Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Based on the 2018 Riskesdas, Central Jakarta has the highest prevalence in DKI Jakarta Province. This research is a descriptive quantitative study using medical record data on the incidence of pulmonary TB at the Cempaka Putih District Health Center in the period 2020 to 2021 using a sampling technique with total sampling approach. From the results of the study, it was found that the most were in the age category of 15-35 years (55.7%) and the least were in the category <15 years (10.3%). Male sex 54 people (55.7%) and female sex 43 people (44.3). The residence of the patients was 80 people (82.5%) in the Cempaka Putih District and 17 people (17.5%) outside the Cempaka Putih District area. Most were diagnosed from January to April 2020 (23.7%), and there were 3 patients with pulmonary TB who were reactive with HIV. The incidence of pulmonary TB patients was 97 people with 44 people (45.4%) diagnosed in 2020 and 53 people (54.6%) diagnosed in 2021. The highest incidence of pulmonary TB was in the age group 15-35 years (55.7 %), male sex (55.7%), living with TB sufferers in the Cempaka Putih District area (82.5%), most were diagnosed in January to April 2020 (23.7%), and there were 3 HIV reactive pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a non-infectious malignancy that can attack ductal or lobular epithelial cells in the glandular tissue of the breast. Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Indonesia and the world. This study aims to determine the level of folate consumption in premenopausal women and its association with breast cancer. The research design used was case control. Premenopausal women's folate consumption levels from both groups were obtained using the Semi-quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire. The results of the study were obtained from 76 respondents, the majority of respondents were >41 years old when diagnosed with breast cancer (45.8%). Based on the results of the variable analysis, it was found that a total of 5 respondents smoked. Respondents who smoked were more in the control group with 4 respondents (80%) compared to the breast cancer group which only amounted to 1 respondent (20%). Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that only one respondent consumed alcohol and came from the breast cancer group. History of cancer in the family was found more in the breast cancer group, namely 17 respondents (73.9%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that a family history of cancer is a significant factor (p value <0.05). Based on the results of an analysis of folic acid consumption by breast cancer and control groups, it was shown that in the breast cancer group, respondents with low consumption of folate were more, namely 22 respondents (55%), with a difference of 10%. Whereas in the control respondents, there were more respondents in the high consumption category, namely 16 respondents (44.4%) with a difference of 11.2%. In this study, it was found that there was no significant relationship between intake of foods high in folate and the incidence of breast cancer in premenopausal women (p value > 0.05).

Abstract

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world. According to WHO, there are 2.3 million women diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer appears more aggressive in premenopausal women. Unhealthy lifestyles such as excessive alcohol consumption, smoking, and eating high-fat foods can increase the risk of breast cancer. Allah SWT advised us to pay attention to our diet, because something excess is not good. Methods: The research is a quantitative research with observational analytic. The population is divided into a case group, 38 women who were diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 35-47 years and a control group, namely 38 women who didn't suffer from breast cancer, aged 35-47 years. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with the snowballing method. This research taken using a questionnaire containing identity and Semi-Quantitative FFQ and processed using SPSS, and analyzed using Chi-Square test. Results: A total of 45.8% of respondents aged 41-50 years when diagnosed with breast cancer with P-value (0.342). 71 respondents didn't have smoking habit with P-value (0.165), 75 respondents didn't have a habit of consuming alcohol with P-value (0.314), (73.9%) respondents from the case group had a family history of cancer with P-value (0.006). 55 respondents consumed foods high in saturated fat with a P-value (0.442). Conclusion: There was no significant association between age, alcohol consumption, smoking habits and consumption of saturated fat and the incidence of breast cancer, but there was a significant association between family history and the incidence of breast cancer.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV 2 virus and is highly contagious. Central Jakarta is one of the areas with the highest Covid-19 incidence, and the Cempaka Putih Health Center is one of the health centers in the area. This study used a descriptive study with secondary data in the form of medical records at the Cempaka Putih Health Center, and total sampling was obtained. This research resulted in (16%) aged <18 years, (42.4%) aged 18-40 years, (33, 6%) aged 41-64 years, (7.3%) aged ≥65 years, and (0.6%) not recorded. (46.5%) are male and (53.4%) are female. (12.6%) are employees, (4.2%) are students, (4.2%) are traders, others (4.4%), (1%) do not work, and (77.6% ) not recorded. Place of residence (47.5%) in Cempaka Putih District, (51.8%) outside of Cempaka Putih District, and (0.7%) not recorded. (15.4%) had a history of previous illness, (24.9%) had no history of previous illness, and (59.7%) were not recorded. (3.2%) had the COVID-19 vaccine, (7.3%) had never been vaccinated against COVID-19, and (89.5%) were not recorded. The conclusion of the study is that the highest proportion was obtained (42.4%) aged 18-40 years, (53.4%) women, (12.6%) employees, residence (51.8%) outside Cempaka District Putih, (24.9) had a previous history of illness, and (7.3%) had never received the COVID-19 vaccine. In the view of Islam one must stay away from the plague, and seek to get healed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh proses post weld heat treatment (PWHT) terhadap kekuatan tarik pada pengelasan material similar atau sejenis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelasan material AISI 1045 menggunakan metode Metal Inert Gas (MIG) dengan penambahan PWHT. Proses pengelasan MIG menggunakan variasi kuat arus sebesar 80 A, 90 A, dan 100 A. Sedangkan proses PWHT menggunakan variasi suhu yaitu 600°C, 700°C, dan 800°C. Analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dari hasil pengujian tarik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pada kekuatan tarik PWHT 600°C sebesar 893.33 MPa memiliki nilai paling baik atau lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan PWHT 800°C, dan PWHT 700°C dengan nilai sebesar 680,88 MPa dan Non PWHT material memberikan nilai sebesar 658.66 MPa. (2) temperatur PWHT dapat mempengaruhi kekuatan tarik. (3) Perlakuan pengelasan dengan kuat arus sebesar 100 A dan PWHT 600°C pada material AISI 1045 adalah yang paling optimal, karena memiliki nilai kekuatan tarik tertinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to carry out a comprehensive characterization of guano from cave and non-cave environments through a series of mineralogical and chemical analyses. The methodology used includes X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis to determine the composition of chemical elements, X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) for mineral phase identification, and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) for morphological observations. The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the comparison of magnetic mineral properties, (2) to analyze the composition of chemical elements, (3) to analyze the types and phase distribution of magnetic minerals, and (4) to analyze the morphological differences between cave guano and non-cave. Cave guano samples are in the Bat Cave of the Rammang-Rammang Maros Karst Area and for non-cave guano samples are in Kalong Park, Soppeng Regency. The results showed that cave guano had a significantly higher magnetic susceptibility value than non-cave guanos, with variable values ranging from 278.0 x 10-8 m-3 kg to 832.7 x 10-8 m3/kg, while non-cave guano ranged from 23.7 x 10-8 m3/kg to 51.1 x 10^-8 m3/kg. The elemental composition of both types of guano is generally the same, but non-cave guano does not contain vanadium (V). XRD analysis revealed greater mineral phase diversity in cave guano compared to non-cave guanos. SEM confirmed significant morphological differences, with cave guano showing a denser and more uniform microstructure compared to a more heterogeneous structure in non-cave guanos. This research provides new insights into the influence of the environment on the composition and physical properties of guano, which can be helpful in agricultural applications and environmental research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan Learning Management System (LMS) dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Metode studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai sumber yang relevan mengenai implementasi dan dampak LMS dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LMS menyediakan berbagai fitur yang mendukung pengelolaan konten, interaksi dan komunikasi antara dosen dan mahasiswa, serta penilaian dan monitoring kinerja. Manfaat utama dari penggunaan LMS termasuk peningkatan aksesibilitas, fleksibilitas, keterlibatan mahasiswa, dan kualitas interaksi dalam proses pembelajaran. Meskipun demikian, tantangan dalam implementasi LMS meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan keterbatasan anggaran. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, perguruan tinggi perlu meningkatkan infrastruktur teknologi, menyediakan pelatihan yang memadai, serta mengembangkan kebijakan yang mendukung penggunaan LMS. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dengan mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan memanfaatkan potensi penuh dari LMS, perguruan tinggi dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan mereka

Abstract

The elderly, or senior citizens, are a group of individuals who have reached old age. People in this age group are usually more susceptible to health problems. Calcium is a nutrient that is essential for the body and is the most abundant mineral found in the body, accounting for approximately 1.5-2% of an adult's body weight or about 1kg. Insufficient or excessive calcium intake can lead to abnormal metabolism. Calcium deficiency can result in osteoporosis and hypocalcemia, while excess calcium can cause hypercalcemia. The purpose of this study is to determine the calcium (Ca) levels in the elderly at the "Budi Sejahtera" Social Protection and Rehabilitation Home for the Elderly in South Kalimantan Province. The research design used in this study is a descriptive survey, which is a method used to describe or analyze research findings but not to draw broader conclusions. The calcium levels in the elderly were measured using a cross-sectional design, which observes population or sample data only once at the same time. The sampling was conducted on June 10, 2023. The sample used was blood from the elderly at the "Budi Sejahtera" Social Protection and Rehabilitation Home for the Elderly in South Kalimantan Province, with purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique based on specific criteria, resulting in 30 participants out of 69. The calcium levels (Ca) of the 30 respondents were calculated to have a mean of 6.81mg/dl, a maximum of 10.80 mg/dl, and a minimum of 3.30 mg/dl. The results showed that 21 respondents had low calcium levels, 8 respondents had normal levels, and 1 respondent had high calcium levels. Based on the characteristics of the 30 respondents, there were 18 male and female respondents in the younger age group (60-74 years), and 3 respondents in the older age group (75-95 year).

Abstract

This research is a development research which aims to develop a valid, practical and effective IPAS teaching module based on Project Based Learning (PjBL). The development model used is the 4-D development model which consists of four stages, namely defining, designing, developing and deploying. The teaching module developed was validated by two experts, then tested on 37 students of class X Pharmacy at SMK Negeri 1 Polewali. The results of the research show that the developed module meets the criteria of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The module is said to be valid based on the results of module validation with an average value of 3.73 in the very valid category. The module is said to be practical based on (1) the implementation of the module by two observers in the learning process with a score of 1.82 in the fully implemented category; (2) the teacher's response to the developed teaching modules obtained an average score of 94 in the very practical category; and (3) student responses with an average score of 89.75 in the very practical category. The module is said to be effective based on the results of the analysis of student learning outcomes tests with a class completeness percentage of 94.59%. The developed module contains covers, initial competencies, core components, learning activities, and assessments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess and evaluate the influence of work experience, autonomy, honesty, competence and audit ethics on the audit quality of the public accounting firm in Makassar city. This method of analysis used in the study is quantitative with primary data sources, which are data collected by administering questionnaires directly without intermediaries. Multiple linear regression analysis was used using the t-test to prove and evaluate this. There were 48 respondents to the number of samples in this report. The validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test, coefficient determination test, t-test, and f test were used for data analysis. The conclusion of this analysis is that there is a positive and important influence of work experience on the consistency of audits. Freedom has a positive and powerful influence on the consistency of audits. Integrity has a positive and meaningful influence on the consistency of audits. Competence has a positive and important effect on the quality of the audit, and Auditor Ethics has a positive and important impact on the quality of the audit.
