Abstract

Background: Unpleasant odors in bathroom areas are a common hygiene problem that requires practical and environmentally friendly solutions. Citronella oil (Cymbopogon nardus L. Randle) is known to contain active compounds with a distinctive aroma that has potential as a natural fragrance agent. However, an appropriate gel base is needed to maintain the stability and aroma retention of the preparation. Objective: This study aims to formulate and evaluate a bathroom fragrance gel from citronella oil with a combination of carrageenan, xanthan gum, and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) bases and to determine the concentration of citronella oil that produces the preparation with the best physical stability and aroma retention. Methods: This research was an experimental laboratory study. Citronella oil was formulated into gel preparations with four concentration variations (2.5%; 5%; 7.5%; and 10%) using a combination of carrageenan, xanthan gum, and HPMC bases. Evaluation of the preparations included organoleptic test, syneresis, liquid evaporation, preference test (hedonic), and aroma retention test for 15 days of storage. Data were analyzed statistically with a 95% confidence level. Results: The results showed that all formulas produced gels with good organoleptic characteristics (cloudy white color, characteristic citronella aroma, and semi-solid texture). The formula with 10% citronella oil concentration (F4) showed the best results with the lowest syneresis value (0.62%), the lowest liquid evaporation percentage (21.69%), and the highest remaining gel weight (92.03%). The preference test showed that F4 had the highest average value (4.25) in the like category, and the best aroma retention with a score range of 4.19-4.70 until day 15. Conclusion: The combination of carrageenan, xanthan gum, and HPMC bases can produce physically stable bathroom fragrance gel preparations. The formula with 10% citronella oil concentration (F4) is the best formulation and has the most potential to be developed as a natural bathroom fragrance product.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan di Madrasah Madani Alauddin Makassar. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan wawancara kepada siswa, guru, dan kepala madrasah. Dalam proses penanaman nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan pada peserta didik di tengah arus globalisasi dilakukan melalui berbagai cara, melalui pembelajaran PKn di kelas, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta mengadakan kegiatan positif di sekolah untuk menunjang jiwa kebangsaan peserta didik. Faktor pendukung dalam menanamkan nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan pada peserta didik di antaranya adalah kerjasama pihak sekolah yakni kepala sekolah dan guru dalam memberikan contoh atau keteladanan yang baik kepada peserta didik, minat peserta didik dalam mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di sekolah, sarana dan prasarana yang mencukupi. Faktor penghambat dalam menanamkan nilai kebangsaan pada peserta didik di antaranya adalah karakter peserta didik  dari latar belakang keluarga yang berbeda, dan peserta didik belum bisa membagi waktu untuk kegiatan di sekolah dengan baik. Untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam menanamkan nilai kebangsaan dan kebhinnekaan pada peserta didik adalah para guru mengadakan problem solving dengan upaya memotivasi peserta didik  untuk saling menghargai antar sesama, pihak sekolah yakni kepala sekolah dan guru mengadakan evaluasi setiap semester kepada peserta didik untuk melihat perkembangan peserta didik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of the level of reading of the Quran with the results of studying Islam students of SMA Negeri 10 Gowa.  This research field research initiative is descriptive quantitative with causal associative methods. Simple sampling technique random sampling with a sample number of 60 students. Learners who test read The Quran score: Melafadzkan value so makhrajnya get an average score of 3.5; Melafadzkan Value since its nature get a flat value of 3.1; Melafadz kan Kekkahan with law readings average value of 3.0; and Read the Quran smoothly the average value of 3.3. Based on the criteria of the decision decision, then H0 is accepted and Ha abroad there is no literacy relationship between the literacy of the Quran and the results of learning PAI at SMA Negeri 10 Gowa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi metode pembelajaran qirā’āt sab’ah pada santri Jamʻīyatul Qurra di Pondok Pesantren Modern (PPM) Al-Syaikh Abdul Wahid Kota Baubau, untuk mengetahui hasil belajar qirā’āt sab’ah dengan Bacaan Imam Nafi’ riwayat Qālun dan Warsy serta yang menjadi faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam pembelajaran qirā’āt sab’ah di PPM Al-Syaikh Abdul Wahid Kota Baubau. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang berlandaskan pada filsafat postpositivisme dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, interview dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran qirā’āt sab’ah dengan bacaan Imam Nafi’ riwayat Qālūn dan Warsy di PPM Al-Syaikh Abdul Wahid dengan menggunakan metode Jibril yang lebih dominan daripada metode talaqqi> dan muza>karah, hasil belajar yang dicapai di antaranya santri sudah dapat membedakan panjang “ma>d”, baik itu ma>d qas}ar (Panjang 1 alif), ma>d tawassud (Panjang 2 alif), dan beberapa istilah-istilah lain. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambat di antaranya keterbatasan tenaga pengajar yang tidak memiliki kompetensi yang cukup, dan faktor pendukung di antaranya keingin-tahuan serta kesungguhan santri yang tinggi dalam mempelajari bacaan qirā’āt sab’ah khususnya bacaan Imam Nafi’ riwayat Qālūn dan Warsy. Hadirnya peneliti yang telah memberikan pembelajaran qirā’āt sab’ah, diharapkan santri mengetahui dan paham akan qirā’āt sab’ah dan juga dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajarnya, serta kajian qirā’āt sab’ah dapat dijadikan sebuah wacana terhadap khazanah keilmuan dan dapat di aplikasikan secara langsung dalam lingkungan PPM Al-Syaikh Abdul Wahid Kota Bau bau maupun lingkungan lainnya.

Abstract

Zawiyah sebagai institusi pendidikan Islam pada masa kesultanan Buton merupakan hasil adaptasi antara ajaran Islam dan tradisi masyarakat lokal, dicirikan dengan bangunan sebagai tempat pembelajaran agama Islam dalam bidang tasawuf dan fikih. Didirikan pada awal abad ke-19 (kesembilan belas) di masa pemerintahan Sultan Muhammad Idrus Kaimuddin sampai masa Sultan Muhammad Umar (1824/1851-1885/1906 M). Terdapat empat Zawiyah pada masa kesultanan Buton, dibangun sesuai dengan nama pendirinya, yaitu Zawiyah Sultan Muhammad Idrus Kaimuddin, Zawiyah H. Abdul Ganiu (Kenepulu Bula), Zawiyah Muhammad Nuh (Kanepulu Bente) dan Zawiyah Sultan Muhammad Umar (1885-1906 M). Pelaksanaan pendidikan Islam di Zawiyah bersifat tradisional dan sentralistik atau cenderung bersifat struktural. Materi pembelajarannya memuat dua unsur yaitu ilmu tasawuf, dan ilmu fikih. Ilmu tasawuf yang meliputi tasawuf tarekat dan tasawuf teosofi atau falsafi. Sedangkan ilmu fikih mencakup kaidah uṣūl dan fikih, atau meliputi ibadah mahḍah dan muamalah. Metode pembelajaran yang paling menonjol di Zawiyah adalah metode suluk dalam tasawuf. Hubungan antara mursyid dan murid di Zawiyah dilandasi semangat kepercayaan yang diimplementasikan melalui tingkah laku dan perbuatan sehari-hari. Adapun peran Zawiyah terhadap perkembangan pendidikan Islam di Buton sebagai wadah dalam menanamkan kesadaran berfikir tentang hakekat keislaman bagi masyarakat Buton yang ada di wilayah keraton, sekaligus sebagai bentuk syiar ajaran Islam yang mesti melekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat Buton secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang menjadi titik tolak pembahsan dalam tulisan ini adalah: 1) bagaimana gambaran religiutas mahasiswa angkata 2009/2010 fakultas tarbiyah dan keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar?  2) bagaimana gambaran perilaku prososial mahasiswa angkatan 2009/2010 fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar? 3) apakah ada hubungan antara religiusitas dengan perilaku prososial mahasiswa angkatan 2009/2010 fakultas tarbiyah dan keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar? penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei. Populasinya adalah seluruh mahasiswa angkatan 2009/2010 fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar berjumlah 432 orang. Mahasiswa tersebut tersebar pada 8 jurusan/prodi yang ada pada fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 194 orang. Sampling yang digunakan adalah proporsional cluster yakni pengambilan samel secara proporsional dari masing-masing jurusan/prodi. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan secara kebetulan (sampling insidental) dengan pertimbangan mahasiswa tidak selamanya bersamaan datang ke kampus pada saat penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner sebagai instrumen utama, sedangkan pedoman wawancara dan panduan observasi sebagai instrumen pelengkap. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriftif untuk memperoleh gambaran persentase, nalai maksimum dan minimum, standar deviasi, nilai rata-rata, tabel frekuensi kemudian digambarkan dalam diagram. Untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis statistik infrensial dengan rumus product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas mahasiswa angkatan 2009/2010 fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar dilihat dari aspek kognitif keberagamaan berada pada kategori sedang (38,66%) dan cenderung tinggi (28,87%), keterlibatan behavioral keberagamaan berada pada kategori tinggi bahkan sangat tinggi (54,44), keterlibatan konsekuensional atau aspek afektif keberagamaan 38,14 % atau berada paa kategori sedang cenderung tinggi. Adapun perilaku prososial mereka berada pada kategori sedang (40,72 %) cenderung tinggi (20,11 %).ABSTRACTSeveral questions need to answer in this article are: 1) how is the real picture of religiosity of students enrolled in 2009 at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science of UIN Alauddin Makassar? How is the description of pro-social behavior of the students enrolled in 2009 at this Faculty? Is there any relation between religiosity and pro-social behavior of students enrolled in 2009 at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science of UIN Alauddin Makassar? This research is basically a survey one. The research populations are all of 432 students enrolled in 2009 at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science of UIN Alauddin Makassar. All students under consideration are currently studying at eight different departments. 195 out of 432 students are selected as samples in this research. The sampling method applied is proportional cluster by which the samples are evenly and proportionally selected from each department. The method to select samples is incidental by considering that all students do not come and arrive at the university at the same time during the research period. The main research instrument is questionnaire, while interview and observation guides are treated as complementary instruments. This research applies descriptive analysis to gain percentage, maximum and minimum values, standard deviation, mean and frequency table, which is further presented in diagrams. To evaluate the hypothesis, this research applies inferential analysis using product moment. The research result shows that students’ religiosity enrolled in 2009 at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Science of UIN Alauddin Makassar based on the cognitive aspect of their religiosity is at medium category (38.66%) and tends to increase (28.87%). The behavioral involvement of their religiosity is at high category and tends to get higher (54.44%). Their consequent involvement or affective aspect of their religiosity is at 38.14% or is categorized medium to high. Their pro-social behavior is categorized medium (40.72%) and tends to be high (20.11%).

Abstract

This paper describes community participation in the development of standard facilities and infrastructure for Islamic Elementary School of Keerom-Papua. This type is qualitative research, the research approach is a phenomenological perspective and a descriptive analysis approach, data sources are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, research instruments namely, researchers as key instruments, observation guides, interview guides and reference documentation, processing techniques and data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification, data validity testing, namely triangulation techniques, checking the correctness of information, discussing and consulting data, and extending the research time. The results showed community participation in the development of standard facilities and infrastructure at Islamic Elementary School of Keerom-Papua concluded that the community was enthusiastic about participating in building mushallah/mosque and procuring canteens and greenhouses. Boarding and equalizing the madrasah yard, fencing the front door of the madrasah, making madrasah fish pond gardens, and the land used as the location for the construction of madrasah and mosques are the provision of traditional leaders (non-Muslims) and the procurement of sports equipment, while the procurement of the main facilities, specifically for Islamic Elementary School The private sector shows that there is participation but it is not maximal while public Islamic Elementary School have not seen maximum community participation, it is due to a lack of public awareness of a sense of responsibility in developing madrasah, and building communication to exchange opinions with the community about the importance of community participation in developing madrasah as a charity Jariyah and social activities.

Abstract

This research discussed about the comparison of learning outcomes in Islamic Education students who used the STAD type cooperative learning model and NHT type class X SMA Negeri 3 Palopo. This reasearch aimed to: 1) to determine the learning outcomes of Islamic Education students taught using the STAD type cooperative model in class X SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, 2) to know the Islamic Education learning outcomes of students taught using the NHT cooperative model on class X SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, 3) to Analyze the differences in Islamic Education learning outcomes of students taught by the STAD type cooperative model and student learning outcomes taught by the NHT cooperative model in Class X SMA Negeri 3 Palopo. This research was a quantitative research with a non-equivalent control group design. The population was all students of class X SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, totaling 260 students. The technique sampling was done by using purposive sampling. The instrument used was a test with descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the analysis of descriptive data for the learning outcomes of students taught by using the STAD type cooperative learning model is very good category. The learning outcomes of students taught by using NHT type of cooperative learning model are very good category. Based on inferential analysis obtained a significant value> α (0.716> 0.05) then, it can be said that there is no significant difference between the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education taught using the STAD type cooperative learning model and those taught using the NHT learning model in Class students X SMA Negeri 3 Palopo.

Abstract

This study aims to explore procedures or steps for the development of Arabic subject matter through the integration of local culture in Sinjai Regency into Arabic subject matter at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Hikmah Sinjai and test the feasibility of Arabic language subject matter that is integrated with the local culture of Sinjai district. at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darul Hikmah Sinjai. This research is a type of research and development or Research and Development (R&D) using four stages of research, namely, the data collection stage, the planning stage, the product development stage, and the product validation and testing stage. The instruments used were questionnaires, interviews and, observations. The results showed that the process of developing Arabic subject matter by integrating local Sinjai culture was carried out in six steps as follows, conducting field studies and literature studies on Sinjai local culture, determining and compiling materials, integrating local culture into Arabic subject matter for class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Arabic. into Arabic, material systematization, material validation includes internal validation and external validation. the internal test percentage reached 64.02%. And the external test results using the Wilcoxon type nonparametric statistical analysis is .003 which means less than 0.05 (003 <0.05), these two test results indicate that the product is suitable for use.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the process of implementing standard educational processes in Islamic religious education and Characters subjects (PAI and Budi Pekerti) at SMA Negeri 17 Makassar, the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing educational process standards, and the success rate of implementing Standard Education Process in supporting the success of Islamic Education and Character at SMA Negeri 17 Makassar. Qualitative research is included in this study. The method employed is Pedagogical. Teachers of Islamic religious education, school principals, education unit supervisors, and associated papers were used as data sources. Data was collected using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data is done by increasing persistence, doing triangulation, discussing with colleagues, and member checking. An important finding in this study is that the process of implementing the standard educational process on subjects of Islamic religious education and manners at SMA Negeri 17 Makassar begins with the preparation of a lesson plan. It refers to the Standard Education Process in terms of types, procedures, principles, and components in the lesson plan. After preparing the plan, the teacher carries out the learning process using a scientific approach and learning models that are relevant to the Standard Education Process. Furthermore, the teacher analyses the learning process and results both during and after the learning process takes place using authentic assessments and other forms of assessment appropriate to the domains of attitudes, knowledge, and skills.
