This research uses a qualitative approach which aims to understand a phenomenon in a natural social context by prioritizing the process of in-depth communication interaction between the researcher and the phenomenon being studied. To find out the development strategy method, namely by analyzing external factors in the form of opportunities and threats as well as internal factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses by using SWOT analysis. From the results of the research, it shows that in realizing managerial strategies, there are processes that need tlo ble impllemented tlo incrlease tealcher wolrk prodluctivity bly melans olf strlategy formlulation, straltegy implelmentation alnd strlategy evalluation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the work commitment of teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. The research employs qualitative methods, with 5 subjects participating. Data collection methods include interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Data validity is checked through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The study concludes that: 1) forms of teacher commitment include: teacher involvement in activities, constructive responses from teachers, teacher cooperation, concern for school development, teacher compliance, teacher loyalty, and choosing teaching as a lifelong career; 2) strategies to foster teacher work commitment include: commitment to core human values, clarification and communication of the organization's mission, ensuring organizational justice, creating a sense of community, and supporting teacher development; and 3) implications of teacher work commitment include: the impact of teacher commitment, information about obstacles faced, efforts made, and teachers implementing the curriculum with full responsibility. The conclusion of this research is that teacher work commitment has been effectively implemented. The implications of this research can serve as input for enhancing teacher work commitment.

Abstract

The implementation of school-based management is expected to enhance the independence of schools in allocating available resources. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects were determined using the Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model by Milles and Huberman. Techniques for checking data validity included source triangulation, technical triangulation, time triangulation, and member checks. The research results are as follows: (1) school-based management planning is carried out by formulating, establishing, and developing the school’s vision, mission, and goals, identifying school needs, and creating a work program, (2) implementation is done by creating an organizational structure, carrying out various school activities according to the school’s work program, and following the principles of independence, partnership, transparency, and accountability, (3) evaluation is conducted by monitoring programs, carrying out school self-evaluation, and assessing the achievement of work programs, (4) supporting factors include complete and adequate facilities and infrastructure, qualified teachers and educational staff, good partnerships with various parties, a unique school culture, and a strong sense of nationalism, (5) inhibiting factors include the lack of water sources in the school environment and the suboptimal empowerment of teachers and educational staff. In conclusion, the implementation of school-based management has improved the quality of education at Senior High School 1 Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of school principals' leadership styles on the work motivation of elementary school teachers in Sekadau Hilir District. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected through surveys distributed to all teachers in public elementary schools within the district. The findings reveal a weak but positive relationship between the principal's leadership style and teacher motivation. Transformational leadership styles exhibited a stronger impact compared to other styles, emphasizing the role of inspiration and support. Additionally, the influence of leadership was moderated by local work culture, suggesting that cultural factors significantly shape the effectiveness of leadership in fostering teacher motivation. These results underline the need for adaptive leadership that aligns with cultural dynamics to enhance teacher motivation and overall educational quality.

Abstract

This study explores the role of professional teacher education in enhancing teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Belitang, Sekadau District. The research emphasizes the importance of professional teacher education in improving pedagogical competence, professional skills, and overall teacher effectiveness. Using a mixed-method approach, this study examines the impact of teacher education programs on teacher performance, focusing on both qualitative and quantitative data. The results indicate that professional teacher education significantly influences teaching quality by increasing teachers' skills, knowledge, and motivation. Furthermore, the study identifies challenges such as inadequate training programs, limited resources, and a lack of support from educational institutions. Recommendations for enhancing teacher education programs include strengthening teacher training, providing ongoing professional development, and improving support systems within schools. The findings highlight the essential role of professional education in shaping the performance and quality of teachers, which ultimately contributes to better educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of organizational behavior management (OBM) to enhance the competency of educators at SMA Negeri 2 Sepauk, Sintang, Kalimantan Barat. The research highlights the critical role of OBM in improving teacher performance through effective leadership, communication, and the creation of a collaborative school culture. Using a mixed-method approach combining case studies and literature reviews, this study explores the barriers to OBM implementation, the relationship between organizational behavior and teacher competence, and the development of a tailored OBM model. Key findings indicate that effective OBM improves pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies of teachers. However, challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change, and inadequate access to technology hinder its full implementation. A proposed integrative OBM model focuses on leadership, inclusive culture, training, technology management, and performance evaluation. This model aligns with the needs of SMA Negeri 2 Sepauk to develop an adaptive and innovative educational ecosystem. The findings provide practical recommendations for enhancing organizational behavior management in schools, contributing to the broader discourse on improving teacher competencies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang melatarbelakangi serta dampak pada aspek pribadi, sosial dan belajar yang ditimbulkan dari perilaku membolos pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi serta pengamatan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan perilaku membolos. Subyek dalam penelitian ini peserta didik kelas VIII yaitu Subyek 1 (Peserta didik berinisial RF) dan Subyek 2 (Peserta didik berinisial ML) di SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa wawancara untuk mencari informasi faktor penyebab subyek melakukan perilaku membolos serta memperoleh informasi secara akurat melalui data pendukung dokumentasi untuk memperoleh identitas subyek penelitian dengan pendekatan Rasional Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) dalam menangani perilaku membolos yang dialami oleh peserta didik yaitu permasalahan yang berasal dari diri sendiri, dengan pola perilaku membolos yaitu tidak hadir dalam jangka waktu yang lama tanpa keterangan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa perilaku membolos dapat mempengaruhi performa akademik perserta didik di sekolah.

Abstract

AbstrakPerundungan verbal merupakan bentuk perilaku kurang baik yang dilakukan menggunakan kata-kata menyakitkan,  memiliki efek buruk. Meskipun perundungan verbal tidak mematikan, namun merusak kepribadian, belajar, sosial dan karier  individu. Penting sekali bagi siswa untuk mengetahui dampak negatif karena mempengaruhi citra diri, emosi dan kondisi psikologis. Tujuan utama yang ingin dicapai dalam program ini adalah  memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman, mengidentifikasi masalah perundungan verbal, faktor penyebab munculnya perundungan verbal, mengatasi dan menangani kasus sebagai korban perundungan. Program ini diberikan dengan dalam bentuk seminar, materi  perundungan verbal diberikan dalam  video, slide PPT, kemudian dilanjutkan sesi tanya jawab, sharing session dan diskusi. Hasil yang didapat yaitu peserta didik memahami perundungan merupakan masalah etis dan perkembangan yang dapat menghambat perkembangan psikologis individu secara optimal, serta merusak hak asasi manusia. Perundungan verbal dapat mengganggu kesehatan mental, emosional, kesulitan mengembangkan kepercayaan diri, memiliki pandangan negatif terhadap diri sendiri, kesulitan membentuk hubungan yang sehat dan mengisolasi dirinya dari lingkungan sosialnya. Korban perundungan dapat mengembangkan bakat, minat dan  prestasi yang gemilang, agar tidak dijadikan bahan ejekan. Untuk mencegah bertambahnya korban dan pelaku perundungan verbal di sekolah, perlu kerjasama para guru, staf administrasi, para siswa dan orang tua yang dimotori oleh guru bimbingan konseling di sekolah tersebut. Kata kunci: layanan informasi; perundungan verbal; peserta didik SMP Abstract Verbal bullying is a form of misbehavior that is carried out using hurtful words, having adverse effects. Although verbal bullying is not lethal, it damages an individual's personality, learning, social and career. It is important for students to know the negative impact as it affects self-image, emotions and psychological state. The main objectives to be achieved in this program are to provide knowledge, understanding, identifying verbal bullying problems, factors that cause verbal bullying, overcoming and handling cases as victims of bullying. This program is given in the form of a seminar, verbal bullying material is given in the form of videos, PPT slides, then followed by a question and answer session, sharing session and discussion. The results obtained are students understand that bullying is an ethical and developmental problem that can hinder the optimal psychological development of individuals, and damage human rights. Verbal bullying can impair mental health, emotional well-being, difficulty developing self-confidence, having a negative view of oneself, difficulty forming healthy relationships and isolating oneself from their social environment. Victims of bullying can develop their talents, interests and achievements, so as not to be ridiculed. To prevent more victims and perpetrators of verbal bullying in schools, it is necessary to have the cooperation of teachers, administrative staff, students and parents led by the counseling guidance teacher at the school. Keywords: information services; verbal bullying; junior high school students

Abstract

Era pendidikan yang semakin kompetitif timbul problematika yang tidak kunjung usai seperti kurangnya penerapan strategi manajemen SDM berbasis motivasi, beban kerja yang tinggi dan kurangnya dukungan institusi, minimnya sistem insentif, lingkungan kerja yang kurang mendukung, kurangnya penghargaan dan apresiasi terhadap guru, ketidakmampuan manajemen dalam mendukung adaptasi teknologi. Untuk, itu diperlukan pemecahan masalah untuk meminimalisir sebagai upaya pengendaliannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis kepustakaan (library research), yang mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber pustaka terkait. Dengan metode deskriptif analitis, data disusun dan diinterpretasikan secara sistematis untuk menjawab rumusan masalah. Skema induktif digunakan untuk memudahkan analisis dalam menjawab pertanyaan penelitian. Motivasi berperan penting dalam optimalisasi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), khususnya dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di organisasi pendidikan. Baik motivasi intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik Pemahaman terhadap teori motivasi seperti Hierarki Kebutuhan Maslow dan Teori Dua Faktor Herzberg membantu manajemen SDM menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung, mengurangi ketidakpuasan, serta meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam segala aktivitasnya. Optimalisasi kinerja guru melalui manajemen SDM yang berkelanjutan menjadi strategi penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan sehingga dapat menjadi harapan untuk mendidik generasi penerus yang unggul, berjiwa daya saing dan kompetitif. Dukungan berupa pelatihan berkelanjutan, kesejahteraan, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam pengambilan keputusan memungkinkan guru berperan lebih optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan mengenai kecemasan sosial pada peserta didik di SMP Quran Alkarima Kubu Raya. Subjek pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 peserta didik kelas VIII Tholibah dan kelas IX Tholib serta 11 subjek pendukung: dua orang teman kelas, dua orang pendamping kamar, dua orang wali kelas, satu orang guru BK, dua orangtua subjek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Jenis penelitiannya studi kasus instrinsik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi struktur observasi. Analisis data menggunakanmodel interaktif yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan gejala kecemasan sosial yaitu gejala kognitif, gejala fisik, gejala tingkah laku, dan gejala emosi/perasaan. Faktor penyebab kecemasan sosial yaitu, cara berpikir, faktor biologis, keluarga, dan lingkungan. Dampaknya ialah menganggu proses belajar, sulit dalam pertemanan, penurunan kesejahteraan subjektif dan kualitas hidup, dan depresi. Upaya yang sudah dilakukan guru BK untuk mengatasi anak yang mengalami kecemasan sosial yaitu, layanan informasi, layanan konseling kelompok, dan layanan konseling individual.
