Abstract

The effectiveness and efficiency of internal government monitoring could be greatly improved by the development of artificial intelligence (AI). Nonetheless, the adoption of AI is greatly impacted by human attitudes and intentions. Investigating the effects of the General Attitudes Toward AI Scale (GAAIS) on the Government Internal Audit (APIP) BPKP and Inspectorate's Intention to Use (ITU) AI is the aim of this study. The government's internal control system was surveyed using a quantitative methodology. Surveys evaluating GAAIS and ITU AI were used to gather data. To investigate the relationship between variables, data analysis was conducted using basic linear regression utilizing the (SPSS) software. Examining the general attitude of APIP toward the intention to utilize AI (GAAIS) is the innovative aspect of this study. The findings demonstrated that GAAIS significantly and favorably impacted AI ITU. This suggests that the apparatus's intention to use AI increases with its good attitude toward it. Perceived utility and usability are the main determinants of ITU, although fear of AI serves as a barrier that can be overcome with socialization and training.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the perceptions of multi-stakeholders (internal, external, and expert). Internal perceptions are those held by civil servants within the South Kalimantan Regional Government. The sources of external perceptions include the community, suppliers, journalists, and other stakeholders in South Kalimantan. Expert perceptions are drawn from retirees, members of the police, prosecutors, and other relevant individuals within the South Kalimantan Regional Government. The data analysis technique uses thematic analysis with phenomenological analysis techniques. Based on the analysis, the internal control system in the South Kalimantan Regional Government has shown positive developments, especially in the aspects of employee integrity, simplification of procedures, and utilization of technology. However, some areas require improvement, such as budget transparency, public awareness of complaint mechanisms, and strengthening interactive communication. In addition, there is still a lack of efficiency in providing services. The positive perceptions of internal, external, and expert stakeholders on integrity and service procedures show that the involvement of various stakeholders can improve the quality of internal control. Local governments must expand service digitization as a whole to increase efficiency and reduce opportunities for corruption. In addition, local governments also need to develop interactive methods such as hands-on training, discussion forums, and social media-based campaigns.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of government expenditure (APBD and APBN) on food availability in Southeast Sulawesi Province. Utilizing secondary data and elasticity analysis, the research assesses the responsiveness of food production to budgetary changes. The findings reveal that increased government spending through APBD and APBN does not significantly enhance food production. Instead, fluctuations in food output are primarily driven by non-fiscal factors, including agricultural land conversion for non-agricultural uses, declining soil productivity, climate change-induced disruptions to planting and harvesting cycles, and other external variables. Consequently, Southeast Sulawesi's food security faces long-term vulnerabilities without proactive interventions. Sustainable measures such as safeguarding and expanding agricultural land, improving farming efficiency, and adopting climate-resilient agricultural technologies are critical to mitigating these risks. Policymakers must prioritize these strategies to ensure stable and sustainable food security in the region.

Abstract

Awareness of the importance of sustainability reporting and carbon taxes is a significant issue for mining companies in Southeast Sulawesi. While contributing greatly to the local economy, these companies face environmental and social challenges. Sustainability reporting demonstrates a commitment to social and environmental responsibility, while carbon taxes encourage emissions reductions and the adoption of green technologies. However, implementation remains constrained by low management understanding and limited infrastructure. Studies show that the readiness of companies in this area is still low in facing these regulations. Intensive socialization is needed to increase company awareness and readiness. Collaboration between the government, companies and communities is essential to overcome this challenge. The objective of socialization is to improve companies' understanding of sustainability reporting and carbon tax, strengthening transparency, accountability, and positive contributions to the environment and society. The benefits include the integration of sustainability principles in business, increased transparency, strengthened accountability, increased investor confidence, asset management efficiency, and the application of better accounting standards.

Abstract

This study investigates the shifting patterns and cultural significance of child naming practices in the Bugis community of Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi, in response to global influences and modernization. Traditionally, Bugis names reflected social class, gender, religious values, and local wisdom. However, increased exposure to global culture, mass telecommunications, and diminishing traditional structures has triggered a deconstruction of these naming norms. This research aims to describe the structural patterns of Bugis personal names and analyze the socio-technological factors contributing to their transformation. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through random sampling, surveys of 100 respondents, and literature review, with analysis stages including data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal seven distinct naming patterns—from one-word regional names to multi-word millennial formats—highlighting linguistic phenomena such as analogy, paragoge, and the Ta Marbuta process. The results show a generational shift from ethnically-rooted to religion-oriented and globally-influenced names. This study contributes to the preservation of cultural identity and anthroponymic knowledge while offering a foundation for future research on language, globalization, and identity in regional communities. It underscores the urgent need to document naming traditions to ensure intergenerational transmission of cultural values.
