Abstract

Minyak sereh di Sumatera Barat khususnya Padang sebagian besar masih diusahakan oleh masyarakat petani awam, sehingga minyak yang dihasilkan tidak memenuhi persyaratan mutu yang ditetapkan. Salah satu dari faktor penentu kualitas minyak sereh adalah kualitas daun sereh yang sudah dikeringkan sebelum disuling. Penurunan kadar air yang disarankan adalah sebesar 15%. Diketahui teknik yang digunakan masih hanya mengandalkan sinar matahari langsung tanpa menggunakan teknologi yang tinggi, sehingga daun jadi terlalu kering. Selain itu, kondisi ini akan menimbulkan hambatan jika saat musim hujan, karena tidak adanya matahari untuk melakukan proses pengeringan. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya mesin pengering daun sereh sistem rotary untuk mendapatkan penurunan kadar air pada daun sebesar 15%. Mesin dibuat dengan kapasitas 10 kg/jam menggunakan sistem rotary dan pemanas yang bersumber dari api kompor gas. Pengujian dilakukan pada 3 variasi waktu, yaitu selama 15 menit, 30 menit, dan 45 menit dengan daun sereh 3 kg. Hasil pengujian mesin didapatkan proses pengeringan daun serah yang mendekati persentase penurunan kadar air 15% adalah pada hasil pengujian pertama dengan waktu pengujian 15 menit dengan presentase sebesar 16,6 %. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa mesin telah dibuat sesuai kebutuhan pengeringan daun sereh yang diharapkan untuk mendapatkan kualitas minyak sereh yang bagus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how competence, motivation, and job satisfaction affect employee performance at PT Bank Mega, Tbk Makassar Area. The data collection technique was carried out through distributing questionnaires, with the number of samples determined as many as 132 respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the competency variable has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT Bank Mega, Tbk Makassar Area. Work motivation variable has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Job satisfaction variable also has a positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT. Bank Mega, Tbk Makassar Area.

Abstract

This research analyzes the types of Lexical Relations found in the Purple Heart Movie.Lexical Relations is a branch of Semantics that focuses on the meaning of word. Lexical Relations describe the meaning of words in relation to other words. There are eight of Lexical Relations such as : homonymy, polysemy, synonymy, opposites (Antonymy), hyponymy, meronymy, member-collection and portion-mass. The objectives of this research are (1) To identify the types of Lexical Relations that found in the Purple Heart movie. This analysis is based on the theory by Saaed (2003) by explain eight types of Lexical Relations.The researcher used the descriptive qualitative method because this research aimed to describe the meaning of the word from utterances on movie that spoken by characters. Pictures are also used to present the result and to make it easier for readers to understand.The result of the research reveals some findings: There are 57 data the researcher collected from utterances used by characters in Purple Heart movie. Such as 4 homonymy,15 Polysemy,7 synonymy,13 opposites (antonymy),6 hyponymy, 3 meronymy, 4 member-collection and 5 portion-mass in the dialogue of Purple Heart movie. Then, the researcher found the dominant of types Lexical Relations of this research is 15 Polysemy from 57 data total.

Abstract

Terbatasnya ruang lingkup pemasaran yang di capai pemilik UMKM dan kurangnya pemahaham dan pemanfaatan media sosial merupakan masalah yang dimiliki Pemilik UMKM. Pemilik UMKM semestinya memiliki Strategi dalam peningkatan pemasaran secara digital. Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana pemasaran online untuk memperoleh ruang lingkup pemasaran yang lebih luas. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pendampingan kepada pemilik UMKM. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu dan meyakinkan Pebisnis UMKM Rujak Seraya Atas tentang betapa bermanfaatnya media sosial sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan ruangl ingkup pemasaran mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu adanya pendampingan dalam membantu pelaku UMKM supaya bisa memiliki sarana pemasaran yang berbasis media sosial Dengan adanya pengabdian mengenai strategi peningkatan pemasaran melalui media sosial, dapat diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh dan manfaat media sosial terhadap pengembangan pemasaran UMKM Rujak Seraya Atas.

Abstract

Evaluasi kinerja yang efektif diperlukan untuk mengukur sejauh mana karyawan telah memenuhi ekspektasi kerja, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan, serta merancang pengembangan karir yang sesuai. Target dari kegiatan evaluasi kinerja karyawan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) pada CV Bangun Citra Kaji adalah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, produktivitas, dan kualitas kerja karyawan, serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan jangka panjang perusahaan. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah modul evaluasi kinerja karyawan, modul pengembangan SDM, dan rincian tahapan perencanaan karier dan pengembangan karyawan pada CV Bangun Citra Kaji.

Abstract

Coffee is a globally significant commodity with high economic value and extensive social impact. Nevertheless, the intricate nature of the coffee supply chain frequently leads to issues concerning visibility, traceability, and sustainability. Blockchain offers a decentralized, transparent, and secure approach to mitigate these problems effectively. This research seeks to explore the current trends, core motivations, and auxiliary technologies that facilitate the integration of blockchain technology within the coffee supply chain. A total of 16 scientific articles published in Scopus-indexed journals (Q1 to Q4) between 2019 and 2024 were selected and analyzed using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The findings reveal that traceability and transparency are the primary focuses of blockchain implementation. The study also identifies several supporting technologies, such as smart contracts, Distributed Ledger Technology, IoT, NFT, and Artificial Intelligence, which play critical roles in enhancing the efficiency and security of blockchain-based coffee supply chains.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of the need to seek variety and consumer dissatisfaction on switching the Xiaomi smartphone brand in Padang City. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling, the research sample was 100 respondents, the data collection method was using Google from. The data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression, t test, F test and coefficient of determination. From the results of the multiple linear regression test, it is Y = 0.856 + 0.330X1 + 0.655X2 + e. The t test carried out showed that the need to seek variety (X1) and consumer dissatisfaction (X2) partially had a significant effect on switching the Xiaomi smartphone brand in Padang City (Y). The results of the F test prove that the need to seek variety and consumer dissatisfaction together have a significant effect on switching the Xiaomi smartphone brand in Padang City. The coefficient of determination was 73.1%, while the remaining 26.9% was explained by other variables not discussed in the research, such as product quality and company image. Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of work environment, work motivation, and work discipline on teacher performance in Tanralili Sub-district, Maros, both partially and simultaneously. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 191 respondents, and data were analysed using multiple linear regression method. The results showed that the work environment has a significant positive effect on teacher performance, especially through aspects of work facilities and communication that create a conducive work atmosphere. However, work motivation, measured through physical needs such as rewards in the form of salary, shows a negative influence on teacher performance, indicating that financial motivation alone is not enough to optimise performance. Work discipline, measured through attendance and vigilance indicators, also has a negative influence on performance, although it remains an important factor in supporting performance improvement. Simultaneously, these three variables contribute 9.5% to teacher performance, while the remaining 90.5% is influenced by other factors such as competence, leadership style, or social environment. The F test results show a significant joint effect of these variables on teacher performance. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of performance improvement strategies through improving the work environment, providing more thorough motivation, and improving discipline holistically

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the relationship between compensation, leadership, and work discipline on the performance of cooperative employees. The research approach uses quantitative methods with data analysis through the SPSS version 29 programme, using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. Tests include partial test (t test) and simultaneous test (F test). The research subjects were employees of Denmadan XIII Cooperative of North Sulawesi, with a total sample of 30 people. The results showed that the variables of compensation, leadership, and work discipline simultaneously affect employee performance. Together, the three independent variables have a significant influence on the performance of employees of the Koperasi Denmadan XIII Merdeka. Partial test results show that compensation variables significantly affect employee performance, while leadership and work discipline variables also partially contribute significantly to employee performance. This study confirms the importance of compensation, leadership, and work discipline in improving the performance of cooperative employees

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of village clean traditions, as well as describe the socio-religious values ​​in village clean traditions. The formulation of the problems in this research includes 1.) How is the role of village clean traditions in the village of Sonoageng, Nganjuk district? 2.) How to realize socio-religious values ​​in the village clean tradition in Sonoageng village, Nganjuk district? This research uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using literature. The research findings show that clean village traditions in the Javanese perspective are considered as a form of community gratitude to the Almighty for the abundance of sustenance that has been given. This research can be concluded that social values ​​that can be used as a guide in everyday behavior.
