Abstract

Permainan tradisional diyakini mampu memberi kontribusi pada berbagai pengembangan aspek kecerdasan anak usia dini. Permainan tradisional Sumbar Suru bagi anak-anak perempuan Jawa di Tahun 1980-an mungkin tidak asing lagi. Dolanan ini tentu melatih keuletan, kecermatan, dan sikap kehati-hatian bagi setiap anak yang bermain Sumbar Suru. Aturan bermainnya adalah mengambil sebanyak-banyaknya biji dengan suru, siapa yang dapat mengambil paling banyak sebagai pemenangnya. Modifikasi permainan sumbar suru dalam artikel ini, adalah merubah alat-alat permainan , namun masih memainkan dengan prinsip bermain yang sama. Kemampuan Kognitif atau sering disebut kognisi mempunyai pengertian yang luas mengenai berfikir dan mengamati. Kognisi mencakup aspek-aspek struktur intelek yang dipergunakan untuk mengetahui sesuatu. Kemampuan kognitif melibatkan seluruh alat indra. Anak-anak belajar langsung dengan melihat, meraba, mencium, merasakan dan mendengar. Lewat modifikasi permainan sumbar suru ini, dapat mengembangkan aspek kognitif anak usia dini. Kata kunci: Modifikasi Permainan Sumbar Suru, Aspek Kognitif, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Morus macroura Miq. (Moraceae) which is native West Sumatra is now classified as endangered species and usually used as furniture. This plant produces phenolic compounds. Generally secondary metabolites produced by plants are found in low level, therefore, in vitro techniques such as callus culture, cell suspension and organ cultures are the alternative methods to increase their in vitro production. However, problems on genetic instability such as variation in chromosome numbers and abnormality of chromosome structure are found. These cases influence the productions of secondary metabolites. Genetic variation could be overcome using hairy root culture. The aim of the research was to analyze the growth and chromosome numbers of Morus macroura Miq. hairy root transformed with Agrobacterium strains TISTR-511, TISTR-512, ATCC-15834 and R-1000 in order to determine the genetic variation of the culture. Growth was determined by measuring the fresh and dry weights of roots after 4 weeks in culture. Chromosome numbers was prepared by squashing. The results showed that transformed roots had higher growth compared to the growth of untransformed roots. The growth of hairy roots was varied depending on the strains of Agrobacterium. Both transformed and untransformed roots had high variation in the chromosome numbers. Genetic stability of both transformed and untransformed roots were low but they had similar pattern of distribution on the chromosome number. The roots had the diploid number of chromosome 2n=2x=28 ranged from 35.83 to 46.13% and the tetraploid numbers 2n=4x=56 ranged from 23.23 to 42.21%. Total cells examined were more that 230 cells.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan penguasaan keterampilan mahasiswa dalammenyusun perencanaan pembelajaran bagi anak usia dini, karena keberhasilan capaian pembelajarandiawali dengan keberhasilan dalam merencanakannya. Selama ini merancang lesson plan menjadisalah satu kesulitan baik yang sudah menjadi guru maupun yang masih sebagai calon guru PAUD,oleh sebab itu mereka perlu mengalami sendiri agar memiliki penguasaan keterampilan yang baik.Penelitian yang melibatkan subjek sebanyak 27 mahasiswa calon guru PAUD ini dilakukan denganmetode penelitian action research model Kemmis&Taggart. Data dikumpulkan melalui hasilobservasi proses pembelajaran, penilaian hasil karya mahasiswa, dan wawancara tak terstrutur.Kemudian dilakukan analisis data kuantitatif dengan statistik deskriptif dan data kualitatif denganmodel analisis miles & hubberman. Tindakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, sikluspertama dilakukan sebanyak 10 pertemuan dan siklus kedua sebanyak 4 pertemuan. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan penguasaan keterampilan mahasiswa mengalamiperkembangan yang signifikan, mahasiswa juga mengakui bahwa pembelajaran yang dilaksanakandengan metode experiential learning menjadikan mahasiswa lebih antusias, semangat, dan bergembirakarena mengalami langsung proses perancangannya tahap demi tahap hingga menghasilkan lessonplan yang tepat dan sesuai. Dengan demikian, metode experiential learning direkomendasikan untukdapat digunakan sebagai variasi metode pembelajaran yang efektif bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Corona virus is a group of viruses that can cause disease in animals or humans. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, dry cough and feeling tired. Other symptoms that some patients may experience less often include aches and pains, nasal congestion, headache, conjunctivitis, sore throat, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, rash on the skin, or discoloration of fingers or toes. The Indonesian government urges the public to maintain productivity even in the midst of the ongoing corona virus pandemic with a new order called the new normal, namely by implementing health protocols. PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya is one of the places where many people do their activities and gather. The existence of this gathering activity can increase the risk of transmitting COVID-19. To prevent transmission, every academic community must always apply the new normal health protocol as recommended by the government, such as wearing masks, washing hands with soap, and maintaining social distancing. So far, health protocol surveillance activities in the campus environment have only relied on the role of security so that it is less effective considering the limited human ability, so a tool is needed to always remind in implementing the new normal health protocol. The tool is in the form of audio using the Ultrasonic HC-SR04 and Arduino Nano sensors. So every object that passes through the sensor will be processed by a microcontroller (Arduino Nano) and then processed into an output in the form of a buzzer. The buzzer that comes out is a voice to remind everyone in the university to implement health protocols.

Abstract

Dispepsia berada pada peringkat ke-10 dengan proporsi 1,5% untuk kategori 10 penyakit terbesar padapasien rawat jalan di seluruh rumah sakit di Indonesia. Prevalensi pasien dispepsia Indonesia di pelayanankesehatan mencakup 30% dari pelayanan dokter umum dan 50% dari pelayanan dokter spesialis gastroenterologi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran peresepan obat dispepsia pada pasien dewasa di KlinikKimia Farma 275 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional yang bersifat deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data secararetrospektif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelusuran data rekam medis dan resep pasien dewasa yangterdiagnosa dispepsia di Klinik Kimia Farma 275 Yogyakarta periode Januari-Maret 2019. Data dianalisa denganmenghitung persentase jenis obat dispepsia, penggolongan obat dispepsia dan dosis yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyakit dispepsia banyak menyerang perempuan , usia yang palingbanyak terkena penyakit dispepsia yaitu usia 18-25 tahun. Penggunaan obat dispepsia dengan jenis lansoprazolepaling banyak diresepkan yaitu mencapai 41,96%, sedangkan untuk golongan obat dispepsia paling banyakdigunakan yaitu golongan Pompa Proton Inhibitor dengan persentase sebesar 51,79%. Kesesuaian dosispenggunaan obat dispepsia dengan IONI adalah 100%.

Abstract

Curriculum structure of Early Childhood Education contains development programswhich cover religion and moral values, physical ability, cognitive, language, social emotionaland arts. These aspects need improvement through learning in Early Childhood Education.Child`s world is world of play. The most effective way a child to learn is through games becausechildren will never bored, they will happy when they played, and with playing the children canlearn a lot about things.Today learning in Early Childhood Education have a lot of distortion. There are a lot ofEarly Childhood Education institution applying learning with teacher centered style, this can beobserve by the children just only sit, hear, and must do their homework without option to chooselearning activity which held. For various Early Childhood Education aspects can developoptimally, needs an innovative learning approach which fun in Early Childhood Education. Abstract

This research aims to analyze underlying factors affecting child malnutrition at Timor Tengah Utara district, NTT. The design was a cross-sectional study. Sample of this study was household that have underfive years old children residing in the areas of Plan International. Data was collected by using structured questionnaire, focus group discussion and in-depth interview. Nutritional status was measured using anthropometric measurement with weight and height indicators and child consumption was recorded using 24 hours food’s recall. Result showed that in three villages prevalence of malnourished children was high, which were 6.0% classified as severe underweight, 15.3% severe stunting and 0.7% severe wasting. There was no significant difference in term of nutritional status. Child malnutrition was influenced by low access to nutrition and health information, low nutrition knowledge and practices, and low family income.

Abstract

Television programs containing violence is now free to be accessed by school age children, particularly children in elementary school. The violent content has negative impact on children, such as bullying behavior to their friends as well as their parents. This research aimed to analyze the influence of television access on bullying behavior among school age children at Bogor villages. This research involved 60 children with age ranges between 10-13 years old in grade 4 and 5. A proportional random sampling in Pamijahan Sub-District, Bogor District was undertaken in this research. Result showed that the intensity of watching television, preferences in watching television, preferences to access violent contents, and impersonation of violent contents significantly correlated to bullying behavior. Multiple linier regression analysis showed that television access and impersonating violent contents had significantly positive effects on bullying behavior on children. Keywords: bullying behavior, elementary school children, impersonating violent contents, rural area, television access Tayangan televisi yang banyak mengandung kekerasan dapat secara bebas diakses oleh anak usia sekolah. Akibatnya, anak dapat berulang-ulang terpapar muatan kekerasan tersebut dan berpotensi meniru adegan kekerasan tersebut dan melakukan perilaku bullying terhadap teman-teman bahkan orangtuanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh akses media televisi terhadap perilaku bullying anak usia sekolah di Perdesaan Bogor. Penelitian ini melibatkan 60 anak usia sekolah berusia 10-13 tahun yang duduk di kelas 4 dan 5 SD yang dipilih secara proportional random sampling. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Kecamatan Pamijahan, Kabupaten Bogor. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lama menonton televisi, preferensi menonton televisi, preferensi mengakses muatan kekerasan, dan peniruan muatan kekerasan berhubungan positif signifikan dengan perilaku bullying. Uji regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa akses media televisi dan peniruan muatan kekerasan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku bullying anak usia sekolah.Kata kunci: akses media televisi, peniruan muatan kekerasan, perdesaan, perilaku  bullying, siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract

Juvenile delinquencies that have increased in the last few years among teenagers in Indonesia need some integrative efforts to overcome. This study analysed influence of parenting styles, methods of socialization, and school environment on character strengths among teenagers. This study also examined what family and school can do to improve their character strengths. This study involved 400 students conducted in 10 senior high schools in rural and urban area in Bogor, West Java Province, Indonesia. The result of this study revealed that some factors in the family (low level of permissive parenting style, high level of authoritative parenting style, higher variations of methods of socialization) and school environment (low of punishment and low violent behavior received in school, higher preference for learning process and condition at school) had significant and positive influence to increase quality of character. Hence, integration of partnership between family and school to strengthen teenagers’ character is discussed further in this study. Keywords: character strengths, methods of socialization, parenting style, school environment Kenakalan remaja yang telah meningkat dalam beberapa tahun terakhqir di kalangan remaja di Indonesia memerlukan upaya integratif. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh gaya pengasuhan, metode sosialisasi, dan lingkungan sekolah pada kekuatan karakter di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini juga meneliti hal yang dapat dilakukan keluarga dan sekolah untuk meningkatkan kekuatan karakter remaja. Penelitian ini melibatkan 400 siswa yang dilakukan di 10 SMA di daerah pedesaan dan perkotaan di Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beberapa faktor dalam keluarga (gaya pengasuhan permisif tingkat rendah, gaya pengasuhan otoritatif tingkat tinggi, metode sosialisasi dengan variasi yang tinggi) dan lingkungan sekolah (tingkat hukuman yang rendah dan perilaku kekerasan yang rendah diterima di sekolah, preferensi yang lebih tinggi untuk proses belajar dan kondisi di sekolah) memiliki pengaruh yang positif signifikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas karakter. Oleh karena itu, integrasi kemitraan antara keluarga dan sekolah untuk memperkuat karakter remaja dibahas lebih lanjut dalam penelitian ini.Kata kunci: gaya pengasuhan, kekuatan karakter, lingkungan sekolah, metode sosialisasi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of parental environment quality and participation in early childhood education on children's character. A sample in this study was randomly selected (random sampling) involving 100 respondents. Data were collected through interviews and observation techniques with the help of questionnaires. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis, independent t-test, and regression test. The results showed that parental environment quality in which their children did not attend early childhood education was better than that whose children attended early childhood education. The results showed that there was a significant effect of parental environment quality on children’s character, and there was no significant effect of participation in early childhood education on children's character.
