Abstract

This article discusses the challenges and prospects in the application of Maqasid al-Shariah principles in the context of contemporary Islamic law, using qualitative research methods and a library research approach. This research aims to explore the role of Maqasid al-Shariah as the main framework in compiling Islamic law that is relevant to the times. The results show that the application of Maqasid al-Shariah aims to maintain the relevance of Islamic law, answer various modern challenges, and realise the benefit of the people. Maqasid al-Shariah principles, such as the protection of religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property, provide flexibility for Islamic law to be applied in various fields, including legislation, economics, health, human rights, and environmental conservation. However, the research also identifies a number of significant challenges, including the lack of a comprehensive understanding of Maqasid al-Shariah among practitioners and policymakers, resistance to legal reform due to rigid textual interpretation, the gap between Maqasid theory and implementation in positive law in Muslim countries, and the influence of globalisation and technological developments that raise new legal issues. On the other hand, this research confirms the great prospect of applying Maqasid al-Shariah to create an inclusive, adaptive and relevant Islamic legal system. The Maqasid-based approach enables Islamic law to provide fair and beneficial solutions to modern society, without compromising the core values of Shari'ah. This shows that Maqasid al-Shariah is a dynamic foundation for realising justice and benefit in various aspects of Muslim life.

Abstract

This research aims to expose the system of Kaji Duduak as one of the strategies for learning qira'ah, specifically the aspects that will be exposed in this study are related to learning materials qira'ah, implementation methods and measures of use of the system Kaji Duduak as a strategy of learning qira'ah. The method of research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used classification, display and draw conclusions, to the validity of data use triangulation. The results of the study were: 1) learning materials qira'ah with a strategy kaji Duduak sourced from kitab kuning, 2) The implementation method more emphasis on qira'ah jahriyah, 3) measures used in teaching the maharah qira'ah with the strategy of Kaji Duduak: a) Students seated in the presence of ustadz, b) Teachers read the book that is listened to by students, c) Students are asked to restart the readings in turns , d) Reading material is analyzed using certain codes and distinctive mentions with Minang language, e) reading material translated based on i'rab.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the means of deriving enjoyment in life during the post-Truth era by drawing upon the existentialist values of Soren Kierkegaard. A qualitative approach is adopted with a conceptual design, utilizing exploratory, interpretative, and analytical methods. The results showed that individuals were able to derive enjoyment from life during the Post-Truth Era by embracing the following Soren Kierkegaard's existentialism values: Firstly, being oneself; living under the narrative of the heart and mind. Secondly, being moral and adhering to universal rules. Thirdly, living a religious life, having a direct connection with God, and being critical of religion. Previous studies had extensively explored Soren Kierkegaard's existentialism, but none specifically examined its concept as a means of enjoying life.

Abstract

Online Arabic learning presents several challenges, one of which is the ineffective utilization of learning media. This study aims to describe the tendency of Arabic learners through the Dars Arabi YouTube channel video media and the relationship between the learner's propensity and the variables of gender, age, and educational background of Dars Arabi channel users. This study uses a descriptive statistical method. The sample selection was taken randomly from as many as 160 people from a population of around 17,800 YouTube channel subscribers. This study's findings indicate that the tendency of online Arabic learners is at a moderately average level. This study also shows no statistically significant difference between trends in YouTube channel users and the variables of gender, educational background, and users' age. This study's conclusion shows the importance of using YouTube media to learn Arabic with content that is fun and can be enjoyed by all groups of society in a relaxed manner.

Abstract

Technology is advancing and developing, and we cannot let go of our lives. One of them is in the world of education, the use of technology is often found. teachers combine technological devices in the learning process so that the learning atmosphere becomes more interesting, not only with increasingly open technological developments and the spread of information and knowledge throughout the world across the boundaries of space and time. Thus, technological developments have a positive impact on educators and students. In this study, researchers measured the extent to which the application of this technology in the learning process was highly valued. For this reason, this research aims to find out the impact of technology on Arabic language learning at the Batusangkar Institute State Islamic University. The method used in this research is a survey research method. Data collection uses observation, interviews and questionnaires. Furthermore, the expected result of this research is to find out the role or influence of technology on Arabic language learning activities in higher education. Based on the research results, it can be seen that there is an influence or influence of technology on Arabic language learning at the Batusangkar State Islamic Institute.

Abstract

Hukum kewarisan Islam merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam syariat Islam yang mengatur pembagian harta peninggalan pewaris secara adil. Meskipun demikian, implementasinya seringkali menghadapi kendala di masyarakat, seperti yang terjadi di Desa Bonan Dolok, Kecamatan Siabu, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tata cara pembagian warisan di desa tersebut dalam perspektif hukum Islam. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap tokoh agama, tokoh adat, dan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembagian warisan di Desa Bonan Dolok masih sangat dipengaruhi oleh tradisi adat yang bertentangan dengan prinsip hukum Islam, terutama dalam hal alokasi warisan bagi anak perempuan. Sebagian besar masyarakat mengutamakan adat yang telah diwariskan secara turun-temurun, sementara pemahaman tentang hukum faraid sangat minim. Hal ini sering memicu konflik antaranggota keluarga, seperti perselisihan dan ketidakadilan dalam pembagian harta. Faktor utama penyebabnya adalah kuatnya pengaruh adat, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan, dan minimnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap hukum waris Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the means of deriving enjoyment in life during the Post-Truth era by drawing upon the existentialist values of Soren Kierkegaard. The significance of Soren Kierkegaard's existentialism lies in its emphasis on individuality, freedom, and the search for authentic meaning in life. Kierkegaard's philosophy highlights the importance of subjectivity and individual responsibility in facing a life full of decisions. His concept of existential decision-making stresses conscious choices that reflect awareness and accountability. emphasizing the uniqueness of individuals and the pursuit of life's meaning. This philosophical perspective underscores the critical role of self-awareness, self-development, and personal responsibility in leading a meaningful life. Kierkegaard believes that humans must become authentic selves, which continue without stopping. This is a struggle that must be carried out at all times, so that humans can become the subjects of their lives. Becoming an authentic self is a task that must be held accountable, and individuals have the possibility to realize the enjoyment of life. In Kierkegaard's thought, life is natural and sometimes has a greater sense of significance than life that is not natural. The natural way of life for humans is the way of enjoying life described by Kierkegaard.

Abstract

Peserta didik pada usia madrasah Tsanawiyah memiliki karakter yang labil, yakni karakter yang mudah goyah oleh kondisi tempat, waktu serta teman bersosialisasi. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan suatu model penguatan yang dapat membentuk peserta didik memiliki karakter yang kuat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan model pembelajaran tahfiz Alquran yang dapat membentuk peserta didik sebagai pribadi yang memiliki karakter yang kuat. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma kontrukstivisme, yaitu sebuah paradigma yang akan memaknai realita sosial dari berbagai aspek realita yang terjadi pada objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian adalah pertama, karakter religious peserta didik jenjang MTs dapat diperkuat melalui program tahfiz, kekuatan karakter reigious tersebut dibuktikan dengan ketaatan peserta didik dalam menjalankan ibadah, memiliki semangat yang kuat dalam mengikuti peringatan hari keagamaan, kematangan keyakinan setiap melakukan sesuatu dengan berdoa terlebih dahulu. Temuan penelitian dapat dikembangkan dengan berbagai pendekatan lain, karena peneliti belum dilakukan ujicoba terhadap kesimpulan yang dijelaskan, maka para peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan data penelitian dalam bentuk eksperimen.

Abstract

The ability to write scientific articles and their publications requires continuous training, as part of the functional workforce requires these skills to support future career development. Therefore, this activity aims to provide training to the ruler in West Pasaman Regency in terms of writing and publication of scientific works. The activity is carried out with training, technically the service team provides theoretical explanations and demonstrates the steps of submitating articles to the targeted journal. The result of this activity is that trainees know the types of scientific work, platforms that can help write scientific articles, steps to submit articles in targeted journals.

Abstract

The capacity of teachers is part of the requirements to realize the educational goals that have been set, it can be affirmed that if teachers do not have adequate capacity then the expectation to realize the goals of education is very minimal. Therefore, this activity is designed to provide information to teachers in the PDM Kuantan Singingi environment about strategies that can be done to realize themselves as teachers who have the capacity. This devotional activity involves various parties in accordance with their respective tupoksi. The result of this activity is that through the day seminar activities pai and ISMUBA teachers have comprehensive knowledge related to strategies to increase capacity as teachers. This is said because the material submitted relates to the necessity of a teacher to have conceptual and practical knowledge related to learning methods, teaching materials, utilization of information technology and evaluation of learning.
