Abstract

Student involvement in zakat fundraising activities has a crucial role in improving the welfare of student beneficiaries. Social solidarity realized through student participation not only creates a caring campus environment, but also has a positive impact on increasing zakat funds. The aim of research regarding the role of student involvement in zakat fundraising in improving the welfare of student beneficiaries is to determine the impact and contribution resulting from student participation in zakat fund collection activities. This research method is qualitative. And it was found that student involvement in zakat fundraising not only stimulates fund growth, but also forms an inclusive and empathetic campus community, supporting the vision of improving student welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of understanding agricultural zakat among rice farmers in Hutaraja Village, South Panyabungan District. Agricultural zakat has an important role in ensuring social justice and economic prosperity for farmers, as well as supporting sustainable agricultural development. This research method includes in-depth interviews with rice farmers and zakat managers, as well as analysis of documentation related to the zakat program. The research results reveal that the implementation of understanding agricultural zakat in Hutaraja Village is not fully optimal. There are several obstacles, such as farmers' lack of understanding of the concept of agricultural zakat, lack of transparency in the collection and distribution of zakat, and the extent of the benefits of zakat for farmers that have not been achieved. This research proposes increasing understanding of agricultural zakat, training and education, increasing transparency in zakat management, as well as efforts to expand the positive impact of zakat for rice farmers. The implication of this research is the importance of increasing understanding and implementation of agricultural zakat as a tool to support farmer welfare and agricultural sustainability in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of benefits and risks on interest in using E-Wallet DANA at UINSU partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is quantitative research with questionnaire data collection techniques and a population of 1125 students of the Sharia Accounting Study Program at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra with a sample used of 92 respondents with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Data testing techniques used in this study include Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Validity Test and Reliability Test, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Test, t test, F test, and Determination Coefficient Test. The results of this study indicate that First, the Benefits variable has a positive and significant effect on Interest with a t value (2.399) > t table (1.662). Second, Risk has a negative and significant effect on Interest with a calculated t value (- 1.029) < t table (1.662) and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. Third, the Benefits and Risk Variables affect the Interest in using e-wallets simultaneously (together), with Fcount> Ftable (11.199> 3.10) and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has also had a negative impact on the company, such as a decrease in share prices and financial performance, ehich can affect the company's value. Not a few of the company's employees were fired because of it. But why did so many people invest during the covid 19 pandemic? In fact, there has been an increase in the number of investors on the indonesian stock exchange market. In this study, we will idntify the factors that influence the increase in the number of investors on the indonesian stock exchange market. With qualitve research methods, descriptive, exploratory. The results of this study are that there are several factors that influence people to invest during the covid 19 pandemic, many people invest in pandemic conditions by conducting fundamental and technical analysis, conducting stock portfolios, choosing bussiness sectors that are still needed in pandemic conditions, and seeking the latest information issuer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the accountability of the PTPN II Ubudiyah Aulawiyah Mosque, the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, the Shalatul Falah Mosque in Tanjung Morawa District, to find out the application of financial reports to the PTPN II Ubudiyah Aulawiyah Mosque, the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, the Shalatul Falah Mosque in Tanjung Morawa District with ISAK 35, to find out the factors that hinder the accountability of the PTPN II Ubudiyah Aulawiyah Mosque, the Al-Ikhlas Mosque, the Salahul Falah Mosque in Tanjung Morawa District. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were the chairman and treasurer of the mosque and the objects of this research were the recording and financial reports of the three mosques. Data collection uses primary and secondary data from interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the administrators of the PTPN II Ubudiyah Aulawiyah mosque, Al-Ikhlas Mosque, and the Shalatul Falah Mosque have recorded and reported well, although they are still simple, only limited to recording the income and expenses of the mosque. The application of ISAK 35 regarding the presentation of financial statements of non-profit oriented entities in this case the mosque has not been implemented at the Ubudiyah Aulawiyah PTPN II mosque, Al-Ikhlas Mosque, Shalatul Falah Mosque. Because the treasurer of the mosque admits that the term is foreign to them. And the obstacles in preparing financial reports based on ISAK 35 faced by the management of the Ubudiyah Aulawiyah PTPN II mosque were the limited time in preparing financial reports, the Al-Ikhlas mosque had problems understanding ISAK 35 due to a lack of outreach to administrators, and the Shalatul Falah mosque was aware of the weakness of human resources in accounting.

Abstract

In Islam there are several forms of institutions that are expected to be able to support socio-economic welfare, one of which is waqf. Waqf is holding property that can be taken advantage of without being destroyed and for permissible use (not prohibited by syara) and is intended to gain the pleasure of Allah SWT. So far, people only know waqf in the form of land and buildings. While waqf in the form of money has not been well socialized. The lack of public understanding and knowledge about cash waqf has resulted in fewer people participating in cash waqf. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of attitudes, religiosity and information media on the interest of the Muslim community in cash waqf in the city of Medan. The quantitative research method uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to the Muslim community in the city of Medan, totaling 100 samples. The results of the study can be seen from the R Square value of 57% which means that attitudes, religiosity and information media have an effect of 57% on the interest in cash waqf in the city of Medan, while 43% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of zakat in improving the welfare of Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) in the Muslim community in Medan City. Zakat, as a financial instrument in Islam, not only functions as a religious obligation but also has great potential in reducing poverty and social injustice. SMEs in Medan City, which are an important pillar in the local economy, often face challenges such as limited capital, limited market access, and low managerial skills. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore how zakat can be optimized to provide a positive impact on the development of SMEs. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with zakat managers, zakat-receiving SMEs, and Islamic economic experts, as well as through analysis of related documents. The research results show that zakat plays a significant role in supporting SMEs by providing the necessary capital assistance, training and mentoring. Appropriate and effective distribution of zakat can increase the capacity of SMEs, expand market access, and improve the managerial skills of business actors. Factors that influence the effectiveness of zakat distribution include transparency and accountability of zakat management institutions, active participation from the community, and support from government policies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of accounting information systems for cash receipt procedures and cash disbursement procedures by fulfilling the accountability of financial statement management (case study of the SMKS Delima Nusantara Foundation Medan). This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects amounted to three people, including financial administration staff, treasury staff, and nursing principals. Data collection techniques in this study are interview techniques, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the application of the accounting information system in the SMKS Delima Nusantara Foundation Medan, especially in the cash receipts and disbursements procedure, has been said to be effective and in accordance with the applicable accounting information system procedures. However, in terms of accountability of the financial statements of the SMKS Delima Nusantara Foundation Medan according to the principle of accountability is still less effective due to lack of awareness in preparing the accountability report every month.

Abstract

The aim of conducting this research is to find out how the implementation and effectiveness of the siskeudes application is in increasing accountability in managing village fund allocation in Tanjung Merahe Village, Finish District, Langkat Regency. The research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction stages, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the Tanjung Merahe Village Government has used the siskeudes application in managing the allocation of village funds very well, seen from the implementation level of 77% which was obtained using the statistical analysis formula according to Dean J Champion and also the village financial system application is said to be effective because it has succeeded in fulfilling indicators of the effectiveness of the information system initiated by Delon Mclean as well as accountability reports on village fund allocations produced in accordance with established regulations, also supported by the implementation of village fund allocation budget realization with a percentage level of 100% as measured by the effectiveness ratio.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics, venture capital, and accounting information systems with the success of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bandar Setia Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. Quantitative methodology was used to validate this research. The sample size for this study was 42 SMEs from Bandar Setia Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, and Deli Serdang Regency. Questionnaires with Likert scale questions were used for this study. Multiple linear regression and the coefficient of determination are used in SPSS 24 to test the hypothesis after the questionnaire is distributed and verified for validity, reliability, and the classical assumptions of normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. According to the results of this study, the entrepreneurial mindset can increase the efficiency of small and medium enterprises. shows how having an entrepreneurial bent can help small and medium-sized businesses succeed. Accounting information systems have an effect on the performance of SMEs, as evidenced by research findings, indicating that adopting such systems can enhance organizational success. Data studies reveal that when a company's capital decreases, it has a negative impact on the company's success.
