Abstract

This research aims to describe in depth the challenges and implementation strategies of Electronic-Based Government Systems (EBS) in the context of public service bureaucratic reform in Indonesia. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach based on a literature study, this research examines various current data sources from books, scientific journals, and official regulations. The results show that the implementation of SPBE still faces multidimensional challenges, especially in the aspects of ICT infrastructure, system integration, public digital literacy, competence of state civil apparatus (ASN), leadership commitment, and organisational culture. The biggest challenge lies in the limited infrastructure and low digital skills, both among ASN and the general public. To overcome this, suggested strategies include strengthening digital infrastructure evenly, continuous digital competency training, improving cross-sector coordination, and reforming organisational culture towards digitalisation. This research confirms the importance of leadership commitment, policies that favour digital transformation, and a transparent and adaptive SPBE performance evaluation system to support more efficient, responsive, and accountable bureaucratic reforms

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between critical thinking skills and the practice of akhlakul karimah (noble character) among fifth-grade elementary students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Cokro Aminoto in Ambon, Indonesia. While akhlakul karimah is a core objective of Islamic education, the specific role of critical thinking in its development remains underexplored, particularly within the Indonesian primary education context. Using a quantitative approach, this research employed a psychological scale to measure the critical thinking skills and akhlakul karimah of 61 students. The findings indicate that students' akhlakul karimah is in a "good" category (mean score of 83.21), while their critical thinking skills are categorized as "fairly good" (mean score of 57.87). A significant positive correlation was found between the two variables (r=0.331, p<0.05), with slot deposit 5000 critical thinking contributing 10.9% to the students' akhlakul karimah. Other factors influence the remaining variance (89.1%). These results suggest that fostering critical thinking is an important, though not exclusive, strategy for enhancing students' moral character. The study's implications highlight the need for educational interventions that integrate critical thinking into moral education curricula to better support the development of noble character in students.

Abstract

Abstract: This article examines the phenomenon of demonstrations from the perspective of the Qur’an by comparing classical exegesis with digital interpretation based on ChatGPT. The ease of access to Qur’anic exegesis through web platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) raises critical questions regarding its validity: does it conform to the interpretative standards established by scholars, or does it still require verification through primary tafsir sources? This study aims to explore the similarities and differences between classical and digital interpretations when applied to the theme of demonstrations. Employing a qualitative method with a library research approach, the study utilizes Tafsir al-Ṭabarī, Tafsir Ibn Kathīr, and digital responses generated by ChatGPT. The findings indicate that classical exegesis emphasizes Islamic normative principles such as amar ma‘rūf nahi munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil), the prohibition of fasād (corruption), justice, and consultation. Demonstrations are deemed permissible if conducted peacefully to uphold justice but are prohibited if they lead to anarchy and disorder. Meanwhile, ChatGPT provides interpretations in a popular, communicative, and contextual style, making them more accessible to the public. In conclusion, both approaches converge in substance allowing peaceful demonstrations while rejecting anarchic actions but differ in their mode of presentation: classical tafsir is textual-normative, whereas digital tafsir is more practical and contextual. These findings highlight the importance of integrating both approaches in addressing contemporary socio-religious dynamics. Keywords: Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī, Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr, ChatGPT, demonstrations

Abstract

Tauhid-based education plays a crucial role in shaping the spiritual character of young children. This study aims to analyze the implementation of tauhid learning and its influence on the development of children's spiritual character at Waladun Shalih Integrated Islamic Kindergarten in Palopo City. A qualitative case study approach was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of tauhid-oriented educational practices within an integrated Islamic school environment. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, teachers, staff, and group B children (aged 5–6 years) as research subjects. The findings reveal that tauhid learning is implemented in a structured manner through thematic approaches and daily spiritual activities such as collective prayer, Dhuha prayer, morning dhikr, and the introduction of Asmaul Husna. Teachers serve as role models in spirituality and behavior, functioning as direct media for instilling tauhid values. The formation of children's spiritual character is further supported by a religious school environment and active parental involvement through parenting programs. These results affirm that the implementation of tauhid learning significantly contributes to building the foundation of faith and spiritual character in early childhood

Abstract

The Banggai Cardinalfish, Pterapogon kauderni, has been introduced and spread in Kendari Bay, Southeast Sulawesi. The purpose of this study is to estimate the current fish density and distribution of microhabitats in Kendari Bay. Observations of fish populations used the belt transect method at 5 observation stations, with 4 replications per station. Overall fish density ranged from 82±10 individuals/100 m2 to 1,509±583 individuals/100 m2. The fish choose to associated with micorohabitats such as Diadema sp., (69.1%), fire coral from the genus Millepora (16.4%), Sea anemone (10.7%) and seagrass (3.8%). P. kauderni was observed coexisting with other fish species in microhabitats such as around seagrass roots and corals, without showing significant aggressive behavior. Considering its ecological adaptations, P. kauderni is potentially suitable for aquaculture systems that combine multiple species. With the right domestication approach, this species has great potential for development in a sustainable ornamental aquaculture industry.
