Abstract

National education aims to produce dedicated, religious, moral individuals and cognitive intelligence. Applying students’ Islamic values through integrating Islam and science in science learning is one of the strategies that can be used to achieve these goals. Integrating Islam and science in science learning can direct the formation of knowledge about science concepts and improve students’ attitudes and spiritual skills. This study aims to analyze the effect of integrating Islam and science in science learning. This study explores the effect of integrating Islam and science in science learning with meta-analysis research by calculating effect size (ES). Research data were obtained from 38 studies from national and international journals. The results showed that integrating Islam and science in science learning has a significant impact, as seen from the ES of 0.658. It is explained that science learning integrating Islam and science can be an alternative learning method. Integrating Islam and science into science learning is an alternative educational method to achieve national education goals that can increase students’ intellectual and spiritual values. The results of this study can be utilized as a reference in the learning process and the development of teaching materials in science learning in the future.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Biologi di SMAN 1 IX Koto Sungai Lasi menunjukkan rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, terutama pada materi bakteri di kelas X fase E. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurang optimalnya penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) karena keterbatasan waktu dan rendahnya motivasi siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model PBL berbantuan media Teka-Teki Silang (TTS), sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 27 siswa kelas X.E.2, terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa, tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test), serta lembar observasi keterlibatan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan teknik persentase untuk mengukur tingkat keaktifan dan ketuntasan belajar siswa. Keberhasilan penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan peningkatan keaktifan siswa dan tercapainya ketuntasan hasil belajar minimal 80% siswa dengan nilai rata-rata ≥ 75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan TTS mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Pada siklus pertama, aktivitas siswa masih rendah, dengan tingkat ketuntasan hanya 37%. Namun, setelah perbaikan pada siklus kedua, aktivitas siswa meningkat secara signifikan dan ketuntasan belajar mencapai 85%. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan model PBL dengan dukungan media interaktif seperti TTS direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Biologi.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Biologi di SMAN 16 Padang menunjukkan rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik, terutama pada materi Jamur di kelas X fase E. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran, rendahnya hasil belajar, serta kurang optimalnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang inovatif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Teka-Teki Silang (TTS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 40 peserta didik kelas X.E.6 SMAN 16 Padang, yang terdiri dari 22 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas peserta didik, tes hasil belajar (pre-test dan post-test), serta lembar observasi keterlibatan peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan teknik persentase untuk mengukur tingkat aktivitas dan ketuntasan belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dianggap berhasil jika minimal 50% peserta didik menunjukkan aktivitas belajar yang tinggi dan 75% peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan nilai ≥75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan TTS mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan. Pada siklus pertama, ketuntasan belajar hanya mencapai 37,5%, namun setelah perbaikan strategi pada siklus kedua, ketuntasan belajar meningkat menjadi 87,5%. Aktivitas peserta didik juga mengalami peningkatan pada berbagai indikator, seperti keterlibatan dalam diskusi, menjawab pertanyaan, dan menyelesaikan tugas secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model PBL berbantuan TTS direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan pemahaman konsep biologi pada peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of activities and learning outcomes of students in class XI Phase F SMA DEK Padang with the application of the PBL model assisted by flash card media on respiratory system materials. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a pre-experimental method. The population in this study is students at SMA DEK Padang. The instruments used are interview sheets, test questions, and non-tests. The data produced is in the form of quantitative data and analyzed based on the average score and completeness of student learning, attitude values and skill values measured by tests and non-tests. The results of the study show that the application of the PBL model assisted by flashcard media has proven to be effective in improving students' activities and learning outcomes. Learning activities increased from 72% in the first cycle to 83.25% in the second cycle. Meanwhile, cognitive learning outcomes that had declined in cycle I showed a significant increase in cycle II, reaching 72% learning completion. Thus, the flashcard-assisted PBL model can be used as an alternative learning model that is able to increase student engagement and learning outcomes, especially for those who have a visual learning style.

Abstract

Guru berperan sangat penting dalam memilih dan menggunakan media yang digunakan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran namun masih banyak ditemui kurangnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru, sehingga siswa kurang mampu memahami materi pembelajaran secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo tentang materi virus untuk peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan Model 4D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua orang dosen dan satu orang guru sebagai validator penggunaan e-learning. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Tahap pengujian kelayakan media ini dilakukan dengan cara validasi produk oleh pakar. Hasil validasi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 92,56 dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil validasi ini ditinjau dari beberapa kategori yaitu aspek kelayakan isi, aspek kebahasaan, aspek sajian dan aspek kegrafikan. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket validitas. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat membuat siswa menjadi tertarik dan lebih mudah mengerti dengan materi yang diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Berbasis Edmodo ini baik dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The projection for the year 2030 estimates that 75% of the workforce will be comprised of millennials, raising questions about their ability to lead in the future. The digital transformation era and Industry 4.0 provide ample opportunities for this generation to thrive with their rapid technological adaptation and openness to new ideas. This research examines the millennial leadership behavioral development to enable them to effectively become change agents in digital organizations, using the case study of William Tanuwijaya at Tokopedia. Through a review of literature from international sources during 2020-2023, this study discusses millennial leadership theories and change management, highlighting the importance of adaptive leadership capable of managing change in the face of digital organizational challenges. The research findings indicate that millennial leadership styles vary according to organizational contexts. Millennials are confronted with change management, where organizational readiness to adapt is critical to success. Through William Tanuwijaya's leadership at Tokopedia, millennial leadership characteristics prioritizing social and environmental issues, sustainability, and the implementation of sustainable values are evident, alongside collaboration with the government to create an inclusive environment and focus on innovation and digital transformation in the economy. Leaders like William Tanuwijaya start by building teams consisting of celebrities or public figures in Indonesia to promote Tokopedia and strengthen the company's image while formulating the company's vision and initiatives, motivating employees, overcoming obstacles such as improving work efficiency, implementing successful minor changes, ensuring smooth change integration, and making change an integral part of the organizational culture and system.

Abstract

This research explores leadership behavior development through the interaction of transformational leadership, motivation to learn, innovative work behavior, and employee performance. Previous research findings have shown a positive correlation between transformational leadership, motivation to learn, innovative work behavior, and increased employee performance. This research explores leadership behavior development through the abovementioned three factors. The data used in this research was collected from 75 employees working at PT XYZ in South Jakarta from September to December 2023. The statistical method uses Partial Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with bootstrapping analysis. Statistically, it is proven that transformational leadership significantly interacts with motivation to learn, innovative work behavior, and employee performance. Motivation to learn has a significant positive effect on innovative work behavior and employee performance, and innovative work behavior has a significant positive impact on employee performance. It was found that motivation to learn and innovative work behavior mediate between transformational leadership and employee performance. The research results suggest the importance of developing leadership attitudes through transformational leadership and motivating employees to continue learning to produce innovative ideas for the company's progress. Leaders recommend training and development programs that enhance transformational leadership, managerial leadership, and innovative work behavior for improved employee performance. Leaders facilitate effective communication and collaboration between relevant departments to foster a culture of innovation.

Abstract

Literasi keberlanjutan menjadi salah satu keterampilan penting abad ke-21, khususnya dalam mendukung upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan pengelolaan sumber daya alam secara berkelanjutan. Literasi keberlanjutan merupakan  kemampuan yang penting dimiliki oleh peserta didik dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai keberlanjutan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam menghadapi masalah yang berkaitan dengan keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa soal tes literasi keberlanjutan. Data dianalisis untuk mengukur kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami, menganalisis, dan mengambil keputusan terkait isu keberlanjutan pada keanekaragaman hayati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis literasi keberlanjutan peserta didik fase E di SMA Negeri 2 Padang pada materi keanekaragaman hayati melalui tiga aspek utama, yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pola pikir. Penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik Fase E sebanyak 90 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor tingkat literasi keberlanjutan peserta didik Fase E SMA Negeri 2 Padang sebesar 51,11 dengan kategori sangat rendah. Skor masing-masing aspek literasi keberlanjutan yaitu aspek pengetahuan 56,69 (rendah), aspek keterampilan memiliki skor 48,02 (sangat rendah) dan aspek pola pikir 42,44 (sangat rendah).

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan, kepercayaan merek, komunikasi, dan kepercayaan kepada dokter dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien. Namun penelitian di RS Hermina Arcamanik masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, komunikasi, kepercayaan merek, dan kepercayaan kepada dokter terhadap loyalitas pasien yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan pasien. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner Google Form kepada 102 pasien dan dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas yang dimediasi kepuasan. Selain itu, kepercayaan merek dan kepercayaan kepada dokter juga memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan, loyalitas, dan loyalitas yang dimediasi kepuasan. Komunikasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan tapi berpengaruh negatif terhadap loyalitas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa kualitas pelayanan, kepercayaan merek, kepercayaan kepada dokter, dan komunikasi di RS Hermina Arcamanik secara keseluruhan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan, loyalitas, dan loyalitas yang dimediasi kepuasan pasien. Peningkatan hal tersebut dapat berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan rumah sakit. Service quality, brand trust, communication, and trust in doctors can enhance satisfaction and loyalty. However, existing research on this topic at Hermina Arcamanik Hospital is limited. The objective is to evaluate the impact of service quality, communication, brand trust, and trust in doctors on loyalty, mediated by patient satisfaction. Data was collected with Google Forms questionnaire distributed to 102 patients and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Findings demonstrate that service quality significantly and positively influences satisfaction and loyalty, with satisfaction as a mediating factor. Brand trust and trust in physicians have a positive impact on patient satisfaction, loyalty, and loyalty mediated by satisfaction. Communication has positive impact on satisfaction but negative on loyalty. Overall, the study concludes that service quality, brand trust, trust in doctors, and communication yield positive effects on satisfaction, loyalty, and loyalty mediated by satisfaction. Enhancements in these areas can foster the sustainability and growth of the hospital.

Abstract

This study explores the role of curriculum reforms in education development, focusing on the perceptions and experiences of teachers, administrators, and students in schools that have undergone recent curriculum changes. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis to gather data on the impact of the reforms. The findings reveal that while curriculum reforms have led to increased student engagement and the promotion of student-centered learning, challenges such as insufficient teacher training, inadequate resources, and resistance to change hindered their effective implementation. Teachers reported a lack of professional development and resources necessary to support the new curriculum, which affected their ability to fully integrate the reforms into their teaching practices. Students, on the other hand, expressed increased interest in subjects that employed project-based and collaborative learning methods, although some struggled with the self-regulation required in a more independent learning environment. This study contributes to existing literature by addressing gaps in teacher preparedness, resource allocation, and the varying outcomes of student-centered learning. The research underscores the importance of comprehensive teacher training, adequate resources, and inclusive reform processes to ensure the success of curriculum changes in promoting quality education.
