Abstract

Background: Samakisast Wittaya School is an Islamic educational institution that inherently integrates Islamic values in its curriculum. This Islamic boarding school not only aims to educate students in religious aspects but also in academic and practical aspects of life, including finance. In Thailand, the Muslim population, particularly in the Sadao region, has limited access to financial education that complies with sharia principles. Introducing sharia financial literacy in Islamic schools such as Samakisast Wittaya School can help overcome this gap. Although Thailand has several Islamic financial institutions, the dissemination of information and understanding about these products and services is still limited, especially among Muslim communities in remote or minority areas. Contribution: Increasing sharia financial literacy can help students and surrounding communities become more economically independent, opening up opportunities for entrepreneurship in accordance with sharia law. The importance of sharia financial literacy in Islamic educational institutions such as the Samakisast Wittaya School in Sadao, Thailand, is very significant in helping the development of the community as a whole. Method: The implementation method is through counseling accompanied by interactive discussions. The target is the students of Samakisasst Wittaya School, Sadao, Thailand, totaling 60 students. The problem that arose during the discussion was the issue of the financial attitudes and behavior of students who did not understand correct financial planning, and did not understand the priority scale of primary, secondary and tertiary needs. Results: The team provides solutions regarding the correct meaning of wealth, saving discipline, and the need to make correct financial planning to achieve individual financial resilience. Conclusion: Community service has opened students' thinking and awareness of the importance of students' financial literacy.

Abstract

Breast milk has an ideal nutritional content for babies according to the needs to grow and develop optimally. Indonesia has a very rich diversity of foodstuffs, one of the habits of the Indonesian people is to regularly consume certain vegetables during breastfeeding. However, some vegetables are not yet popular for breastfeeding mothers to consume even though they contain many benefits such as banana heart, young papaya and spinach. The purpose of this literature review is to provide an evidence-based study on the potential of local vegetables that are commonly consumed during breastfeeding in Indonesia but the content of galaktogogum is not widely known, namely: papaya, spinach, and banana heart. This article is a literature review that discusses the potential of local plants as a source of galactogues. Article search involves 2 databases, namely PUBMED and Google Scholar. The keywords used are: ("Milk, Human"[Mesh]) AND "Galactogogues"[Mesh] AND PAPAYA". ("Milk, Human"[Mesh]) AND "Galactogogues"[Mesh] AND banana flower". ("Milk, Human"[Mesh]) AND "Galactogogues"[Mesh] AND Spinach". ("Milk, Human"[Mesh]) AND "Galactogogues"[Mesh] AND Spinach. Banana hearts, young papayas, and spinach are vegetables that are able to increase breast milk production through galactogue compounds and their derivatives. The saponins contained in the heart of bananas and young papaya can increase the activity of the hormone oxytocin in the myoepithelial cells surrounding the alveolus and ductus. Meanwhile, the phytoestrogen content in spinach can cause biological effects similar to estrogen that are able to increase breast milk production.

Abstract

Abstract

This study focuses on enhancing the vocabulary mastery skills of kindergarten teachers by employing the Show and Tell (S&T) method. The research adopts a quantitative approach, specifically utilizing experimental research design. A total of 12 kindergarten teachers from TK Khalifah 3 Banda Aceh participated in this study. Data collection was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests, using multiple-choice questions designed to assess vocabulary mastery. The instruments measured specific indicators, including mastery of standard language, completion of gap sentences, identification of synonyms, and recognition of antonyms. The collected data were analyzed using the T-test formula to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Show and Tell (S&T) strategy significantly improved the vocabulary mastery of the teachers involved. This improvement is attributed to the interactive and engaging nature of the S&T method, which encourages teachers to participate actively and develop their language skills in a more meaningful and practical manner. The study concludes that the Show and Tell (S&T) strategy is an effective tool for enhancing vocabulary skills among kindergarten teachers, equipping them with the linguistic proficiency necessary for their teaching roles. This research highlights the importance of innovative teaching methods in professional development and underscores the potential of active learning strategies in improving language skills among educators. Further studies are recommended to explore the long-term impact of the S&T method and its applicability across different educational contexts.

Abstract

This study was conducted at the Transportation and Informatics Service of Bungo Regency over a one-month period, specifically in February 2016. Its objective was to examine, describe, and analyze the implementation of telecommunications tower levies managed by the Bungo Regency Transportation Service. It also aimed to investigate the efforts made by the service to increase Regional Original Income through these levies and to identify and analyze the obstacles faced by the service in raising telecommunications tower levies in Bungo Regency to enhance Regional Original Income (PAD). Employing a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the research sought to understand the issues occurring at a particular place and time. The findings of the study revealed that management, often referred to as administration, is a systematic process aimed at achieving goals through planning, organizing, activating, and supervising. The efforts undertaken by the Bungo Regency Transportation and Informatics Service included outreach activities, enhanced supervision, establishment of cellular zones, and improvement of facilities and infrastructure for levy payment. The underlying issues in formulating levy policies to regulate telecommunications towers in Bungo Regency included the proliferation of such towers potentially turning Bungo Regency into a tower city. Additionally, ensuring legal certainty for entrepreneurs was crucial, ensuring clarity for telecommunications tower owners regarding imposed levies. Non-compliant tower construction concerning spatial planning aspects further complicated the policy formulation, with the levy intended to contribute to increased regional income for Bungo Regency.

Abstract

Students engage in more than just receiving and listening to the teacher's explanations throughout the learning process. It is also necessary for students to actively engage in the learning process. Using a game-based approach to teach Aqidah Akhlak helps motivate pupils to participate more in class. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the use of game-based learning techniques affects students' active learning in the Islamic Religious Education class XII Science at MAN 3 Agam. Utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design and the Pre-Experiment approach, this study is quantitative in nature. There are two variables in this study: the dependent variable is learning interest, and the independent variable is the game-based learning approach. The students who completed the questionnaire were the ones that provided the data. Using purposive sampling, a sampling approach, the study's sample consisted of 25 students out of the total population of 69 pupils. There is a significant difference between the dependent and independent variables when the decision-making has a significant value less than 0.05. When considering the student questionnaire, the sig value comes out at 0.001, indicating a substantial impact on the treatment differences for each variable. It follows that the adoption of game-based learning techniques influences students' curiosity in Aqidah Akhlak class XI Science at MAN 3 Agam.

Abstract

This study investigates consumers' perceptions of the utility of electric vehicles and the effectiveness of social media marketing efforts on EV purchase intentions. Marketers and lawmakers must understand the drivers of electric vehicle adoption in light of increasing concerns about environmental sustainability and technological development. The research strategy adopted for the study is a quantitative approach based on a survey. A cross-section of social media users exposed to advertisements regarding electric vehicles were surveyed. The perceived utility of EVs includes environmental advantages, cost savings, and performance measured by the questionnaire, as well as the exposure to social media marketing activities and intention to purchase. Regression analysis is used as the analytical approach to finding how the variables relate. Therefore, a positive relationship exists between social media marketing efforts and perceived usefulness intending to purchase. In instances where consumers are subjected to persuasive social media advertisements describing the benefits of EVs, and when they view an EV as practical, they show a greater tendency to express an intention to buy. The practical implications of this study will help marketers devise social media ads that successfully promote electric vehicle adoption; it also adds to the literature on sustainable consumerism. This study's results will benefit politicians who want to encourage the switch toward electric mobility.
