Abstract

E-Warong Berkah Harapan is one of the places where the SEMBAKO program aid packages are distributed, which serves nearly 400 aid recipients every month. The crowd that occurred was not impossible to cause a new transmission clutser for Covid19. Therefore, the service team from UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim conducted counseling on "Education on Healthy Lifestyle and the application of Adaptation to New Life Habits Post-Covid19 Pandemic". Before the counseling was carried out, the SEMBAKO package distribution activities neglected to maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter, did not use a mask and did not yet provide adequate hand washing facilities. The pre-test results about the management's knowledge also showed that the average test score was quite low, amounting to 49.77. After counseling, the post-test results showed a fairly high increase with an average score of 91.14. This increase shows that the management's knowledge has increased from the previous one. The service activity was also accompanied by the handing over of personal protective equipment for administrators in the form of face shields, masks, hand sanitizers, hand washing soap, plastic gloves and hand washing vats. It is hoped that the covid19 transmission chain can be broken and e-Warong administrators can do their job well and smoothly.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in the success of public infrastructure organizations, particularly in the electricity transmission sector, which operates in a high-risk and highly regulated environment. This study aims to analyze the role of workload and work motivation in shaping employee performance in public infrastructure organizations in the electricity transmission sector. The study uses a quantitative approach with a causality design and was conducted at PT PLN's Makassar Transmission Implementation Unit. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to 60 permanent employees selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results show that workload and work motivation each have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, these two variables simultaneously have a significant influence, explaining 57.4% of the variation in employee performance. These findings indicate that in the context of an electricity transmission organization as a high-reliability public organization, a proportionally managed workload supported by adequate work motivation can encourage improved employee performance. This study provides empirical contributions in clarifying the mechanism of employee performance formation in the electricity sector and serves as a basis for more effective human resource management in public infrastructure organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the National Mandate Party (PAN) communication strategy in attracting the support of millennial voters in the 2024 Election, with a focus on the effectiveness of the use of digital media and face-to-face interactions. Millennial voters, who dominate up to 56.45% of the total voters, are the main target of PAN's political campaign. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the SMCR (Source, Message, Channel, Receiver) analysis framework to explore the main elements in PAN's political communication. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with party members, campaign teams, and millennial voters in North Sumatra, while secondary data were collected from document analysis and PAN's social media content. The results of the study show that PAN has succeeded in attracting the attention of millennial voters through digital campaigns on social media such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp. However, this digital strategy has not been fully effective in rural areas with limited internet infrastructure. In addition, PAN faces challenges in political regeneration, fierce competition with other parties, and a lack of strong local figures. Inconsistency in delivering messages between the center and regions is also an obstacle in building solid relationships with voters. The study recommends that PAN adopt a hybrid strategy that integrates digital and traditional approaches, strengthens the presence of local figures, and adapts messages to the specific needs of millennial voters. This strategy is expected to increase PAN's political relevance and strengthen its electability in the upcoming election

Abstract

To analyze the antecedents and implications of digital customer experience. The proposed research model integrates several theories and approaches, namely 1) Information Integration Theory (IIT), 2) Multi Attribute Theory (MAUT), 3) Value Co-Creation Theory, 4) Theory of flow. From the integration of these theories and concepts, the variables used in the modeling are: online flow, value co-creation, digital customer experience, and customer loyalty. This study involved 182 respondents  (young people aged 17 to 45), living in Jakarta and its surrounding cities. Data were processed using Smart-PLS to determine the relationships between variables. The results show that online flow state significantly influences value co-creation, and value co-creation influences digital customer experience. An interesting finding from this research is that digital customer experience and online flow state can be proven to significantly influence customer loyalty. The hypothesis test examines the indirect effect of online flow state on customer loyalty through two consecutive mediators: value co-creation and digital customer experience. The results indicate a significant double mediation effect. To achieve customer loyalty in the context of e-commerce, companies need to strategically create engaging online experiences (trigger flow), encourage active customer participation in value creation, and ultimately, ensure that all of this results in a superior digital customer experience. Based on the research findings, the following recommendations are: a) Prioritize Experience Design that Inspires "Flow": invest more in immersive, intuitive, and seamless user interface/user experience design. Use gamification elements, intelligent personalization, and responsive interactions to minimize distractions and maximize user engagement., b)  Facilitate and Reward Value Co-Creation: create and optimize platforms that enable active customer participation. This could take the form of an active community forum, an easily accessible and rewarded product review system, a publicly accessible "wishlist" or "product idea" feature, or even a limited co-design program for new products or features. Ensure customer contributions are visible and valued., c) 1) Improve the Quality of the Digital Customer Experience Comprehensively: Companies must continuously audit and improve every digital touchpoint. This includes page load speed, design responsiveness across devices, digital customer service efficiency (AI chatbots, live chat), transaction security, and branding consistency across platforms.

Abstract

Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) remains a leading cause of neonatal mortality and long-term neurodevelopmental disability worldwide, with therapeutic hypothermia emerging as the standard neuroprotective intervention for eligible neonates with moderate to severe HIE. We report a case of a late preterm female neonate (36-37 weeks gestation) born via emergency cesarean section due to severe maternal preeclampsia with respiratory failure, who presented with severe birth asphyxia (APGAR scores 1/3), profound metabolic acidosis (umbilical cord pH 6.7, base excess -20 mmol/L), and severe encephalopathy (Thompson score 15). Therapeutic hypothermia was initiated within 6 hours of birth and continued for 72 hours, followed by controlled rewarming, with the patient requiring mechanical ventilation for 10 days and hospitalization for 17 days total. The patient demonstrated progressive neurological improvement with Thompson scores decreasing from 15 to 3 over the first four days of treatment, while cerebral regional oxygen saturation remained within normal limits throughout cooling therapy. The infant was successfully weaned from mechanical ventilation, achieved full enteral feeding, and was discharged home without apparent neurological sequelae. This case demonstrates the successful implementation of evidence-based therapeutic hypothermia protocols in severe HIE management, emphasizing that early recognition, appropriate patient selection, precise temperature control, and comprehensive supportive care are critical for optimal outcomes, while long-term neurodevelopmental follow-up remains essential for all HIE survivors.

Abstract

This study investigates the psychological mechanisms underlying trading decisions among novice investors in Indonesia. Drawing upon behavioral finance and Prospect Theory, the research examines the effect of overconfidence on trading decisions, incorporating risk propensity as a mediating variable and financial literacy as a moderating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using primary data collected through an online survey of 220 novice investors with less than two years of investment experience. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and indirect relationships. The findings reveal that overconfidence has a positive and significant effect on trading decisions. Overconfidence also significantly increases risk propensity, which in turn positively influences trading decisions, indicating partial mediation. Furthermore, financial literacy weakens the positive relationship between overconfidence and trading decisions, suggesting that higher financial knowledge functions as a partial buffer against cognitive bias. This study contributes to the behavioral finance literature by clarifying how cognitive bias translates into actual trading behavior within an emerging market context. The results highlight the importance of strengthening financial literacy and behavioral awareness to improve the quality of investment decision-making among retail investors.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of financial literacy, digital financial literacy, financial attitudes, and hedonistic lifestyles on financial behavior with self-efficacy and locus of control as mediating variables. The study used qualitative approach with survey design involving 200 students at State University of Makassar. Data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicated that financial literacy, digital financial literacy, and hedonistic lifestyle significantly influence to self-efficacy. In contrast, financial attitude does not have a statistically significant effect on self-efficacy. Furthermore, financial literacy, digital financial literacy, and financial attitude significantly influence to locus of control, while hedonistic lifestyle does not exert a meaningful influence on this construct. Concerning financial behavior, both of financial literacy and financial attitude show significant direct effect, whereas digital financial literacy and hedonistic lifestyle do not exhibit significant direct relationships. In addition, self-efficacy has a significant effect on financial behavior, while locus of control does not significantly predict this outcome. The mediation analysis indicates that only hedonistic lifestyle has a significant indirect effect on financial behavior through self-efficacy, whereas other indirect effect through self-efficacy and locus of control are not statistically significant. These findings suggest that self-efficacy functions as a more salient psychological mechanism than locus of control in connecting cognitive determinants and lifestyle orientation to financial behavior. This study's will contribute to the theoretical literature by clarifying the differential role of self-efficacy and locus of control. It offers practical implications, emphasizing that improving students’ financial behavior requires strengthening their confidence in financial decision-making and enhancing financial literacy.
