Abstract

Technological advances, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), have driven major transformations in the education system, including in Indonesia. The 2025 Curriculum is a response to this dynamic, positioning the Pancasila Student Profile as the central axis balancing 21st-century competencies with character building. However, the digital era also brings serious challenges such as disinformation, value deculturation, and social alienation, which threaten the moral integrity of the younger generation. This article aims to systematically analyze the strategic role of character education in the 2025 Curriculum and formulate an integrative strategy between character and technology. Using a qualitative approach based on literature, this research examines curriculum policies, character education practices, and the potential use of AI to support value-based learning. The analysis shows that character education cannot be replaced by technology, as character is formed through affective, reflective, and social processes that can only be facilitated by human interaction. However, AI can be an effective tool if designed ethically and contextually, such as through project-based learning, digital storytelling, gamification, and character e-portfolios. Therefore, the integration of character education and technology in the 2025 Curriculum presents a strategic opportunity to shape students who are not only intellectually intelligent but also morally resilient in the digital age.

Abstract

At the moment the demand for materials is increasing with good mechanical properties as well as economical. As an effort to meet these needs, composite materials are used. A composite is a combination of two or more inhomogeneously mixed materials consisting of a matrix and a reinforcement. Various studies conducted generally use one type of fiber so that the composite properties depend on one fiber used. The research that has been carried out has the aim of determining the effect of variations in the addition of pineapple leaf fiber and charcoal powder on the tensile strength and toughness of the impact of polymer hybrid composites. In addition, useful research provides information to readers regarding the strength and toughness of polymer hybrid composite with pineapple leaf fiber reinforcement and charcoal powder. There were three variations in the ratio of pineapple leaf fiber and charcoal powder, namely 10%:30%, 20%:20%, and 30%:10% used in the tensile test. The results showed that the tensile strength increased along with the increase in the volume fraction of pineapple leaf fiber due to good load distribution and the ability to withstand increased tensile load. The average yield of absorbent energy of polymer hybrid composites is 35.81 J, 35.526 J, and 30.93 J, respectively, while the toughness value decreases along with the increase in pineapple leaf fiber due to the bond between the fibers and the matrix that is getting weaker As for the average yield of impact prices of 0.506 J/mm2, 0.466 J/mm2, and 0.39 J/mm2, respectively Keywords: Composite, Polymer Hybrid Fiber Composite, impact, Matrix.

Abstract

Shading causes differences in light intensity that trigger physiological and morphological variations in leaves, including stomata density and size as a form of adaptation to balance photosynthesis and transpiration. This phenomenon is the basis for selecting the research, because it illustrates the adaptive ability of plants to changes in the microenvironment in their natural habitat. This study aims to analyze the density and size of stomata of dicotyledonous plants growing in shaded and open areas in the Sempaja Arboretum. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with samples of several dicotyledonous plant species growing in shaded and open areas. Data were obtained through microscopic observation of leaf epidermis preparations using direct section techniques, optilab, and image raster 3. Statistical analysis showed that the density of stomata in open areas was higher (480 stomata/mm²) than in shaded areas (323 stomata/mm²). However, the size of the stomata did not show a consistent pattern; The average length (25.21 µm) and width (18.45 µm) of stomata in the shaded area were slightly larger than those in the open area (24.16 µm and 17.18 µm). These results indicate that high light intensity encourages increased stomatal density as an adaptive mechanism to support photosynthesis.

Abstract

Introduction: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a major global health concern frequently complicated by diabetic foot ulcers, which require effective wound care to prevent infection and accelerate healing. Moist Wound Healing (MWH) and Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) have been recognized as complementary therapies that may enhance skin and tissue integrity. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of combining MWH and VCO ointment on wound healing and pain reduction in a patient with a diabetic ulcer. Methods: This case study involved a T2DM patient presenting with a grade IV diabetic ulcer on the right foot. The intervention consisted of MWH combined with VCO ointment, administered three times at three-day intervals. Wound healing was evaluated using the Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment Tool (BWAT) to measure skin and tissue integrity, while pain intensity was assessed using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Results: After three intervention sessions, notable improvements were observed. The BWAT total score decreased from 60 to 29, reflecting substantial tissue regeneration. The presence of healthy granulation tissue increased from 90% to 96%, indicating enhanced wound bed recovery. Additionally, the patient’s pain score decreased from 5 (moderate) to 2 (mild) on the NRS scale. Conclusion: The application of Moist Wound Healing combined with VCO ointment demonstrated effectiveness in improving skin and tissue integrity, enhancing granulation tissue formation, and reducing pain in a T2DM patient with a diabetic ulcer. This intervention shows potential as part of comprehensive wound care management; however, further studies with larger samples and extended observation periods are needed to strengthen these findings.
