module that can produce sound. The waste separator uses three proximity sensors and a DHT22 sensor to differentiate between wet organic, dry organic, and inorganic metal and non-metal waste. In this study, a trash bin was also designed with an ultrasonic sensor to detect the bin’s capacity, and the data was then sent via the Blynk platform, allowing waste collectors to access it through a smartphone. From the test results, the three proximity sensors and the DHT22 sensor successfully differentiated between wet, dry, metal, and non-metal waste. The data obtained by the ultrasonic sensor was also successfully transmitted to the collectors via the Blynk application

Abstract

Economic empowerment is an important tool in improving the community's economy. The Integrated System is basically an integrated agricultural system that is capable of being an important choice of strategy to increase resilience, security, food quality and improve the community's economy. One of the solutions in developing integrated agriculture is to utilize the Village Innovation and Local Potential Program. This community service program aims to increase people's knowledge of integrated agriculture by taking advantage of village innovation program offers in terms of supporting local potential to improve the economy. The method used in this activity is counseling on integrated agriculture in building food security by taking advantage of village innovation program offers and local potential. The partners for this activity are all the people of Gampong Capa Paloh, Padang Tiji District, Pidie Regency. From this activity it can be concluded that the partner community is very active during the implementation of activities in the context of empowering the community's economy in Gampong Capa Paloh

Abstract

In carrying out educational and training activities, needs analysis is the first step that must be carried out by education or training providers, this is because the needs analysis stage is very supportive of the success of the training program to be implemented, training that does not begin with this process makes it difficult for organizers to know what only what is needed by participants and will not be able to predict the success of the program that will be implemented. The aim of this research is to examine the basic concept of needs analysis which in this case is divided into three study focuses, namely: 1) the meaning of needs assessment and training, the benefits of a needs analysis process, and 3) methods and techniques of needs analysis, both from needs assessment, design, materials, and evaluation. The method used in research is the library method, where all forms of data are obtained from literature that is appropriate to the research topic. The primary data source in this research is a study of needs analysis, while secondary data sources are obtained from books, journals, articles and other relevant literature. The data analysis stage in this research uses the condensation stage, data presentation and verification. The results of the research show that 1) This Needs Assessment has the steps of delineating (describing), obtaining (obtaining), and applying (applying) data to obtain certainty about each need. 2) The benefits of needs analysis can be a benchmark and benchmark in making decisions, it can be a view of each activity, time and budget, it can be a solution to existing problems. 3) the needs analysis method can go through several stages such as identifying gaps, developing performance, identifying participants, creating a series of programs to be implemented and estimating costs

Abstract

The implementation of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) standard is a strategic step in enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of Indonesia’s smallholder palm oil sector. This community engagement program aims to strengthen the capacity of palm oil farmers in the Talang Petai Village Community Cooperative (KMD Talang Petai), Mukomuko Regency—under the guidance of PT Agro Muko—in understanding and applying RSPO principles and criteria. The activities were carried out through training sessions, awareness campaigns, and institutional mentoring. The results show a significant improvement in farmers’ understanding of sustainability concepts, increasing from 42% to 85%, the adoption of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and the establishment of a cooperative Internal Control System (ICS) as an RSPO certification.The collaborative approach involving academia, the private sector, and the community has proven effective in strengthening smallholder readiness for sustainable palm oil production.

Abstract

Kue Bhoi sendiri biasanya diperoleh di pasar pasar tradisional ataupun dipesan langsung pada pembuatanya. Gampong Sukon merupakan salah satu desa di pidie yang menjalankan usaha kue bhoi, Untuk menganalisis rumusan masalah dalam penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Dalam hal pemasaran, usaha produksi kue bhoi di Gampong Sukon masjid sudah memasarakan hingga keluar Kabupaten. Strategi pemasaran kue bhoi ini yaitu dengan mempertahankan kualitas rasa, memperbanyak distributor penjualan serta mempertahankan kualitas produk.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Aspek anatomis pemain khususnya tinggi badan juga merupakan faktor yang tak dapat kita remehkan. Kebanyakan cabang olahraga faktor yang sangat membatasi prestasi adalah bentuk (struktur) tubuh yang tinggi. Olahraga bola voli kemampuan otot tungkai sangat di perlukan untuk melakukan blocking. Teknik blocking sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas otot tungkai. Tujuan : Mengetahui tinggi badan dan kekuatan otot tungkai dengan blok pasif bola voli ekstrakulikuler SMPN 2 Loa Kulu tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Metode : metode kuantitatif, sampel penelitian yaitu siswa putra yang mengikuti ektrakurikuler bola voly berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik diperoleh dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Thitung 23,20 > Ttabel 3,35, maka terdapat hubungan tinggi badan dan kekuatan otot tungkai dengan blok pasif bola voli eksrtakulikuler SMPN 2 Loa Kulu Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Kesimpulan : Semakin baik tinggi badan dan kekuatan otot tungkai maka blok pasif semakin bagus.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of spiritual development toward the maqām of Ihsan through the perspectives of two prominent Muslim scholars, Imam al-Ghazali and Said Hawwa. Using a library research method with a descriptive-comparative approach, this study analyzes key ideas related to tazkiyatun nafs, the purification of the soul, and their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the stages of takhalli, tahalli, and tajalli as an introspective spiritual framework centered on purifying the heart and controlling desires. In contrast, Said Hawwa presents a more contextually modern framework of tarbiyah ruhiyah, highlighting the integration of personal spiritual growth with social righteousness through collective religious engagement. The findings reveal that the perspectives of the two scholars complement each other: al-Ghazali provides a foundational model for individual spiritual refinement, while Said Hawwa expands the concept toward social involvement grounded in sincerity and ihsan. The synthesis of these two approaches offers substantial relevance for Islamic educational curricula, particularly in pesantren, by shaping students who are ethically grounded, spiritually conscious, and capable of embodying Ihsan in both personal and social life.

Abstract

Nursing is a profession that is of great importance in the context of health services provided in hospitals. The quality of health services is significantly influenced by the performance of nurses who work in various treatment rooms. The objective of this study is to identify and analyse the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the room and the nurses’ desire to work in the nurses’ room of the RSIA Cicik Hospital. This study employed a quantitative research design with a descriptive cross-sectional study approach. 25% of employees had high motivation, while 75% had low motivation according to the authoritarian perspective. On the democratic side, 85.7% of employees had high motivation. With a p-value of 0.02, this relationship showed statistical significance. According to the democratic analysis, 30% of staff members have low motivation and 70% have high motivation. According to the authoritarian analysis, 87.5% of staff members have low motivation. As evidence of the statistical significance of this relationship, the p-value is 0.025. In the democratic perspective, 18.2% of staff members had low motivation and 81.8% had high motivation, while the authoritarian perspective showed that 75% of staff members had low motivation. This relationship has statistical significance with a p-value of 0.07. It would be beneficial for hospital management and ward heads to consider adopting a more democratic leadership style. To this end, ward leaders may benefit from undertaking leadership training, which will equip them with the skills required to manage teams in a more inclusive and supportive manner.
