Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Science Storming learning model in improving science literacy among elementary school students. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest). The research subjects consisted of fifth-grade students divided into an experimental group (n=22) and a control group (n=16). The instrument used was a science literacy test covering the ability to understand changes in the state of matter, the relationship between temperature and changes in state, and the interpretation of scientific phenomena. Data analysis utilized descriptive statistics, normality tests, paired-sample t-tests, and independent-sample t-tests. Results showed a pretest mean of 59.69 for the control group and 60.00 for the experimental group, while posttest scores increased to 67.64 (control) and 85.64 (experimental). The paired t-test for the experimental group showed a significant difference (mean difference = −25.636; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that Science Storming is effective in improving science literacy through the exploration of ideas and scientific discussions that foster a deeper and more contextual conceptual understanding.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools is often perceived as abstract and theoretical. This perception makes it difficult for students to grasp scientific concepts, which may sometimes feel distant from their daily lives. Ideally, science instruction should adopt a contextual approach, allowing students to recognize the relevance of scientific knowledge in their environment. The purpose of this research is to develop a science e-module based on Sasak local wisdom to enhance the creative dispositions of elementary school students. The research design employs a development model encompassing validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests. The limited trial involved 15 students, while the field trial included 42 elementary school students. Validation results indicate that the e-module demonstrates excellent quality in terms of media aspects (80.75%) and material aspects aligned with the curriculum (72.93%). The limited trial revealed high practicality (89.78%), while the field trial showed an increase in post-test scores from 58.78% to 88.31%, with an N-gain score of 0.71. The e-module has proven effective in developing students’ creative dispositions. This research contributes to the integration of local wisdom in digital learning resources by fostering culturally relevant science education while simultaneously enhancing students' creative dispositions and promoting cultural preservation through the embedding of Sasak values.

Abstract

In today’s modern era, learning activities are no longer a daily routine for many students. Feelings of laziness and boredom that arise during the learning process require special attention in order to find the best solutions for creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This study aims to systematically review the effect of ice breaking activities on improving students’ learning concentration in the context of classroom learning. Using a systematic literature review method, the references used consist of scientific publications from the period 2021 to 2025. Out of a total of 24 articles identified, a screening process was carried out and 4 articles were excluded. Subsequently, 20 full-text articles were assessed for eligibility, but 14 did not meet the criteria, leaving 6 articles included in the final review. The results of a systematic literature review indicate that the implementation of ice breaking significantly influences the improvement of students' learning concentration at the primary education level. Based on the six articles analyzed, ice breaking has been proven effective in restoring focus, fostering enthusiasm, and creating an active and enjoyable classroom atmosphere. Activities such as educational games, light exercises, and chants help reduce boredom and increase student participation. Overall, ice breaking is not merely a filler activity but an important learning strategy that can enhance students' motivation, concentration, and learning effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of interactive learning media on student learning outcomes at the elementary school level. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which selects various journals and previous studies to obtain findings that can be used as references in developing models or ideas in the future. The use of interactive learning media has been proven to help students understand the subject matter, because the media is able to present learning content in an interesting way, increase learning interest, and encourage active student participation in learning activities. By implementing interactive learning media in the teaching and learning process, teachers can create a more meaningful learning experience for students. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of interactive learning media in elementary schools has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang sangat pesat telah membawa perubahan besar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Saat ini, siswa sekolah dasar semakin akrab dengan berbagai bentuk media digital seperti telepon pintar, tablet, dan internet. Di satu sisi, penggunaan media digital dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran melalui akses informasi yang luas dan interaktif. Namun di sisi lain, penggunaan yang berlebihan tanpa pengawasan dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap pembentukan sikap dan perkembangan emosional anak. Penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengkaji pengaruh media digital terhadap sikap serta perkembangan emosional anak dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) pada artikel-artikel ilmiah terbitan tahun 2020–2024. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui studi pustaka sistematis (Systematic Literature Review). Proses ini diawali dengan pencarian artikel ilmiah pada beberapa basis data daring seperti Google Scholar, PubMed, dan ScienceDirect. Pencarian dilakukan menggunakan kata kunci yang relevan, yaitu “media digital”, “sikap siswa”, dan “emosional anak sekolah dasar” dengan batas tahun publikasi 2020–2024. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan, merangkum, dan menafsirkan hasil penelitian dari berbagai sumber yang telah dipilih. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar, baik dalam aspek positif maupun negatif. Dari sisi positif, media digital mampu mendorong motivasi belajar, memperluas pemahaman materi, dan memperkuat keterampilan sosial melalui interaksi daring. Namun, di sisi lain, terdapat pula dampak negatif yang perlu diantisipasi, seperti risiko terpapar konten yang tidak sesuai usia dan ancaman bullying yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan emosional serta moral anak. Oleh karena itu, peran orang tua dan pendidik menjadi sangat penting dalam mengarahkan penggunaan media terhadap anak. Dengan pendamping yang tepat serta Pendidikan karakter yang menekankan etika digital, anak-anak diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan media digital secara bijaksana dan bertanggung jawab, sehingga manfaat positif dapat dioptimalkan dan dampak negatif dapat diminimalkan. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya kerja sama antara pendidik dan keluarga siswa dalam membangun ekosistem digital yang sehat dan tumbuh kembang anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai tantangan serta kesulitan yang dihadapi pendidik pada era modern melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kajian dilakukan terhadap 45 artikel ilmiah yang terbit dalam rentang waktu 2015 hingga 2025, yang diperoleh dari tiga basis data utama, yaitu Google Scholar, ERIC (Education Resources Information Center), dan ResearchGate. Analisis literatur ini berfokus pada isu-isu utama yang dihadapi guru, mencakup beban administrasi, adaptasi terhadap teknologi digital, kompleksitas kurikulum, serta pengaruh faktor internal dan eksternal terhadap profesionalisme pendidik. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa tingginya beban administratif dan dinamisnya kebijakan kurikulum menjadi faktor penghambat efektivitas guru dalam melaksanakan peran pedagogis. Di sisi lain, kesiapan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis digital masih terbatas akibat rendahnya literasi teknologi, ketimpangan infrastruktur pendidikan, dan minimnya dukungan kelembagaan. Faktor internal seperti motivasi dan kompetensi memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kesiapan individu, sementara faktor eksternal seperti kebijakan pendidikan, sarana prasarana, dan dukungan institusional menjadi penguat yang menentukan optimalisasi kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kapasitas guru secara berkelanjutan perlu diarahkan pada penguatan literasi digital, penyederhanaan beban administrasi, dan perumusan kebijakan yang berpihak pada kesejahteraan guru agar tercipta ekosistem pendidikan yang adaptif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan di era transformasi digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru kelas sekolah dasar dalam menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Islam guna menumbuhkan karakter anti-perundungan (anti-bullying) pada peserta didik. Perundungan di tingkat pendidikan dasar masih menjadi masalah serius yang berdampak pada perkembangan psikologis dan moral anak. Pendidikan Islam menekankan nilai-nilai luhur seperti kasih sayang, keadilan, rasa hormat, dan pengendalian diri yang sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan karakter nasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 26 artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 hingga 2025, yang diambil dari publikasi nasional dan internasional terindeks Google Scholar, DOAJ, dan Scispace, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru kelas menerapkan tiga strategi utama, yaitu mengintegrasikan ajaran moral Islam dalam pembelajaran, membiasakan perilaku positif, serta memberikan teladan moral (uswah hasanah). Internalisasi etika Islam terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat empati, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran sosial peserta didik, sehingga penelitian ini berkontribusi secara teoretis dan praktis terhadap pengembangan model pendidikan karakter Islami yang mendukung terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang damai dan inklusif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis terhadap pengembangan model pendidikan karakter Islami yang efektif untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah dasar yang damai, inklusif, dan bebas dari perundungan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis berbagai temuan ilmiah terkait dampak penggunaan gawai terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Permasalahan ini berangkat dari meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi digital dalam aktivitas belajar yang berpotensi memengaruhi fokus dan atensi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis (TPS) dengan metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Sumber data dikumpulkan dari 30 artikel  ilmiah yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2015–2025 melalui database Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, ERIC, dan DOAJ dengan kata kunci gadget, digital learning, dan student concentration. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gawai memiliki dampak positif maupun negatif terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa; di satu sisi mendukung pembelajaran interaktif melalui gamifikasi dan media digital yang menarik, namun di sisi lain berpotensi menurunkan fokus dan menyebabkan distraksi apabila digunakan secara berlebihan. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan gawai perlu diarahkan pada aktivitas pembelajaran yang terstruktur, kontekstual, dan bermakna agar dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

This study systematically examines the use of digital media in elementary school learning through a literature approach. The study covers the forms and implementation of digital media, its benefits in increasing student motivation and engagement, as well as challenges faced such as infrastructure limitations, teacher readiness, and content suitability. The results indicate that digital media can support independent learning and differentiation, but to overcome these obstacles, comprehensive teacher training, content development tailored to student needs, adequate infrastructure provision, and active parental involvement are required. This study concludes that with coordinated efforts, digital media can be effectively integrated to improve learning outcomes at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ experiences in using digital media to enhance elementary students’ learning enthusiasm. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively, focusing on teachers who have direct experience in integrating digital media in the classroom. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that digital media such as videos, interactive animations, and educational applications effectively attract students’ attention, increase active participation, and strengthen conceptual understanding. However, challenges such as limited facilities, unstable internet access, and varying levels of teachers’ technological competence remain obstacles. Teachers’ creativity and pedagogical reflection are key factors in the successful integration of technology. This research emphasizes the importance of enhancing teachers’ digital competence to create innovative, engaging, and adaptive learning in the digital era.
