Abstract

This study explores the role of the Salawat wa ta'lim majlis at Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in enhancing social cohesion among the surrounding community through increased Islamic understanding and love for the salawat. The majlis serves as a platform to strengthen the relationships between students, alums, and the community through routine activities involving the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, tahlil, salawat, and brief sermons. Using a qualitative approach, this study examines the majlis's role in instilling Islamic values and strengthening the spiritual bonds within the community. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with key informants including leaders of the boarding school and majlis participants. The findings indicate that the majlis activities enhance the participants' religious understanding and strengthen social ties, motivating them to draw closer to Allah. Additionally, the recitation of salawat, particularly salawat Qiyam and Maulid Ad-Diba', positively impacts the spiritual well-being of the participants and fosters a more profound love for Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Pangan adalah segala sesuatu yang diperoleh dari sumber alam dan dapat dikonsumsi untuk mencukupi kebutuhan energi dan gizi. Produk pangan merupakan salah satu aspek terpenting dalam kehidupan manusia, tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sumber energi tetapi juga mendukung pertumbuhan, perkembangan, dan kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Dalam industri pangan, memprediksi kualitas produk merupakan aspek penting untuk menjamin keamanan dan kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian ini menjelaskan penerapan sistem pakar berbasis Deep Learning, khususnya menggunakan Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN) atau jaringan saraf berulang dan analisis prediktif, untuk memprediksi kualitas pangan. RNN memiliki kemampuan menganalisis data berkelanjutan, yang sangat relevan dengan kualitas pangan, yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, seperti suhu, kelembapan, dan waktu penyimpanan. Penelitian ini mengulas berbagai penelitian yang menunjukkan efektivitas RNN dalam prediksi kualitas makanan dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk pengembangan sistem pakar yang lebih akurat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data yang dikumpulkan dari artikel jurnal terkait yang relevan dan di terbitkan dalam rentang tahun 2021 hingga 2024. Metode atau teknik yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Studi Literature Review, yaitu suatu penelusuran dan penelitian kepustakaan dengan cara membaca dan menelaah berbagai jurnal, buku, dan berbagai naskah terbitan lainnya yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian untuk menghasilkan sebuah tulisan yang berkenaan dengan topik atau isu tertentu. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mengintegrasikan RNN dan analisis prediktif dapat meningkatkan akurasi prediksi sekitar 90% dan mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik di industri makanan.

Abstract

Penerapan algoritma Gradient Boosting dalam klasifikasi penyakit diabetes tipe 2 telah menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan akurasi diagnosis. Penelitian inimengkajiberbagai studi yang menggunakan Gradient Boosting untuk memprediksi diabetes tipe 2 dengan memanfaatkan dataset medis. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa algoritma ini mampu mencapai akurasi hingga 82%, lebih baik dibandingkan dengan metode lain seperti Random Forest dan Naïve Bayes. Dengan mengidentifikasi fitur-fitur penting yang berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan diabetes, Gradient Boosting tidak hanya meningkatkan akurasi tetapi juga memberikan wawasan berharga untuk pencegahan dan pengelolaan penyakit ini. Hasil penelitian ini mendemonstrasikan potensi machine learning dalam diagnosis dini diabetes, yang penting untuk pengelolaan kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi terus menjadi faktor penting dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi era digital. Artikel ini membahas implementasi program pengenalan teknik informatika di SMA La Tahzan, Rangkasbitung, sebagai langkah awal memperluas wawasan teknologi siswa. Program ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai teknologi informasi, pemrograman, dan penerapan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pembelajaran interaktif berbasis proyek, simulasi perangkat lunak, dan diskusi kelompok untuk meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap teknik informatika, yang ditandai dengan kemampuan siswa untuk menyelesaikan tugas-tugas sederhana, seperti pembuatan website dasar dan algoritma sederhana. Selain itu, program ini juga memotivasi siswa untuk menjajaki karier di bidang teknologi, yang sebelumnya kurang dikenal di daerah tersebut. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi di sekolah dan rendahnya literasi digital sebagian siswa. Oleh karena itu, pelibatan pihak eksternal, seperti perguruan tinggi atau industri, serta peningkatan dukungan infrastruktur, menjadi langkah penting untuk keberlanjutan program ini. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengenalan teknologi di tingkat pendidikan menengah untuk meningkatkan kesiapan generasi muda menghadapi perkembangan teknologi global. Dengan demikian, inovasi seperti ini diharapkan dapat diadopsi oleh institusi pendidikan lain sebagai bagian dari upaya membangun SDM yang kompetitif dan melek teknologi.

Abstract

The emergence of collaborative learning praxis among adult learners has gained prominence, fostering lifelong practical learning. This approach empowers adults to define their learning goals based on interests and needs, facilitating contextual information sharing, knowledge acquisition, and skill enhancement. Such an approach promotes innovation and creativity, strengthening market competitiveness. This study focuses on collaborative learning’s impact in the village of Sukodono, East Java, Indonesia, post-COVID-19. Collaborative learning facilitated skill development, innovation, and market influence. Action research was employed to restore economic well-being. Themes of healthy environment preservation, community self-help, and market power were explored. The villagers’ adoption of biogas technology, digital platforms for product promotion, and focus on high-demand products showcased the efficacy of collaborative learning. This praxis enhances economic conditions and knowledge acquisition, enabling sustainable community development. Further quantitative studies are recommended to assess long-term impacts.

Abstract

Evaluasi program pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di madrasah merupakan komponen penting untuk menjamin mutu dan efektivitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Akan tetapi, praktik evaluasi program Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Aliyah seringkali bersifat parsial dan terbatas pada penilaian capaian pembelajaran peserta didik. Padahal, terdapat berbagai model evaluasi program yang dapat diterapkan untuk menghasilkan suatu evaluasi yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi model evaluasi program pembelajaran PAI yang dapat diterapkan di Madrasah Aliyah, menganalisis kesesuaiannya dan implementasinya untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran PAI di Madrasah Aliyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan mengkaji program pembelajaran PAI di beberapa Madrasah Aliyah di Jawa Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa model evaluasi program pembelajaran PAI yang dapat diterapkan di Madrasah Aliyah, dengan fokus pada evaluasi berbasis tujuan, evaluasi berbasis pemangku kepentingan, dan evaluasi responsif. Model-model tersebut dievaluasi berdasarkan kesesuaiannya dengan konteks, ruang lingkup, dan ketersediaan sumber daya.

Abstract

The obligation of parents in caring for and educating children is explained in Law number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage, namely in Article 45 paragraphs (1) and (2), also explained in the Al-Qur'an Al-Luqman verses 12-19 concerning the obligations of parents in providing monotheism, faith and morals education to children. Furthermore, what if the obligations as parents are carried out by mentally retarded couples, of course it is different from normal people who are considered to understand state law and are burdened with religious law. Meanwhile, from the data the researchers obtained from 2018 to 2022, there were 7 (seven) cases of marriages of mentally retarded couples in Karangpatihan Village, Balong District, Ponorogo Regency, of course the mentally retarded couple can be said not to carry out their obligations as parents in caring for and educating children like normal people in general. This research is a type of qualitative research with an approach to laws and the Koran. The data collection method was carried out by observation and interviews. The data description method is described descriptively. The purpose of this study is to examine how mentally retarded couples in Karangpatihan Village fulfill their obligations as parents from the perspective of the Marriage Law and Al-Qur'an Al-Luqman verses 12-19 based on the analysis of Ibnu Katsir's interpretation. From the results of the study, parents with mental retardation fulfill their obligations as parents in a way that they can do.

Abstract

This study explores the transformation of Islamic boarding school education, focusing on two key aspects: revitalization and modernization. Revitalization involves renewing educational programs to enhance their effectiveness, while modernization refers to evolving the Islamic education system to improve its quality. The research aims to analyze the historical leadership of Kyai Muafi Zaini in these movements, assess community responses to the changes, and evaluate the outcomes for alumni and the broader community. Utilizing qualitative historical research methods heuristic data collection, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography the study verifies data through credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability checks. Findings reveal that Kyai Muafi Zaini, a prominent figure born in 1947 and deceased in 2006, played a significant role in revitalizing and modernizing Islamic boarding school education, particularly in Sampang Regency. He was a charismatic leader who established several formal educational institutions, including MTs Nazhatut Thullab and SMA Nazhatut Thullab. Through these institutions, he implemented significant transformation efforts that not only contributed to the improvement of community welfare but also played a crucial role in changing the local perception of education in Sampang. Zaini's contributions were pivotal in enhancing the quality of education in the region, as well as in shifting the negative stigma traditionally associated with Islamic education. His vision and dedication fostered a learning environment that encouraged academic excellence and personal growth. His legacy as a committed scholar and influential community leader continues to inspire and shape the educational landscape, ensuring that future generations benefit from the foundation he helped create.

Abstract

Humans are influenced by digitalization in all aspects of their lives; changes in thinking and way of life are inevitable. The emergence of various social media platforms with potentially destructive values ​​is one of the most concerning issues. Thus, philosophy can offer an opportunity for the millennial generation to be an example for civilized people in the struggle against unpleasant irrationality. In this study, the researcher used the Library Research method in his research. By having philosophical thinking, millennials will have better filters in sorting and utilizing digital technology today.

Abstract

The Kyai leadership model in Islamic boarding schools plays a major role in improving the performance of educators and education personnel. As a leader, at least he must be able to influence, motivate, protect, and guide his subordinates to have significant performance quality. Thus, optimal performance is directly proportional to the institution's success in achieving its vision, mission, and goals. This study was conducted to find out how the Kyai leadership management model is carried out at the Ibnussabil Santan Tengah Islamic Boarding School in improving the quality of performance of educators and education personnel from a philosophical perspective. The research method uses a qualitative approach by describing the leadership management model used in improving the quality of performance of educators and education personnel, in this case, interviews and documentation are the data collection techniques. The results of the study showed that there is no best leader model because all types of leadership must be used according to the situation or circumstances to improve the quality of performance of educators and education personnel effectively.   Keywords: Leadership Management Model, Performance of Educators, and Education Staff
