Abstract

Animated video learning media is a tool that can be used in various learning models to improve the quality of learning. However, there are still many social studies teachers who have not utilized animated videos in social studies learning to increase student activity and learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of animated videos on the activity and social studies learning outcomes of elementary school students. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with an experimental design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 42 students and 1 teacher. Data collection techniques through questionnaires in the form of pre-test and post-test statements with a Likert scale of 5 to assess student activity and learning outcomes. Data analysis used a paired sample t-test to determine whether there was an influence between the two variables assisted by the SPSS Version 26 program. The results showed that the use of animated videos in social studies learning was stated to be effective so that learning activities took place optimally and were able to improve activeness and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explore the intersection of leadership, teacher empowerment, and change management within the framework of the "Sekolah Penggerak" initiative, a transformative educational program in Indonesia. The study examines how leadership practices influence teacher empowerment and the successful implementation of change management strategies in educational settings. Using a qualitative approach, the article highlights the critical role of transformational leadership in fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration among educators. Findings reveal that empowering teachers through participative decision-making, professional development, and supportive environments is key to sustaining change initiatives. The article concludes by offering recommendations for school leaders to enhance the effectiveness of "Sekolah Penggerak" initiatives by prioritizing teacher empowerment and embracing dynamic change management practices to achieve long-term educational reform.

Abstract

A comprehensive guidance and counselling service manager is included in the curriculum. Independence is a skill that BK teachers must possess. This study aims to determine the Implementation of Comprehensive Guidance and counselling services in the Independent Curriculum in Pontianak City High Schools in 2024. The method used is descriptive with a Subick survey research form. This is a Pontianak City High School that has implemented the Independent Curriculum. The research instruments used are interview guides and questionnaires. The results of the study contain a description of comprehensive guidance and counselling services in the implementation of the independent curriculum, where the implementation of guidance and counselling services in Pontianak City High Schools has been running well, although some need to be improved. The rules regarding the suitability of service programs, the programming of development activities, and the distribution of the number of BK teachers according to the number of students indicate room for improvement in evaluating original programs and compiling service programs, BK, by the Independent Curriculum. Abstract

This study is dedicated to describing the role and level of the head of the education unit in detecting obstacles and alternative solutions in order to improve the job satisfaction of education staff at SMAN 1 Anjongan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation carried out at SMAN 1 Anjongan. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions are drawn. First, the efforts realized by the head of SMAN 1 Anjongan reviewed from the job description itself, honorarium/incentives/allowances, work partners, promotion opportunities, and work culture for improving job satisfaction are categorized as sufficient. Second, the obstacles include the very small number of PNS/ASN education staff and the education qualifications of education staff are not yet appropriate, thus affecting professionalism and the level of job satisfaction. Third, alternatives to overcome obstacles as an effort to improve job satisfaction reviewed from the fulfillment of the small number of education staff and their academic qualifications are by recruiting qualified alumni in the field of educational administration. In addition, carrying out IHT activities or training to improve the competence of education staff both inside and outside the school.

Abstract

Intrapersonal intelligence can help students solve mathematical problems, and each student has different abilities depending on their level of intelligence. This study aimed to determine and explain students' mathematical problem-solving skills on congruence material in relation to intrapersonal intelligence. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used. The instruments included an intrapersonal intelligence questionnaire, a mathematical problem-solving skills test, and an interview guide. The results show that students' intrapersonal intelligence falls into three categories: high (21.43%), medium (60.71%), and low (17.86%). Students with high intrapersonal intelligence were able to fulfill all four indicators of mathematical problem-solving skills: understanding the problem, planning the solution, implementing the solution plan, and reviewing the solution. Students with medium intrapersonal intelligence were able to fulfill three indicators: understanding the problem, planning the solution, and implementing the solution plan. Students with low intrapersonal intelligence were able to fulfill two indicators: understanding the problem and planning the solution.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain data and information on the significant influence of teacher performanceand workload on the work productivity of junior high school teachers in Jelai Hulu District. The formof this research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population in this studyconsisted of 39 respondents, and the sampling method was saturated sampling, specifically targetingpublic junior high school teachers in the Jelai Hulu District, totaling 39 individuals. The respondentshad a minimum work experience of two years and were classified as Civil Servants. Among them,there were 18 male respondents aged 25-45 years and 21 female respondents aged 22-48 years. Theresearch method involved data collection using a questionnaire technique with a data collection toolin the form of a questionnaire list. The instruments developed consisted of three variables: teacherperformance, workload, and teacher work productivity. In this case, the questionnaire containingquestions will be distributed to teachers in the Jelai Hulu sub-district. The collected data will betabulated, followed by measurement using a Likert scale. The data will be analyzed using the SPSS29.00 program. Subsequently, validity, reliability, normality, linearity, and hypothesis tests will beconducted.Based on the findings and data analysis, the research concludes that:(1)Teacher performance has an influence on the work productivity of public junior high school teachersin Jelai Hulu District by 10.91%, (2) Workload has an influence on the work productivity of public juniorhigh school teachers in Jelai Hulu District by -2.34%, and teacher performance and workload togetherhave an influence on the work productivity of public junior high school teachers in Jelai Hulu Districtby 59.60%. With these findings, it can be concluded that teacher performance significantly affectsthe work productivity of teachers, and workload also has an inverse effect on the work productivity ofteachers, as indicated by the value of -23.40%. The negative value in the data obtained means that thehigher the workload, the lower the work productivity of the teachers.The implications of this researchare (1) For teachers, they should always prepare materials and lesson plans as an implementationof pedagogical skills, (2) For teachers, in accepting work burdens according to regulations, they willreceive a minimum of 24 contact hours and a maximum of 38 contact hours, so that time can be usedeffectively and efficiently, (3) For teachers and researchers, it is recommended to conduct researchwith other variables besides teacher performance and workburden.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum in the Early Childhood Education Study Program (PIAUD) at IAIN Pontianak. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The participants in this study consisted of 5 individuals, including dean, lecture and college student, with ages ranging from 23 to 58 years old. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and document analysis related to the management of the MBKM curriculum. The findings of this study reveal the following: First, the PIAUD program at IAIN Pontianak plans its curriculum with a focus on the Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL). Second, the MBKM curriculum provides flexibility for students in selecting courses and activities, with assignments that link theory and practice. Third, lecturers provide guidance and constructive feedback to develop students' skills. Fourth, an intensive monitoring system is implemented to ensure students' progress. The conclusion of this study is that the MBKM curriculum in the PIAUD program at IAIN Pontianak focuses on direct practical experience to enhance students' pedagogical skills. The implication of this study is the need for increased collaboration with industry partners and the strengthening of technology in learning to prepare students for challenges in the workforce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyoroti krusialnya pengembangan pendidik sebagai pemimpin transformasional. Di era digital dan Society 5.0, peran pendidik tak lagi sekadar mengajar, melainkan juga menginspirasi, memimpin perubahan, dan beradaptasi dengan lingkungan pendidikan yang dinamis. Melalui studi kepustakaan kualitatif naratif deskriptif, ditemukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional efektif meningkatkan kinerja dan kesejahteraan guru, serta komitmen afektif di lingkungan pendidikan. Gaya kepemimpinan ini juga mendorong inovasi, kolaborasi, dan penguatan hubungan interpersonal untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman. Oleh karena itu, membekali pendidik dengan keterampilan kepemimpinan transformasional sangat penting guna mencetak pemimpin masa depan yang mampu menjawab tantangan global dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

This research is an attempt to find out more about school administrative management in the High School Education Unit in Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The research method chosen is Descriptive Qualitative and also with Literature Review in the data collection process. In this study, the subjects of the study were school principals, heads of school administrative staff, school administrative staff who had the task of managing administration in schools. School administrative personnel are part of the education human resources besides teachers who play an important role in the education service process. However, attention to the existence of administrative staff is still lacking. Support from school management, especially school principals, in increasing professionalism, administrative services, increasing competency, ratio of personnel, supporting facilities and welfare is urgently needed. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to increase the existence of school administrative staff so that they can provide professional, quality and excellent quality educational administration services.

Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in reducing social anxiety among children at LPKA Class II Sungai Raya. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using CBT approach in reducing social anxiety among children at LPKA Class II Sungai Raya. The research method used was experimental with a pre-experimental design, specifically the Pre-test-Post-test One Group Design. The sample was taken using non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling type. A total of 8 children with high social anxiety levels were selected from a population of 30 children with high social anxiety levels. Based on the calculation, the average pre-test score was 154.125, and the post-test score was 86.875. Furthermore, the Paired Sample T-test yielded a T-value of 12.052 with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, and an Effect Size of 7.50 (high), which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This indicates that there is a significant difference in social anxiety levels among children before and after receiving group counseling using CBT approach. Therefore, it can be concluded that group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach is effective in reducing social anxiety among children at LPKA Class II Sungai Raya.
