Abstract

Physical inactivity is a significant risk factor for numerous chronic diseases, including cardiovascular conditions and type 2 diabetes, particularly in aging populations. Resistance training has been shown to reduce systemic inflammation and preserve muscle mass, which can mitigate the impacts of aging. However, the regressive effects of detraining on older adults' health outcomes remain underexplored. This study aimed to investigate the effect of a three-month detraining period following a nine-month multicomponent training program on cardiorespiratory fitness, lipid profiles, glycemic control, and hemodynamic status in older women. Fifty-six Asian women aged 58–70 were divided into an experimental group (EG) and a control group (CG). The EG participated in a nine-month exercise program, which included cardiorespiratory, strength, balance, and flexibility training. After this, both groups underwent three months of detraining. The results showed that the EG experienced significant declines in body weight, BMI, and cardiorespiratory fitness following detraining, with adverse effects on lipid and glycemic profiles. The findings suggest that even a short period of detraining can lead to the loss of metabolic and functional benefits from long-term exercise, emphasizing the importance of maintaining regular physical activity to sustain health in aging populations.

Abstract

Having a good image for an organization turns out to be in line with profits. Even the accumulation of images that have been nurtured for a long time is also believed to be able to produce a reputation that will become a weapon in competition and make it easier to gain profits. Vice versa, if an organization produces a bad image, then the organization is said to be facing the threat of loss. This means that image is able to determine the public's impression of the company, while the public's impression determines an organization's profit. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, also known as artificial intelligence in broadcasting news, is tvOne's private television strategy in forming a positive public impression from viewers' trust in news programs. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is believed to shorten working time, analyze and sharpen information. This understanding is expected to be able to gain public trust so as to create a positive image of organizational achievements.

Internships are widely recognized as a vital component of higher education, providing students with practical experience and enhancing their employability. This research reviews existing literature to examine the impact of internships on the development of professional skills. This study employs a quantitative research method. The data in this study consists of responses regarding professional skills, social skills, and internship placements obtained through a questionnaire on Google Forms. The respondents in this study totaled 49 individuals who are participants of MSIB internship program in PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, which come from universities all over Indonesia, including the University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, Airlangga University, Malang State University, Brawijaya University, and Bandung Institute of Technology. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively with the help of the SPSS application. At the MSIB internship program in PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk 96.74% of students stated that they gained advantages regarding professional skill while attending the internships program, while 96.16% of students were satisfied with the learning process during the internship. The findings indicate that internships significantly improve various competencies essential for career success, including effective communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, stress tolerance, and decision-making. Internships also offer valuable insights into specific industries, clarify career goals, and provide opportunities for networking. Despite the overwhelmingly positive impact, areas such as leadership development and career relevance require further attention. The study suggests integrating structured internship programs into academic curricula, enhancing leadership opportunities, aligning placements with career aspirations, and providing training on soft skills. By implementing these recommendations, educational institutions and organizations can maximize the benefits of internships, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their professional careers.

Abstract

This study examines the personality competencies of Islamic Religious Education teachers from the perspective of the Qur'an, focusing on the gap between theoretical ideals and practical implementation in the field. Despite clear Qur'anic guidance on noble morals, honesty, exemplary behavior, and responsibility, many teachers face challenges in applying these values in their professional lives. This research utilizes a library-based approach, involving the collection and analysis of data from books, scientific journal articles, and research reports. The data collection techniques include document analysis and literature review. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively, involving thematic coding to identify relevant themes related to the Qur'an’s teachings on teacher competencies. The findings underscore that an ideal Islamic teacher embodies obedience to religious, legal, and social norms, as illustrated in Surah An-Nisa (4:59). Honesty and integrity are crucial, highlighted in Surah An-Nisa (4:69), emphasizing the role model nature of teachers. Noble morals, inspired by Prophet Muhammad as depicted in Surah Al-Qalam (68:4) and Surah Al-Ahzab (33:21), serve as models for conduct. Leadership and wisdom, as conveyed in Surah Al-Furqan (25:63) and Surah Al-Mujadila (58:11), aid teachers in guiding students effectively. A strong work ethic and responsibility are essential, as reflected in Surah An-Naml (27:88), while humility, in line with the teachings of Surah Luqman (31:18), should temper professional pride. This research contributes to the development of more spiritually grounded and morally upright Islamic teachers by aligning their competencies with Qur'anic principles.

Abstract

A mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. Worship activities here have a broad meaning, notonly for praying and reciting but for all activities that can bring benefit to the world and the hereafter. Mosques can also be used as a means of informal education for people who cannotattend formal education, and are not bound by age, whether old or young, therefore it is necessary to hold a ta'lim assembly.
