Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media based on virtual tours of local products in Lebak Regency and measure its effectiveness in improving media literacy and understanding of social studies learning concepts of elementary school students. The method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design, involving 64 grade IV students who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that used virtual tour media and a control group that used conventional learning methods. The virtual tour media is designed to introduce Lebak's local products, such as handicrafts, typical foods, and the production process, so that students can learn interactively without distance and time restrictions. Data was obtained through media literacy tests, social studies comprehension tests, observation sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using parametric statistical tests, including normality tests, homogeneity, independent sample t-tests, and normalized gain analysis (N-Gain). The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in media literacy and social studies comprehension compared to the control group. In addition, students in the experimental group responded positively to the use of virtual tour media. The virtual tour media has proven to be effective not only to increase students' understanding of the learning material, but also to strengthen their appreciation of local wisdom. The recommendation for further research is the development of similar media that can be implemented in other subjects with different local contexts.

Abstract

Facing the complexity of 21st century educational challenges, transforming primary school management is a strategic necessity to promote sustainable innovation. This study aims to evaluate managerial practices in primary schools undergoing a reform process to identify key factors that support and hinder the realization of educational innovation. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving several primary schools as research sites. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation and institutional document analysis, then analyzed thematically with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that the transformational leadership of the principal, the integration of technology in learning, and the implementation of an authentic assessment system are the main drivers of the creation of an innovative climate in the school environment. On the other hand, resistance to change, limited infrastructure and lack of continuous professional development programs are the main obstacles in the transformation process. This research emphasizes the importance of cross-stakeholder collaboration, strengthening human resource capacity, and adaptive and visionary leadership as the main foundations for successful transformative education management. The practical implications of these findings point to the need for policies that support the creation of a responsive, inclusive and future-oriented school ecosystem.

Abstract

This paper examines local culture and traditions as representations or means of accommodation for the socio-economic and cultural expectations of the Banjar community, particularly among women. Specifically, this paper explores how the Banjar community, especially Banjar women, build, grow, and transform knowledge through the reading of Siti Khadijah’s manaqib. The recitation of Siti Khadijah’s manaqib is a tradition among Banjar women, and it is performed on various occasions during specific religious rituals. In particular, the recitation of Siti Khadijah’s manaqib is also routinely carried out in religious institutions on the 11th day of each Hijri month. Banjar women in this study play an active role in socio-cultural transformation. An important finding in this study is that religious institutions, especially the ritual of reading Siti Khadijah’s manaqib, are a dynamic expression of Banjar women’s social and economic spirit. Through religious institutions, primarily through the ritual of reading Siti Khadijah’s manaqib, women play a role in dynamizing the economy and teaching worldly asceticism. Siti Khadijah’s reading of manaqib reflects how local communities foster and raise hopes for prosperity, ensuring the sustainability of life and society.

Abstract

This research aims to discover the meaning of the philosophy of Sa Tidar as a symbol and meaning in the practice of life in Bukit Tidar, meaning that every wrong will be caught in every behavior in life. It means that honesty is part of one's integrity in action. Javanese thick norms impact social sanctions through community appreciation and rejection. The value of Sa Tidar is very relevant in the Civic Disposition value order as a reinforcement in community life. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. Then, the data was validated through source and method triangulation. This research used Miles and Huberman's model: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to analyze the data. The results showed that the validity of Sa Tidar philosophy in strengthening Civic Disposition through (1) the meaning of Sa Tidar values has excellent relevance in shaping civic disposition as a pillar of social life. (2) The philosophy of Sa Tidar serves as a moral guide that integrates the values of religiosity and character in everyday life.

Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter privat dan publik mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi tingkat karakter mahasiswa (civic disposition) dengan menggunakan media Edugame berbasis Living Values Education (LVE). Penelitian ini menggunakan mix-methods dengan sampel jenuh 58 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner skala Likert (skor 1-5) dan wawancara terstruktur, yang dianalisis dengan aplikasi SPSS 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata civic disposition mahasiswa berkisar antara 3,71 hingga 4,29, menunjukkan persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis Edugame. Selain itu, hasil reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,953, menandakan konsistensi yang tinggi. Kemudian variabel karakter mahasiswa untuk menghormati, melindungi, dan menggunakan hak yang dimiliki secara setara kepada setiap orang (X3) mendapatkan penghargaan tinggi responden dan variabel karakter mahasiswa untuk berpartisipasi secara bertanggungjawab dalam kehidupan politik/kewarganegaraan (X4) mendapatkan skor terendah. Responden lebih memilih media visual dan interaktif, seperti Peraga, Presentasi, Edugame, dan Video untuk meningkatkan civic disposition warga negara. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media Edugame berbasis LVE dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai media pembelajaran yang interaktif dan meningkatkan karakter mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan karakter, nilai dan budaya lokal yang ada di Indonesia. Dimana pendidikan karakter, nilai dan budaya dewasa ini menjadi isu sentral yang menarik untuk dikaji dari berbagai disimplin ilmu. Hal ini dikarenakan pendidikan karakter dan nilai yang dikemas dalam budaya dinilai mampu menjadikan generasi mendatang mencintai budaya mereka (budaya lokal) dan nusantara. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pendidikan karakter dan nilai dalam budaya lokal, khususnya bagi kalangan Dayak Iban Sebaruk yang dikemas dalam tradisi ‘Matah Bunga’. Tradisi ini tidak hanya sebagai ritual adat, tetapi juga sarana pendidikan informal yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur seperti gotong royong, penghormatan terhadap alam, roh leluhur, Petara (Tuhan) dan kebersamaan (equality). Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana tradisi tersebut dijalankan dan diinternalisasi oleh masyarakat, serta implikasinya terhadap pengembangan karakter, nilai dan budaya lokal yang perlu terus dilestarikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran tradisi seperti Gawai Adat Matah Bunga ini dapat menjadi salah satu sarana bagi warga dalam bersilaturahmi, menjalin kebersamaan dan memupuk persaudaraan dalam menjaga budaya lokal.

Abstract

Studi ini menguji efektivitas model Brain-Based Learning yang terintegrasi dengan Heart-Based Learning dalam meningkatkan Creative Citizenship pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas kelas 10 dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Validitas konstruk diuji menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis, menghasilkan pemuatan faktor >0,5, nilai analisis faktor 0,737, dan 72,1% total varians yang dijelaskan, mengonfirmasi validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimental dengan 32 siswa, efektivitas diukur melalui skor N-Gain, menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dengan rata-rata 0,637 (kategori sedang), dengan sebagian besar siswa mencapai N-Gain >0,7. Hasil uji beda menunjukan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara pre test dan post test yang ditunjukan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.00. Model Brain-based Learning dan Heart-based Learning mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam advokasi sosial, aksi kolektif, dan penciptaan konten digital yang mempromosikan nilai-nilai demokrasi. Hasil menegaskan bahwa mengintegrasikan aspek kognitif dan afektif meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam kewarganegaraan kreatif. Penelitian interdisipliner ini mengidentifikasi mekanisme pedagogis yang mengoptimalkan fungsi otak sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan kewarganegaraan yang relevan dengan konteks sosial budaya Indonesia, memperluas paradigma epistemologis dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan dengan menggabungkan dimensi emosional, moral, dan spiritual ke dalam kerangka pembelajaran berbasis ilmu saraf.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Latar belakang masalah mengidentifikasi rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP di bidang ini, seperti yang tercermin dari nilai Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS). Salah satu penyebab utama adalah kurangnya partisipasi dan inisiatif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, studi ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Lembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model RADEC mengalami kenaikan rata-rata 30,55 poin, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya 13,65 poin. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model RADEC lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional, dengan selisih peningkatan 16,90 poin. Hasil uji hipotesis (uji independent sample t-test) menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan pada tes akhir (p = <0,001). Kondisi ini menyebabkan Hipotesis Alternatif (H1) diterima dan Hipotesis Nol (H0) ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran RADEC berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai nilai lokal yang ada pada institusi pengajian dan telah menjadi pola pembelajaran dengan semangat profetik dan kemudian mengemasnya menjadi sumber belajar. Artikel ini ditulis berdasarkan studi primer yang dilakukan kepada masyarakat dan jamaah pengajian dan studi literatur serta akumulasi pemahaman dari berbagai bacaan. Studi literatur dengan memanfaatkan mesin pencarian melalui google scholar, pdf drive, dan e-perpusnas dilakukan untuk memahami konsep tentang nilai-nilai lokal dan pembelajaran IPS. Sumber data primer diperoleh dari serangkaian penelitian yang dilakukan kepada komunitas jamaah serta pimpinan pengajian. Terdapat sejumlah nilai lokal dalam tradisi pengajian masyarakat Banjar yang dapat menjadi kekuatan dalam membentuk pembelajaran berbasis profetik. Nilai-nilai lokal tersebut tercermin dalam aktifitas batutulungan, maumpatakan, mambaca Yasin, mangaji kitab, mambaca manakib, bazikir, batahlil dan bakirim doa. Nilai-nilai ini kemudian dapat dijadikan sumber belajar IPS melalui pembelajaran kreatif. Dengan mengemas kearifan lokal dalam tradisi pengajian masyarakat Banjar ini maka pembelajaran IPS akan lebih profetik (humanis, liberalis, transendensi) dan peserta didik akan dapat lebih mengenal karakteristik sosial budayanya.

Abstract

The moral intelligence development is becoming critical in equipping adolescents to be able to address the twenty first century ethical, societal and global challenges. This research analyzes the moral intelligence of high-school pupils in Bandung who are in their senior years with emphasis to four major aspects, which include integrity, responsibility, self-control and empathy. The quantitative design was conducted by use of a validated questionnaire that was administered at different grades. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive summaries, reliability test, confirmatory factor analysis, and inferential statistics conducted on the data (correlation and regression) to map the moral intelligence profiles of the students. The results have shown that the total moral intelligence is high, and empathy and self-control were found as the strongest areas, whereas integrity and responsibility exhibited lower scores. Internal consistency was measured by reliability and validity which confirmed that moral intelligence is multidimensional. The correlation analysis indicated that there were some significant interrelations between the dimensions, and regression indicated that empathy and self-control were the most effective predictors of the orientation of the students towards the global citizenship. There were also gender disparities in that female students scored higher in empathy whereas males exhibited a margin of self-control. Students were less consistent with regard to responsibility and integrity despite high sensitivity and behavioral regulation. The paper also identifies the necessity of experiential and digitally enriched, including service learning, digital citizenship programs, to reinforce weaker aspects and contribute to responsible and ethical involvement in the global environment.
