Abstract

Village mediation as an effort to resolve disputes is an important thing for the community to do. This is because mediation in rural communities emphasizes the harmonization of society and the values of local wisdom. This research is oriented towards explaining the importance of reviving mediation practices at the village level which aims to maintain community harmonization and how to formulate the right law to revive mediation practices at the village level. This research is a juridical-normative research that seeks to analyze legal issues with primary, secondary, and non-legal materials. The results of the study indicate that efforts and urgency to revive dispute resolution through mediation from the village head need to be carried out because there is an essence of moral values and maintaining harmonization in society. The legal formulation to revive the practice of mediation at the village level is to optimize Lawrence M. Friedman's theory of the legal system which includes: substance, structure, and legal culture

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies and challenges faced by the Public Relations of PT Telkom Indonesia in enhancing Indihome's brand awareness in the Pakulonan area. Using a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with the marketing communication manager and employees, the study found that the main strategies included the utilization of social media, community event organization, and collaboration with local influencers. These strategies proved effective in broadening audience reach and fostering positive relationships with the community. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, price competition, and the public's lack of understanding of fiber-optic technology hindered the efforts' effectiveness. To address these issues, the company needs to accelerate infrastructure development, improve internal communication, and enhance public education. The findings provide critical insights into optimizing communication strategies to support brand awareness growth in the telecommunications industry.

Abstract

This study delves into the Quranic concept of ideal leadership by examining the narrative of Prophet Yusuf and its alignment with transformational leadership theory. Utilizing a qualitative library research approach, this analysis synthesizes insights from an array of primary and secondary sources including classical Islamic texts and contemporary scholarly articles. It identifies key leadership qualities exemplified by Prophet Yusuf such as intellectual prowess, professionalism, fairness, consistency, and the capacity to nurture a productive and inclusive environment. These attributes are juxtaposed with Bernard M. Bass's transformational leadership framework, which comprises intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, individualized consideration, and idealized influence. The research articulates how the leadership exemplified by Prophet Yusuf resonates with modern theoretical constructs and offers practical implications for contemporary leadership in organizational and national contexts. The findings underscore the enduring relevance of Quranic narratives in informing and enhancing modern leadership paradigms.

Abstract

Pelayanan Keperawatan di Rumah Sakit merupakan salah satu pelayanan yang sangat penting dan berorientasi pada tujuan asuhan keperawatan secara profesional sesuai standar keperawatan, yang dinilai berdasarkan kinerja perawat dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada pelayanan kesehatan. Kinerja kerja perawat dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh beban kerja, iklim kerja, culture shock dan stress kerja terhadap kinerja perawat rawat inap di Sakai He iei Hospital Jepang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Responden penelitian ini 30 orang perawat Indonesia yang bekerja di Sakai Heisei Hospital. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas data diperoleh nilai p yaitu 0,119 atau > 0,05 artinya data berdistribusi normal dan hasil uji t didapatkan bahwa beban kerja, cultures shock dan stres kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja kerja perawat dengan nilai p= 0,022, 0,049, 0,043 atau < 0,05, hanya variabel iklim kerja yang tidak berpengeruh terhadap kinerja kerja perawat. Jika seorang perawat dengan beban kerja yang tinggi, stres kerja yang berat serta cultures shock yang dirasakan akan berdampak terhadap penurunan kinerja kerja perawat. Sebaiknya dalam manajemen Rumah Sakit perlunya menyediakan pelatihan khusus untuk perawat Indonesia guna meningkatkan atau menyesuaikan kompetensi perawat, agar pelayanan yang diberikan dapat maksimal dan dapat bersaing dengan perawat Jepang lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance disaster preparedness knowledge and skills among high school teachers and students in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, through a gamified educational approach called "Mission: Resilience." With the recognition of Kendari as a high-risk area for earthquakes, floods, and landslides, the project leverages gamification to improve engagement and learning outcomes in disaster readiness. The research involves a Participatory Rural Appraisal method, employing quizzes, flashcards, and simulations to deliver training on hazard mitigation, emergency response, and evacuation processes. Results from the pre and post-tests indicate a significant increase in disaster preparedness awareness and skills among participants. Additionally, the study confirms the effectiveness of integrating practical disaster simulations within the school curriculum. Ultimately, "Mission: Resilience" serves as a model for sustainable educational practices in disaster-prone regions, emphasizing continuous training and infrastructure enhancement to ensure long-term community resilience.

Abstract

This study examines the critical role of business characteristics in addressing the complexity of global challenges. The main objective is to identify and analyze key business characteristics that enhance resilience and adaptability in the face of international markets, technological advancements, and socio-political changes. Using a literature review method approach, this study seeks to further examine the critical role of business characteristics in addressing the complexity of its global challenges. The results of the analysis indicate that businesses that emphasize innovation, strategic planning errors, and strong stakeholder engagement are better equipped to manage global business. In addition, this study highlights the importance of cultural competence and sustainability practices as critical factors contributing to long-term success. These insights provide valuable guidance for businesses seeking to strengthen their competitive advantage and resilience in an increasingly connected world.

Abstract

Storing rice for a long time in the warehouse has the potential to be attacked by warehouse pests, namely rice weevil insect (Sitophilus oryzae). Rice weevil attacked on storage rice caused a decrease in the quality and quantity of rice, so environmentally friendly pest control is needed, such as the used of bioactive plant compounds as botanical insecticides. This research aimed to see the effect of bioactive compounds from the combined powder of fragrant pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) and wuluh starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi) leaves on the mortality of the rice weevil pest S. oryzae. The method of this research used a non-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experimental method with 4 concentration levels of botanical insecticide combination powder, that were 30, 40, 50 and 60 g. The research results showed that the combination of fragrant pandan and wuluh starfruit leaf powders contained bioactive compounds were steroids, terpenoids, saponins, flavonoids, phenolics and tannins. The activity of the bioactive compounds saponins, flavonoids, phenolics and tannins worked as inhibitors of insect feeding (antifeedant) and caused the mortality of S. oryzae. The highest mortality percentage reaching 85% was obtained after applicated by a concentration of 50 g. The increase in mortality of the S. oryzae pest occurred every week, until mortality reached more than 80% in the 3rd week was obtained in treatment concentrations of 30 g (84.2%) and 50 g (85%).

Abstract

Makrozoobenthos plays a crucial role in ecosystems as producers, primary consumers, and decomposers or detritus that can degrade organic compounds into inorganic ones. As primary consumers, the role of makrozoobenthos is vital for the survival of wildlife, especially various species of shorebirds commonly found in coastal areas and fish-shrimp pond areas. The aims of this research is determining the abundance of makrozoobenthos (ind/m3) and ecological index at the pond in Ulee Matang Village. The diversity of macrozoobenthos species in the area consists of 12 species of three phylum and six classes. The abundance of macrozoobenthos on two type of pond (fish and shrimp) are ranging from 892 ind/m3 to 1400 ind/m3. The Arthropoda phylum, abundant in the research area, notably featured the Water Flea Daphnia sp. that serving as a primary food source for fish and shrimp prior to the introduction of fish and shrimp seeds. This suggests a significant role of arthropods in the food chain, supporting not only fish and shrimp but also macrozoobenthos and shorebirds.

Abstract

Ducks are one of the sources of high-quality animal protein, receiving attention in meeting human consumption needs. However, the cultivation of Peking ducks, which have great potential as meat producers, is still carried out extensively and has not been optimal in Indonesia. This study aims to investigate the effect of fermented sago pulp in rations on the quality of carcasses and abdominal fat of Peking ducks. The research method involved the provision of fermented sago pulp in Peking duck rations, with a focus on evaluating the quality of carcasses and abdominal fat. Peking ducks. This study used an experimental method while the design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications so that there were 12 experimental units. The results showed that the provision of fermented sago pulp in rations showed a significant impact on live weight, carcass weight, carcass percentage, and abdominal fat of Peking ducks. Based on ANOVA analysis and DMRT test, the provision of fermented sago pulp increased all of these parameters at a significance level of P <0.01. Treatment D with 100% fermented sago dregs produced the highest live weight of 1.29 kg and the highest carcass weight of 576.11 gr, significantly different from other treatments.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies of lecturer’s competency development at STAI al-Azhary Cianjur, as well as to identify the challenges and solutions encountered in this development process. The issues addressed include budget limitations, time constraints, and monitoring systems that affect the effectiveness of the lecturer’s competency development programs. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case study, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document studies. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively to provide an in-depth overview of the situation faced. The findings indicate that STAI al-Azhary has implemented various competency development programs, such as training, seminars, and research support, which have significantly enhanced the pedagogical and professional abilities of its faculty members. However, challenges regarding budget and time management remain obstacles that need to be addressed. This research also emphasizes the importance of strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the effectiveness of the programs that have been implemented, allowing administrators to make necessary adjustments. These findings offer insights for higher education administrators to formulate more effective strategies for lecturer’s competency development, aimed at achieving better quality education in the future.
