Abstract

Kyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan (1 August 1868 Yogyakarta - 23 February 1923 Yogyakarta), born Muhammad Darwis, was an Indonesian Islamic revivalist who established Muhammadiyah in 1912. He created Muhammadiyah in 1912 as an educational organisation as a means of realising his reformist ideals. It was quickly joined by traders and craftsmen. In 1917 added a women's section named Aisyiyah, which played a significant role in modernising the life of Indonesian women. Spreading to the Outer Islands, Muhammadiyah established a strong base in Sulawesi only a decade later after it was founded. It was one of a number of indigenous Indonesian organisations founded in the first three decades of the twentieth century;a time known as the Indonesian National Revival; that were key in establishing a sense of Indonesian nationalism, and ultimately independence. Dahlan was completely absorbed in the field of education. Aiming point on the world of education in turn drove him into the heart of the people who actually matter. Based on the description of this concept can be used later to build a more effective nation that is through education. KH Ahmad Dahlan is a man of action types that are already in place when leaving quite a lot of charitable efforts are not made. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet. Rasulullah SAW taught that when a pandemic occurs, we must avoid the outbreak, this is also in accordance with government policy, which is to change the learning system to online. This study investigated how teachers and students perceive the use of an online platform, namely Quipper School, in the implementation of English learning. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method by observing the implementation of learning and interviewing 1 teacher and 5 students. The researcher concluded that the interest of teachers and students in using the Quipper platform was quite low. In addition, there were many challenges that must be faced by teachers, one of which was the low motivation of students in learning during the pandemic. Therefore, a teacher needs to increase the spirit of learning to his students in accordance with Islam and science.

Abstract

Even when the situation makes students unable to meet with teachers directly, the learning process has to keep going so that there is no intelligence gap for students who are still in school during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is an interview using five questions as the research instrument and has 6 research subjects, consist of 1 English teacher and 5 junior high school students. This research was held to describe the actual conditions at the junior high school level, especially the use of technology and also online learning within the scope of English language education then relate it to the Islamic view of science. Interestingly, the researcher emphasized the results which stated that students and teachers were not quite satisfied with online learning that had been going on for more than a year both in terms of process and results.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sejak diberlakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar jarak jauh, kompleksitas tugas guru semakin tinggi oleh karena adanya sikap ketidaksiapan guru dan kurang meleknya guru akan penggunaan teknologi berbasis informasi yang dapat menunjang efektif dan efisiennya kinerja guru. Selain kepada permasalahan kompleksitas tugas guru, kurang adanya kesadaran akan pentingnya perilaku knowledge sharing sebagai bentuk kerja sama antara guru menjadi penghambat bagi peningkatan kinerja tugas guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah kompleksitas tugas dan knowledge sharing berpengaruh terhadap kinerja tugas guru. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah guru MTs di Tegal Parang Jakarta Selatan yang dijaring dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan ketiga variabel tersebut diukur dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan  analisis statistik inferensial, yakni analisis korelasi ganda dan korelasi parsial. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kompleksitas tugas berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja tugas, knowledge sharing berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja tugas, dan kompleksitas tugas dan knowledge sharing secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja tugas. Hasl penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi manajemen kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalui peningkatan kinerja tugas, dan juga sebagai bahan referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya. Abstract: Since the implementation of distance learning activities, the complexity of the teacher's task has increased due to the attitude of the teacher's unpreparedness and lack of literacy for the use of information-based technology that can support the effectiveness and efficiency of teacher performance. In addition to the problem of the complexity of the teacher's task, the lack of awareness of the importance of knowledge sharing behavior as a form of cooperation between teachers is an obstacle to improving teacher performance. This study aims to prove whether task complexity and knowledge sharing affect task performance. The targets in this study were MTs teachers in Tegal Parang, South Jakarta who were recruited using a questionnaire and the three variables were measured using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used inferential statistical analysis, namely multiple correlation analysis and partial correlation. The results of this study are task complexity has a positive effect on task performance, knowledge sharing has a positive effect on task performance, and task complexity and knowledge sharing together have a positive effect on task performance. The results of this study are expected to be used as evaluation material for work management to improve organizational performance through increasing task performance, and also as reference material for further research.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the importance of understanding the nature of science for science teachers as a solution in teaching multidimensional science. Science is a knowledge (scientific product), a series of investigation processes (scientific process), and scientific attitude which is reflected in the nature of Science (Nature of Science). NOS describes the real science, how it works, and its interaction with society in the perspectives of philosophy, history, sociology, and psychology of science. Understanding NOS is an important aspect of scientific literacy. The results of research in recent times show that teachers and students do not understand the concept of NOS optimally. This study uses literature analysis. The results show that NOS is divided into three main aspects, namely the nature of scientific knowledge, the nature of scientific investigation and the nature of scientific endeavor. understanding the concept of NOS must be an important part to be instilled in science teachers. Learning science is not just knowing natural objects, but science has a wider study dimension than that, which needs to be studied from the ontological, epistemological and axiological side. Teachers must master how to teach science, how the impact or influence of science learning and what influences science learning. Thus, understanding the NOS concept of science teachers will have an impact on students' mastery of understanding the NOS concept.

Abstract

This study is one of the efforts to examine the literature because there is still limited reconstruction of the original science that developed in society into scientific science. This study can then be developed and applied by students as a source of independent learning. The study of local potential in science learning is very important to do, considering that not many have comprehensively analyzed this topic. The local potential that exists in each region can be a wealth of references in learning. Local potential in the form of natural resources, language, customs, arts and can be a wealth of food. Since ancient times, the role of food has been studied as an ingredient to fulfill nutritional needs. Without realizing it, food, especially traditional food, has become the identity of a nation. Traditional food can be a reflection of the geographical, social and cultural conditions that are unique to a nation. This research is important to do so that the potential for research can be known and can be used as a consideration in developing further learning designs. The purpose of this study is to reconstruct the concept of science learning to increase local food preferences into scientific science, as well as to explain science material related to the reconstruction of original science in the process of making traditional food.

Abstract

The skills of students in the global era or the twenty-first century become a very important topic in learning. The lack of students' understanding of 21st century skills is caused by a lack of global awareness and the importance of global skills which are the basis for developing students' self as citizens of the world. Globalization shows that the world is getting smaller, the dependence between nations is getting bigger. Globalization is a globalizing process, meaning that all activities are calculated for the benefit of the world. Therefore, it is necessary to study in-depth literature on increasing global awareness as the basis for future education. The method used is literature review. The source of the literature review used is in the form of articles that are in accordance with this article. students need academic and applied knowledge, can connect knowledge and skills, be creative and adaptive, and be able to transform all these aspects into valuable skills. Abstract

This study was aimed to examine the effect of gratitude intervention towards people with physical disabilities well-being. The participants were two groups of people with physical disabilities (8 people for experimental group and 5 people for control group). The design of this study was untreated control group design with dependent pre-test and post-test samples. The similar treatment was also given for control group as a waiting list after intervention for experimental group. Well being was assessed using SPANE, PWS, and PTS. The result showed that there are significant differences in wellbeing score between experimental group and control group which are measured by SPANE U test -2,509, p=0,012. PWS U test -2,874, p=0,04. PTS U test -2,590, p=0,010.

Abstract

The study was concern to participants of Event Gathering in Bali especially at IFBEC (Indonesia Food and Beverage Association). This research is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination analysis, using the SPSS program for windows version 2.0. with the stepwise method. The results of this study are the service quality and sustainable green event jointly positive and significant effect on satisfaction with an F value of 36.995, a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, while partially service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction of event gathering participants in Bali especially members of the Indonesia Food and Beverage Executive Club (IFBEC) with a value of t = 6.082 significant at 0,000 (<0.05), and have a more dominant influence compared to sustainable events.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the legal advisory and legal assistance service "Bilik Hukum" from both the financial and business risk aspects. The business finance strategy method focuses on calculating investment value by calculating Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Average Rate of Return (ARR), Profitability Index (PI), and Payback period (PP). The method in risk management is carried out in six stages, namely (1) risk analysis, (2) risk evaluation. (3) risk management. (4) communication and consultation, (5) monitoring and review, (6) recording and reporting. The results showed that the Bilik Hukum was financially feasible with a positive ROI value from the second to the fifth year, the NPV value was positive at Rp. 10,171,215,666,-, IRR is 68% above the discount rate of 10%, ARR is 319% (greater than 100%), PI is 3.41, and the payback period is 1 year 7 months. Risk management what was done by the Bilik Hukum succeeded in reducing the level of risk impact which was originally at a high level to a medium level and from a medium level to a low level.
