Abstract

RAHMAH, KARTAWINATA, K., NISYAWATI, WARDHANA, W. & NURDIN, E. 2016. Tree species diversity in the lowland forest of the core zone of the Bukit Duabelas National Park, Jambi, Indonesia. Reinwardtia 15(1): 11 - 26. — An analysis of the composition and structure of a one-hectare plot of forest on a lowland hill slope in the eastern core zone of the Bukit Duabelas National Park, Jambi, was conducted in October and November 2012. The objective of the study was to obtain a descriptive account of the structure and tree species composition of a lowland forest in the eastern core zone of the park. The plot was divided into 100 subplots of (10 m × 10 m) each and the seedling subplots (5 m × 5 m) were nested in the sapling subplots. A total of 414 trees were recorded with DBH (Diameter at Breast Height) ?10 cm, representing 113 species and 38 families, with the total BA (Basal Area) of 25.71 m2 and Shannon- Wiener diversity index of 4.29. Prunus arborea with IV (Importance Value) of 19.19 is the dominant species and the other prevalent species were, Dracontomelon dao (IV =11.46) and Hydnocarpus sp. (IV =11.38). A total of 44 species (38.9%) had each density of 1 tree/ha, which may be considered locally rare. Ficus fistulosa had the highest density (24 trees/ha) and Prunus arborea had the highest BA (3.28 m2 = 12.8% of the total). Only 10 species had F (frequency) of 8-18%, of which Hydnocarpus sp. had the highest (18%); the remaining species had F

Abstract

The concept of monotheism is the fundamental and most important element in Islam. This research aims to investigate the influence of multimedia learning modules on students' learning outcomes in enhancing their understanding of Tawheed by assessing the effectiveness of multimedia learning modules in improving students' understanding of monotheism. The research method employed was an experimental study involving three groups: one experimental group and two control groups. The population for this study consisted of all civil engineering and geology students, with 25 participants in each group, both in the experimental and control classes within the D-III Civil Engineering program. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The research design utilized a Pretest-Posttest Mixed Design. Data analysis was conducted using the ANOVA Mixed Design in the General Linear Model (GLM) with the assistance of SPSS. The research findings indicate that the pretest-posttest score change in the experimental group is significant, with a Mean Difference (MD) of -27.850, as well as in the control group with a Mean Difference (MD) of -19.850. These score changes indicate that the Multimedia Learning Module can enhance students' understanding of Tawheed. The effectiveness of the Multimedia Learning Module in improving students' understanding of Tawheed is 0.839.

Abstract

Abstract

The new paradigm in the National Family Planning program has changed its vision, which was originally aimed at realizing the norm of a Small Happy Prosperous Family (NKKBS), to a vision of achieving Quality Families. One of the efforts in the family planning program is the regulation of pregnancy spacing through the use of contraceptive devices, which are tools used to prevent pregnancy. This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge, attitudes, and culture of family planning acceptors and the selection of Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices (IUCD) in Bebesen Village, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency in 2025. This research is descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional approach and uses purposive sampling method with 59 respondents. The study was conducted from January 12 to February 25, 2025. Statistical analysis using the chi-square test shows a P-value of 0.016, indicating a relationship between knowledge and the selection of IUCD. Further analysis using the chi-square test shows a P-value of 0.013, indicating a relationship between the attitudes of family planning acceptors and the selection of IUCD, and the statistical analysis with the chi-square test shows a P-value of 0.030, indicating a relationship between the culture of family planning acceptors and not selecting IUCD.

Abstract

This study explores the role of moral literacy in developing the religious character of children aged 5–6 years at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Kindergarten in Pangkalan Kerinci. Using a qualitative approach, the research involved 9 participants: 1 principal, 3 teachers, and 5 parents. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that moral literacy significantly contributes to shaping children's religious character through several literacy activities, including Duha prayer practice, infak and almsgiving, etiquette in daily behavior, respectful communication, helping others, and murajaah—the memorization and review of short surahs and hadiths. These practices are integrated into the school’s curriculum, which follows the ISMUBA framework (Al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, and Arabic). Through routine implementation, these moral literacy programs instill values such as piety, discipline, compassion, and respect in young children. The findings indicate that children are becoming increasingly familiar with religious practices, demonstrating improved behavior and spiritual awareness. Overall, the study concludes that moral literacy serves as a foundational tool in early childhood education for fostering religious values. When consistently applied, these activities effectively support the formation of a strong religious character in children, aligning with the educational goals of Islamic-based early childhood institutions.
