Abstract

This research is motivated by the low cognitive ability in recognizing geometric shapes in group B children of Kenanga Kindergarten, Banjarmasin. To overcome this problem, a problem-based learning model, example non-example, and papinbar media can be used. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities, children's activities, and analyze the results of children's cognitive development achievements, especially in recognizing geometric shapes. This study uses a qualitative approach and Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 4 meetings. The results of the study show that teacher activities have implemented the steps of the learning model with a score of 31 with a percentage of 97% in the "Very Good" category, children's activities have increased up to meeting 4 with a percentage of 90% in the "Almost All Children Are Active" category and cognitive aspects have increased up to meeting 4 with a percentage of 90% of children successfully getting the "Very Well Developed (BSB)" category. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that through the problem-based learning model, example non-example, papinbar media, cognitive development activities and results can be developed very well and almost all children are active. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal bentuk geometri pada anak kelompok B TK Kenanga Banjarmasin. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dapat menggunakan model problem based learning, example non example, media papinbar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, dan menganalisis hasil capaian perkembangan kognitif anak khususnya dalam mengenal bentuk geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 4 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru telah melaksanakan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran dengan skor 31 dengan persentase yaitu 97% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, aktivitas anak telah mencapai peningkatan hingga pertemuan 4 dengan persentase 90% dengan kategori “Hampir Seluruh Anak Aktif” dan aspek kognitif telah mencapai peningkatan hingga pertemuan 4 dengan persentase 90% anak berhasil mendapatkan kategori “Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB)”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa melalui model probem based learning, example non example, media papinbar dapat mengembangkan aktivitas dan hasil perkembangan kognitif dengan sangat baik dan hampir seluruh anak aktif.

Abstract

Internet can be dangerous since it has become a new medium for sexual crimes against children and adolescents. This study aimed to investigate online child sexual exploitation and abuse (OCSEA) of children and adolescents. It also identified the vulnerability factors contributing to OCSEA and explored the measures to prevent and address this challenge. In this study, a systematic literature review method was used, along with the formation of PICO, language terminology, inclusion and exclusion criteria, and data collection through PRISMA. The literature review showed that OCSEA vulnerability factors included young age, perception, communication, economy, accessibility, emotional stability, population, gender, parental supervision, and children’s internet knowledge. Even though there were relevant policies, the process of handling vulnerability was still at the stage of developing framework, necessitating new and comprehensive laws to address OCSEA more explicitly. Therefore, the limited prevalence data and evidence on OCSEA prompted this study to conduct a literature review to better understand the concept, development, and context.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, prevalensi depresi mencapai 1,4% pada tahun 2023. Jawa Barat (3,3%), Kalimantan Timur (2,2%), dan Banten (1,7%) merupakan tiga provinsi dengan prevalensi depresi tertinggi. Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data retrospektif, dilakukan untuk menganalisis biaya penyakit dan evaluasi penggunaan obat psikofarmaka pasien depresi rawat inap Rumah Sakit Jiwa Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen biaya medis langsung pasien depresi rawat inap dari yang tertinggi meliputi biaya akomodasi Rp287.350.000 (38,3%), biaya tindakan dan asuhan keperawatan Rp228.920.000 (30,5%), biaya lain-lain Rp102.270.000 (13,6%), biaya obat, alat kesehatan, dan bahan medis habis pakai Rp96.232.329 (12,8%), biaya pemeriksaan penunjang Rp24.754.000 (3,3%), biaya rehabilitasi psikososial Rp7.565.000 (1,0%), dan biaya tindakan medik Rp3.585.000 (0,5%). Komponen biaya akomodasi memiliki persentase tertinggi kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh lamanya hari perawatan atau length of stay. Rata-rata biaya medis langsung sebesar Rp5.361.974. Perbandingan rata-rata biaya riil rumah sakit dengan tarif Indonesian Case Base Groups pasien depresi ringan, depresi sedang, dan depresi berat, yang seluruhnya berada pada kelas 2, menunjukkan selisih biaya positif sejumlah Rp1.988.826, Rp2.184.026, dan Rp4.314.726. Evaluasi penggunaan obat psikofarmaka dengan metode Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) Classification System dan Defined Daily Dose (DDD) menunjukkan sertraline memiliki nilai tertinggi, yaitu 120,80 DDD/100 bed days. Obat psikofarmaka yang termasuk segmen DU 90%, yaitu sertraline (24%), risperidone (17,22%), lorazepam (12,80%), aripiprazole (7,34%), olanzapine (6%), fluoxetine (5,81%), haloperidol (3,99%), quetiapine fumarate (3,60%), vortioxetine (3,49%), olanzapine parenteral (3,09%) dan clozapine (2,68%). Sertraline banyak digunakan karena merupakan terapi lini pertama untuk pasien dengan diagnosis depresi dan memiliki keamanan serta tolerabilitas yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Writing skills are a fundamental competency in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level, particularly in narrative paragraph writing. However, many students still face challenges in developing ideas, structuring storylines, and selecting appropriate vocabulary. This study aims to determine the influence of Acehnese culture-based visual media on students’ narrative writing skills. The research used a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 26 fourth-grade students of UPTD SD Negeri 2 Kuala. A narrative writing test was administered before and after the intervention, and the data were analyzed using a Paired Sample t-Test. The results show a significant influence of Acehnese culture-based visual media on students’ writing performance. The mean posttest score exceeded the pretest score by 6.727 points. Statistical analysis confirmed this improvement with t = -8.360, df = 25, and Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the use of such media helps students better organize storylines, generate ideas, and remain motivated in writing activities. In conclusion, Acehnese culture-based visual media has a positive influence on students’ narrative paragraph writing skills. Beyond language improvement, it also fosters appreciation of local culture, making the learning process more meaningful and contextually relevant.

Abstract

Background: The requirement of parental consent in counseling minors is a controversial topic, with varying views on whether it is a necessity or simply a procedural formality. This study seeks to explore the urgency and implications of parental consent in the counseling process for minors. Objective: The objective of this study is to review the significance of parental consent in counseling minors, particularly focusing on whether it should be considered a requirement or a mere condition for counseling. This research was conducted in 2024. Method: This study employs a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, synthesizing and analyzing data from journal articles and books retrieved from academic databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, Harzing, and Mendeley. Results: The findings suggest that parental consent functions as a condition rather than a strict requirement. While it determines whether counseling can take place, it does not significantly affect the actual implementation or outcomes of the counseling process. Conclusion: Counselors should prioritize the rights and beliefs of minors in the counseling process. Further research is needed to understand the extent to which minors can make decisions without parental consent. Contribution: This research provides valuable insights for counselors, offering a practical guide for navigating the ethical challenges surrounding parental consent in counseling minors.

Abstract

Raw material inventory refers to unprocessed basic materials that a company provides for use in its production process. This study aims to analyze how raw material inventory planning using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method meets the production needs of the Camming Sugar Factory in Bone Regency. The research uses secondary data derived from company records over the past three years. This study adopts a quantitative descriptive method, with EOQ analysis applied to determine the most economical order quantity, Total Inventory Cost (TIC), Safety Stock (SS), and Reorder Point (ROP). The EOQ calculation results show that in 2020 it was 141,210.76 tons, in 2021 it was 123,582.59 tons, and in 2022 it was 75,232.94 tons—each higher than the company’s actual ordering volume, which was 135,086.75 tons (2020), 100,513.25 tons (2021), and 71,970.25 tons (2022). The Safety Stock values were 5,049.96 tons (2020), 4,730.02 tons (2021), and 4,428.92 tons (2022). Meanwhile, the Reorder Points were 10,099.92 tons in 2020, 9,460.04 tons in 2021, and 8,857.84 tons in 2022. The EOQ-based TIC was also lower compared to the company’s actual inventory cost: Rp861,522,105 (2020), Rp545,001,940 (2021), and Rp353,376,851 (2022), whereas the company’s calculations yielded Rp862,369,000, Rp556,676,981, and Rp358,336,694 respectively. Therefore, the application of the EOQ method in raw material inventory planning proves to be more effective and efficient than the method currently used by the Camming Sugar Factory.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter menjadi fondasi penting dalam membentuk generasi bangsa yang berakhlak mulia. Salah satu pendekatan dalam penguatan karakter adalah melalui pembiasaan bahasa, khususnya bahasa daerah seperti bahasa Jawa krama madya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguatan nilai-nilai kemandirian peserta didik melalui pembiasaan berbahasa Jawa krama madya di SD Kanisius Wonogiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan berbahasa Jawa krama madya secara teratur, terutama setiap hari Rabu, mampu membentuk sikap berani, percaya diri, disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan inisiatif peserta didik. Namun, ditemukan pula bahwa penguatan aspek percaya diri dan inisiatif belum sepenuhnya berhasil karena penggunaannya masih terbatas pada waktu pembiasaan dan belum muncul secara mandiri di luar jam tersebut. Pembiasaan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam membentuk karakter kemandirian yang kuat, terutama dalam konteks budaya lokal. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan gambaran bahwa bahasa daerah bukan hanya alat komunikasi, tetapi juga media pembentukan karakter.

Abstract

Selama proses persalinan terjadi peningkatan tingkat stress, nyeri dan durasi persalinan, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk mendukung wanita dalam proses persalinan salah satunya metode akupresure dan ice gel kompress yang dapat mengurangi nyeri persalinan dan menguatkan kontraksi uterus sehingga memperpendek durasi persalinan melalui stimulasi pada titik L14 & SP6. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis efektifitas pemberian akupresure dan Ice Gel Compress terhadap kemajuan persalinan Kala 1 Fase Aktif di PMB wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sawang. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi eksperimental, dengan posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu bersalin di PMB Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sawang dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 34 ibu bersalin kala I fase aktif yang dibagi kedalam 2 kelompok (intervensi dan kontrol), Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Consecutive sampling dan analisa data menggunakan mann whitney test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok intervensi lama fase aktif kala 1 berlangsung cepat (≤ 6 jam) sebesar 76,5% dibandingkan pada kelompok kontrol yaitu 23,5%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian akupresure dan Ice Gel Compress terhadap Kemajuan Persalinan kala I Fase Aktif dengan nilai p Value 0,020 (<0,05), Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pemberian akupresure dan Ice Gel compress efektif meningkatkan kemajuan persalinan kala I Fase Aktif.

Abstract

General Background: The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices, requiring teachers to integrate innovative media that enhance learning quality. Specific Background: In mathematics education, particularly algebra, students often struggle to understand abstract concepts due to conventional teaching methods. Knowledge Gap: Few empirical studies have examined the combined use of interactive media such as Canva and Quizizz to improve algebraic thinking in junior high school students, especially within limited-resource contexts like Bireuen. Aims: This study investigates the effectiveness of Canva and Quizizz interactive media in enhancing students’ algebraic thinking skills. Results: Employing a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups, findings show a significant improvement in the experimental group’s performance (Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05), with an N-Gain of 0.7968 (high category), compared to 0.1456 (low) in the control group. Students expressed positive responses, indicating increased motivation and engagement. Novelty: The integration of Canva’s visual-based learning and Quizizz’s gamified assessment creates a synergistic model that bridges conceptual understanding and learner motivation. Implications: The study demonstrates that digital interactive media can effectively enhance cognitive and affective learning outcomes, offering a replicable framework for innovative mathematics instruction in the digital era. Highlights: Integration of Canva and Quizizz enhances students’ algebraic thinking. Interactive media improve motivation and engagement in learning. Abstract

Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar merupakan pendekatan transformatif dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia, yang bertujuan untuk mendorong lingkungan belajar yang lebih fleksibel, inklusif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Studi ini mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang seputar implementasi kebijakan ini, dengan fokus pada perspektif pendidik dan kesiapan institusi. Dengan menggunakan metodologi tinjauan pustaka sistematis, analisis teori dasar digunakan untuk mengungkap kesenjangan dan mengusulkan intervensi strategis. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan tantangan yang signifikan, termasuk kesiapan guru yang terbatas, kesenjangan dalam fasilitas pendidikan, beban administratif, dan implementasi yang tidak merata karena koordinasi yang tidak memadai antara otoritas pusat dan daerah. Selain itu, masalah akses teknologi, terutama di daerah terpencil, menghambat efektivitas kebijakan. Terlepas dari tantangan ini, Merdeka Belajar menunjukkan potensi substansial dalam memberdayakan guru, meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, dan mengurangi beban kurikulum. Reformasi utama meliputi penyederhanaan kurikulum, mengganti sistem ujian nasional dengan penilaian yang lebih berbasis kompetensi, dan memberikan otonomi kepada pendidik dalam perencanaan pelajaran. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi Merdeka Belajar yang sukses memerlukan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru, peningkatan infrastruktur, strategi inklusif untuk menjembatani kesenjangan regional, dan kolaborasi yang kuat di antara para pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan yang efektif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan di Indonesia, yang membuka jalan bagi sistem pendidikan yang lebih adil dan berfokus pada mutu.
