Abstract

Lomba UNESCO VIII (Unidayan English Competition) se-Kepulauan Buton tahun 2024 merupakan kegiatan tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasisawa Jurusan (HMJ) Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin. Kompetensi ini melibatkan siswa pada tingkat SD, SMP, dan SMA se-Kepulauan Buton untuk mengukur keterampilan bahasa Inggris mereka dan berfungsi sebagai seleksi untuk menemukan siswa-siswi terbaik yang akan mewakili kabupaten/kota di tingkat provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Sebagai bagian dari Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan dukungan terhadap perkembangan Pendidikan bahasa inggris di kepulauan Buton, Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin melalui Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris berperan aktif dalam kegiatan ini dengan Dosen bertindak sebagai koordinator dan juri lomba dalam menkordinasikan teknikal lomba dan menilai kemampuan peserta. Lomba terdiri dari empat kategori, yakni Poetry (30 peserta, SD), Storytelling (23 peserta, SMP), Ranking I (19 peserta, SMP), dan Public Speaking (10 peserta, SMA). Kegiatan ini berlangsung di Gedung Baruga La Ode Malim, Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin Baubau, dengan standar dan pedoman lomba yang telah disepakati bersama pihak sekolah. Evaluasi keberhasilan dilakukan dengan meninjau tingkat partisipasi, kualitas penampilan berdasarkan rubrik penilaian standar, serta umpan balik dari peserta dan guru pendamping. Hasil lomba menunjukkan bahwa juara pertama bidang Poetry diraih oleh Aswatun Husna (SDN 3 Nganganaumala) dengan nilai 280, sementara Public Speaking dimenangkan oleh Nahla Fuadi (SMA Negeri 2 Baubau) dengan skor 90,2. Untuk lomba Ranking I, sistem gugur diterapkan hingga tersisa tiga peserta terbaik, dengan Yasmin Aninda Dayani (SMPN 1 Baubau) sebagai pemenang utama. Seluruh pemenang telah dipilih melalui proses penjurian yang transparan dan objektif. Lomba ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa, memotivasi mereka dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, serta memperkuat jejaring akademik antar sekolah. Para pemenang akan mewakili Kepulauan Buton di tingkat yang lebih tinggi, sehingga kompetisi ini diharapkan terus berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

Perkembangan era digital yang masif menuntut generasi muda memiliki literasi pendidikan dan teknologi untuk bersaing secara global. Kegiatan ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang pentingnya pendidikan sebagai fondasi meraih peluang yang baik di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyampaian materi melalui presentasi power point interaktif, dilanjutkan sesi tanya jawab untuk mendiskusikan tantangan dan solusi penerapan pendidikan berbasis digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan antusiasme peserta dalam menyimak materi, ditandai partisipasi aktif selama diskusi serta peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan di era digital tidak hanya memerlukan penguasaan teknis, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter kritis, kreatif, dan adaptif sebagai pondasi Generasi Emas 2045. Kegiatan ini menjadi stimulus awal bagi siswa untuk memanfaatkan kemajuan digital secara positif guna mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas peran buku ajar PAI-BP Kelas XI dalam membangun harmoni intern dan ekstern umat beragama di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode studi pustaka dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar PAI-BP telah menekankan pentingnya hidup rukun berdampingan dengan pemeluk agama lain, tetapi efektivitasnya masih bergantung pada metode pengajaran yang digunakan guru. Implementasi pembelajaran PAI-BP di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung juga mencakup berbagai strategi, seperti pendekatan interkatif, diskusi kelompok, menggunakan media social sebagai media dakwah serta sarana edukasi toleransi dan berbagai kegiatan yang mendukung keberagaman. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan seperti kurangya pemahaman sebagian siswa terhadap konsep moderasi beragama dan pengaruh eksternal yang dapat menimbulkan intoleransi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukannya penguatan dalam metode pembelajaran dan mengembangkan kurikulum agar nilai-nilai harmoni beragama dapat dipahami dan diterapkan dengan baik oleh peserta didik.

Abstract

Kecerdasan intelektual (IQ) menyumbang sekitar 20% dalam prestasi hidup seseorang, sedangkan 80 % lainnya dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan lainnya, yang diantaranya adalah kecerdasan emosional (EQ). Dengan strategi yang tepat, diharapkan guru dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional peserta didik agar mampu memahami pembelajaran yang disampaikan, karena akal saja tidak cukup tanpa adanya penghayatan emosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan kecerdasan emosional (Emotional Quotient/EQ) peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menggali strategi guru PAI dalam mengembangkan EQ peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam pengembangan EQ peserta didik strategi yang digunakan yaitu melalui model pembelajaran yang digunakan seperti cooperative learning, quantum learning, dan project based learning. Kemudian metode pembelajaran yang variatif, media pembelajaran yang reflektif, dan evaluasi berbasis reflektif. Serta kegiatan luar kelas seperti shalat berjamaah, tadarus, dan kegiatan perlombaan islam. Kemudian terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi pengembangan EQ peserta didik diantaranya; peran guru, inovasi pembelajaran, fasilitas, peran orang tua dan juga peserta didik itu sendiri.

Abstract

Bhayangkara Trustees of Community Security and Order (in Indonesia called Bhabinkamtibmas) is the front line or spearhead of police services in the Community Police Program which mingles and interacts with the surrounding community on a daily basis. This research used normative-empirical research. The results of this study was to find out whether there was an application of the Community Police Program with a social conflict resolution mechanism based on consensus. The results of research at the Sukoharjo Police found that there were inhibiting factors such as human resources, facilities and infrastructure that needed to be repaired immediately. The challenges faced by the Sukoharjo Police in the success of the Community Police Program need to be overcome in order to create a stable and continuously adaptable Police with social, cultural, economic and political developments. The National Police must be able to protect the community, considering that partnership is a pillar of the success of the Community Police Program.

Abstract

Verdict verstek is a decision handed down by a panel of judges without the presence of the Defendant, and his absence is without a valid reason even though he has been summoned officially and properly. This study uses a normative legal research method with a statutory approach. The purpose of this study is to find out the judge’s consideration of the verstek decision in divorce cases in Decision Number 1916/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Tnk and what reasons made the trial judge in Decision Number 1916/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Tnk decides on divorce cases verstek. The results of the judicial review of the judge’s consideration of the verstek decision in the divorce case in Decision Number 1916/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Tnk is the verstek decision in a contested divorce case. Legal considerations from judges in deciding verstek are contained in Article 149 paragraph 1 Rechtreglement voor de Buitengewesten (RBg). In the absence of the defendant to fulfill the summons without a valid reason, in by Article 125 paragraph 1 and Article 126, the judge can decide verstek. This verstek issue cannot be separated from the provisions of Article 12 Herzien Inlandsch Reglement (HIR), Article 77 Reglement op de Rechtsvordering (Rv) and Article 125 Paragraph 1 HIR, Article 73 Rv and the verstek decision stipulated in Article 125 Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4 HIR. The causes of the court judge deciding the verstek divorce case in Decision Number 1916/Pdt.G/2022/PA.Tnk found causal factors, namely that the defendant never attended court even though he had been summoned properly and officially based on the provisions of the applicable laws. As long as the Defendant is not present and is not caused by a reason justified by law—while the Plaintiff’s lawsuit is not against the law—then based on the provisions of Article 149 R.Bg, the Plaintiff’s lawsuit can be granted verstek. ___ Referensi Buku dengan penulis: Fauzan, M. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the SQ3R learning model on students’ cognitive learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. A quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design was employed. The sample comprised two randomly selected classes: an experimental group (N = 32) taught using the SQ3R model and a control group (N = 32) taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through a validated and reliable multiple-choice posttest assessing cognitive domains of understanding (C2), analyzing (C4), and evaluating (C6). Data analysis included normality testing (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), homogeneity of variance (Levene’s test), independent samples t-test, and effect size calculation (Cohen’s d). Results revealed a statistically significant difference between groups (t(62) = 2.71, p = 0.009), with the experimental group achieving a higher mean score (M = 79.15, SD = 6.10) compared to the control group (M = 73.20, SD = 7.30). The effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.88) indicated a large effect. These findings confirm that the SQ3R model significantly enhances students’ cognitive learning outcomes, particularly in higher-order thinking skills. The study supports implementing the SQ3R learning strategy as a practical approach to improve academic performance in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how a communicative approach and an integrated approach are implemented in learning Indonesian in class VI SD Negeri 1 Gadung Mas. The research design used is a qualitative case study. This design was chosen because it is in accordance with the characteristics of the study, namely the case of BI learning in class VI SD Negeri 1 Gadung Mas which was carried out by a BI teaching teacher in applying the Communicative Approach and Integrated Approach. The data of this research were taken from the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), learning implementation, and learning outcomes carried out by BI teachers for class VI at SD Negeri 1 Gadung Mas. Data were collected by (1) Questionnaire, (2) Interview, (3) Field Notes, (4) Documentation Study, and (5) Observation. The data from the learning implementation component shows the following data. All forms of PBM interactions that have been carried out by teachers have implemented PK. PBM interactions are dominated by students and all communication activities are on the part of students. The interactions that occur are two-way interactions and multi-directional interactions and the most common interactions are two-way interactions. In this PBM the teacher only functions as a communicator, motivator, and facilitator. In PBM interactions 8 times face-to-face in 4 times face-to-face the teacher has implemented PT. The rest, namely 4 face-to-face teachers have not implemented PT. The technique of presenting the material used by the teacher has applied PK. The teacher has chosen a material presentation technique that leads students to actively communicate. In addition, the teacher has created a pleasant learning atmosphere, and prepared a variety of materials, thus encouraging students to learn and use BI in real terms. Of the 8 face-to-face meetings, only 3 face-to-face teachers used the material presentation technique by applying PT. In 5 face-to-face meetings, the teacher did not use the material presentation technique that applied PT. There are 30 evaluation activities (KE) of BI teaching conducted by teachers for 8 face-to-face meetings. Of the 30 ECs, 25 EC teachers have implemented EC and 5 EC have not implemented EC. During 8 face-to-face meetings, in only 3 face-to-face meetings the teacher presented KE by applying PT. Furthermore, in 5 other face-to-face meetings, the teacher did not present the KE who applied PT.

Abstract

Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, 210 relevant publications were found in the Scopus, Taylor and Francis, and Publish or Perish indexed databases, with 44 documents from the 2019-2024 period selected and analyzed. The literature review process follows PRISMA guidelines to ensure the quality of the results, and the data is analyzed using VOSviewer 1.6.20 software. The results show a steady increase in character education publications as a pillar of generational morality, although there was a small decline in 2022. Indonesia is the country with the largest contribution, followed by Turkey and the United States. This study also found that character education is more effective when integrated with experiential-based learning methods and moral reflection. Qualitative methods are the most commonly used approaches, with the main themes including character education, Islamic religious education, character, and education. This analysis shows the development of character education studies with a more holistic approach that includes Islamic values, culture, and pedagogy to form individuals with high morality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Predict, Observe, Explain (POE) learning model on students' learning outcomes in a specific subject. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically a posttest-only control group design. The sample consisted of two eighth-grade classes at SMP Gajah Mada Bandar Lampung, selected through simple random sampling. The experimental class received instruction using the POE model, while the control class was taught using conventional methods. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test designed to assess learning outcomes in the cognitive domains of C3 (application) and C6 (evaluation). The test consisted of 20 items, of which 14 were valid, and had a reliability coefficient of 0.733. Data analysis using an independent samples t-test showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value in Levene’s Test was 0.001, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the research hypothesis was accepted, demonstrating that the use of the POE model has a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. These findings suggest that innovative learning models such as POE are more effective than conventional methods in enhancing students’ higher-order thinking skills.
