Abstract

Background: Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy (TPT) is important in TBC control and elimination strategies at the individual and community levels. However, few studies have systematically mapped developing scientific themes and trends related to TPT, primarily through bibliometric analyses. Therefore, a comprehensive bibliometric study is needed to identify key research foci and gaps in the current TPT knowledge pool. Purpose: This study aimed to identify global research trends in TPT as a preventive strategy to reduce TBC incidence. Methods: This study used a systematic literature review approach and bibliometric analysis using Scopus and PubMed databases through the Publish or Perish (PoP) platform, publications from 2010 to 2024. The initial search yielded 266 articles, which were screened using Mendeley for abstracts and keywords, resulting in 109 relevant publications. Bibliometric analyses were then conducted using VOSviewer version 1.6.20. Results: IPT (Isoniazid Preventive Therapy) has a close relationship with Preventive therapy, tuberculosis, child, contact, and HIV. Other results also show that the number of publications discussing TPT from 2020 to 2024 has decreased from 23 to 2, and the latest research topics related to TPT were only found in 2019. Conclusion: Publications related to TPT from 2020-2024 continue to decline; therefore, it is necessary to revitalize research related to TPT, especially by exploring issues that have not been widely discussed, such as the implementation of TPT in high-risk groups other than children and PLHIV, such as people with chronic diseases, the elderly, and populations with limited access to health services.

Abstract

This article discusses SWOT analysis as an effective tool in developing strategic plans to improve the quality of education. This research conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sijuk. Through a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) approach, this research identifies school strengths, such as the presence of quality teachers and adequate infrastructure, which can be the basis for strategic improvement. In the other hand, weaknesses in terms of limited operational funds and limited access to technology are also analyzed to find the right solution. Opportunities to improve the quality of education are seen through the development of professional teacher programs and the potential for strong support from parents and the community. However, this article also discusses threats it may face, including changes in educational policy and competition with other schools. By outlining this SWOT analysis, this article provides a comprehensive strategic basis for SMA Negeri 1 Sijuk to formulate an effective strategic plan in achieving a holistic improvement in the quality of education.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Twitter, has become a key platform for communication and opinion-sharing, where code mixing, the blending of multiple languages in a single sentence, is common. In Indonesia, Indonesian-English code mixing is widely used, especially in urban areas. However, sentiment analysis on code-mixed text poses challenges in natural language processing (NLP) due to the informal nature of the data and the limitations of models trained on formal text. This study applies back translation to address these challenges and optimize BERT-based sentiment analysis. The method is tested on the INDONGLISH dataset, consisting of 5,067 labeled tweets. Results show that applying back translation directly to raw tweets yields better performance by preserving original meaning, improving model accuracy. However, when back translation follows monolingual translation, accuracy declines due to semantic distortions. Repeated translation modifies sentence structure and sentiment labels, reducing reliability. These findings indicate that each additional translation step risks decreasing sentiment analysis accuracy, particularly for code-mixed datasets, which are highly sensitive to linguistic shifts. Back translation proves to be an effective approach for formalizing data while maintaining contextual integrity, enhancing sentiment analysis performance on code-mixed text

Abstract

The SMAW process is a commonly used metal joining method because it is very practical in its use, less cost, and easy availability of equipment. The SMAW process is also easy to operate and can be used in all welding positions. The problem that often occurs in steel construction lies in the welded joints. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the mechanical properties by adding nickel(Ni) to the welded joints. In this research,  electrodes E 6013 and steel of ASTM A 36 was used. The tensile tests, bending tests, hardness tests, macrostructure, and microstructure will be carried out to see changes in mechanical properties. The addition of Ni contributes well to mechanical properties. The tensile strength, face bending, side bending, and hardness increased by 27.6%, 14.5%, 4.8%, and 20.9%, respectively. In the observation of the macrostructure, the porosity was not visible in all samples, while in the microstructure observation, ferrite and pearlite phases were formed in all samples.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills have an important role in learning science in elementary school. But in reality, science learning in grade V of elementary school has not been optimally directed to develop students' critical thinking skills. The limitations of interesting learning media that are in accordance with the characteristics of elementary children are one of the causes of students' low interest and motivation to learn science subjects The objectives of the research are (1) Producing interactive multimedia with  a scientific inquiry approach, (2) Obtaining interactive multimedia  feasibility data with a scientific inquiry approach and (3) Obtaining effectiveness test datacritical thinking skills in improving  critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This development research uses the ADDIE model, namely: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; and (5) Evaluation  with mixed method research methodology.  The results of the research from expert validation in both aspects of material, media, language, and learning show that interactive multimedia with  a scientific inquiry approach is valid for use. The response of teachers and students to interactive multimedia with  a scientific inquiry approach is in the category of very good. The effectiveness test by implementing the scientific inquiry approach showed that interactive multimedia science was effective and practical in improving the critical thinking skills of Grade V elementary school students. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia with  a scientific inquiry approach can be used as a learning medium to stimulate students to reason and think critically in improving the quality of science learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of effectiveness of the teaching methods used, which are still limited and do not meet the needs and characteristics of the students. To address this, the researcher will implement a differentiated learning approach to enhance students' interest in learning. The aim of this study is to determine how effective the implementation of differentiated learning, tailored to the individual needs of students, is in improving the learning interest of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Islam Darul Huda through the implementation of the Field Experience Practice II in the Teacher Profession Education Program. This study employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research was carried out at SD Islam Darul Huda, involving 20 fourth-grade students as the subjects. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are quantitative and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study indicate that the percentage of students' interest in learning in the pre-cycle was 58.75%, increased to 78.05% in cycle 1, and further rose to 92.25% in cycle 2. Thus, the implementation of differentiated learning has proven successful in improving the learning interest of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Islam Darul Huda.

Abstract

Education plays a very important role in life; nothing can be separated from education. Education is a planned process that aims to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes, and moral values. The aim of this research is to explain the application of regulatory fishing media (PAPAN) to regulatory material in the surrounding environment in fostering learning motivation for class IV at SD Sultan Agung 4 Semarang. The type of research uses case studies with a qualitative approach whose collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed using three techniques, namely data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Then it was checked using triangulation techniques in the form of triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The results of the research show that Media Fishing Rules (PAPAN) has proven to be effective in increasing the learning motivation of class IV students at SD Sultan Agung 4 Semarang. This media helps students understand the rules of everyday life in an interesting and contextual way and encourages active involvement, self-confidence, and participation in discussions. However, its effectiveness depends on resource support and teacher skills in managing the classroom. Obstacles such as limited tools and lack of teacher experience need to be overcome through continuous evaluation and improvement. With careful planning, PAPAN can create learning that is interactive, relevant, and has a positive impact on students.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools often faces challenges in improving students' understanding of the concept of decimal fractions. Conventional methods that focus more on procedural memorization tend to be less effective in helping students understand the relationship between ordinary fractions and decimal fractions. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the application of the inquiry learning model with the help of student worksheets (LKPD) based on puzzles in improving the understanding of grade 4 students of SD Islam Sultan Agung 4 on decimal fractions. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, the subjects of the study were grade IV students who had difficulty understanding decimal fractions. Data were collected through observation, anchorage, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of the inquiry learning model with LKPD based on puzzles significantly improved students' understanding by identifying the form of ordinary fractions to decimal fractions showing the place value of decimal numbers, converting ordinary fractions to decimal fractions, and comparing fractions using a number line. In addition, 85% of students found it easier to understand the concept of decimal fractions, 78% were more confident in working on problems, and 90% stated that learning became more enjoyable. Thus, the inquiry learning model with puzzle-based LKPD can be an effective alternative in improving students' understanding of decimal fractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berfikir kritis kurang atau belum baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran PBL terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis pada pembelajaran IPAS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tes tertulis, wawancara , dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam wawancara adalah siswa yang mendapatkan nilai tertinggi dari setiap kategori kemampuan berfikir kritis. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dari lima kategori yang sudah ditentukan terdapat empat kategori yaitu subjek dalam kategori sangat rendah dengan rentang nilai (0 – 20) memiliki kemampuan berfikir kritis sangat kurang, subjek dalam kategori rendah dengan rentang nilai (21 – 40) memiliki kemampuan berfikir kritis yang kurang baik, subjek dalam kategori sedang dengan rentang nilai (41-60) memiliki kemampuan berfikir kritis yang cukup baik, dan subjek dalam kategori tinggi dengan rentang nilai (61 – 80) memiliki kemampuan berfikir kritis yang baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri Surodadi 1 berada pada kategori yang berbeda.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manajemen pembiayaan berbasis TIK dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan keuangan sekolah di TK Imam Bukhori Sekotong Lombok Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu kepala skeolah dan operator sekolah TK Imam Bukhori. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu metode wawancara, metode observasi, dan metode dokumentasi. Sedangkan tehnik analisis data menggunakan tehnik analisis Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari Data Reduction (Reduksi Data), Data Display (Penyajian Data), dan Conclusion Drawing/Verification (penarikan kesimpulan). Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen pembiayaan berbasis TIK di TK Imam Bukhori mencakup perencanaan keuangan yang matang melalui penyusunan RAPBS dengan aplikasi Microsoft Excel dan e-RKAS, pelaksanaan dan pencatatan transaksi secara digital, serta evaluasi dan monitoring secara real-time yang meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas keuangan sekolah. Pemanfaatan TIK mampu mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan, meningkatkan efisiensi waktu kerja hingga 35%, dan memperkuat pengawasan keuangan melalui sistem audit digital. Meskipun masih terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan literasi digital, komitmen kepala sekolah dan dukungan yayasan telah mendorong keberhasilan transformasi digital dalam manajemen pembiayaan di TK Imam Bukhori Sekotong Lombok Barat.
