Abstract

The development of information technology provides wide access to information and digital interaction. However, the lack of legal literacy among the younger generation often leads to violations that have negative impacts, such as the spread of rights, violations of privacy and cyberbullying. This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of junior high school students about the ITE Law, digital literacy and media ethics. The socialization methods used include interactive presentations, group discussions and legal case simulations. Pre-test and post-test evaluations showed an increase in understanding of digital law by up to 80%. This activity succeeded in equipping students with basic knowledge about digital ethics, data security and the legal implications of online activities.

Abstract

The training program on item response theory (IRT) analysis using R Studio for teachers in Manokwari aims to enhance their understanding of modern test theory and their ability to use R Studio as an analytical tool. Many teachers are unfamiliar with these concepts, so the training provides in-depth knowledge and practical applications to analyze test data and estimate student abilities. This interactive, practice-based training involved 30 teachers and included socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation of R Studio in test item analysis. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' knowledge and skills. Before the training, 90 percent of teachers were unfamiliar with R Studio, and 70 percent lacked understanding of IRT. After the training, 70 percent of teachers could use R Studio for student answer analysis, and 80 percent demonstrated a good grasp of modern test theory concepts. This improvement reflects the program's success in achieving its objectives and has the potential to enhance the quality of educational assessments in Manokwari. By utilizing IRT analysis more effectively, teachers can make better-informed decisions in the teaching and learning process, ultimately contributing to improved educational outcomes.

Abstract

Character is one of the important things that must be formed from an early age. The formation of character in children does not occur spontaneously, there is a process that is passed through stimulation. One of the characters that must be formed is responsibility. This study aims to determine the habit of praying Ashar in congregation in improving the character of responsibility of early childhood at TPQ Darul Muttaqin, Buayan District. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation. The subjects of this study were male and female students of TPQ Daarul Muttaqin Buayan Kebumen.  The results of the study showed that the habit of praying Ashar in congregation is carried out every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday routinely. The habit of praying in congregation also forms an attitude of discipline, independence, and responsibility in children. Children begin to get used to coming on time for congregational prayers, performing ablution independently, getting used to queuing and tidying up their own prayer equipment. This activity also encourages children to have a sense of social responsibility, such as reminding friends to join in ablution. The conclusion of this study is that the habit of praying in congregation is an effective strategy in forming a character of responsibility in early childhood.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a form of growth failure in a child, where the child's height is lower than other children of the same age. The Asian Development Bank reported that the prevalence of stunting in toddlers in Indonesia is the second highest in Southeast Asia. The prevalence reached 31.8% in 2020. According to the Indonesian Nutritional Status Study (SSGI, 2021), 1 in 4 Indonesian children experience stunting, approximately 5 million Indonesian children experience stunting. Meanwhile, in 2021 the stunting rate reached 24%. Indonesia targets the stunting rate to drop to 14% by 2024. Purpose: To determine the distribution of stunting risk factors in toddlers. Method: The design of this study is a quantitative research design with a survey design. The population and sample are all toddlers in Noto Harjo sub-district, totaling 224 people and a sample of 112. Data collection techniques are observation (height measurement), interviews with toddlers' parents, and documentation studies (KIA Book). Data analysis is descriptive. Results: The results of this study showed that the number of stunting was 21.4%. This data is almost the same as the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, which is 21.6%. While the target to be achieved by the government is 14%. For this reason, various joint efforts are needed to achieve the targets that have been set. Conclusion: Based on the results of research and statistical test results, the prevalence of stunting in toddlers in Notoharjo Village reached 21.4%. These results show a figure that is almost comparable to the national stunting prevalence in Indonesia, which is 21.6%, this figure is still far above the target set by the government, which is 14% in 2024. This emphasizes the need for more intensive efforts in handling stunting, including nutritional interventions, increasing public awareness, and more effective policy support. With collaboration between various parties, it is hoped that the target of reducing stunting can be achieved, so that children in Indonesia can grow healthily and optimally.

Abstract

meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui evaluasi kemampuan dasar siswa.
