Abstract

Kegiatan peduli lingkungan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait pentingnya lingkungan sehat, indah dan bersih. Kebersihan lingkungan menjadi kunci utama dalam menjaga kesehatan. Metode pelaksana dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan sosialisasi dan aksi social. Konteks penyelenggaraan kegiatan aksi bersih sosial di afvoer Kemambang , Pengabdian Masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang dilakukan sebagai bentuk panduan utama dalam hal wujud tanggung jawab sosial mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Proses ini dilakukan dengan tahap sosialisasi, masyarakat dan mahasiswa melakukan kegiatan aksi bersih afvoer Kemambang di sekitar Sungai secara Bersama sama untuk saling bergotong royong membersihkan area tersebut berpartisipasi aktif terhadap lingkungan sosial. kegiatan dilaksanakan mulai dari observasi, perizinan, pelaksanaan, penutupan kegiatan, dan pembuatan laporan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian untuk peduli lingkungan dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap masyarakat sekitar yakni memiliki kesadaran untuk menjaga lingkungan dan melaksanakan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Serta lebih lanjut, dengan lingkungan yang bersih dan sanitasi yang baik akan membantu mencegah terjadinya penyebaran penyakit menular. Serta dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan nyaman bagi warga setempat.

Abstract

Reading the Qur’an accurately and fluently in accordance with the rules of tajwid and tartil is a fundamental competence that must be mastered by santri as part of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools. However, preliminary observations at LEI (Ludfie Ekolistik Institute) of Pondok Pesantren Tambak Bening Surabaya revealed that a number of santri still experience difficulties in reading the Qur’an properly due to differences in religious educational backgrounds, limited intensive guidance, and the shortage of qualified tahsin instructors. This community service program aimed to improve the quality of santri’s Qur’anic reading through a Qur’an Reading Assistance Program in the form of tahsin tilawah activities. The program employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, implemented through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The tahsin activities were conducted through both group-based and individual mentoring using an applied tajwid method tailored to the santri’s reading abilities. The results indicate a significant improvement in santri’s Qur’anic reading skills, particularly in terms of makhārij al-ḥurūf, accuracy of tajwid, and reading fluency. Furthermore, the program enhanced santri’s motivation and spiritual awareness of the importance of proper Qur’anic recitation as an act of worship. This activity also represents the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and strengthens the synergy between universities and Islamic boarding schools in developing Qur’an-based Islamic education

Abstract

mutual cooperation movement within the environment of Sunan Giri University Surabaya has been successfully carried out by scholarship students and also involves the community in this mutual cooperation movement. Good collaboration between students and the community has enabled positive outcomes. This mutual cooperation movement includes cleaning the environment, addressing waste management issues, and raising awareness about the importance of cleanliness. Active involvement of students is key to the success of this program. This mutual cooperation program also serves as a learning opportunity for students to develop social skills and leadership. This study aims to analyze the role of the mutual cooperation movement and student participation in improving campus cleanliness using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. Theresearch method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach is applied to identify assets and resources owned by the campus community as capital to encourage active student participation in cleanliness activities. The results show that optimizing community assets through mutual cooperation significantly increases awareness and participation of students in maintaining campus environmental cleanliness. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of asset-based empowerment in building collective awareness to create a clean and sustainable campus environment.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the urgency of improving the quality of education in facing the challenges of human resource development towards the golden generation of 2045. Student learning outcomes are the main indicator of learning success that is influenced by various factors, including teacher skills in teaching, the availability of facilities, and student learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of teacher teaching skills, learning facilities, and learning motivation on student learning outcomes at MTs Unggulan Al Jadid Waru Sidoarjo. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research sample amounted to 107 students selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and observations, with the questionnaire instrument using an eight-point Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Multiple linear regression tests, t-tests, simultaneous tests, and determination coefficient tests were used as the data analysis process. Student learning outcomes were proven to be significantly influenced by teacher teaching skills, learning facilities, and learning motivation, as shown in the research findings. In addition, student learning outcomes were proven to be significantly influenced by the three variables studied simultaneously.

Abstract

The river cleanup program conducted by students is a strategic ecological initiative to reduce pollution and increase environmental awareness. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to identify the role of students in cleaning rivers around the campus and its impact on environmental awareness and the physical condition of the water. The method used is a descriptive approach based on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) through the stages of identifying environmental assets and potential, participatory mapping with the community, implementing cleanup actions, and evaluating the results of the activity. Data were obtained through field observations and documentation of activities. The results of the PkM show that students and the community are directly involved in identifying pollution points, collecting and sorting waste, and providing waste management education to local residents. Routine activities result in a decrease in the volume of surface waste, smoother river flow, and increased water clarity based on visual observations. Joint participation also increased community involvement in maintaining the cleanliness of the riverbanks. Thus, this community service activity achieved its goals of increasing concrete actions in river cleanups and encouraging active community participation in environmental conservation efforts.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi semakin maju seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Proses pembelajaran di sekolah masih ada yang belum berhasil secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, ketika peneliti melihat bahwa sekitar 45% siswa kelas VI belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang diperlukan, peneliti memutuskan untuk menggunakan media pembelajaran Microsoft PowerPoint agar meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rumusan masalah dan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Bab Zakat di SDN Sumbersari I Beji. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian ex post facto, yaitu pengukuran setelah terjadinya suatu kejadian. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengikuti pendapat Prof. Dr. Suharsimi Arikunto (2002:117) dengan menggunakan random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan rumus Yule’s Q sebesar 0,602. Siswa lebih memperhatikan pelajaran dan menjadi paham terhadap materi yang telah diberikan sehingga hasil belajar mereka menjadi baik. Hasil perhitungan Yule’s Q diperoleh [object Object], yang terletak pada rentang nilai [object Object] s/d 0,69. Ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif yang tinggi dari penggunaan media Microsoft PowerPoint terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI Bab Zakat di SDN Sumbersari I, Kecamatan Beji, Kabupaten Pasuruan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the application of The Ekolistic Way Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning and its impact on shaping students' character at Ma'had Tee Bee Surabaya. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The results show that this curriculum is implemented holistically through the integration of three main pillars: (1) making God the center (spiritual), (2) humanizing humans (social), and (3) naturalizing nature (ecological). The learning process is not only cognitive but also emphasizes exemplary behavior, habituation, and the creation of a contextual educational environment. The character formed in students reflects values such as discipline, empathy, social responsibility, and environmental care. The success of the curriculum implementation is supported by community commitment, the exemplary role of central figures, and a sustainable mentoring system. This study concludes that The Ekolistic Way Curriculum can be a transformative character education model relevant to modern educational challenges

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of time management, communication skills, and classroom control on teacher discipline in teaching high school students in Sidoarjo City. By applying a quantitative survey method to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling in four private schools, this study identifies three main factors that are considered to have a significant influence on the level of teacher discipline. The research instruments passed validity and reliability tests, strengthening the analysis results obtained. Based on the results of multiple linear regression, the three independent variables had a significant positive influence, with classroom control emerging as the most dominant factor in improving teaching discipline, followed by time management and communication skills. These findings indicate that efforts to strengthen teacher discipline require simultaneous improvements in competence in these three main aspects. The results show that 39.8% of the variation in teacher discipline levels can be explained by time management, communication skills, and classroom control, while the rest is triggered by other factors outside this model. The practical contribution of this study lies in its recommendations for classroom management training, strengthening time management skills, and developing effective communication programs for teachers. In addition to individual aspects, institutional support in the form of supervision, workshops, and mentoring is key to creating disciplined and high-quality teaching practices. The implications of this study direct schools and policymakers to develop teacher professionalism as a foundation for improving the quality of learning. Expanding the variables for further research is expected to provide a more complete picture of other factors that influence teacher discipline
