Abstract

This study aims to analyze waste management in Islamic boarding schools in Tangkit Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The type of research conducted is quantitative research with data collection methods using questionnaires and observations. The sample in this study was 6 Islamic Boarding Schools. The results of this study found that waste management in the Islamic Boarding School was still far from optimal.

Abstract

Kebutuhan energi listrik yang terus meningkat menggambarkan kemajuan masyarakat. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi listrik ini, diperlukan sebuah pembangkit listrik. Di sisi lain, pembangkitan energi listrik dari sumber daya fosil, yang selama ini menjadi andalan, harus diminimalkan. Indonesia adalah negara tropis, sehingga memiliki dua musim, yaitu musim hujan dan musim kemarau dengan potensi energi matahari yang baik dengan rata-rata insolasi harian 4,8 kWh/m2/hari. Energi termal matahari dapat dimanfaatkan dengan bantuan salah satu alat, yaitu sel surya yang mengubah radiasi matahari menjadi energi listrik. Namun, pada musim hujan, pemanfaatan energi matahari tidak optimal, sehingga untuk mendukung hal ini, dibuatlah sistem pembangkit listrik tenaga surya hibrida (PLTS) dengan pembangkit listrik piezoelektrik (PLTP) yang merupakan transduser aktif dengan prinsip kerja menghasilkan listrik dari bahan kristalin akibat tekanan atau gaya dari matahari. Perancangan alat ini bertujuan untuk penggunaan daya listrik PLN yang efisien dengan menggabungkan PLTS dan PLTP yang disebut dengan sistem hibrida terhubung ke jaringan. Perancangan alat ini dilakukan untuk menghemat penggunaan sumber daya PLN, selain itu juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang sumber energi alternatif untuk PLTS dan PLTP dari desain konstruksi, prosedur kerja, komponen dan bahan alat, perhitungan spesifikasi alat, serta perakitan komponen alat tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil desain yang telah dilakukan dan pengujian alat, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan alat sistem hibrida terhubung ke jaringan berbasis piezoelektrik dan surya sangat dianjurkan untuk penggunaan skala rumah tangga karena dapat menghemat penggunaan daya PLN, namun terdapat hambatan karena kurangnya spesifikasi piezoelektrik, sehingga desain untuk pengisi daya baterai kurang maksimal dimana perhitungan teoretis 54 komponen piezoelektrik berdasarkan pengamatan osiloskop terhadap tegangan DC adalah 38,6 V. Tegangan yang seharusnya tercapai untuk pengisi daya baterai tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan.

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF WORK MOTIVATION AND VISIONARY LEADERSHIP ON ELEMENTARY TEACHERS' WORK EFFECTIVENESSWith its practical implications, this study aims to identify strategies that can enhance teacher work effectiveness by examining its association with work motivation and visionary leadership. The study was conducted on a population of 140 civil servant teachers, with a sample of 104 teachers, determined using the Yamane formula with a 5% error tolerance. Data were collected through a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The findings of the study revealed three crucial and positive relationships. First, a strong and positive correlation was found between work motivation and teacher work effectiveness (correlation coefficient of 0.63). Second, a positive and significant relationship was observed between visionary leadership and teacher work effectiveness (correlation coefficient of 0.48). Third, a positive and significant relationship was identified between work motivation, visionary leadership, and teacher work effectiveness (correlation coefficient of 0.696)...

Abstract

This research aims to: First, analyze the partial effect of leadership style on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin. Second, analyze the partial effect of organizational culture on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin. Third, analyze the partial effect of job satisfaction on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin. Fourth, analyze the simultaneous effect of leadership style, organizational culture, and job satisfaction on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin.The population in this study consists of all permanent employees of PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin, and the sample is the entire population, totaling 40 respondents. This study is a quantitative research using a descriptive quantitative approach. The analysis tools used in this study include validity and reliability tests for the data. The hypothesis testing methods used are the F-test and t-test.Based on the results of the research conducted, the following conclusions can be drawn: First, leadership style has a partial effect on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin. Second, organizational culture has a partial effect on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin. Third, job satisfaction has a partial effect on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin. Fourth, leadership style, organizational culture, and job satisfaction have a simultaneous effect on employee loyalty at PT. Anugerah Mahadaya Nusantara Banjarmasin.For future research, it is recommended to further develop the factors that influence employee loyalty in the future. In addition, upcoming studies could use a broader subject of research with a larger sample size. Future research is also expected to add more items to the questionnaire to provide a more detailed measurement of each indicator, include independent variables that were not studied in this research, and incorporate other dependent variables such as employee performance.

Abstract

With the development of technology and information fields, it has allowed foreign companies or businesses from one country to enter into another country. This must have been a very good opportunity for all companies around the world. However, there is an important thing or point in determining the success or failure of a company in implementing an international scale business, namely understanding the cultural environment or culture of various regions. In general, culture can have an impact on some activities or business aspects, such as communication; negotiation & decision making; the value of beliefs; business practices; consumer preferences or interests up to human resource management. One of the companies engaged in an international scale is McDonald's, where McDonald's is a fast food business that is very active in doing business on an international scale. Abstract

Masyarakat yang tinggal di daerah pesisir pantai biasanya bermata pencarian sebagai Nelayan. Kampung Tua bakau Strip, Bale-Bale yang berada diwilayah pesisir pantai mempunyai potensi alam berupa pohon kelapa yang banyak tersebar di daerah pantai. Banyaknya pohon kelapa belum dapat dimaksimalkan secara ekonomis oleh masyawakat. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan agar potensi alam di Kampung Tua Bakau Strip Bale-Bale dapat memberikan peningkatan ekomoni warga. Metode pelaksanaan dengan memberikan edukasi atau pelatihan kewirausahaan kepada warga melalui presentasi dan diskusi. Program tersebut dihadiri  sekitar 25 warga Kampung Tua bakau Strip, Bale-Bale bersama Mahasiswa dan Dosen STIE Galileo. Dari hasil pelatihan tersebut, mayoritas peserta memahami tentang materi yang disampaikan oleh pemateri dan cara memanfaatkan pohon kelapa menjadi barang bernilai ekonomis

Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the extent and kind of flexible work arrangements(FWAs) in Indonesian startups, considering alternatives for remote work, fluctuating work schedules, and other forms of flexibility. Additionally, it examines how employee commitment is affected by flexible work schedules. And explores the role of sustainable human resource practices in moderating the relationship between employee commitment and flexible work schedules.Methodology: This study employs a structural equation model (SEM) to analyze data collected from 247 employees, assessing the relationships among FWAs, sustainable HR practices, and employee commitment.Finding: This study confirms that FWAs positively contribute to employee commitment, with sustainable HR practices acting as a moderating factor. FWAs enhances job satisfaction and reduces stress, while sustainable HR strategies support employee engagement in the digital era. These findings highlight the importance of integrating FWAs and sustainable HR practices to create an adaptive work environment, improve retention, and drive productivity in the startup ecosystem.Conclusion: This study highlights the significance of FWAs in increasing employee commitment, particularly when supported by sustainable HR practices. By integrating FWAs with sustainability-driven HR strategies, startups can cultivate a resilient workforce, promote long-term retention, and drive innovation in dynamic and evolving business landscapes.

Abstract

Keunggulan manusia atas hewan lain terletak pada kecerdasannya. Pengetahuan ini memungkinkan orang untuk mengetahui tentang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Dengan pengetahuannya, orang dapat membuat berbagai tugas, dari yang paling sederhana hingga yang paling kompleks dan sangat terampil. Komputer merupakan salah satu bagian terpenting dari pekerjaan manusia saat ini. Kurangnya pengetahuan petani tentang penyakit tanaman tomat menjadi masalah tersendiri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan seorang spesialis atau ahli untuk membuat diagnosis yang benar. Keterbatasan waktu yang dimiliki seorang ahli atau ahli untuk menasihati petani tidak sama dengan jumlah ahli atau ahli pertanian tetapi dengan jumlah petani yang ada. Oleh karena itu, perlu dibuat sistem pakar yang dapat memberikan informasi, mengambil keputusan dan mengatasi penyakit tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pakar diagnosis penyakit pada tanaman tomat menggunakan metode rantai maju dan faktor kepastian berbasis web. Serta memberikan solusi manajemen atau pengobatan agar dapat memberikan informasi yang cepat, akurat dan bermanfaat. Dengan menggunakan metode web forward chaining dan Certainty Factor diharapkan dapat membantu dan memudahkan para petani khususnya petani tomat untuk segera mengambil langkah-langkah yang tepat untuk mendiagnosa/mengelola hama dan penyakit.

Abstract

This study purposed to find out how the Management of Housing Development Planning at the Department of Housing, Settlements and Land in order to realize livable housing. This study used descriptive qualitative research.  The number of informants in this study was 10 (ten) people. By using data collection techniques, namely interviews, documentation, media review and direct observation. The results of the study showed that the Management of Housing Development Planning at the Department of Housing, Settlements and Land had been running optimally. This seen based on the 3 (three) indicators used, namely: Planning, Implementation, Evaluation and control. From planning was optimal, it could be seen in the tasks and functions to achieve the level of effectiveness and operational efficiency. In terms of implementation, it was good because we could see from all the plans that had prepared, it run well and was implemented properly. Finally, in terms of evaluation and control, it were optimal, because it had been known what strategies or plans need to be added or reduced, what tools or facilities need to be prepared to carry out the program, how long additional time was needed, and so on.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Every company that is established cannot deny that the competition is getting tougher, especially in this increasingly advanced era. The development of a company is strongly influenced by the quality of its human resources. Therefore, it is important for companies to strive for good performance from employees. One of the factors that affect employee performance is the motivation and compensation received by employees. If the company is able to pay attention and provide the right motivation and adequate compensation in accordance with the employee's work responsibilities, then the performance given by the employee will be even better so that it will be easier for the company to achieve its goals. Vice versa, employees who lack motivation and appropriate compensation from the company tend to have poor performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT Cendana Han Wijaya. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method, by distributing questionnaires as a data collection tool. In this study using saturated sampling techniques, where the total population of 142 people became the sample studied. The results of the study indicate that motivation and work compensation simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with F arithmetic greater than F table (55.700>3.06) and the sign value is not more than probability (0.000<0.05).
