Abstract

This study examines media ideology in the coverage of Prabowo–Gibran’s 100 Days of Breakthroughs in Education on Kompas.com using Teun A. van Dijk’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) model. Data consist of five news articles published between January and February 2025, selected through purposive sampling. The analysis was conducted qualitatively across three dimensions: text (macro, micro, and superstructure), social cognition, and social context. The findings reveal that the media do not merely report education policies but actively construct public opinion through linguistic strategies, issue framing, and rhetorical devices. While policies such as the 13-year compulsory education and teacher allowance improvements are portrayed as achievements, issues of educational equity and the welfare of honorary teachers are critically addressed. These results support earlier studies (Sari, 2020; Widodo, 2021) but provide a novel contribution by highlighting how the media simultaneously legitimize and criticize government policies during the early phase of a new administration. The study concludes that media coverage functions as an ideological arena where government, society, and media interact, emphasizing the need for transparency and broader public participation in education policy formulation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of soil quality index in pine forest land use type on dry land in Aceh Besar Regency. This research focused on several field observation points in the pine forest land use type area on dry land in Aceh Besar Regency. The soil quality index in the pine forest land use type in Aceh Besar Regency is included in the medium category. This is due to soil sampling on the inceptisol soil type in Aceh Besar Regency, which has characteristics of less fertile soil. Soils that have a high percentage of dust have a higher risk of erosion, because dust has a relatively small size so that it is easily washed away by surface flow. low C-organic content, high volume weight, pH H2O, K- exchangeable, P-available and low N-total. In the type of pine forest land use, special treatment is needed in the form of adding organic matter to the soil by fertilizing, reforesting pine plants and conducting drainage so as to reduce nutrient leaching in the top soil layer.

Abstract

Coconut farmers in some regions frequently neglect proper agricultural practices, making coconut farming inefficient. The purpose of the study was to analyze economic efficiency, technical efficiency and allocative efficiency of coconut farming. The research method uses descriptive quantitativeThe research location was purposively selected in Parigi Moutong Regency. Technical efficiency was examined using production function analysis, particularly using the stochastic frontier. Meanwhile, allocative and economic efficiency was determined by deriving the dual cost function from production costs. coconut farming was not technically efficient, generating an average value of 79.83%. Two technical factors, education and experience, could potentially reduce technical inefficiency. However, the economic efficiency was nearly efficient, reaching 97.9%, while the allocative efficiency was inefficient, acquiring 78.2%. The calculation of efficiency has been extensively applied in agricultural commodities, including food crops as well as in plantation crops like cocoa. However, currently, these three types of efficiency have not been implemented in the coconut commodity, particularly in Central Sulawesi.
