The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out the effect of critical thinking skills and science skills on digital literacy of class VIII F and VIII G students of SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi in terms of gender. The research method used is a mixed method with an explanatory design. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with a sample of 56 students. The instruments used were critical thinking skills essay tests, KPS observation sheets, digital literacy questionnaires, and interview sheets. The quantitative data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics, while the qualitative data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman technique. The results of multiple linear regression tests show that there is an influence of critical thinking skills and science process skills on digital literacy. From the interview results it is known that critical thinking skills, science process skills, and digital literacy are classified as good. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between critical thinking skills and science process skills on students' digital literacy.

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of student learning activeness on students' attitudes in science subjects in junior high schools in Jambi City. The research method used is a mixed research method with an explanatory design. The population in this study were all students of junior high school18 Jambi City, junior high 21 Jambi City, and students of junior high school 24 Jambi City. The number of samples used was 250 students. The research data were obtained by distributing a questionnaire on student learning and attitude questionnaires in science subjects, as well as conducting interviews with students. Furthermore, the data were analyzed quantitatively by type simple regression as well as with inferential statistics. The results showed that student learning activeness influenced attitudes in science subjects with a contribution of 15.2% influence while the remaining 84.8% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study, hereinafter referred to as intervening variables. Furthermore, from the calculation of the t-test values obtained t arithmetic greater than t table (20 299 1.650971), which means Ha (accepted) or there is an influence on the attitudes of students' learning activeness in science subjects. From the results of this effect, the regression equation is obtained, namely Y = 111.113 + 0.334x. So it can be concluded that if students have good learning activeness, then students will also show a good attitude in learning, especially in learning science.

Dari studi literatur diketahui bahwa masih terdapat siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi listrik statis. Oleh karena itu dilakukan observasi mengenai miskonsepsi siswa SMAN 9 Kota Jambi untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep siswa dalam mempelajari materi listrik statis dan bagaimana guru melakukan identifikasi untuk melihat miskonsepsi siswa. Dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15 Maret 2021 di SMAN 9 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu wawancara bebas terpemimpin kepada guru fisika dan tiga siswa kelas XII IPA. Wawancara yang dilakukan terkait mengenai ruang lingkup pembelajaran fisika dan miskonsepsi siswa pada pembelajaran fisika. Dari hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep fisika salah satunya materi listrik statis. Guru belum pernah memberikan tes diagnostik kepada siswa untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa dikarenakan belum tersedianya instrumen tes diagnostik untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa di SMAN 9 Kota Jambi dan juga guru belum pernah mengengembangan tes diagnostik miskonsepsi. Sehingga diperlukannya instrument tes diagnostik miskonsepsi untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki oleh siswa agar nantinya dapat dilakukan penanganan yang tepat oleh guru untuk mengurangi miskonsepsi tersebut.

Peace-loving character plays an important role in helping children develop a superior personality. E-modules can draw students' attention and making learning enjoyable. This can helping children in develop a superior personality. The purpose of this study was to analyse the use of the Tarompa e-module on students' peace-loving characters and to find out whether there is influence and comparison in the use of the e-module with peace-loving characters in elementary schools. This study used quantitative research by comparing 4 schools with a total of 68 students. This study is use questionnaire instrument. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical test and inferential test in the form of assumption and hypothesis testing.The results of this study are that there is a comparison and there is an effect of using the tarompa e-module on the peace-loving character of elementary students. The results of this study can be used as teaching resources to help students learn about the variety of Tarompa local wisdom. The research recommendation is to use an electronic module based on Tarompa local wisdom which can be used to teach other characters.

Mathematics physics is a difficult learning and becomes a scourge in studies in physics education. Learning physics and mathematics itself will be very effective when using e-modules, but in terms of making e-modules, students' opinions or perceptions are needed regarding this matter. This study aims to look at student perceptions and also compare these perceptions with other classes based on gender or gender. The research conducted is a survey type quantitative research. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the research subject as many as 92 physics education students who contracted the mathematics physics course. The instrument used in collecting data is 15 questions containing 4 choices that must be filled out by students. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of descriptive analysis and ANOVA test to determine whether there is an average difference in each student's perception. The results obtained indicate that girls have different perceptions in class A and class B, while for boys there is a difference between class A and class C. These results indicate that girls have a fairly large average difference in perception with each other, while for boys the perception tends to be uniform compared to girls.

Pandemic Covid-19 requires people to carry out their activities from home, or in other words, online. Likewise, all educational activities are carried out online to avoid and break the pandemic virus's transmission chain. This study examines the effect of students’ perceptions and attitudes on student awareness of doing online assignments due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic affecting learning in education. Learning that initially took place traditionally (face to face) shifted to virtual learning (online learning). The research method uses mixed methods with a sequential explanatory design with a total sample of 312 students of physics education at the University of Jambi. The instruments in this study used questionnaires and interviews. The data will be analyzed using SPSS 21. The research results show that students' perceptions, attitudes, and awareness in carrying out their assignments online are in a good category. This fact shows a significant effect of perceptions and attitudes on students' awareness of doing assignments online. It is evidenced by the effect of 70.5% of students 'perceptions and attitudes on students' awareness of doing assignments online. The remaining 29.5% is influenced by other variables not found in this study.

Students' attitudes and self-efficacy are very important in science subjects. With a good attitude and self-efficacy, learning will be easier and more enjoyable. This study aims to examine the attitudes and self-efficacy of female and male students from two classes, namely VII A and VII B in junior high school. This research is a type of quantitative survey research. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the research subjects as many as 74 junior high school students studying science. The instrument used in data collection was 28 questions containing 5 choices that must be filled out by students. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of descriptive analysis and T test and correlation test to determine whether there is a comparison and relationship between students' attitudes and efficacy towards science. The results obtained indicate that there are significant differences and relationships between attitudes and self-efficacy of female and male students. These results indicate that male students have an average attitude and good self-efficacy compared to female students at the junior high school level

Science process skills are skills that students must have in processing the scientific knowledge they have acquired. Both knowledge gained from the environment and digital media with literacy skills. So the ability to argue scientifically is needed to be able to convey information obtained scientifically so that it can solve problems in everyday life. Therefore, this study aims to analyze students' science process skills, argumentation skills, and digital literacy. The method used in this study is the explanatory mix method. The population in this study were students of MAN 5 Batanghari, while the sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, namely students of class X IPA with a total of 35 students. The data collection instruments in this study were in the form of interview sheets, digital literacy questionnaires, and essay questions. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical methods. Gender-based SPS for students with dominant results (always good) is female. Then the ability to argue is also more in the female gender. Meanwhile, digital literacy that has the maximum value is male students

Education has a very important role in educating the life of the nation. Education should not only give birth to someone who is an expert in a particular field, but also includes how someone is able to bring themselves in a community, nation and state environment in accordance with applicable norms and rules. Therefore, the character of responsibility and attitude towards subjects is very important for every individual. However, education that is happening at this time still does not provide space for students to behave honestly because the learning process tends to teach moral education and character limited to the knowledge written in the text. Therefore this study was designed to see how the relationship between attitude and student responsibility towards science subjects especially junior high students. This study is a mix of correlational type associative method research. The procedure of this study began by following the procedure in stages. In the preparation stage, it is done by formulating the problem and its variables. Then a literature review is conducted, looking for supporting theories and deepening the discussion of the problem under study in order to obtain an overview of the research to be carried out as well as the instruments needed. At the stage of questionnaire data questionnaire data collection was given to 136 students in Adhyaksa 1 Junior High School, Jambi City. From the data, data analysis is then carried out, namely data coding, proper data collection and analysis of the data. The data analysis technique uses correlational tests to find out whether there is a relationship between attitude and responsibility. The results of this study indicate a relationship between attitude and responsibility with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.000 0.05 so that it can be concluded that there is a relationship between attitude and responsibility in Adhyaksa 1 Junior High School, Jambi City

Science process skills are very important to be mastered by students to help improve critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between science process skills and critical thinking skills in terms of gender. This type of research used is an experiment with a quantitative research approach. The sampling technique in this study was a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 50 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets of science process skills and critical thinking skills test questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the correlation test that has been carried out, the Pearson correlation value is 0.648, which means that there is a strong relationship between science process skills and students' thinking skills. This research can be used as a guideline for scientific process skills research on critical thinking skills in the future. The update in this research is the relationship between science process skills and critical thinking skills based on gender
