Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi pada era ini menjadi faktor penting dan tidak dapat terpisahkan dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan teknologi serta kesejahteraan setiap masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk merancang alat keran air wudhu otomatis berbasis mikrokontroller dan untuk menguji alat keran air wudhu otomatis berbasis mikrokontroller. Metode yang di gunakan yaitu masukan, pemrosesan, keluaran. Masukan terdiri atas sensor ultrasonik sebagai pengirim sinyal (transsmiter) dan potransistor sebagai penerima sinyal (receiver). Unit pemrosesan terdiri atas mikrokontroler promini, dan keluaran terdiri atas relay.Mikrokontroler menerima input dari sensor kemudian mikrokontroler memberikan output pada relay. Adapun cara kerja keran air wudhu otomatis yaitu mendeteksi adanya objek tangan/kaki manusia oleh sensor infra merah. Ketika cahaya infra merah ke phototransistor terhalang oleh tangan dan kaki manunusia, sinyal yang di terima tersebut akan diolah sebagai data didalam mikrontroler Adapun pengujian alat ini berupa pengujian sensor, pengujian keran selenoid, dan relay. Dalam penelitian alat Keran air otomatis ini mengunakan dua perancangan yaitu perancangan perangkat keras (Hardware) dan perancangan perangkat lunak(Software). Hasil penelitian adalah dapat Memudahkan masayarakat untuk menghemat dalam penggunaan air wudhu dan untuk mengukur kemampuan dari sensor ultrasonic, kemudian ketika objek dijarak 50 cm maka sensor akan mendeteksi objek dan akan di kirim ke mikrontroler, kemudian mikrokontroler memproses data dan mengirim perintah ke motor servo, selanjutnya motor servo akan memproses dan hasilnya (air) dikeluarkan melalui keran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam menghemat pengunaan air, Alat ini telah di ujicoba dan hasilnya bekerja dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan cara kerja alat tersebut

Abstract

Pengelolaan riset yang efektif merupakan kunci keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menghasilkan penelitian berkualitas dan publikasi ilmiah. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan Program Kelas Riset sebagai alternatif lulus tanpa skripsi di Fakultas Agama Islam. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pendampingan dan simulasi pengelolaan riset yang melibatkan 45 mahasiswa peserta Kelas Riset. Kegiatan mencakup penyampaian materi, praktik simulasi pengajuan judul penelitian, penyusunan proposal mini riset, sistem bimbingan dosen, serta proses publikasi artikel ilmiah, yang dikombinasikan dengan diskusi interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta secara konseptual dan praktis. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan rata-rata skor pemahaman peserta sebesar 83,64, dengan nilai tertinggi 88,37 dan nilai terendah 78,60. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa metode pendampingan dan simulasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam pengelolaan riset secara sistematis dan terarah.

Abstract

Several inconsistent research results regarding the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing Mathematical Abilities (MA) of primary school students have been reported widely by some researchers. To summarize, estimate, and evaluate the effect of PBL on MA of primary school students and investigate the study characteristics that provoked the heterogeneous effect size, a systematic review and meta-analysis was employed. Hedge's equation was employed to measure effect size using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software as an analysis tool. The synthesis of 16 relevant primary studies revealed that the overall implementation of PBL had a high positive effect (g = 1,050) significantly compared to conventional learning on MA of primary school students based on a random effect model. Moreover, the characteristics of the sampling technique, publication index, and MA significantly caused the heterogeneity of the effect size of PBL towards students' MA. Thus, these results suggest that primary school mathematics teachers should select PBL as one of the best solutions to enhance students' MA and consider the characteristics of students MA that will be improved. Besides, researchers should select random sampling as a sampling technique to select the sample and the literature indexed by Scopus as references to support the quality of research.

Abstract

This article discusses the results of research on the combination of learning rate values, momentum, and the number of neurons in the hidden layer of the ANN Backpropagation (ANN-BP) architecture using meta-analysis. This study aims to find out the most recommended values at each learning rate and momentum interval, namely [0.1], as well as the number of neurons in the hidden layer used during the data training process. We conducted a meta-analysis of the use of learning rate, momentum, and number of neurons in the hidden layer of ANN-BP. The eligibility data criteria of 63 data include a learning rate of 44 complete data, the momentum of 30 complete data, and the number of neurons in the hidden layer of 45 complete data. The results of the data analysis showed that the learning rate value was recommended at intervals of 0.1-0.2 with a RE model value of 0.938 (very high), the momentum at intervals of 0.7-0.9 with RE model values of 0.925 (very high), and the number of neurons in the input layer that was smaller than the number of neurons in the hidden layer with a RE model value of 0.932 (very high). This recommendation is obtained from the results of data analysis using JASP by looking at the effect size of the accuracy level of research sample data.

Abstract

Introduction: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder requiring continuous self-care to prevent complications. Health education plays a crucial role in enhancing patients’ understanding, attitudes, and skills for effective self-management. This study aimed to investigate the impact of health education on self-care behaviors among patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Methods: This quasi-experimental study employed a pretest–posttest design with a control group. The study involved 60 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) selected using purposive sampling from a public health center. The intervention group received structured health education sessions covering diet management, physical activity, medication adherence, and blood glucose monitoring for a period of four weeks, while the control group received standard care. Data were collected using the Summary of Diabetes Self-Care Activities (SDSCA) questionnaire. Statistical analysis was conducted using paired and independent t-tests with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: The findings showed a significant increase in self-care behavior scores in the intervention group after receiving health education (p < 0.001), while no significant change was observed in the control group (p > 0.05). The mean difference between the two groups indicated that health education had a positive effect on self-care behavior among patients with T2DM. Conclusion: Health education has a significant impact on improving self-care behaviors among patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Structured and continuous education increases patients’ awareness, adherence, and ability to manage diet, exercise, medication, and blood glucose monitoring effectively. Healthcare providers should integrate regular health education programs into diabetes management to enhance patients’ self-care skills and prevent complications. Further research with larger samples and longer follow-up is recommended to evaluate the long-term impact of such interventions.

Abstract

Learning with the quantum learning model is one of the learning methods in its implementatied Learning with the quantum learning model is one of the learning methods in its implementation enjoy being more active in discussing and working together in class. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the quantum learning model on increasing student motivation and learning activities. This research is experimental quantitative research consisting of two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. Data collection instruments used questionnaires.Data analysis used in this study is a descriptive test, normality test, and paired sample test. The results of the normality test (Shapiro-Wilk) for learning motivation of the control class and experimental class amounted to 0.147 greater than 0.05 and for learning activities of the control class and experimental class amounted to 0.362 greater than 0.05. T-test for learning motivation showed that the improvement of the experimental class was higher than the control class (t = -0.785 p = 0.220 > 0.05) and the SE value of Cohen's d (0.317). The T-test for learning activities showed that the increase in learning motivation of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class (t = -2.506 p = 0.009 < 0.05) and the SE Cohen's d value (0.194).That's whybased on the results show that the quantum learning model can increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Differentiated learning can foster creativity, independence, and motivation to learn in students. However, misconceptions in understanding and implementing this approach produce negative outcomes. This study analyzes misconceptions in differentiated learning among Indonesian social studies teachers, examining their forms, causes, and impacts. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing structured and open-ended interviews conducted via Google Forms, with 126 randomly selected social studies teachers across Indonesia. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Results reveal significant misconceptions among Indonesian social studies teachers. Key findings include an overemphasis on learning styles (auditory, visual, kinesthetic) in teaching practices, uniform time allocation despite varying student abilities, and excessive reliance on group learning without considering individual student profiles, including those who prefer independent learning. These misconceptions reveal fundamental misunderstandings about the principles of differentiated instruction, underscoring the need for enhanced teacher training and professional development programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi diferensiasi dalam meningkatkan keunggulan bersaing pada Cut N’ Cup Barbersho and Coffee. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data terdiri atas data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Selain itu, pendekatan ERRC (Eliminate, Reduce, Raise, Create) juga diterapkan untuk menganalisis bagaimana strategi diferensiasi diterapkan dalam menciptakan keunggulan bersaing pada Cut N’ Cup Barbershop and Coffee. Proses analisis dibantu dengan perangkat lunak NVivo 15. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Cut N’ Cup menerapkan strategi diferensiasi melalui penggabungan konsep barbershop dan coffee shop, penggunaan desain interior yang unik, penyediaan produk berkualitas, serta pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran digital. Strategi ini berhasil menciptakan pengalaman baru bagi pelanggan, membuka pasar baru dalam industri barbershop di Makassar, serta meningkatkan daya tarik dan daya saing bisnis. Meskipun demikian, Cut N’ Cup menghadapi sejumlah tantangan seperti pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, manajemen antrian pelanggan, dan menjaga konsistensi kualitas layanan saat kondisi ramai. Dengan pengelolaan yang baik dan inovasi yang berkelanjutan, Cut N’ Cup mampu mempertahankan keunggulan bersaingnya sekaligus memperluas jangkauan pasarnya.

Abstract

Globally, efforts to enhance Arabic language education continue to struggle with the absence of standardized post-certification evaluation systems, and in Indonesia, this challenge is particularly evident as the lack of systematic instruments and models for assessing certified teachers undermines the long-term sustainability of professional quality. Addressing this gap, the present study was designed to develop a performance assessment instrument and a training management model within a quality-based framework that strengthens four core competencies: pedagogical, personal, social, and professional. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 261 certified Arabic teachers working at MI, MTs, and MA levels across 10 districts and cities in West Nusa Tenggara Province, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Validation testing confirmed that the developed instrument demonstrated high validity and reliability, making it suitable for consistent use in teacher evaluation. Furthermore, performance results revealed that the majority of teachers were categorized as “very good,” indicating strong competence and positive contributions to effective, character-based learning. These findings highlight the significance of integrating systematic assessment with a continuous training model. The study suggests that adopting the proposed quality-based framework offers a sustainable pathway to enhance teacher competencies, aligning with both national education standards and Islamic educational values.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut pendekatan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan pengetahuan, tetapi juga pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir reflektif, regulasi diri, dan transformasi cara pandang peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara konseptual integrasi teori belajar konstruktivistik, metakognisi, dan pembelajaran transformatif sebagai kerangka psikologi pendidikan yang relevan dalam konteks pendidikan kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka sistematis terhadap literatur primer yang relevan dalam bidang psikologi pendidikan dan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran artikel jurnal bereputasi dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi keterkaitan konseptual antar teori. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konstruktivisme menyediakan landasan epistemologis bagi pembelajaran aktif, metakognisi berperan sebagai mekanisme regulatif yang memperkuat kemandirian belajar, sementara pembelajaran transformatif memungkinkan terjadinya perubahan kerangka berpikir yang lebih reflektif dan adaptif. Integrasi ketiga perspektif tersebut membentuk kerangka pembelajaran multidimensional yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, khususnya keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada penguatan diskursus psikologi pendidikan dengan menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan integratif dalam merancang pembelajaran yang bermakna dan berkelanjutan.
